1) Walking down the path from the street to the hotel, the garbage bin area is filthy/smelly and you have to walk right past it. A small fence or something to hide it would help the impression of the hotel
2) Our room was very nice, but there was a constant sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom. That smell tarnished all the nice aspects of the room
3) On a positive note, the breakfast was wonderful, and we also had a lovely dinner in the dining room

A tired resort in a good location

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. We booked a sea view room, which did have a sea view out of a high, tiny window - so if you are staying here, save your money and book a less expensive room. The WiFi did not work in the room - you had to be in the lobby or outside of the room. The hot water in the shower was hit or miss - mostly miss. The breakfast that was. Included was very nice and our server there was the friendliest/best part of this hotel.

It’s a great place to stay, the rooms are spacious and hotel very clean. We had an issue with the AC but they were unable to fix the rattling noise because it was too late at night to call a technician. However they compensated us for this inconvenience, therefore customer service was very good. I would stay here again.

The property overall is kept in good condition. Some of the mini fridge in the room should be updated. The room and bathroom were kept nice and clean, the towels were cleans. We did enjoy the small details, roll up towels, disposable slipper and hair cap. We got a window facing the ocean that was really neat. The continental breakfast Italian style was generous, less than 10 min walk to the lower piazza in the historic center, we would highly recommend. The only thing there is a construction near by for another hotel the noise was minimal in our opinion they work from 8 am to 4 pm. Which was the time we were out of our room anyway. We would highly recommend and we would stay here again.

Give Ostuni some love!

Conveniently located right outside of the city walls, with ample parking. A walking path is right around the corner to walk up into the city without being exposed to traffic. Clean and comfortable, very welcoming. And enjoy the sunset on their private terrace.

Situated just on the outskirts of the old town of Ostuni with free parking and easy walking to the main areas. Room was nice with a comfortable bed. Lovely rooftop area where you could have a drink and admire the lovely views. Breakfast a little limited and no fruit or hot food available but on the whole a nice stay. Left a watch charger behind and hotel kindly let us know so we could go back and retrieve it.

Ideal location a short walk into the historic centre. Excellent breakfast (bread could have been better). Anyone staying more than one night (in which case I assume you will want to eat in the centre) should certainly try the restaurant. Excellent and much better value than restaurants in town.
Hotel has rooftop terrace with views all around, and range other terraces. Free parking, plenty of space

Breakfast was not a 4 star experience although generally there was plenty to eat there was not enough attention to detail. There was bacon and scrambled egg but this was generally cold.

We stayed at Relais Sant'Eligio Hotel for 4 nights in September.
This is a quality hotel set its own grounds, just outside Ostuni old town. Our room was clean, tidy & well furnished. There was an air of calm & quiet. Reception was friendly, helpful & spoke English.
There was a good choice at breakfast & coffee was prepared to order.
There was an on-site free car park.
The hotel is a good base for touring the area by car (or bicycle).
Ostuni train station for the Bari < > Brindisi line is 10 minutes away by taxi.
The roof-top terrace provides a superb view of the hilltop town
& underlines that a climb is required to reach the town centre.
Go straight on at the Carmine Church (or turn left if you like a steeper climb).
We enjoyed our stay here, there were no problems & so we recommend this hotel to you.

We were looking for a hotel that would be our 'base' during our tour of Puglia and we picked the right one. Ostuni was our absolute favorite city and this hotel is just a short walk from the center. There are plenty of more expensive hotels where you could get more amenities, but we liked the feel of this place. The staff was great, the location couldn't be beat and the rooms were comfortable. We'd definitely return.

This is at the very top end of my memory for a hotel that seems to be very loved by the people running it. Everywhere is spotless, and smells spotless. All day I saw staff sweeping mopping painting. The attention to detail here is huge. Good parking space for cars, lots of seating and umbrellas to sit outside and read or enjoy a drink from the hotel bar each evening. The breakfast room is an amazing looking room and the spread of food was fantastic. A small criticism is the common Italian practice of no tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. Even a common area set up with this function for people to use during the day would be good. There is a small mini fridge in room which was good. The hotel is about a 10 minute good uphill walk into town. Good exercise to walk off the pizzas and gelato but if you have any mobility issues this might not be the hotel for you. I did see the little 3 wheeled buggy taxis picking up people and dropping off prople so this is an option. The staff were extremely helpful and interesting and we would highly recommend this hotel in Ostuni.

Great hotel in the perfect location for both exploring Ostuni and getting out of town with ease and they have free parking. Their restaurant was closed because it’s off season so Abes recommended one a short distance away called La Risacca. The first night we went there for the convenience but went back every night because of the food and the people. We left there friends. Great recommendation. Thank you Antonio and Patrizia.

Great location for exploring Ostuni

This hotel is lovely. In every way, we would rate it highly: breakfast, staff, cleanliness, location, view from the room, etc. But we never had a good night's sleep over our four nights there because: our room was strangely hot (not on the sunny side of the building), and the hotel had turned off the cooling system for the year. When we opened windows and door to get some cool air, mosquistoes came in; and we were tortured every night and ended up peppered with bites.

We wished there had been screens on the windows.

It was an easy, though uphill, walk into Ostuni's old town and many other Puglian destinations are nearby.

Lovely old building beautifully restored and furnished. From our room we had views of the sea a few miles away across fields and fields of olive trees. The old part of Ostuni is only about 5 or 10 min walk. No pool but several lovely terraces to sit out in, with superb views of the old town. The staff were very helpful.

A nice place to stay within fairly easy walking distance of the old town. Only real disappointment was that the restaurant was shut. Receptionist very helpful provided you could speak Italian or French. Room comfortable with great view of the old town on one side and the sea and coastal area on the other.

Room was clean and shower was good albeit both a little small. View was lovely. Hotel is only 5 mins walk uphill from centre but far away enough to be away from the noise which really wasn't a constant but just when live music was played in the square. Rooftop terrace was really lovely. Some sun loungers would be welcome up there rather than just tables and chairs. Breakfast was good and typical of southern italy. Overall the hotel itself would be a 4 star, however, the rooms were more 3 star.

Looking for a great Italian break- consider Ostuni

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful, coped with our poor Italian, gave directions, helped us print off boarding passes and were all pleasant and polite. Breakfast had plentiful range of food. The hotel is just outside the main town, so not far to sites, bars and restaurants. Ostuni is a great centre to travel both inland and to the coast. We would recommend the hotel and the area of Puglia for a great holiday. Impressionante!

It's Relays is very beautiful inside. It was an old marketplace anD the breakfast room is gorgeous with old arches etc. The hotel is well kept. There is a sundeck on the roof. Great place to order a bottle of wine and admire the city above plus look out to the ocean. Best shower we had yet. The lady at the desk could not have been nicer. She laid out place around for us to visit by car. It is a short walk up the hill to the plaza at the base of Cathedral street. Ostuni is a great town to visit

The hotel was initially quite hard to find by car. The hotel has good parking and is a 10 minute walk from the centre of the old town. Our room had a nice view out towards the sea, 5-10 Kilometres away. There is a roof terrace which gives a 360 degree view of the sea and the old town. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were helpful and obliging. Breakfast was OK continental. There respondents have complained about the size of the room, ours was OK, not large but sufficient for our requirements. The restaurant was not open, but there are restaurants in the town. Wifi worked OK.

A gem in Puglia, which could be much improved. Good reception. Room a bit outdated and with uncomfortable pillows. The rest was good. Very good and varied breakfast in a beautiful and charming setting. The rooftop is incredible. The best view of Ostuni. It was closed and we opened our own wine. It was an incredible sunset. Nearby parking included and only a 5-minute walk from the historic center. I really enjoyed the stay although the hotel was a bit outdated.

Mooie locatie met geweldig uitzicht op het oude centrum. Helaas wordt er boven op het terras niets geserveerd en is het een beetje kil op het terras.
Op de kamer geen koffie faciliteit en je kan ook niet eerder dan half 8 koffie krijgen bij het ontbijt. Dus voor de vroege vogels geen koffie in de ochtend. Verder mooi hotel.
