The orginial room was smoking and the front desk man that check me in was awesome. He moved to a new room. Thank you.

The room in 317 the couch was dirty and the mattress needs to be changed out. I noticed a lot of coffee or nasty brown spots through the room. The light in the bathroom needs to be changed.

The woman who handled breakfast was an absolute gem. Everything else was only average. Walls were paper thin, we could hear guests TVs all night long. Hotel was obviously short staffed (as mentioned by the woman who checked us in.

Shower water pressure was very low, bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine and sink had silicone around the rim that looked like it was done by a 6-year old. Pool water was cloudy and completely still (I thought pools had to have circulation?). I didn't swim because of how it looked. Breakfast was very basic and didn't have toast (just english muffins). Otherwise employees were very nice and room was OK.

The hotel was satisfactory, however were surpised by am additional charge. When checking in we were told there was an addition $12 daily charge for parking. We were snarkingly told by staff \"it was on the website\". I never thought to look because I never have been charged before in a small suburban area before at that hotel level. The hotel is location is attached to a shopping center. The lot was unsecured, no fencing, no cameras throughout and signs all over stating they had no liability. We were so tempted to just move our vehicle to the home store parking lot a few feet away!

Kai was gracious. It is Pet Friendly, but the pet fee is almost as much as the room fee. Location is nearly perfect. Rooms are comfortable. We did have a few power outages, but thermostats were programmed and I have a battery backup for the sound machine.

I'll be staying at the Fairfield again!!

I was in town for my 50th high school reunion, and the Fairfield Inn was a great place to stay. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and handed a candy bar and water, which were just perfect after a long drive and greatly appreciated. My room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast and the coffee were good, and I had an opportunity to chat with some of my classmates who were also staying at the Fairfield Inn. They too enjoyed their stay here. The Fairfield Inn will be one of my top places to stay. It has a warm and homey feeling which so many do not.

The electricity went out..they didn’t have a generator.There was no Wi-Fi for a day. I was charged a parking fee for a car that I didn’t have or even rented.My charges weren’t explained.Mold and mildew smell in my room in which I was told that the air conditioner was awaiting parts. I would not recommend to anyone and I regret my stay there and should have went somewhere else on the first night.A big disappointment to my trip.

When I went to Expedia looking for pet friendly hotels the charge was not listed. I used to pay 75. So my jaw dropped when I was charged 110.00. It is not like we are in Palm Springs here. This is just a hotel next to a mall and lots of traffic. Our dog is cleaner than some people and never has accidents.

The hotel was the closest hotel to the Avalon Grand Resort. For being in a Home Depot parking lot it’s conveniently located by food and coffee with plenty of parking. Amenities were clean for lack of staffing. Needs some updating due as outlets with USB’s were broken or not working in room. Overall would stay there again.

Upon stepping off the elevator to the second floor there was an awful stench. The room smelled musty and awful. The carpet was slightly damp in our room as well. Was told I would have a credit on my stay but apparently that didn’t happen. There was also an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke on the second floor near the stairwell. Will not be back to this facility.

It seems like there is hardly ever a person at the front desk. Maybe you should consider hiring other people to do some of the side work without cutting hours or pay for the customer service at the front.

Added extra charges

This place added $10 per night per car to park in their own parking lot. Something not mentioned prior to booking. Cost me an extra $40 for the 2 nights. Everything else was good. Staff was very friendly but this added parking charge on the back end at check out really bothers me. Dont give me a total price and then add crap. We will not stay there again like we planned to in march.

Check in was easy and smooth and the friendly man at the counter gave us advice on where to go for dinner. The room was very nice and clean as was the lobby. There was an elevator so getting up to the 3rd floor was easy. The shower was nice, but got some water on the floor outside of it, which is why I only gave condition a 4. The beds were comfortable and the room had what we needed. The breakfast was really nice with cooked oatmeal with lots of natural fixings including non-dairy milk as an option, the coffee also had silk oat milk creamer as well as dairy creamers, which I really appreciated. There was a waffle maker and hot eggs that were cooked that morning and their paper plates and bowls were paper or cardboard (eco-friendly)! As well as your typical cold cereals and bread, bagels, etc.

The light in the bathroom kept flickering on and off. The toilet kept running as well. The refrigerator was too small (in my opinion). There was nowhere to sit outside, so we took our folding chairs over towards the small pond and sat there in the evening and listened to music and talked. If there was an area for sitting, such as a bench or a small pavilion, that would be ideal. Other than that the area was convenient for shopping and dining.

Awesome experience at Fairfield, Warren, Ohio

We arrived earlier than anticipated. Ty was extremely helpful in getting us into a room as quickly as possible! He was professional, courteous and friendly. Our room was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the pool as temperatures were high. The only drawback was that there was not a covered smoking area. I realize the hotel is smokeless but it would have been nice to see more accommodation outside (maybe in the back of hotel) for hugest who indulge. Otherwise, our stay was perfect.

My stay was cool! I was not happy about the parking fee which was 10.00 a night!!! It’s sad that Marriott would do that to people when the cost of the room is already pricey! The breakfast was good and the staff were amazing!! The lady cooking breakfast was so sweet each day and Heather which was a front desk manager was the BEST!! She was so helpful and I really appreciate her! I did not like that the room smelled like doggy when we first got in there and the fact that you have to ask for your room to be cleaned! Even after I asked, they still did not clean it to my liking..they just emptied the trash and gave fresh towels! Other than that, my stay was pleasant!! I would return again!

I was traveling with my 2 small dogs, and being on the ground floor, close to a side entrance that opened to a large grassy area for walking them made my stay easier. I appreciated that there was a trash bin next to the side entrance. I'll definitely be staying here again.
