Hallway did not hsve AC, Front desck hot as hell. No Airport transportation as false advetised on the web site. Gym was small with broken equipment. Room look in need of maintenance, door at the bathroom was broke, and paint was piling on the walls. Never again. Pool dirty. Terrible.

Great restaurant and staff. Beautiful views of the ocean. Our only problem was we booked the suite with a balcony because we love to sit outside but, drink coffee and listen to the ocean. When we arrived we were told that the balcony was under maintenance and could not be used. The door to the balcony was caulked shut so it apparently has been “under maintenance” for quite some time! No walking out in the large balcony or hearing the ocean! Very disappointing.

When i arrived the whole $172 was charge to my card, nobody Travelocity or the hotel Staff did anything to really fix it. ON TOP OF THAT i paid extra for Ocean view room and i ended up looking at the restaurants roof. I paid extra for breakfast etc. it was my husband’s first time in my home town and this ruin the experience a LOT. And no refund for what i paid extra to have the view. I have proof they got the request and still they did not change my room when i told them. I think this is one of those hotels where you should only go if you want basic room. They do not honored your request even if you pay the extras.

Amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico from every room in the hotel. Excellent friendly staff. Excellent breakfast both a la carte and buffet. Healthy walk possible in the evening along the Beach area and brightly lit safe conditions. Hotel restaurant is open late which makes it very convenient. Overall an excellent hotel choice.

The tile flooring ruins the very nice hotel. I was a tile setter for 50 years. The owners need to bring in a certified tile expert and repair all the tile, including the pool! It will need to be addressed eventually. Fix that and you will have a first class hotel.

Nice hotel but a little out dated. On the beach but the beach was not very clean so we did not venture down. The staff was very friendly. Internet on the second floor did not work at all. They offered to move us to a different room but we had already unpacked and were tired from the trip so we did not move. It was very convenient to town and was quiet. Overall not a bad stay.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. I only speak a little Spanish and they were able to speak English to me to make sure I was ok. The Pool and Fitness center were closed because of COVID-19 so that was my only issue. But really this is a great hotel in Coatza and i will stay there again :)

A beautiful, modern building, the staff were professional, helpful and generally pleasant. The di ing was quite good, but the windows were dirty, and my GPS had a terrible time dealing with street and highway setup.

The rooms are decent and almost all rooms are partial view rooms but even the partial cute are quite nice. My biggest issue was that the workout room is not fully equipped and is in really bad condition. Also do not expect them to have a decent wine selection. They didn't even have single bottle of white wine.

We always use a different hotel, but we wanted a pool so we stayed at the Holiday Inn. The pool was filthy! The towels are threadbare. The food was outstanding- though dinner so expensive. Breakfast was free and so so good. It is the ONLY hotel
In the beach... so disappointing! We cancelled the next 3 days and went to our usual hotel. Thanks to Hotels.com for making sure we got all our money back!

I stayed in 4 hotels while in Mexico and Holiday Inn in Coatzacoalcos is my favorite! The staff is amazing and patient. The view is pretty. I looked forward to the delicious breakfast buffet every morning. I was sad to leave this hotel.

Beautiful beach views

Beautiful views of the beach but windows needed cleaning. The beach in front of the hotel should also be kept cleaner.
The grout in the floor of the room was coming up making it difficult to walk barefoot. But overall beautiful room.
The only other thing that could make this hotel better is a shaded outdoor space to enjoy a dinner and the ocean. Would have been nice to see and hear the ocean.

I have no issues. I have not determined safety of swimming in the Gulf. Beach cleanness is so so. Water does look inviting. There are no life guards and few people on the beach. I saw a maximum of maybe 12 at one time.

Best in Coatzacoalcos.

This property is still fairly new and nice. They need to keep on top of maintaining it. Obviously used inferior exterior paint. To be fair, beach environment can be harsh. Beach looks nice enough but not good for swimming. Too much sewage . I have been staying here since new. Restaurant food and service still sub-par. A/C adequate to stave off high temperatures and humidity.

Simple brand new hotel

I probably didn't spend more than 10 hours checked into the hotel on this trip, but it served its purpose well. The hotel is the newest among the big hotel chains in Coatzacoalcos so it was modern (but simple) and very clean. The hotel had great internet connectivity and the bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was simple but new and clean so no complaints there. I'd say the only negative was the heat and humidity in the lobby, restaurant, and hallways.

El hotel esta bonito, grande, comodo, pero esta un poco descuidado en algunas pequeñas partes. Sigue siendo una buena opción y no tan caro, quizas considerando los detalles o la poca afuencia de turistas en la zona. En general todo bien, solo que no lo descuiden tanto y si les es posible poner sombrillas o palapas en la alberca, seria mucho mejor.

la puerta del baño no funciona, se le cae la manija, el agua de la regadera y del lavabo huele muy mal, como a drenaje o agua estancada, esta salada y cuando nos bañamos se siente una especie de grasa en el agua, tuvimos que usar el agua de botellitas para lavarnos los dientes y la cara. el personal de recepcion muy bueno y la camarista muy amable.

PERSONAL AL LLEGAR (FREDY) nada amable llegamos muy tarde después de 11:00 pm por un percance HABITACION ( baño sucio), sin cerrojo de seguridad la puerta, sin tazas para servir café, sólo una pequeña botella de agua éramos dos personas, el agua con olor y picor de óxido, muy poca presión en la regadera para enjuagarse, todo el piso 5 con olor a caño, la alberca descuidada, sucia, muy fría el agua, el jacuzzi fuera de servicio, sin buen acceso a la playa, ni un escalón o rampa es peligroso, las regaderas de enjuague en área de alberca sucias descuidadas, salieron ranas de la tubería, sin toallas para alberca en el momento requerido, sin papelería y pluma para escribir algún mensaje o recado, PERSONAL MATUTINO en recepción nada empático poco amable, el cuarto y cama limpio, que da buen descanso, ocasionalmente ruido de otras habitaciones, en área de restaurante todo bien personal MUY amable, excelente limpieza, rica, variada y abundantes alimentos en buffet del desayuno , el vigilante muy amable. NO HAY CARGADOR PARA AUTO ELECTRICO. era nuestra 1a opción por años, ha dejado de serlo lamentablemente. deben rescatar este maravilloso hotel a la brevedad posible.

De todos los Holiday que conozco en México, este es el que menos calificación obtiene. Al hotel le falta remodelación, se ve descuidado, carece de decoración alguna en lobby, pasillos y habitaciones. Ya se ven muy usados los muebles de la habitación. Cuando llegamos había una fiesta y apenas hubo lugar para nosotros los huespedes en el estacionamiento. El hotel cumple con lo básico. El restaurante es regular. El hotel no es de la categoria y servicio que se espera de un hotel que ostenta la marca de Holiday Inn. No te dejes engañar por el nombre.

Excelente ubicación y atención

El hotel está en una muy buena ubicación. Las habitaciones limpias y super cómodas colchones y almohadas. Si siento que le hace falta un poco más de cosas a vista en el hotel, se ve triste. El área de gimnasio le hace falta mantenimiento tanto al espacio como a los aparatos. Pero en general nosotros estuvimos muy cómodos y agusto. Todo el personal muy servicial en el hotel.

Nos cambiaron tres veces de cuarto. La primera habitación tenía sábanas sucias y el teléfono no servía. La segunda, no servía el AC. En la tercera, había ropa sucia escondida en un cajón! Le falta mucho mantenimiento.

Hablé un dia antes para confirmar si contaba con el servicio de alberca, lo cual me dijeron que si, al llegar la alberca se encontraba sucia, con pececito muerto, arena en toda la piscina y gusanos. me fui y seguia igual, obvio no expusé a mi familia a eso. la habitació con olor a húmedo y nunca se quitó. Las camas muy suaves y no pude descansar.

El check inn de una hora. A las 6pm no tenían limpia la habitación. No dejaron toallas y nunca las llevaron a pesar que varias veces las solicitamos. No tenían llaves para la puerta el restaurante terrible

Me decepcionó mucho ya que he estado en otros HI de otros estados, y generalmente siempre son amables, pero l recepcionista de la mañana mal encarada, no sonríe, no tiene servicio a cliente y es poco amable, adicional las habitaciones huelen mal, tienen mucha humedad y filtraciones.
Por último el establecimiento me hizo 3 veces el cargo que ahora tengo que solucionar con mi banco.
