Pleasant stay

Pleasant 3 night stay at La Funtana Hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Nice pool area, but there are so many great beaches nearby we didn't use it much.

Anniversary Trip

Me and wife came here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel is lovely and so is the area. It's very clean and the staff are really helpful. A big thank you to Laura who looked after us whilst we sat in the sun, bringing us drinks and snacks. A thank you to the reception staff for allowing us to keep our room longer as we had a late flight home. We loved our holiday and would recommend this hotel to everyone..

Just spent a very nice week at La Funtana hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room. Lovely powerful shower. Loved the pool. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Location is a little out of town which means it is quiet but still easy walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants of Santa Teresa di Gallura and also to the port where you can take boat tours. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

The hotel has a walking distance to the city centre, close to the supermarkets, restaurants and the beach (max 20mins walk).
The room is with a decent size, no tea/coffee machine in the room, nor a small table. Limited space to hang your clothes. Old mini-fridge, no complementary water.
Hotel offers light meal with additional pay; no option to have your own food on the table near the pool.
Kind of pricey for what is offered.

Nice hotel, Roman quarry was so-so

La Funtana was a very nice hotel. Sitting by the pool was enjoyable for a drink, breakfast, etc. The hotel is a short distance outside the city center, which was great for us as it was an easy drive to dinner places but was not in a crowded area. We went to Santa Teresa on our driving tour around Sardinia because my husband wanted to see the Roman quarry. I wasn't that impressed with the quarry. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't go to this area, but not because of the hotel. The hotel was fine. There are other things to do in the area, especially beaches.

This hotel has a great location and is very comfortable. Also has a great breakfast included and one of the best dinner restaurants in the area. Bedrooms are spacious and well kept. Highly recommended!

We had a big well furnished and quiet room with A/C, a good bed and a big bathroom. Breakfast buffet was good and the pool was the best on this trip so far. Location was a short walk to the ferries but slightly longer walk to the local beach beyond the main square (about 2.0 km). Supermarket across the street was handy. Lobby/bar area was large and tastefully decorated with interesting antique family photos. Staff were always available, friendly and helpful.

Spotless Hotel, faultless staff

Enjoyable stay at La Funtana. Staff were helpful and very polite. My request to upgrade to a room with a balcony was promptly dealt with. The hotel was very clean, towels were plentiful and bed linen sparklingly white. The pool area was pleasant with close access to the bar. La Funtana is just under 10 mins walk from the town centre but there are shops and bars along the way so is not isolated. Do not be put off by the initial impression as it is on a main, unattractive road. Only slight whinge is yet again only English tv channels were News channels., however tv not missed at all. We're here on B & B basis but didn't have breakfast which staff were very concerned about , which was nice. A great stat overall

Nice hotel, great location, really nice beach

We enjoyed our stay, hotel staff was nice, room was super clean (the sheets are even sanitized in a special way there is a paper in the room explaining the process I thought was a nice touch). my concern about the mattress being super hard was addressed by the front desk immediately they even offered to change it. I didn't because I ended up getting used to it and didn't want to trouble them but it was nice that they offered to do something. the breakfast included at the resto was nice, especially the fresh ricotta cheese with honey... delicious. the pool is really nice, the parking is convenient and easy. Overall lovely stay would go back. the town is lovely, the beach rena blanca is one of the nicest in the area. I recommend this place any time!

Our room was simple but fine for what we needed, our only issue was a very loud generator noise happening right outside our door all day every day - although we were lucky and it was turned off at night.

Good location

A pleasant hotel, very clean and well run. The breakfast was a little disappointing due to the coffee and juice coming from a dispenser. Staff were friendly and helpful. Situated conveniently for the supermarket, 10 minute stroll into the town centre or down to the harbour. Beautiful beaches just a short drive away.

Great hotel

A great hotel which was perfect for our first 3 nights in Sardinia. We enjoyed a leisurely 10-15 min walk each evening into the town where there are bars and restaurants and a piazza to people watch. The hotel had a very good selection at breakfast with cereals, eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit and ham, cheese etc. The rooms were cleaned every day and our towels changed. We had a large balcony (not sure if all the rooms do). Pool is large and there were always beds. Great beaches if you drive east or west. The supermarket opposite was vety useful for lunch supplies for our day trips. A fridge in the room was also handy. A great stay!

Very nice hotel- lovely stay

Lovely staff in the restaurant- lovely rooms- recommend top floor with balcony- there is a lift. good base to explore the beaches of the east and west coast- only problem: we had booked a room with a balcony but on arrival we were told that we had booked a room without balcony- called Expedia cost us a fortune and time to have it solved. Problem was that the advert on Expedia's website was wrong. Eventually got the balcony though! I would recommend to phone the hotel after reserving to ensure everything matches.

Lovely, clean, and welcoming hotel in great location, only about a 10 min walk from the town and port. Renting a motor bike or car is ideal if you're looking to explore the island, many up hill and winding roads, although public transit will take you to nearby beaches as well. Just make sure to check time tables ahead of time. Continental breakfast was a plus - overall very relaxing vacation with many beautiful beaches to explore- would also recommend going on some boat tours of neighbouring islands :) bon voyage

Lovely hotel in Santa Teresa di Gallura

Really nice hotel, very convenient to the centre of the town of Santa Teresa di Gallura.
Hotel is clean, quite and rooms are very spaciuos and comfortable.
Great that the hotel offers free parking, as in this area parking is hardly ever free of charge.
Hotel is a few minutes drive from the most amazing beach of Rena Bianca and the sorroundings Capo Testa e Marmorata.
Staff was very helpufull too. They do not offer dinner service but there are plenty of lovely restaurants close by.
There is a supermarket right in front of the hotel which was really convenient.

Huyendo del bullicio.

Hotel muy correcto, situado a unos 15 minutos del centro ( me desplazaba con el coche), pero nuy conveniente para huir del bullicio de Sta. Teresa, población demasiado masificada del centro. Tiene justo enfrente un súper, detalle que suele ser útil. Creo que este hotel debe acoger estudiantes de hostelería porque tenía mucho personal joven y muy pero que muy disciplinados, y llevaban la sala de desayunos a la perfección.

Sjarmerende og flott hotell

Dette er, uten tvil, det beste og mest sjarmerende hotellet vi har bodd på! Det er ikke luksus, men det er rent, det er praktisk, det er sjarmerende og flotte rom!

Personalet er svært hjelpsomme, alltid hyggelige og flinke til å gjøre ferien vår perfekt! Vi fikk låne kjølebag, fryseelementer og parasoller.

Hotellet har et lite, men godt utstyrt treningsrom som vi brukte mye. Et deilig basseng, med mange solsenger rundt.

Fantastisk frokost og igjen hyggelig service fra samtlige som jobber her. Deilig bakst, godt utvalg og nydelig kaffe fra baren.

Hyggelig rengjøringspersonell, som gjør rommet rent hver dag - veldig fornøyde med renhold.

Alle detaljer rundt på hotellet gjør det til et hotell verdt å besøke.

Beliggenhet til hotellet er også fin. En koselig og stemningsfull Santa Teresa, masse gode restauranter og en fantastisk solnedgang! Kort vei til flotte strender - anbefaler bil.

Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, gaben Tipps fürTages-Ausflüge und Hilfestellung bei der Wahl von Restaurants.
Habe mich im Hotel, an dem großzügigen Pool sehr gut umsorgt/aufgehoben gefühlt.
Fast eine familiäre Atmosphäre.

L'hotel è in un'ottima posizione che permette di raggiungere a piedi, in circa 15 minuti, sia il centro che la spiaggia di rena bianca. Gli spazi comuni sono curati e davvero ben fatti, mentre le camere avrebbero bisogno di qualche piccolo ammodernamento. Il personale è cortese ma neutro (ad es. Il check out è stato molto asettico e privo di qualsiasi interessamento circa la qualità del soggiorno). Ma la vera nota dolente per un 4 stelle è la colazione. Poca varietà, nulla di locale, croissant surgelati e diversi prodotti da discount (ad es. lo yogurt).

Ich fand die Hilfsbereitschaft, Nettigkeit der Angestellten und die Sauberkeit der Zimmer besonders erwähnenswert. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und gut aufgehoben, das Personal ist aktiv daran interessiert einem einen tollen Aufenthalt in Sardinien zu bescheren. Ich wurde vor Ort sehr gut beraten, was man an Aktivitäten machen kann, auch wurde ich sehr kompetent in Sachen Restaurants beraten. Es ist kein Luxuspalast, es ist ein ehrliches, sauberes und mit sehr viel Hingabe geführtes Hotel.

Das WLAN war sehr langsam. Ausserdem musste man alle 36 Stunden einen neuen Code an der Rezeption verlangen.
Das Frühstück war für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel knapp genügend. Ausser dem Brot war nichts frisch sondern wie aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Nur 2 Cappuccini waren inbegriffen. Peinlich für diese Kategorie.

Servicen var bra. Servitören informerade på frukosten om olika kaffesorter och var allmänt hjälpsam. Lite bristfällig engelska, menun i restaurangen på kvällen saknade vissa alternativ. Men i allmänhet ett bra betyg till hotellet.

Ett helt okej okej hotell med gångavstånd till citykärnan och stranden. Frukosten var basic, inte jättemycket att välja på men färskt bröd, croissanter och baristakaffe.

Tips! Var försiktig med plastmuggarn på hotellrummet. Behöver du ett nytt glas eller mugg kostar det 5 € (!). Helt vansinnigt och obegripligt!

Lagom stort hotell med fin pool och bra frukost som ingick i priset. Stabilt Wi-Fi även på rummet. Parkering i anslutning och affär tvärs över gatan. Kylskåp på rummet och tyst och effektiv ac på rummet. En kvarts promenad in till centrala Santa Teresa.

Hübsches Hotel in Ortsnähe

Das Hotel verfügt ner einen netten Pool an dem am Abend auch sehr nett für das Abendessen gedeckt wurde. Wenn man allerdings nicht im Hotel zu Abend isst wird man, auch als Hotelgast ignoriert und bekommt kein Getränk serviert. Nur nach mehrmaliger Intervention bekamen wir eine Flasche Wein. Die am Vorabend direkt an der Bar georderten Aperol Spritz wurden uns überhaupt nie gebracht. Das ist schade, wir glauben viele Hotelgäste würden noch gerne vor dem zu Bett gehen gemütlich einen Drink nehmen. Ist in so noch in keinem Hotel passiert.

Albergo gradevole ma con particolari difficili da perdonare ad un 4 stelle (bagno senza aspiratore né finestra, aria condizionata che funziona solo con la chiave in camera, pareti sottilissime che rendono partecipi di ogni rumore delle stanze di fianco, possibilità di cambiare i teli della piscina solo a pagamento anche dopo 8/10 gg di soggiorno, arredamento camera non consono al livello..). Tutto questo compensato da un ottimo ristorante (extra) , da una piscina molto bella, dalla buona disponibilità dei camerieri di sala. Tutto sommato buono per gli standard non altissimi di S. Teresa...

Dire tutto in poche righe è impossibile.. Splendida struttura caratteristica, ben arredata, comoda per il parcheggio,, vicinissima al centro del paese, pulita in tutti i sui angoli... Bellissima piscina dove si può cenare a lume di candela...personale gentile e professionale.. camera molto carina arredata con gusto...e soprattutto come non menzionare la straordinaria CUCINA servita da persone impeccabili...Ho usufruito di una mezza pensione di alta cucina a cinque stelle...bravi ragazzi voglio consigliate questo posto a tutti quelli che hanno voglia di passare una gradevolissima vacanza...Un abbraccio a tutti voi spero di tornare presto... trevligt litet hotell, frukosten var mycket bra jämfört med hur det ofta är på liknande hotell. Vi åt även en kväll på hotellet och det var också mycket bra. Vettig prisnivå. Fördel med hyrbil om man bor i denna del av Sardinien, finns mycket att upptäcka.

Blev glatt överraskad av detta hotel. Perfekt läge i underbara Santa Theresa. Supermarket på andra sidan vägen (40m).promenad avstånd till restauranger (1km max). Vi gick till allt när vi bodde på detta hotell. Rymlig balkong.Det negativa var sparsam frukost, men äter sig absolut mätt men inget wow. Lyhörda rum.kommer absolut rekommendera detta för andra. Santa Teresa är en unik pittoresk by med både strand, sevärdheter och restauranger.

Clean and elegant, very good food, hotel staff is very nice and helpful! I would recommend this hotel to friends :)
Hotel molto elegante e pulito; con la mezza pensione abbiamo potuto gustare tutte le sere un menù diverso e molto buono (molto raffinato)! Nota personale: i dessert sono spettacolari! Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile; Molto bello il fatto che l'hotel accolga anche gli animali... Paloma, la cagnolina di casa, era la più carina!
La posizione è buona, in 15 minuti a piedi si raggiunge la Rena bianca (bella ma affollata), in bus invece (fermata a 5-7 minuti a piedi) si raggiunge Capo Testa o la Marmorata. Molto belle! In 10-15 minuti si raggiunge il porto da dove si può partire in gita in barca per l'Arcipelago della Maddalena (9.00-17.00, 50€, pranzo incluso), da fare!
