The room was very clean, I like the wood floors in room and not carpet. They are working on parts of the hotel so other parts, the stairs weren’t great. The pool was closed for painting. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was OK, typical free breakfast food.

From a start to finish everything about this hotel was perfect. The staff including the front desk nightmare who I believe his name is John, and I’m so sorry that I forgot it. He is amazing. Did everything he could to make our stay completely wonderful and stress-free. We booked with no problem, he was knowledgeable, he was friendly, he was more than wonderful and the hotel was a comfortable and lovely stay. 10 of 10. Totally recommend.

All the above! Excellent place. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed. I choose a hotel based on whether theres an indoor pool, location, and price. The pool is therapeutic especially since i was traveling due to my sister being in ICU, so it was a huge disappointment to find out the pool was not open for use.

Room 208 has a floor level problem by the tv in the main bedroom area.
It drops off about 2 to 3 inches going to the wall between 208 and 210.
I think u have foundation problems in the pool area.
U need a structural engineer to verify.

Staff here were very friendly so that was great. Property was abit run down, wall paper falling off the walls, bathroom sink wasn’t draining so we were moved to another room. Both rooms had terrible wind noise from the windows that I’m assuming have bad seals. The fridge leaked water all over the floor in the room we were moved to. We specifically booked at this hotel to use the pool which upon arrival found out the heater was broken. No offer for compensation considering the amenities were subpar. Room was clean though and like I said the staff were very friendly. When I told them the fridge had leaked I got the impression they have been doing the best they can with this location.

Room was clean, bed & pillows comfortable. Not busy but due to flight I got there early, they wanted me to pay to get into my room 2 hours early. I waited in the lobby. At 1 hour prior to check in time they let another couple check in but didn’t have them pay. I spoke up, women wasn’t nice but then let me have my room 25 minutes later. Really? I come to the Youngstown area often but I will be looking for another hotel because of this.

Good for a quick overnight

Room was clean and little older than expected. I thought it should at least have an USB port. No lotion to put on after shower. Also when checking in the young lady was not really nice. She did her job and that was it. Also I had to ask for a water later, the gentleman wasn't sure they had any. Breakfast time was fine, except they were out of bacon. Coffee was very weak when they had it, again ran out.

Traveled most of the day, when we arrived only an hour before established check-in time, was told unless we paid an early check-in fee of $25 we needed to wait an hour. Other than an oceanfront beach resort, we were never turned away from checking in a bit early.

Our room was nice and so was the breakfast. I expected more though, from a higher priced hotel. I booked 4 rooms for us, our children and grandchildren. We had a wedding to go to so I called to ask if we could check in a little early to get dressed before the wedding after traveling all day. The lady was super nice and said no problem - she will make a note on our account. Well, when we got there, they were glad to let us check in early as long as we paid a $25 fee per room. There was no mention of a fee when I called in advance. Upon check in I also learned that the pool doesn't open until 11am (which conveniently is also check-out time). One of the major reasons I picked this hotel was for the pool time with my grandkids. We planned to swim in the morning before we got back in the car for a long drive. No such luck. The fitness center was also closed. The door to my son's room wouldn't work correctly so he was \"upgraded\" to a suite. Unfortunately both the room and bathroom doors to the suite had to be lifted to close correctly - and there was a weird section of the room that was lower than the rest like the building was coming apart.
I'm not normally a complainer but I splurged on this hotel to have something really nice for our family and it didn't fit the bill. When my husband complained at check-out they did refund the $25 but over-all I was disappointed.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! I was on a road trip back from Chicago & needed a place to sleep for the night. Finding this room for under $100 was the best discovery! The room was clean, spacious and most importantly, the king size bed was a dream to sleep on! I will definitely plan to stay here on my future trips.

My husband & I needed to work on a rental property in Niles for approximately 4 days. I chose this hotel due to proximity and price. Check-in staff member was very gracious and worked with me to find a room on the 1st floor. The room itself was quite spacious. King bed was very comfortable. Room had a couch w/ ottaman that was handy when watching TV. Location of room was great, as it was near a sude entrance door - very convenient. Breakfast was more than expected.
The only negatives I found were the bathtub was slippery; the wall paper in the bath had started to peal; the desk chair did not have casters which made it very hard to move; and there was no yogurt offered at breakfast. All small things.

The moment the door creaked open, the air rolled out in a wave of decay — thick, damp, and sour. It carried the musk of mold clinging to peeling wallpaper, the ghost of cigarette smoke soaked deep into the carpet, and the faint, sweet rot of something long forgotten. It was the smell of a place that had given up on being clean decades ago, a weary odor that seemed to seep into your clothes, your hair, even your thoughts. Upgrade this place the carpet was dirty as all hell!!!!
