Irene
Staff was slow to answer and not helpful. We booked 2 rooms and common sense says place us close together, but no we were at opposite ends of the property had to use my cell phone to call the front desk because the phone did not work in the room. One of my rooms only had 1 working outlet and the tv didn’t work. Pictures of the property online definitely do not match what the rooms really look. Old dirty not cleaned well and will not stay there again. Loud noise people were having a seafood boil on one side of the parking lot and a bbq on the other not to mention they were drinking. Family friendly i would say not at all.
Jason
Good stay
Sergio
$25 extra per night for a service dog ?
Violeta
When asked for more toilet paper said only one. Yes there was one there already but it wasn't a new roll. Luckily we had brought 2 rolls from home. One for each room.
Maranda
Everything was nice and clean.
Robert
Rooms were nice and clean. I did see one roach but that's all. Pool was clean and service was excellent. I would stay their again.
Gabriella
room had roaches in both rooms & bathroom, & they were stingy with the towels. pool was okay.
Melissa
Lobby at check in was clean. When checked in let them know we had a service dog & got charged pet fee (fine whatever we overlooked that). Hand us only one key when we got the 2 bdrm appt room because we had 4 people all together. Had to ask for another key. Get to room, check everything out. Floors hadn’t been fully cleaned as in fully swept nor mopped. Check towels- only have 1 hand towel, 2 wash cloths, 2 towels. Go to front desk ask for more. Get 1 more towel 1 hand towel. Had no more wash cloths or any other towels you give so the said. Went to try out there pool as looked clean & of course service dog was with husband. Well wasn’t in there long before before desk clerk comes out throwing a fit saying dog can’t be in pool area. Now when you check in theres a sign on their desk saying can’t leave dog in room alone. Now this is 2nd strike for us here knowing our dog is a service dog. Husband at this point was furious & wanted to check into another hotel but unfortunately most was already booked up close by. Only stayed one more night and then we left elsewhere for our trip.

Nice room
Justen
Trashy smelly hotel
Amanda
Good room for a good price. No frills. Small ketchup packet shampoo/conditioner lotion and bar of soap. But all sufficient.
Tomas
Clean Room,
John
The room was clean when we arrived. Check-in was quick amd easy. Nice swimming pool. The rooms were very cool.
Nancy
I would not recommend this hotel.
Michelle
Good for the price. Pretty clean but very small towels. The worst thing was the the air conditioning unit. It would sometimes start blowing very weird smelling air, and sometimes the room would feel kind of muggy.
Samantha
Sheets had stains on them. Has to go ask for clean ones. Did not supply enough toilet paper. Only had one roll in the bathroom.
Jo Ann
Room was not cleaned , no toilet paper, refrigerator dirty, bathroom had hair. Not a pleasant stay.
John
The room was clean and comfortable.
Francis J
Okay, Nothing Special
The room was okay. Older hotel, they gave it a facelift, which was nice. It is next to the railroad tracks and main highway, so be ready for lots of noise. My biggest gripe is housecleaning took our towels and didn't replace them, I had to go to the office twice to remind them.
Elizabeth
Pictures are deceiving. Dont believe what you see. Roach poop all over the place even on our beds. Killed a live roach also. Tub was rusty ,clogged tub and they asked if we wanted a plunger to unclogged it. I will never recommend this place to anyone. VERY Disappointed. Don’t stay there if I was you.
Rachel
Staff was rude. She seemed bothered that we arrived to check in. The room was dirty, had hair in the bathroom, did not have toilet paper and was in need of repairs.
Jason
Staff was really nice and friendly! The location was great, and would definitely come back again.
Carl
No security locks in room on the door. Very dirty
Aaron
Staff is always so friendly!!! I stay here very often and rooms are super clean, great showers and comfortable beds and a great price.
Jennifer
Excellent hotel
We only stay here when we come to Port Aransas. Always a clean and quiet hotel. Great staff
Aaron
I stay here at least biweekly for 2-5 days a stay for fishing. They are super clean, great showers and super friendly staff. Great pricing for location. Will stay here a lot more in future
Micheal
Great price, rooms were acceptable, andstaff was nice.
Angelina
Once was enough
The motel is close to restaurants and convenience stores. The pool was wonderful! Beds were okay comfort wise but I could feel the springs. Make sure you take bed bug spray as I was bitten several times. Also there is a small dog walking area by the road that is infested with fleas. Several cats roaming around and one recently had kittens. Internet sucks! We couldn’t stay connected.
johnnie
was ok for the price

John
I’ve stayed there several times and I’ve enjoyed every visit.
Lori
Extremely satisfied
My husband and I made a spur of the moment trip to Port Aransas and didn’t want to spend very much. With it being on season in port aransas, staying on the island was out of the question. We were didn’t have high hopes about staying in Aransas Pass since years prior we had a bad experience. After finding this hotel and it being less than $100 we weren’t expecting much but it was a good price and if we didn’t like it we could have went somewhere else. And we were just sleeping in it. We were extremely surprised. The room was clean and very roomy. Looked like it was just remolded. Customer service was great as well. We will definitely be staying again in August we we do a little family trip
cheyenne
loud random beep. flaky room service. not enough toilet paper. only one trash can, when having to throw it away we had to walk to the big trash can. the door was also ify sometimes wouldn’t close and the handle was hard to push down. on the other hand, there was plenty of good things such as the tv, bed, shower, microwave and fridge. mirrors were clean.
Destiny
I like the amount of time it is from the ferry
Delphine Jessica
Convenience and comfort
It's was a very clean & comfortable room. They might consider better seals at the bottom of the doors since we did find little cockroaches in the room, but we did notice the door had a very noticeable gap at the bottom. I would definitely stay here again. People are nice and good location.
Rachel
The apartment was great, 2 separate rooms, it was perfect! The only issue we had was the faucet in the tub. We had a tough time getting the water to turn on. But we managed to get it going. Other than than that, it was a very pleasant stay! Would definitely stay here again!
Michala
I will definitely be back for a stay, the only downfall was the inconsideration from other customers..
Maria
Nice and quite
Taylor
Really enjoyed my stay. The cleanliness of the room was unmatched conpared to other hotels I've stayed at. The location is great, as it is right off the road to Port Aransas. Affordable and a great experience.
Thomas
Not the cleanest, lots of smoking going on right outside of my door and pretty rough bunch of full timers living there and being loud all night. I had a room booked for two nights but checked out after the first.
Lorena
Staff was friendly. Room was clean.
Kenneth
Property was a little cramped. Bath was remodeled and OK. Property was old and not set up well. Lamp next to the bed had no place to plug it in.
Gloria
The office assistant was rude and u friendly. Found roaches in the bath room. You could hear poeple outside partying being loud.
Debra
This is a horrible hotel. They never would bring us clean towels. They kicked us out the day before our time was up. They said I signed some papers that we would leave a day earlier than what we paid for and then didnt give the money back
Anthony
Nice place
Most OYO motels have bad reviews. This one was good. Actually gave us a free upgrade to a suite since all regular 3 beds were out. HEB and restaurants near by. Ill stay again.
Jessica
When we checked in I noticed one of the ACs in the apartment wasn’t working. I told the front desk and she said she’d come look at it. They came in less than 15 minutes and replaced the WHOLE UNIT in less than 30 minutes. It was nice and cool after! Def would stay here again and so happy with the property staff
Ruby
Comfortable, Pet-Friendly Stay Near the Beach
Great stay for a spontaneous beach trip!
Check-in went smoothly, and the front desk staff member was kind and professional, which made a great first impression. I was also able to bring my dog for a small fee, which was a huge plus. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities we needed. The bed was firm and spacious—perfect for me and my aunt to share during our last-minute getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

Would recommend for inexpensive stay
Good hotel for good pricing and last minute booking!
John
It was a very clean and comfortable room. The beds were made each day. There was a mini fridge and microwave. They had coffee in the room but not in the lobby. I'll definitely be back.
Christina
Clean room.

The staff was excellent and very friendly. The rooms were beyond my expectation for the price. My wife and I were very impressed with the room. This hotel is better than most others that I've stayed at. We will definitely being staying here when we visit Port Aransas again.

Comfortable stay!
No room number on card so after long drive/day/evening not sure on door to open. Had to wake up desk to verify but job done very swiftly. Clean upon arrival. Bed made and room gussied up for next night.

The rooms had a weird smell. It didn’t feel clean. The walls are thin you head all the noise coming from the room next to you and from outside. There wasn’t hardly any water pressure in the shower. Towels smelled funny and super small.

Non friendly service.

Disgusted
I have chosen to stay at this hotel several times and never had a problem. This time the proprietor, falsly accused me and my guest of smoking in the room the prior visit. This is absolutely not true and he would not back down from his statement. Obviously his personnel gave him the wrong information and he has chosen to lose a customer over this.

The building has some visible wear and tear but we had no issues with our stay.

Great location

Staff was rather unimpressive. By comparison, ive never felt as unappreciated as a customer. Being notified of a 60$ security deposit was jarring, but not as much as having to drive to an ATM for it as cash. Other than that, hotel was nice, comfortable.
Christina
Our room was clean and comfortable. We left a cup behind, returned 2 hours later, and they had it in a lost and found area for us to retrieve. This is a great place to stay.

Place is ok but the location for the price is why I’ll be back.
Dale
Big dead bugs in the room. Very out dated
Monica

My second stay here and I will definitely be back !

Nice place but bad deposit policy
Had a pleasant enough stay. The place is listed as \"pet friendly\" yet there was no designate area for the dogs to take care of their business. Also, while I don't mind having an Extra pet deposit, I was disappointed that, even when I explained that due to the impending hurricane we would only be staying for one night and not 2, they still charged the pet deposit (non-refundable cash). The room came with a non-refundable discounted room rate so I expected to pay for the 2nd night; just not the extra pet deposit.
The place was very easy to find and very convenient to where we wanted to be on our trip. The room was clean and certainly spacious enough for us two humans and our 2 dogs. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay there again when I head back to that area.
Obviously my only complaint was about the extra day of pet deposit.

No hot water and no batteries in tv. Owner said he didn’t care about what us people think.

Forceful door entry!
From day one there was an issue with the room door.Sensor indicator when using card did not lit and activate entry.Management notified and another card was issued with same results.Staff brushed it off and demonstrated door opening technique by pushing door forcefully while holding card close to sensor with still no light lit. This happened repeatedly during my stay!

Located in a very convenient area for my visit being basically halfway between Rockport and Port Aransas mileage wise. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m down in the area.
