What a fantastic hotel in the heart of Letterkenny. A warm welcome by very friendly and helpful reception staff on our arrival. We stayed in a superior room which was great very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend and stay again

On the both nights our order was not served. The customers that arrived after us got their orders while we were left waiting. On the first night, after we had followed up after a long wait, we had then to change the order as \"the fires were already down\" and the original order was not possible anymore. The staff were apologetic, and mistakes happen so not a big deal. We were given some free drinks.
However, when the same thing happened on the second night, where I was left to wait for my soup for a very long time, again with other tables arriving after us already being served while we didn't even have the utensils yet after more than 30 minutes. We had by that time finished the drinks. The manager brought me another drink without a prompt, which was a bit odd, and I said that the same thing what happened previous night was after happening again he didn't appear to impressed with his staff. The original waitress walked past us and ignored my question about the order so we just decided that this was it and left the restaurant.
We followed up with the hotel manager the next morning, and when we commented that it was the second time in the row where we were not being served, he was not aware of the 1st night and claimed that my soup would actually have actually been ready to serve on the 2nd night just as we walked out after 45 minutes.

We had a lovey weekend break in Letterkenny. The hotel was a short walk from the town center and across the road there are retail parks. The hotel is modern with a nice atmosphere. The superior room was a good size with air conditioning and a very comfortable king size bed. The bar food was very good & the prices reasonable. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and filling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in returning to the hotel.

This is a lovely centrally located hotel hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean while staff provide that unique Donegal welcome.
Unfortunately on this trip that welcome was missing and didn't reappear later.
Room wasn't ready at checkin. Was asked to take a seat and was assured staff were working on it and they'd call me shortly. Waited over an hour and saw many arrivals checkin and head to their rooms. Turns out they forgot about us.
At dinner that evening they tried to sit us at a low bar table when there were restaurant tables available. Not great.

Unfortunately on this trip that welcome was missing and didn't reappear later.
Room wasn't ready at checkin. Was asked to take a seat and was assured staff were working on it and they'd call me shortly. Waited over an hour and saw many arrivals checkin and head to their rooms. Turns out they forgot about us.
At dinner that evening they tried to sit us at a low bar table when there were restaurant tables available. Not great.

It was lovely to be away as we don’t get much time together. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary as my son had such a great time for his birthday celebration but we didn’t get as much as a free drink!! My son got a birthday card and chocolates delivered to his room, even something that small would have been appreciated as 20 years is a big deal!!

I’ve stayed here a few times and the hotel itself is lovely, but on this occasion my room stank of cigarette smoke for 3 days straight, couldn’t get away from the smell, as an asthmatic I wasn’t happy the hotel let this happen
