Beautiful waterfront set up. Great reef club with very nice beds, umbrellas right on top of the water. The little side reef beach was very cool. Found the staff could’ve been slightly more attentive given the price of the resort. Also, certain details would be nice to know ahead of time (private jacuzzis are not heated). Unfortunately beach club was closed by the time we got there, but it was already mid October so that makes sense. Nice rooms with great showers. Breakfast was very good. Got massages, which were fantastic… would appreciate if the steam/sauna/jacuzzi in the spa were included with massages, or at least cheaper to use. Would stay again.

One of the finest hotels I have stayed in. Great location close to the port and walking distance to the town. Multiple private beaches for the guests. Two great restaurants on site. Very attentive staff. It was close to the port so we rented a boat for a half day and that was very nice. Overall the best place to stay in Cefalu!

Le Calette is a bit of a mixed bag. We found the front-of-house staff very helpful and efficient (they helped sort out an over-charge by a local transport service). The pool area is delightful and a beautiful place to relax. But the bar food was average to below-average, and took a long time to come. There is also a 2.5km walk into town, the first part of which is not very pleasant, so you feel slightly cut off from town and restaurants. There is also a train line immediately behind the hotel, so it is not as quiet as one would hope.

Cabana Hot Tub never got hot, wouldn’t book again.

A beautiful hotel with great views, unfortunately the Cabana I especially booked because of the hot tub was just tepid.
We did ask for someone to come and put the temperature higher but this did not work!
Disappointed and would not book a Cabana again.

As soon as we arrived we felt looked after, all the staff were fabulous and very attentive from reception through to housekeeping. The food we had was always to a high standard, particularly Cala Luna, where we experienced a tasting menu of which we will never forget, superb! The hotel is small which suits those looking for peace and quiet, it is also perfectly located for the views and proximity to the town, ideal for couples wanting some down time and relaxation.

This hotel is set next to the marina, walking distance to Cefalù is around 20minutes but the views are well worth it. If you’re travelling around Scicily 2-3 nights are perfect. The staff and service from bourngiono to arividerci was perfect. We also ate in La Luna restaurant which was amazing. The pool area was clean with all the services you would expect.

Hotel Le Calette is easily the most stunning resort I have ever visited. The views were beautiful wherever you looked. Food was delicious. We booked for our honeymoon the first week in October and while it was a bit quiet and didn’t feel like there were too many people, we enjoyed the privacy and relaxation! This hotel is exceptional. It is in a stunning location at the top of the cliff with a beautiful pool. You can walk down stairs to their beach area with sun beds, a restaurant, water sports, and great service. It is a 20 minute walk to town along the water, which is perfect. You’re able to easily get to the town while feeling like you’re at a secluded, quiet resort. We had a couples massage at the spa which was amazing.

The hotel was beautiful and the view is amazing. Only 1 of the 3 restaurants on site were open. Pool service was very limited! The hotel policy is no eating poolside. My husband and i wanted to get a late lunch while sitting at the pool and we had to leave our lounge chair and sit at a table off to the side. We had to go inside to the bar to order food and drinks. The hotel is beautiful and has amazing views.

Hotel is beautiful. Loved the beach area. Room was nice. However, the front desk check in was just OK for a hotel at this level. We were never told the wifi and the details of getting around the grounds was rushed. Also we reserved with the hotel a transfer and confirmed a car and payment-credit card. The transfer came and after 3 hour journey the driver told us cash only and he was never told we were paying by card. Other than that my sister and I were overall very pleased with the hotel and location.

My wife and I absolutely loved Le Calette. From the moment we checked in and gratefully received a room upgrade to when we left it was a delight. The people at the hotel were incredibly friendly even arranging a doctor to Covid test us! The views and swimming in the ocean was fabulous. Service a bit slow due to Covid. Would absolutely return!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This horribly amazing resort will ruin every other hotel or the rest of you life. Nothing will match up. This great disaster of a hotel has sicking views, disgustingly polite staff, food that you won’t stop eating and an overall aura of euphoria that will leave you in shaking withdrawals upon checkout. My relationship will surely suffer and end soon... my girlfriend will expect this sort of treatment on all vacations moving forward, I could never duplicate. We also cried pool side for hours. I hate it here. Can’t wait to return again soon. Thanks for nothing!

Really nice property with incredible views and great service, especially from Benedict at the front desk. The first room assigned to us lacked a view as we had expected. The front desk quickly moved us to an excellent room. Staff was highly responsive. Pool deck and swim platforms below at the cove are excellent. Bar and restaurant staff also excellent in all respects. Located outside of town. A shuttle is available to take you into town on a schedule basis we found very convenient. Easy taxi return from town after dinner.Highly recommended.

We were very disappointed with our room. It was not commensurate with what we expected for a stay in a five star hotel. The windows to our room partially opened. There was no air conditioning. The bed sagged and the room outlook was a garbage dumpster. The description of a classic room for this property on your site was clearly misleading based on our experience. Other comparable suites we were shown when we complained had similar outlooks to ours, namely an alley, the parking lot, an interior hallway or the garbage bins. Had we known, we would have booked elsewhere. Having said that, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and did their best to make our stay enjoyable. The common areas were very nice and service in the restaurant was impeccable.

Beautiful hotel. Peaceful and luxurious, around the hill from busier Cefalu. The pool was a bit too cold for us in early October (despite the 80's heat...must not be heated) and the jacuzzi wasn't working, but it was heavenly to just lie by the pool in the sun, feel the ocean breeze and totally relax. The rooms were very nice if a wee bit small; we booked a 'superior' room and was surprised at how cramped it was. Also the bathroom was basically in the bedroom and it was so 'designed' that the shower didn't work properly and water got all over the floor. But these were minor bothers in an otherwise lovely experience (with a fantastic breakfast spread, btw). The restaurant was great and there is a piano player on weekend nights, music wafting into the warm Mediterranean night...

Absolutely fabulous!

Boutique style hotel in a stunning location. The Calette complex is large yet feels intimate, with different types/grades of accommodation (Calette No. 5 Hotel 5 star, Calette Garden and Bay cottages 4 star etc). There is also a very cool looking bar/club but this was closed as it was out of season; I can imagine it is quite the place to be seen in when it is open! There are also lots of areas/decks at different levels where you can sit and enjoy the wonderful seaview. We stayed in a superb suite overlooking the pool with a large balcony. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and opted for the tasting menue, which was easily the best meal of the holiday - extremely high quality food. There is a hotel shuttle bus to Cefau town which runs thoughout the day until 6.30pm ish. However there is a more direct route you can take on foot which takes about 15-20 minutes. Cefalu town is very quaint with cobbled streets and alleys and has a vast choice of restaurants. We originally planned our three night Sicily break to Palermo only but after several friends advised that 24 hours in Palermo is enough for most people, we stumbled upon Cefalu and Calette No. 5 through internet searching. Cefalu is about 80 mins from Palermo airport and once you have navigated through Palermo it is a staright run on a dual carriage way to Cefalu. Cannot recommned this hotel highly enough!

Calette No. 5 is a legitimate 5 star hotel. A beautiful facility with a gorgeous view and interesting and lovely rooms. The service was friendly and very helpful. The reception, lounge and dining rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The pool area is perfect for the number of rooms in the hotel, and decks and a beach area located below the hotel provide an opportunity to be closer to the ocean. There is a lovely outdoor dining area which unfortunately was closed because of the cooler and breezy weather conditions when we were there. The resort is about a 30 minute walk from central Cefalu, but a complimentary shuttle to and from town is provided during the day. If we return to Sicily, we won’t hesitate to visit Calette No. 5 again.

The hotel is very nice with a lovely pool and beach area and a good breakfast selection. The beach area has a good selection of sunbeds and a platform for access to the sea with beautiful views. A really nice beach bar with lunch options. The room was clean, well serviced and comfortable. A selection of pillows provided, nice towels, great shower, tea and coffee making facilities, bath robes, hair dryer, safe, toiletries. We had a classic room but I wouldn't book this room again 101, as it was small and dark with no outside area or possibility of having the door open as it was right next to the door to reception. It is possible to walk in to town in about 15 minutes and a shuttle bus is provided about 4 per day, but the last one to town is 6.30pm and the last one back is 6.15pm. So no good for going out in the evening. However a taxi is 10 euro but quite honestly the walk is fine in flat shoes although it could be much better lit. One night there was a wedding and the path was beautifully lit but sadly the hotel didn't do that every day. We stayed in another 5 star hotel on this holiday and by comparison I would rate this hotel 4 star. My reasons are down to service from staff, and attention to detail. In the outside breakfast and dining area the grass is all bare and so dusty on your feet and the wasps were truly bothersome while eating. Although the hotel has few rooms the pool serves calette garden and bay so sometimes there were no sunbeds free at the pool area.

Delightful Hotel in Lovely Settting.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Impeccably maintained. Rooms have every facility. Ours was one of the few standard rooms with a sea view ove ther bay of Cefalù. Good size swimming pool and lots of sun loungers with an endless supply of towels. Swimming platforms in rocky cove with sea access but no beach on site. Lunches served on terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel has its own beach in town (and a shuttle to take you there). Staff are pleasant but not always skilled. Breakfast buffet in garden overlooking sea. Huge choice. Coffee served slowly by the cup rather than in a pot or cafetière. Pianist plays some nights- but often to an empty terrace. What a pity, he was very good. The resort proper is 25 minutes walk away past the port and along a road. Lots to see there and lots of restaurants.

This is a delightful hotel but there is sometimes a sense that no one is in charge front of house and some staff seem to lack skills.

The pictures do not even do this hotel justice. Every part of the grounds and property is extremely well manicured. The pool is delightful, the rocky grotto area is so unique and fun, and the sun deck down by the ocean is amazing with great drink and food service with the best view. The staff was extremely pleasant and always willing to go above and beyond to help. The location being just two turns from the main town was perfect because it was an easy walk to shops, restaurants and beach, but also far enough away to feel like an amazing resort. I cant say enough good things about our stay here

From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had a truly wonderful time at Calette No.5. We upgraded to a Prestige room (with balcony & sea view) and it was worth every penny.

All the staff were so helpful and friendly - Francesco & Davide at reception to Rosario, Roberto and William in the restaurant. There was a lovely bar waitress too - I can't remember her name now but she made the best Cranberry Mojitos! On that note, the food was amazing - every time. Caprese for lunch, beef filet, sea bass and pork risotto to name but a few for dinner and the most amazing chilli chocolate fondant cake dessert!

The hotel is beautifully presented and well kept. The views out onto the sea and port are wonderful and the hotel have really made use of its surroundings - with paths down to a rocky cove in the sea to sunbeds on a veranda over the sea. A few lights around the pool area at night would look great though as it's very dark. There is a garden area where I think you can also eat, but this wasn't opening until the week after we left (beg June I guess).

We hired a car and drove from Palermo airport to the hotel (approx. 1.5hrs), so we also took a short drive into Cèfalu town on a few days. It's only a 5 min drive / approx 20 minute walk I guess but went for a little change of scenery and to try some more local cuisine around Duomo square.

All in all a very relaxing and beautiful break and would definitely recommend Calette No.5.

Paradise stay at Calette N 5

We had the most wonderful stay at the beautiful Calette N 5. The setting was spectacular, the staff was extremely accomadating and the ambience exquisite. When we arrived we were greeted to an upgraded room and offered a welcome drink as we listened to a lovely gentleman playing the piano. The doors were open with a light breeze with an incredible view of the pool. We arrived late and the staff made a last minute reservation in the restaurant for us. The food was scrumptious. The room were spacious and clean and the bed was so comfortable. We dream of coming and staying again at Calette N 5. It was paradise!!!

Nice but not 5 star. Good location and very peaceful. Staff helpful. Dissspointingy there was no where to have breakfast outside and the beach club on cefalu main Bach was not available nor was the loungers on the decking or the bar area. Not as advertised!

Lively but check amenities available

Really lovely hotel with attentive staff. Gorgeous private cove but unfortunately the decking area was not set up for sun beds etc or bar by the sea. The private lido on the main beach was also not ready and breakfast and dinner area also not available despite being middle of May and mid 20’s temperature wise which was a shame. The pool is nice (Cold but needed) and the main town is 20 mins stroll.

Elegant hotel in a picturesque setting

Great hotel for a relaxing stay. The room we stayed in felt a tad too small, otherwise the overall experience was very enjoyable. Did not need access to the beach as it was too cold but understand that only a rocky beach is nearby. The hotel has a shuttle to Cefalu Centre and Cefalu beach, but this runs on a more limited schedule off-season. Very well-trained and accomodating staff, helpful without being overwhelming.

A beautiful hotel the room I booked was not as expected which was a standard room and was not as the hotel website had shown however the matter was dealt with very efficiently and with kindness by a lady member of the front of house team . Everything about my stay was superb location food the pool . The hotel team work graciously and efficiently to make your stay special it was all excellent
