Bathroom and sink always clogged up. Even after they fixed it. Shower knob very sensitive, slight touch and water would turn very hot, or very cold.

we ended our 3 week trip in Georgia and were fully taken care of. In this day and age, its easy to be cynical, but in a COVID world , you have to remember people are trying their best. The Courtyard staff are exceptional. They took it upon themselves to make sure everything we needed was addressed, or assisted with. Listen, you aren't going to get everything the way EXACTLY the way you want, but you will get efforts and a plausible solution. They assisted us with arranging a PCR test, translating countless requests over the phone. They dealt with our issues promptly and with a smile. Give this place a shot, its a great location and they go above and beyond. everyone gives their best and for that i would stay here again with no hesitation.

Hotel is positioned close to a major mall, right in front of the Freedom Square monument and steps away from the old city. Great blend of everything. Because the hotel is modern, you don't get the feeling you are in the old city but a 2 minute walk and you are in the heart of history.

Very central in city's main square, close to both old & new town sites. Nice big room, value for money. Didn't try the pool, and could barely do justice to the breakfasts with yesterday's Georgian dinners inside me. It was helpful to have internet point to print my boarding passes.

Note that Marriott has other hotels in town nearby, this one's specifically the Courtyard.

Do not expect much if service from this hotel. Its just some marriott style furniture decor and rooms. Customer service is disappointing and only good thing is the location of hotel. I recommend Radisson blu over this in Tbilisi, unfortunately I stayed only 1 night in Radisson and 2 with Marriott.

Perfect choice for comfort and value

I was skeptical about a courtyard but this one was just the right option for a city where there are many lodging options yet you are looking for an affordable slice of western comfort.

Location couldn’t be more central, hotel staff is kind, quick to help and fluent in English and they had a super gym and health club.

I wouldn’t stay here again the next time I’m in Tbilisi with my family.

Courtyard Marriot has the friendliest staff that remembers you by name and helpful throughout the stay! Maiko is tremendous, as well as get wonderful advice regarding the city and assistance from bartender, Kate (Keti) . All wait staff for morning breakfast friendly and efficient. Quiet room with view of St George statue in Liberty Square, great location near all main attractions in Tbilisi. Highly recommend!

Magnificent location

A wonderful stay in the center of Tbilisi

This hotel is so central - located right on Freedom Square. We had a great trip thanks to the reception staff, particularly Natia, who went out of her way to recommend places and even make phone calls for us to arrange transportation. Nini and the other reception staff were also exceptional and made our stay so comfortable.

Very good, central hotel

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. Central position in Freedom Square with the old town very near which was great. The bed was lovely and big and very comfortable, as were the pillows. A bit mean in replenishing the milk and coffee; never enough! No free WiFi even in our superior bedroom.

Satisfactory Experience

Hotel is very centrally located and within a decent walking distance to most of the local attractions. Metro station is located nearby also otherwise taxis are readily available without any problem. The hotel rooms were decent in size (we stayed in a deluxe room) and found the service to be satisfactory with pleasant / helpful staff. The gym, pool and suana are open till 11 pm. Overall a good hotel with sufficient facilities leading to an overall satisfactory experience with them. Would stay with them again.

Great location

I checked into this hotel after a big disappointment at the Marriott Tbilisi which is another 5 star hotel just down the road from here. On a contrast this hotel is 4 star and much better then the other Marriott. Its in a great location right on Freedom square and the view is great if you get a room facing the square. I would definitely come back here when I visit Tbilisi again. Only disappointment is the wifi is not free and the carpark is very expensive. Other then that it was all good.

Courtyard is modern, clean and perfectly located on Liberty Square only steps away from all tourist attractions and from the Old City. Because of the location most rooms have incredible view of the busy square and a centrally positioned column of St. George. Despite traffic on the square rooms are well sound proofed and remain quiet inside. The hotel is popular with international tour groups, conventions and other meetings so both the elevators and the dining room can get quite busy especially at breakfast time (tip: for some reason everybody likes to appear at eight am). Staff members however are cheerful and speak good English. Rooms are completely up to western standards with comfortable beds, luxurious pillows and all bathroom amenities. Two minor complaints are perhaps the lack of any help with luggage upon check-in and the charge for Internet connection, both slightly annoying. Overall the hotel is very comfortable and perfectly satisfying. It's main selling point is the unbeatable location, although if you want to experience the full last-century splendor of a beautiful grand hotel try the \"real Marriott\" fifteen minutes down the street.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel in June 2015 and apart from the high meal and drink prices enjoyed our stay...
Eat and drink outside at one of the local bars, restaurants and save lots of money..

Excellent location Hotel

The hotel has an excellent location. However, the staff are a little snobbish at times...generally co-operative. There is no Room Service and the wifi is only in the lobby. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Also no parking facility.

Recommended though not as a comfort option for the price you pay.

Clean, comfortable and in the middle of the action

This Marriott Courtyard is located in a prime location for visiting Tbilisi. It is an easy walk to the old section of town as well as Rustaveli Ave. a prime street for shopping and visiting the National Museum and National Gallery. It was also a nice walk from the Courtyard to the Funicular, sulfur baths, cable car, and the beautiful Holy Trinity Cathedral. Many restaurants, shops, wine stores, and art galleries are within a short distance from the hotel.
At check in one staff member was very cordial and welcoming and the other one may have been new but she was not so friendly. The other staff we interacted with were cordial.
The Courtyard does not offer amenities such as room service. You may eat in your room but you must bring in your own food or go to the hotel restaurant to order and take away to your room.
The room was spotless and comfortable. The mini bar is empty and only one bottle of complimentary water is provided (we were in the hotel for three nights).
I would recommend this hotel due to its location and cleanliness. I do believe the price of the hotel is very high considering the lack of amenities.

Not professional staff in hotel, I was booked room for two adults and one child and payed for tree person but when I came to hotel they told me that they have not rooms for tree people and I had too pay for extra bed..

Good Choice in Tbilisi

Good hotel in a great location (5 min walk to old city). Watch out for the breakfast if its not included in your room rate. $30 a head is way to steep for a daily breakfast buffet that offers nothing special.

Good option in Tbilisi

The Courtyard Marriott is a good option in Tbilisi. Excellent location--5 minute walk to the old city, easy to get around to and from by car. Its on Freedom Square which can be very busy and difficult to cross. Windows in the rooms are excellent at keeping out the noise. Staff was excellent in service and friendliness. Spoke several languages. Only challenge is that the pricing is high for Courtyard. Certainly the quality is higher than the typical Courtyard but still +/- $200 USD a night is more than it should be. In all, if your willing to pay the price, this is the place to stay in Tbilisi.
