Parking seemed secure, was not able to try breakfast.
Carmen
Not clean
Rodolfo
I reported that bathroom door was not closing they said we take this report to maintenance department but never got fixed
Salena
The room was clean. The parking was terrible. Had to park next-door at the other hotel in the back breakfast was fine. Didn’t use it not so much helpful because our room was hot. They didn’t wanna offer me a discount. All they could do was give me another fan, which didn’t help because it was hot in the room.
Jamie
Very small parking lot. Grass was long when we arrived and the ice machine broken on the 2nd floor. There was the smell of wet dog on the 2nd floor hallway. The elevator was dirty and was not swept out at all during the 4 days we were there. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was nice and courteous.
Cooper
Good breakfast and big room for a family
Jackelyn
Likes their breakfast options
Roy
From check in to check out everthing wonderful. Clean rooms and a wonderful breakfast bar.
Ramón
The rooms were clean, though a bit tight on space; the staff was friendly and helpful, and there was ample parking, but the breakfast did not meet our expectations compared to other hotels where we have stayed.
Griselda
The only complaint I have is the parking lot was too small.
Rudy
Parking could be better.. but found a spot every night.
Odilia
I was told it was in front of the beach.
It wasn’t.
It was clean, but had a very muggy smell.
The door didn’t close, it kept getting stuck.

Amazing breakfast and a very professional group of employees.
Tiffany
Staff was all really nice. Location was perfect to see all festivities. And the breakfast put it over the top.
Ronny
Clean, good breakfast, but quite a bit of noise in hallway and door slamming.
Lyle
pool was out of order, 3days
Karina
Not such a great stay. The pool was closed, water was green and they didn't know when they would open it again. I would not have picked a hotel without a pool in the middle of the Texas summer. Also, the back door by the parking lot was out of order, so they kept it unlocked! Safety hazard since it was adjacent to the parking lot.
Velma
Very clean and inviting
entrance. Amazing breakfast. Hallways could use a few touch ups. Room was clean and very
comfortable. Not sure if
pool was properly maintained. Location perfect for beach and downtown.

The back door stayed opened, due to key card pad didn’t work, pool was closed , cause the water was green, shower bench was partially pulled away from the wall, there was a hole in the bathroom, extremely noisy from dogs barking and kids running around. The breakfast was good.
Maria
Clean room. Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back.
Dennis
It was hit or miss with staff courteousness and friendliness. The lady who checked us in was not informative regarding anything.

Robert
Easy check in. Hotel staff friendly and premises was clean
Brandy
Great breakfast, quiet hotel, and the Rockport City Beach park was a short drive across the road. You could walk but it would be about a mile long. The pool was small but nice. For some reason it was closed during our stay. I am guessing chemical treatment because the smell was so strong.
Nevee
Everything was great , very clean , stuff was very sweet. We got into town early and they let is check in early ! 100out of 10 would definitely stay again! Best thing a well across street from the beach

Condition of the rooms were very clean. Staff were excellent and processing in. There was no ice to be found when jeans were broken. The eggs were terrible. Overall the breakfast was not good.

The staff was really nice, however our room was not clean at check in. Trash in the trash can and on bathroom floor, food items in the fridge and one towel. We were moved to another room and no wash cloths and there was dirt/ sand on one bed. Trash stayed on the floor by the ice machine and never saw housekeeping.
Savana
Very welcoming to our pets and respectful.
Michael
Room was clean, bed was so comfortable the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. When we got there the pool was dirty but this sweet lady with pink hair was outside cleaning it and she made it sparkle! She was so kind and made sure we had towels. She was out there working hard and she was so kind! Another nice lady kept the breakfast full and everything was fresh and tasted good! Overall we had a great experience 10/10

It was only a one-night stay but it was perfect! I hadn't stayed in a Holiday Inn since being a child and traveling with my parents. There was no where else we could stay because we were coming in pretty late. I was shocked. Better than the last few BWs I have stayed in including the one near Lubbock that was way over priced for its value. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again or giving another Holiday Inn Express a try.
kelly
Clean ,great staff. Gulf views from our room. Dining across the parking lot. And walkable.
Elizabeth
room faced older hotel asked for a room with a better view and told none available, staff ok but not much inter action with them not given any info on what was in the area coffee was ok lower expectation than I thought even if it was for one night
Maria
Room was clean, comfy beds, breakfast was ok
Just one little thing: they should check and refill the containers, body wash and body lotion were empty

The luggage carts weren’t usable for small bags. They were similar to those at the airport. I had to carry all my items and I have bad knees.
Martha
Room was very quiet and clean. Check in was quick and efficient. Check in staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. Check out not so much. No smile or receipt. My second encounter with this person. Previously was the day after Christmas. Same attitude. Just not front desk material
Rhonda
A/C system was a little whacky. Had a mind of it's own.
Martha
Staff was courteous. Toilet in room had issue, we reported it as we were leaving, nothing we couldn’t handle.
vandee
Room and breakfast was good, only complaint I have is there’s no water views. You’re across the street from the bay, there should be some rooms with water views.

Holiday Inn- in name only?
Tired looking inn. Rooms ok, but dirty in corners, old carpeting etc.
Poor breakfast, out of things, even bowls for cereal.

Everything was great for the most part. Had ants in the room but they took care of it right away. Staff very friendly. If you want your room clean you have to request it. Breakfast was fair. Pool was nice and clean. Great place for dogs. Would stay again.
Sonya
Clean and friendly
Johnny
We were there for our Anniversary and all though the room was clean, the tub was very shaking as if I was going to fall through the next floor. The bathroom also smelled like roach medicine and I get it, the humidity attracts them, but no roaches. The towels and blankets did not smell fresh at all but I always take my frebreeze. The breakfast option was not great at all. Maybe bacon, eggs, juice& fresh cereal boxes. The eggs were like powder and more sweetbread options, rather than fresh breakfast. It was no issue, we went to eat at the best Taqueria down the road. Parking gets full but still enough for all of us. Over all, the staff was all friendly and we will be staying again because it’s convenient to the Beach.
ROGER
Close to the beach. Big room.
Graciela
Very nice staff, breakfast was really good and fresh, easy parking (free of extra charge) out room was a suite for 6 people wich was a nice room very spacious and clean
Frank H
We felt very comfortable with the parking area. I will recommend Holiday Inn Express to my family and friends.
Diane
The AC worked great and the property looked good overall. Our room however smelled like dog and the bare floors had a film all over them. When showering, the drain was barely working and I ended up standing in water above my ankles. The tiles on the bathroom floor were loose. The breakfast was very good.
Karen
Stay was incredible, would like an option to check in early in the future if possible. Breakfast was great and well maintained
Melissa
We had a good stay no problems and staff was friendly
Van
Wait long for check in, I’m not happy
Diane
We drove up for the Rockport Market in June. It was in easy walking distance although we drove over early to park. The facility is not brand new, but it's very clean and the breakfast was more than we expected with hot dishes and options for toast, pancakes etc. We'd stay there again. Didn't use the pool, but enjoyed reading my book there beside it in the evening.

Nice place, close to the beach, good breakfast
Raphael
Nice clean room, right by rockport beach

Worst mistake
I did not stay, I was denied access to a bay view room that I paid for and booked into a smelling room on the second floor. When I approached the front desk to request a different room, the attendant refused. She also denied me access to the manager on duty. I immediately took my family to a different hotel where we were better received and appreciated. Anyone going here is making a bitter mistake. I'm still fighting them for unapproved charges to my credit card.
Charles
The room had a stench that came from the AC unit. There was hair in the bathroom and evidence of not being cleaned thoroughly. The main glass door resembled a meat freezer door ..cloudy because of poor maintenance. I will never stay here again. We requested house keeping and it was never done. I had to take my own trash outside. On

The hotel did not tell us on check in, but room is not cleaned unless you request. The bed was comfortable and the AC was reliable and fairly quiet. There were several small children on our floor who were very noisy until after 9:30 pm. Breakfast was ok, but no frills. No fresh fruit.
Holly
It was fine for a short stay.
Abel
Beds were comfortable. Hotel was clean. Good stay for a weekend.

Hi there, i rate 2 starts because i reserved 3 nights for a much needed vacation to this hotel needed on good reviews and it was so disappointing that 2 out of 3 nights the hotel fire alarm went off early around 730 in the morning due to kitchen cooking incidents and it woke us up and having my 2 years old baby so is a late sleeper disrupted our sleep for 2 mornings, which is one of the primary reasons been on vacation is to rest good. That didn't happened, it was very inconvenient. While doing checkout i brought it up to the service clerk who really show any concerns, no support, no accommodations no apologies, no notes for the complaints and follow ups. It was very disappointing !. I hope this message gets to the upper management to make sure more coaching get saddress and this doesn't happen in the future. Thank you.
Adrian
The bed was very comfortable and the temperature was perfect when we arrived. The breakfast choices were great and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Jose
Very close to the beach.

Best place in Rockport
We love this place. Anytime we come to the coast this is the place we stay and recommend. If we can give 10 stars we would. The staff is always very friendly, the rooms are clean, fresh and smell clean.
Josh
The lady who checked me in was very friendly and made me feel welcomed the moment I walked in the door.
