We stayed in one of the cottages during August. Right on a lake, easy to find and convenient to fantastic wineries and restaurants. The proprietors are also lovely and helpful.

The only minor negative, no drinking water supplied for taking medication or middle of the night drink when you get up with a thirst .

Beautiful location close to some great wineries. The cottage was very cosy and well presented. Our only complaint being the bed was quite small, but overall a very enjoyable stay with great communication from management. Really appreciated the little touches like a stocked fridge and a free bottle of wine in the room. We'd definitely come back.

Only the best quality and service from Stonewell Cottages!! I stayed with my husband for a long weekend in the Spa Haven 2 cottage and it was a fantastic experience. Every detail had been thought of from soft & fluffy bath robes, daily wood stocked for the fireplace, to amazing local produce for breakfasts and snacks (and heaps of it!!) ans duck-feeding pellets :) :) The service we received was brilliant too, letting us arrive a couple of hours early and accommodating for dietary requirements. Will definitely be coming back, what a beautiful, relaxing escape!!

My wife and I stayed at Cupids for 3 nights in March this year. The stay celebrated our birthdays and 40th wedding anniversary. We had stayed previously at both cottages some years ago. I can only comment on Cupids on this occasion which we found to be excellent as expected from our last visit. Needed a couple of days away from the hustle and bustle with my other half and found this little gem online. Internet site extremely easy to navigate and use. A picturesque drive to Tanunda. We stayed in 'Spa Retreat 2' which overlooked a tranquil lake. The recently renovated cottage was very welcoming and beautifully clean - perfect for the two of us. Ample complimentary breakfast and other little complimentary treats were sprinkled around the cottage (included a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers and some chocolates). Will be recommending this to my friends AND will be heading back there again.

Cupid's cottage is very private, including own driveway. The breakfast provisions were amazing with far more than what was necessary but it was terrific to have so much choice. Super comfy bed, excellent shower,sumptuous spa. My favourite feature was the wine rack where you can select (& pay for) your own local wines. Courtesy phone call from Tina halfway through our stay was another lovely touch. Highly recommend.

Wonderful location set in the middle of the vineyards. Close to some of the best wineries in the Barossa. The accommodation is beautiful and perfect for a romantic weekend away. Would love to come again. The food supplied is tasty and a few extra treats were a surprise.

Location is great amongst the vines, being out of town was quiet, but too far to walk in for dinner. Room is great, food provided was first class, coffee machine was handy, wifi and Netflix on the tv was a bonus.

Special little hideaway
We cannot wait to go back. From the we arrived at the cottage we feel in love. We walked in and found the cottage to feel just like home. The fridge was full of breakfast supplies, there was plenty of coffee and tea and a beautiful bottle of Shiraz. We loved being welcomed by the ducks and even enjoyed a paddle in the row boat on the dam. We also had the best night sleep on the most amazingly comfortable bed. It was definitely worth every cent and highly recommend it to all who want to enjoy the Barossa but want the privacy and comfort of your own little hideway.

This is a wonderful place to stay to experience the Barossa. The cottage is really nicely appointed and a very relaxing location right in the heart of the Vineyard. The really nice breakfast provisions and complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates were much appreciated.

5 Star Cottage with Superb Amenities
We stayed in Hideaway Cottage. A Beautiful, cosy cottage with rustic atmosphere! Wonderful breakfast platter included. Also homemade cookies, local fudge, a decanter of port, a bottle of Barossa wine to enjoy in front of the wood fire. Candles and bubble bath in the bathroom to enjoy a spa bath. Nespresso machine, local tea and cheese. Cozy bathrobes, a selection of DVDs, comfortable furniture and top of the line appliances. The cottage has beautiful views from every window; it is built between a vineyard and a large pond complete with rowboat and island gazebo for guest use. The cottage and atmosphere is so enjoyable we had a difficult time leaving it to explore the Barossa Valley. We loved every minute and wished that we could have stayed longer.
