Das Hotel ist ok, das Personal freundlich, das Zimmer sehr sauber. Im Frühstücksraum, da sehr voll, liess die Organisation etwas zu wünschen übrig, z.B. zeitweise kein Brot oder Brötchen, kein heisses Wasser für Tee u.a.. In unserem Zimmer war, auch bei geschlossenen Fenster, Verkehrslärm zu hören. Gummierte Unterlagen unter den Bettlaken sind ein Übel.

Ich hatte ein First-Class-Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung reserviert. Hier waren Verdunkelungsvorhänge versprochen. Leider schlief ich sehr schlecht aufgrund der Tatsache, dass diese Vorhänge eben nicht komplett abdunkeln. Es schien das Licht vom Parkplatz ins Zimmer, da bin ich sehr empfindlich. Bitte die Vorhänge durch echte blickdichte Vorhänge austauschen.
Der Wellness-Bereich war genial, mit verschiedenen Massagedüsen und Gegenstromanlage sowie Whirlpool, Dampfbad und Sauna.
Was gar nicht geht: Warme Küche laut Webseite bis 21:30 Uhr und Restaurant geöffnet bis 23 Uhr. Warum kann ich mir dann um 21:38 Uhr keine Nachspeise bestellen? Für ein Eis braucht man keine Kochgerätschaften!
Auch unpassend ist, dass der Geldbetrag fürs Zimmer über hotels.com eingezogen wird und das Hotel dann keine Rechnung ausstellt. Als Geschäftsreisender benötigt man eine Rechnung des Hotels mit ausgewiesener Mehrwertsteuer. Ich habe schon viele Hotels über hotels.com gebucht und es war kein Problem, das Zimmer vor Ort zu bezahlen und eine Rechnung zu bekommen. Da ich damit großen Ärger bei der Monatsabrechnung haben werde, kann ich bei Ihnen nicht mehr übernachten. Schade!

Wir hatten drei drei Nächte incl. Frühstück im Ostfriesenhof gebucht. Wir sind schon bei der Anreise in der Rezeption sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Überhaut das ganze Personal war sehr freundlich bis zu unserer,Abreise gewesen.

Die Rezeptionistin und das Restaurantpersonal, inklusive der hervorragenden Praktikantin verdienen alle das Prädikat Ausgezeichnet!
Leider war der Spa-Bereich noch nicht wegen Renovierung freigegeben, aber ansonsten ist dieses Hotel immer eine Reise wert. Nicht zu vergessen das ebenfalls hervorragende Frühstück mit ebenfalls sehr freundlichem Personal , wie immer bei unseren jährlichen Besuchen.

Wir waren erneut in dem Hotel Ostfriesen-Hof. Leider war der Schwimmbereich geschlossen. Gerade dies war aber ein besonderes Highlight des Hotels. Auch war der Service im Restaurant zT unfreundlich. Das Essen war dafür erneut sehr lecker.

Kurzurlaub in Leer - gerne wieder
Kurzreise in Leer, Hotel Ostfriesenhof. Ein sehr schönes Hotel, mit wirklich sehr zuvorkommendem und freundlichem Personal, dass muss man wirklich betonen!
Wie so oft fällt das Urteil jedoch leider negativ aus, wenn der 1. Eindruck nicht passt. Auf dem Weg zum Zimmer durch das Treppenhaus lagen am Fenster viele tote Fliegen - die kamen sicherlich nicht von 1 oder 2 Tagen nichtputzen, das Balkongitter war voller Staub, Spinnweben und Pollen und lud somit nicht ein, dort sich hinzusetzen. Unser Zimmer war von der Einrichtung her total veraltet, dunkel und einfach renovierungsbedürftig - bis auf das Bad, das noch ziemlich neu aussah. Wie so oft fällt das Urteil jedoch leider negativ aus, wenn der 1. Eindruck nicht passt. Auf dem Weg zum Zimmer durch das Treppenhaus lagen am Fenster viele tote Fliegen - die kamen sicherlich nicht von 1 oder 2 Tagen nichtputzen, das Balkongitter war voller Staub, Spinnweben und Pollen und lud somit nicht ein, dort sich hinzusetzen. Unser Zimmer war von der Einrichtung her total veraltet, dunkel und einfach renovierungsbedürftig - bis auf das Bad, das noch ziemlich neu aussah.
