A great little gem. I always stay here when I am in the area. It is in a great location easily accessed from the 400 hwy and the parking lot is big enough that I have never had trouble maneuvering with a 18’ trailer.
It has a great breakfast and free coffee so you can grad a quick refill before you start your day.
The staff are also very polite and accommodating when asked.

The drain in the bathtub was completely clogged. As in the following morning the water from my shower was still there. Normally, it takes some time for a clog to get this bad unless you shove a rat into the drain. Is it possible that i was the first person to signal this to the staff??

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable with all abt the property. Beside the occasional homeless person rummaging through the garage, the property was well maintained and clean. I would recommend and stay again. Thank you.

Location is convenient. Beds are decent. Some staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We were staying one week and needed to work on our laptop and requested an extra chair in our room. The immediate response was unfriendly and a hard “no.” Decor is cold and uninviting (cold grey paint). Painting over mouldy caulking and mouldy paint is just lipstick on a pig.

The front desk staff were exceptional. They were able to accommodate our last minute request and were so helpful.
The staff were very pleasant, nice clean rooms, the kids had a blast in the pool. Very great experience for our boys soccer team and the stay at this hotel .

Breakfast was standard and yummy. Tidy area and comfy seating. Cleanliness: rooms smelled nice, bathrooms were clean, pool deck was tidy and clean, spilled juice in the stairwell wasn't cleaned up from the night before when we walked past it the next morning (but there was a wet floor sign). Breakfast was all put away but there were still crumbs and mess under the tables. No towels in the swimming area, but they brought the exact amount we would need when we called to ask. When we requested, they said they had no adjoining rooms... but then we were given adjoining rooms. They say they have all essential toiletries but this is the first hotel I've been to that doesn't have toothbrushes. The decor in the rooms was unique and modern and the brick wall gave a really nice touch. Beds were comfy, sheets clean. Noise travels a lot in this hotel so you may want earplugs if that's an issue. Window view on the first floor was just the parking lot but we didn't mind. Again, the pool was nice, fairly shallow so great for kids.

The room was fairly clean. There was a dust web on the ceiling. The room was large. There was only one chair in the room. The windows in the lobby and dining area were streaky. The outside of the property needed to mowed and garbage picked up. The trees on the property needs to be maintained. The breakfast area was clean and good. The syrup for the waffles was light syrup which is like water. Should have provided a choice of regular syrup or light syrup. The location just off the highway was great.

Thin walls as you could hear everything outside and the hallway. I asked at front desk for spare toothpaste as I forgot to pack but they don’t keep a spare supply. Other hotels I’ve stayed at provide this service, just a nice touch. Breakfast smelled good but didn’t have enough time to eat. Will not be returning to this property.

The hotel and the amenities were acceptable but more basic than I would expect for the price it charges. The bathroom needs upgrading immediately. Flaky paintwork.
The pool is great.
The breakfast is very basic and the seating area is very small and again basic.
I would not choose this particular hotel again.
The reception staff are helpful but the entire property needs upgrading.

Good hotel for the cost. It is dated and could use some upgrades. Pool could be just a tad bit warmer but still good. Bathtub is def not usable for a bath unless you’re a child just due to the small size and how low it is, again not horrible just giving an honest review. Breakfast was decent also. Overall would stay again, just would be great to see it upgraded and more modern.

The place is overall ok, our room smelled clean and fresh. The hallways however had a funky smell. The pool felt gross and needs some upkeep and the tiles need some cleaning or just to be redone. We went in and immediately felt like leaving, so we did. Don’t book this if you’re looking for an upscale hotel.

Great location for restaurants and coffee shops, the morning breakfast was more than enough. Close access to the 400 which makes it easier for an out of towner not used to Barrie.

I would stay again but ask for a room away from the parking lot.

Case in point, a \"delivery guy\" delivers to wrong unit, they take no part in saying then even allowed him in even though on the way they were chatting with him and he said thanks. Absolutely ignorant person. Too bad cause rest of the we're friendly.

The heaters were turned off in the room when we checked in and it took 2 hours to reach room temperature. The lighting in the room was horrible bright white LED. Very hard on the eyes and made it impossible to relax.

This was my worst 2 nights in a Travelodge. Ive stayed at multiple, in other areas, all of those ones were a much higher standard. This one is just old and noisy. If you are looking for quiet and rest, DONT STAY HERE! They bombard you with texts about their \"quiet time\" but NOTHING is quiet. Windows walls and doors all lack soundproofing. You can hear drunk people smoking and carrying on in the parking lot at all hours. People above you, you will hear every foot step. You'll hear people in other rooms and in the hall like you were right beside them. We were woken up by drunk people across the hall at 1:30am and when i finally said something to them theyd woken my whole family. Then 10 mins later someone tried pounding on my door several times, when i went to look, it was one of the drunk people going back across the hall. After 2 am a staff member finally came out to say something and woke up several more people. It was ridiculous. I feel like i brought my kids to stay in a slum except im expected to pay regular hotel prices for it. Absolutely horrible experience.

There were young people in the hall right outside the bedroom yelling and talking loud, dragging something down the hall. It is so disruptive and we never got any sleep. I don't know why management did not hear this. We didn't want to open out door and say something because we figured they were drunk or high on something. Very disappointing.
