Coatzacoalcos has very little tourism compared to other seaside hotspots in Mexico. So coming to Fiesta Inn, it is good to note that the hotel is a perfect location for anyone who happens to be visiting. If you are a foreigner and do not know the area too well and want a landing spot in safe, modern, comfortable hotel- this is your spot.
I love this hotel when I visit. I often see international business associates who are brought to town because of work in the city’s offshore oil drilling. As well as Mexican travelers who are in town and looking for a comfortable place to stay. And so the hotel gives a high quality, comfortable vibe.
I personal love the view of the ocean being it’s located on the oceanfront. And a higher floor offers a picturesque sunrise over the ocean. The rooms are always clean and air-conditioned to a comfortable climate.
Location is also very good for exploring Coatzacoalcos. A 5 minute taxi or uber ride is all it takes to the local mall which has many stores and restaurants. Also the main road is a walkable ocean front who want see the town’s seaside sites and restaurants. A fresh seafood buffet is only a few blocks down from the hotel. For precaution, go with a group and never alone.
Overall, I feel very safe and comfortable in the hotel. I’m fortunate I have family local to the city with me- so I know where to go and how to behave when I visit. But if you don’t have locals to rely on, the staff is exceptional and can help your journey.

Un hotel muy bonito y seguro para hospedarse en Coatzacoalcos. Tiene la caliad minima de esta cadena y eso se agradece. El restaurante cierra a las 11 pm y eso nos sento muy bien a mi familia y a mi pues llegamos tarde y teniamos hambre y no sabiamos a donde ir.

The town is not all that attractive. Lots of trash on the beach, smoke from the oil industry was way too close for my liking—made for a nice sunset though. Staff very friendly and helpful, Victor in the restaurant was really a great waiter.

El unico inconveniente es que segun es un hotel libre de humo de cigarro... y a traves de las rejillas del aire acondicionado se colaba humo de cigarro e inhundaba la habitacion de humo casi a media noche. Reportamos el hecho dos veces. Comentaron que indagarian. Sin respuesta, llame una tercera ve... ya irritado pues no se podia dormir con olor a cigarro inhundando la habitacion y nos cambiaron a otra habitacion en el 5to piso. Deben reforzar con los clientes que esta prohibido fumar en la habitacion.

I have been in other Fiesta Inn Hotels and this isn't as good than others. The room was small and the bathroom had a different door that closed both the wc space and the complete bathroom.

Very Disappointing Service and Facilities
They didn´t respect my non smoking room reservation and gave me a smoking one. The beds are very small and uncomfortable. With regard to security, the parking lot is totally open and without any supervision, so really any person can get in without any control from the hotel staff.

Best in Coatza
We've stayed in some other hotels in Coatza, and so far this is clearly the best. It was clean, mostly professional staff, comfortable room... everything an American expects in a hotel stay. Stay away from the NH in Coatza. I hear the rooms in the ONE are too small. The only other hotel we want to try next time is the Terranova, but its far away from the malecon. Still it has pretty grounds and a view of a lagoon. Still, for comfort, Fiesta Inn met my expectations.

Compared to other hotels in the area the Fiesta Inn is decent, convenient to the airport. A bit remote from the town center. The constant, humid sea breeze makes for noticeable mildew odors in the rooms. All in all though not a bad hotel for business travelers.
Visit Rancho Viejo, El Trocadero for good beef, Piquitos for excellent but pricey seafood.

Highly recommended for business travellers. Clean rooms. Good work space with plugs for computers and chargers. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Restaurant was reasonably priced and food was good. Very acceptable for business travel. Not really a spot for vacation or family travel. I will stay here again.

It's right on the Malecon, westernmost end, and we were there just before Christmas and it was very quiet. Our room was nice, reasonably spacious, with a view of the water. The staff were particularly accommodating and the restaurant food remarkably good -- the menu was designed for busy travelers and included info about calories, fats, etc. The beach was awfully littered with trash, but when you walk along the Malecon or look out your window, you can't see it.

Clean modern hotel on coast blvd facing the ocean. Great for morning or evening jogging. Pleasant service with passable English. There's a small fitness center and outdoor pool which I didn't use (too busy). Closest shopping center is a fair walking distance, but taxis are numerous and reasonable. In hotel dining and bar, but only used it for the breakfast buffet (about $14)Rooms reasonably sized and very clean with stone floors (so you can tell if they're clean). TV, work desk, closet, iron&board, solid wi-fi. Perfect setup for a business trip.

No me gustó para nada no lo recomiendo y jamás volvería a ir! La alberca muy sucia el agua , a mi en lo personal como familia me dijeron que se cerraba a las 9pm y hubieron personas tomando hasta amanecer mis hijas no pidieron disfrutar y te cobran por descorche una grosería cuando pague $3000 por la estancia. Muy mal. Le falta mantenimiento!!!

La habitación muy pequeña, en general muy deteriorado hasta los muebles de la habitación ya desgastados entiendo que está frente a la playa y eso afecta pero deben de tratar de tenerlo mejor y el área de la alberca ya igual muy deteriorada, en relación a otros hoteles de la misma cadena esté muy mal, el personal si es amable. Las instalaciones en general están ya descuidadas, la alberca sucia, no hay nada para guarecerse y sobrevivir al sol, la habitación limpia pero las toallas sucias, con olor a pies y humedad, pedimos nos la cambiaran y no lo hicieron hasta que pasaron a hacer limpieza y como nos urgía bañarnos pues las tuvimos que utilizar así.
Desactivaron el servicio de las llaves (cabe mencionar que estaba cubierto por completo el pago de los 3 días y 2 noches) y un familiar enfermo tenía urgencia de entrar a la habitación y al regresar a qué le activarán las llaves no pudo contener y tuvo un accidente en el elevador.
Eso nos hizo sentir pésimo por la situación de nuestro familiar.
En general es bueno pero necesita mucho mantenimiento.

•Se indic que la habitación tiene frigobar, pero no es así, se debe solicitar y si se tiene disponible te lo otorgan...
En conclusión si mejoran estos puntos, el hotel sería excelente!.
