The Hotel was very attractive however there were several shortcomings. The rooms boasted of sound proofing, but the music was audible whist in the rooms. We were told that the music continued at least until midnight possibly later if the bar was busy.
Breakfast was not good at all. There were lots of little dishes of dips but nothing substantial. The cheese that was offered has been cut much earlier and had dried out. Various olives (some of which looked dried out) and tapinade, with bread jam and 1 fried eggs. There was NO COFFEE or Tea offered as standard (pay extra), No omlettes unless you paid extra.
One of our party had some dietary requirements, (gluten Free and diary free) so some of things were not suitable for them.
The attitude of the staff was a couldn't care less approach 'this is what you get - limp it or leave it'

The property was amazing. Right in heart of historic town. We loved everything about it except the loud music at night. We had a room overlooking pool, which was beautiful but didn’t know about the bar area there every night was loud music in that area until like 1 in the morning

The location beside a night club is really the only downfall. Possibly you could ask for a room not next to the night club. You cannot even watch tv and definitely cannot sleep until 1:00 when the music stops. Maybe that’s not too late for some people. Ear plugs are provided. There is also music in the hotel around the pool until midnight but we didn’t hear that due to our night club music.
Aside from the noise everything else was wonderful. The gentleman at check in was most welcoming and helpful. And another person helped us park our car. Beds and bedding was wonderful. Clean bathrooms. 2 water bottles. Wifi was weak. Turkish Breakfast was delicious and beautifully situation around the pool area. Close to harbour, Hadrians gate and much more. Everything is walkable and close.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The staff are friendly and room comfortable but the noise at night is too insanely loud, we asked to change rooms they said no we asked to turn it down they said no and we asked to moved elsewhere they said no. The bed was shaking there no sound proofing and no escape , we had tours booked at 6am no sleep until 3am we had to pay to change hotels and they refused a refund to the nights we were not there even though we left before checkout and they can sell the room. BE WARNED you will not sleep if you stay also no choice at breakfast and coffee and juice is extra charge ( don't laugh )

The location was extremely good. House keeping 5 star, all staff were very friendly. Hotel was very nice and clean.i really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the only negative would be the noise in the evening, we are in the old town surrounded with bars and restaurant live music. I will stay here again.

A very nice hotel in the old center of Antalya. But the many stairs are a problem for elderly people. The loud music in the evening spoiled the dinner in some way, and particularly during the night.

Great 2 night stay at Mediterra Art hotel, the property is in the centre of the old town , and has free parking, although the drive in and out is tight , the Bell boy was very helpful.
Breakfast was amazing, I have been visiting Tirkey for years but not experienced this before, they bring the small boles of food to your table , lovely. I highly recommend the restaurant at night with Turkish dancing , many locals eat here.

The property is located in the beautiful old town of Kaleici which has many ancient artefacts surrounding it. Scenic and picturesque.
The downside to the property was the noise coming from the street below. We were in room 522 and you would not think it had windows as we hear all the revellers from 1 am through to 5 am.
This hotel certainly would not suit a young family or older couple.
I would book again but it would have to be with a room away from the streets.

Nice hotel, but awful experience. Noise is unbelievable. First night out room was 20 feet from a nightclub and 1 foot from main road noise all night was terrible. We moved rooms on day 2. Noise from street outside room and from inside hotel was unbearable. Staff not helpful and wouldn't care less. Poor breakfast - no choice.

Disappointing stay at Mediterra Art Hotel

We stayed at Mediterra Art Hotel from September 12th to 15th. I booked the largest and most expensive room based on the hotel’s descriptions and photos, expecting a special experience for my wife and me, as we rarely see each other due to our work locations.

From check-in, the stay was disappointing. The manager insisted on explaining the facilities in Russian, ignoring my requests for English. The room smelled of smoke despite being non-smoking, was not soundproof as advertised, and was old and worn, with mold around the bathtub. Loud music from a nearby nightclub played until 1:00 AM, making sleep impossible.

Though the hotel claims to be adults-only, we were woken early by children screaming. When I complained about the room, the staff said the photos online were just for illustration and didn’t reflect the actual rooms. Breakfast was also poor, with limited options like instant coffee and vegetables.

The hotel advertises beach facilities, but they don't have one. Instead, they refer you to a private beach where you have to pay, which was overcrowded, with queues and a limited number of people allowed.

Overall, our stay was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed for 1 night in a small room. It was great for the price. The property is set up around a central courtyard and pool. A traditional trio played into the evening with a surprise belly dancer to top it off. Breakfast was wonderful. The surroundings inside and out were fab.A terrific choice!

Our stay at this hotel was okay. The staff were a little lazy, unwelcoming and indifferent towards the guests. They were not very helpful and on occasion that you ask for help, they would respond \"I don't know\" and/or \"we don't have it\". Seemed like they were making excuses just to avoid the guest's inquires. On 2 occasions we proved that 2 of the staff had the item we were requesting. Which resulted in the negative feeling towards my partner and I.

The breakfast was okay but only if you don't ask for anything extra. Even if you ask for a tooth pick they will charge you and arm and a leg for it. They do not provide even the simplest necessity which is water, during breakfast.

The pool is not really functional, it is not very clean or user friendly. There is no live music like they advertised. If you are going out then there are many clubs next door. During the night, it becomes very nosy because the hotel is next to the clubs.

We had a big spider in our room, it was crawling on the bed then on the wall. We recorded a video and we reported to the hotel staff but they were not phased by this. They simply said \"it is normal to find insects and other things in your room, don't worry about it\".

The rooms are small, there is no room amenity at all even there is no free water in room , there is no coffee, tea, heater or iron in the room, knowing that it is a 4-star hotel, the restaurant and the gear are attached to the rooms, so you can not sleep well.the singer in Tara’s which is close to room start singing and finish At 12 at night, I could not sleep for 4 consecutive days, no rest at all, the food was generally good

Desde el primer dia que llegue, la habitacion tenia problemas con las luces, el frigobar no funcionaba, el soporte de la ducha estaba roto y la puerta de la ducha no cerraba.
Realice el reclamo en el lobby del hotel 5 veces. Solo arreglaron el frigobar, el resto nunca lo arreglaron, ni quisieron cambiarme de habitacion.
Yo tenia mi habitacion paga hasta el 12 de Julio, por que necesitaba realizar mi checkout el 11 de julio por la noche, ya que mi vuelo salia de madrugada. Al querer hacer el checkout primeramente me lo negaron por que segun el personal del turno noche no tenian autorizacion para hacer un checkout (a pesar que yo ya les habia avisado por la mañana del mismo dia), despues de discutir, cuando porfin decidieron hacerme el checkout, querian cobrarme 600 liras por supuestos daños a la habitacion, los mismos daños que yo reporte desde el primer dia. Definitivamente no volvere jamas a este hotel, y no se lo recomiendo a nadie, la atencion es un desastre y las habitaciones son viejas, ruidosas y en mal estado.

If you want a truly meditteranean experience, stay here. Thr breakfast, the feeling of the place, the area its in in the old city, the close proximity to the beach and the city centre. I randomly chose here and so glad i did. The only reason we left is due to the performances every evening was a litte too loud, but the performances were also part of the experience and it stops at 12, if you dont mind it, i would say stay, the feeling of being here is wonderful.

The hotel's patio is actually a restaurant which, as I've been told, is not part of the hotel - although the hotel and restaurant's staff wasn't the same. Every night, there was live music up until midnight!
WiFi is also terrible, because it's not password protected.

Very Loud Hotel

The hotel decor etc was fine. A little dated and shabby around the edges. The AirCon didn't work at one point for a few hours, we managed to fix it ourselves. Check-in was ok, the 'bell-boy' was sweet and gave us tea. The check-in and check-out was unfriendly and we felt almost unwelcome. No welcome, thanks, no goodbye, nothing. This is the only hotel we had to pay for small bottled water in the room. It was 3 lira (26p or 30 cents) I only had 2.5 lira left. He refused this and I had to pay by debit card. Bonkers.

This hotel is more like a hostel centred around a small pool and restaurant. The restaurant plays very loud music all day, and they had a live performance until well after midnight for it's restaurant guests, which is great for them, not so much for the hotel guests. This is not the place for a good night's sleep or even a siesta. Our room backed onto a back service alley which was incredibly noisy. We had to get up early next day with very little sleep, not what you expect from a hotel.

After having a nightmare at the airport and not being able to board a flight home I asked to print some important documents and they weren't too happy about it saying their printer isn't for guests. I begged and offered to pay. I managed to print some pages but not all of them which led to so much stress finding a printer elsewhere. This was so tight of them, even after offering to pay.

They gave us a sandwich as we were leaving too early for breakfast.

Poor isolation, noisy and zero privacy

If you are trying to relax this hotel should not be your choice! The hotel is located in the heart of the old city with thousands of sober/drunk people passing by under your room window every minute, also the hotel hosts live music everyday starting 7 to 10 PM with very loud voice that will rock your bed. Hotel breakfast is amazing, it worth trying the hotels breakfast even if you are not staying in it. It worth mentioning that some rooms in the hotel lack the minimum requirements of privacy, as they are situated on the floor level with window wide open to the people who are sitting in the restaurant, which will be a disaster seeing the bad room isolation, where you can hear every whisper from the people sitting outside. The hotel staff are very friendly, especially Cihan bey, who is very understanding and helpful, however it seems that they don't have the authority to take even minor decisions, as those are in the hands of the brand HQ in İstanbul and they are extra passive! One example, i booked my room and got the booking dates wrong by one week, i asked to change my booking dates by shifting them a week earlier (same no of nights, only one week before), hotel HQ refused my request, and hotels.com request, although they have free rooms! Also the hotel HQ refused my request to refund the extra amount they charged my on my CD due to exchange rate difference (around 90 TRY) when i booked through hotels.com.

It's right in the center of the old town. Everything in the hotel looks pretty luxurious, yet I don't know if we got some massive discount in Expedia, but we paid for staying there as it was a common budget place. And we even had really superb breakfast in the morning. So in terms of value for money it was totally magnificent. We felt ourselves like kings there. As a backpackers we fully approve it.

Location is excellent for exploring the old city & marina, you can walk everywhere. Staff very nice but most with limited English. Hotel is not a 4* hotel, it needs upgrading. Our room was dark, wallpaper was falling off the walls, shower head broken (it got changed on request), poor water pressure, and shower was leaking onto the floor. No kettle in the room. Generally not cleaned to great standard. Sheets were clean but had old stains. No light on stairs leading to our room - H&S hazard. VERY noisy pm as there were live concerts every evening 7-10pm luckily we asked for a quiet room so it was on the other side, but we could still hear the music. Feel sorry for people whose rooms were by the courtyard where concerts were performed each night!
Breakfast was amazing and popular with external visitors. Overall ok stay saved by location and breakfast and nice staff but facilities needs upgrading.

Hotel needs a bit of TLC. A number of light bulbs missing from the room. Impossible to use pool as in the middle of restaurant area and no sunbeds.
Staff are good and friendly but don't speak much English.
Rooms cleaned well but lots of cats about in restaurant area (everywhere in Antalya).
Music is a bit loud at night but stops at midnight sharp.

So I have to say that despite not being a great fan of this hotel I did extend my stay for 2 extra days. My check in was unremarkable, I am in the service industry so I have a habit of giving industry people a break, shown to my room, I think it was 102, nice. Went out to go see some sites and take in dinner. I returned at about 21:30 to a live band blasting music in the center of the hotel, directly below and in front of my room. The room did not abase the music volume and even though I use earplugs that was not going to help. My neighbors informed me that the band plays every night until midnight. And this was the normal volume level. I had been up since 04:30 and the notion that I was not going to sleep until midnight did not sit well with me. I do have to apologize to the front desk staff because I did drop the \"F\" bomb, several times, as I demanded to know how the hell I was suppose to sleep with the music, also I double checked, nowhere, here or on their website does it say anything about live music playing until midnight. The staff did upgrade me to a larger room, 524, which did block the music. Had the room not been available I am not sure what would have happened. How can you sell a boutique hotel room and then expect the guests not to be able to sleep until midnight if you end up with the wrong room? If I wanted party, music and noise I could just go stay at the Drunken Wombats World Tour hostel up the road. One last point, the WIFI was terrible, very unreliable

I stayed here for 2 weeks and by the 9th day I had to change rooms as it was too noisy outside with the music from the nightclub opposite. Also, breakfast was very boring as it was the exact same everyday for 2 weeks. I am back in Kaleici in October but will try a different hotel.

Poor wifi, bad conditioning, old floor in shower cabin, pool is open only from 14 to 18 , because they serve food to clients that are not hotel guests and just came to their restaurant, and most terrible - no sound isolation , every evening from 20:30 till 00:00 they have life turkish music singers thar feels like of they were inside your room.. if you like to rest , the hotel not for you!
the only good thing is the location- close to great beach (entrance 30 lira) and is situated in the old city , that is really beautiful 😍

The hotel Environment and rooms are beautifully designed. Beds were pretty comfortable, Clean towels and toiletteries were Provided on daily basis but there were no Slippers provided. Beddings were pretty clean but there were couple of uncleaned stains in bathroom. Breakfast buffet was fine and Staff Manner was also okey. in total i believe there could be some improvenents in service by comparing to their price.

They rudely said it was too late to book an airport shuttle even though I called 5 hours before arrival. Email enquiring about shuttle from the day before arrival was answered after I arrived. Check in was slow. Room safe was not in my room as advertised. Breakfast was mediocre. Right in local area great for walking. BUT super loud music right outside my window that went on until 4:00 AM. Drunken partiers all night making tons of noise and digs barking until way past sunrise. You can find a better place!

Brilliant location and excellent staff, but this is not a 4 star hotel and would benefit from a decor refresh. The pool is not used and is for the ambience of the restaurant which is a popular place and plays quite loud music at night. Don't expect to be able to sleep before midnight. Inclusive breakfast was disappointing but the main menu in the restaurant is great and good value. References to a winery and art gallery in other reviews were unfounded by me. Proximity to the beach is true, but Antalya doesn't have any sandy beaches and the closest to the hotel is a private beach accessible by paying a fee to another establishment. The public beach is an hour's walk or tram ride.

The property is located in a perfect spot right in the middle of old town. The room is very large. The two front staff were very friendly and helpful on multiple occasions. The price is very reasonable.
The bed is hard, the breakfast is sad and the women working breakfast are quite unfriendly.

The hotel is not bad, I can't really say it's a 4* hotel.
I had a bad luck with hot water, as I stayed 6 days in this hotel and 3 days without hot water then they fixed it.
The location of the hotel is amazing it's in the middle of everything, I really liked the location
The staff were helpful and nice , they speak English.
The breakfast is not bad but it lacks variety, and they had refill for everything.

But overall I enjoyed my stay there.

The design of building was beautiful and pleasing to walk into. Great location as well. Rooms generally was good and decent. Service in general was good.

However, some of the light bulbs didn't work in all 4 rooms we stayed in , WiFi was sometimes really slow or not connecting, bathrooms seemed a bit small and my room the bed sheets had stains on.

Great position right in the middle of the old town that is the only good thing about this hotel i do not be fooled by any pictures it's not welcoming at all not really anywhere to sit and relax with a nice cold drink the pool is dire,if you saw the slapdash way they clean in and around the pool you would be appalled .As for the staff awful apart from the Thai lady who kept our room spotless a people's skill course MIGHT help .Breakfast .Worst continental breakfast ever ,floor filthy.Cats around this area sitting on seats and hanging around tables. All in all a very bad experience

Centrally located and very well managed. Staff were helpful, the room was spacious, and breakfast included a variety of choices. The bed was a little harder than you might expect but otherwise fine.

Nice location, could be better

This hotel is located in the old city and is very convenient for all local places of interest, all in a short walkable distance. The room was comfortable but overlooking a very noisy street and one night was very bad where hotel staff worked through the night dragging furniture around while they carried out maintenance in the poolside restaurant/breakfast area. The staff were quite miserable (unusual for Turkey) to the point you didn’t want to ask them anything. Breakfast was not great but was adequate. I probably would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

I was looking for something easy and inexpensive on the last day of a business trip and this property was unbeatable in terms of price, convenience and ambiance. It has an old world feel to it, the staff was very friendly, there was Turkish music at night in a small courtyard, and the breakfast was excellent.

Internet connection almost none existence. Breakfast very basic and same each morning. No room service. Only interested in selling alcohol.
But ladies who clean rooms and serve breakfast were lovely no complaints with them.

Good clean hotel in a very convenient location.

The hotel is unique with its original features. The area around the hotel is very lively in the evenings. We just loved the location. The hotel's courtyard is unique and on different ground levels. The staff are freindly and helpful.

Happy to get there again .

Nice hotel and location

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here, we spent almost a week in this hotel and the staff has been very helpful and friendly, very accommodating. The rooms are very characteristic and the location of the hotel is just perfect. Sometimes it might get too hot but the AC works well.
The beds are comfortable depending on what bed you get, some might be hard.
However beautiful place and highly recommended

Beautiful old Ottoman style building in the heart of old town Antalya. Hotel manager went out of his way to schedule a tour which seem to be full. Called around to several different operators to get me a spot. Beautiful wood floors and wood throughout the room. The restaurant attached to the hotel is overpriced.

We had to check out early due to the owners rotweiller barking all night in the room above us. We booked a 3 night stay and checked out after the 1st night. We went back to the hotel to request a refund for the upgrade we paid and they said we didn't check out early. Dishonest.
