Iconic Hamburger Börs has been hosting guests since 1894 and enjoys a top location, right in the centre of Turku by the market square. This elegantly refurbished hotel provides unforgettable hotel experiences in a modern setting.

The new, modern Hamburger Börs provides peaceful accommodation in the hotel's new annexe, where stylishly designed rooms equipped with air conditioning ensure a great night's sleep. A versatile selection of rooms caters for all needs.

Some rooms overlook the market square whilst others face our quiet courtyard. Our spacious top-floor suites feature arched windows with window nooks where you can sit back and admire the city life.

The new annexe on the courtyard side is built in a style respecting the architectural features of the early 20th century. Our reception, airy lobby and spacious lounge area are all located here.

The hotel's versatile restaurant can also be found here. Our restaurant, heated winter garden and outdoor terrace are on the ground level, whilst Börs Katto rooftop bar with its large terrace is located on the 9th floor.

Very comfortable room. No bathtub though this is the only minus point in my view and the shower was a good one. Nice staff. Fabulous breakfast. Great location, views over market square lovely. Rooftop bar v pleasant. Close to transport as pretty much everything goes through the market square. Train station 15 min walk away. Would stay again. This is not a ‘fancy’ hotel but it’s very very good and far from basic.

The location of the hotel is great. It is on the central square with a lot of bus stops to travel around to do sightseeing and to easily access the port. It is also close to shopping areas. Restaurant in the hotel is beautiful and dinner and breakfast were exceptional.

Excellent in every way

Now THIS is a truly well-run and organized hotel! The AC worked well and was very quiet. The design of the room were well thought-out. The bathroom was spacious, with lots of counter space to put all your things. The staff were also professional and friendly. The hotel was also very close to many restaurants, parks, museums and the central train station too.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Turku with easy access to busses and taxes. Shops and other services were within walking distance. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Breakfast in the pleasant restaurant was amazing with plenty to choose from. The room was very tidy and pleasant with coffee making facilities and mini bar. Excellent bed and nice bathroom with good shower. Staff everywhere very helpful. We had a great stay!

A very nice comfortable hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Great shower. The rooftop bar in the evening is a romantic spot to sit and enjoy the views with an excellent cocktail. We had an early train to catch. So they arranged a tax for us and had a free takeaway breakfast for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Thoughtfully designed hotel. Quite large so a bit of a convention center vibe but the rooms were spacious, the reception area light and airy and there were lots of details like heated bathroom floors and automatic nightlight in the bathroom. The breakfast was terrific with too many options! Dinner however was a bit disappointing both in menu selection and the fact that they were seriously understaffed. This is a problem everywhere I suppose. Very good value for the money

Frontdesk service was friendly and the hotel newish and renovated with style. However for a 4-star hotel there are very little complimentary items or even essentials (no body lotion, no conditioner, no slippers etc). Cleanliness was questionable as well, my bin wasn't emptied at all for two days and towels were just thrown at a chair next to the door rather than placed in the bathroom. Carpet was full of hair and dust.

Very good location, great breakfast, though there weren't many amenities provided by the hotel, no toothbrush, no room slippers, no shavers, wasn't asking much but the amount paid to stay for 4 days there, didn't really justify with the service rendered by the staff attended to us at the reception, she behaved and sounded rather condescending upon checking in, and after travelled from the train and walking just to get to the hotel, the unfriendly attitude wasn't really expected from the reception, but generally, every other staff that I have encountered in the hotel such as waitress and servers from the hotel restaurants or the room service attendant or room making staff were all very nice and humble...

Turku classic with a new look

Very nice new look for this old Turku institution. I didn't visit the old Börs hotel, but the new look is really on the spot! Room was spacious and very elegant.

RACIST “SECURITY”

I stayed here because of the “3 restaurants”, I went and had breakfast okay everyday but during the evening they ask to see your covide pass to access the same place again ( but they dont check in the morning?), I showed them my fully vaccinated UK pass and they said its not accepted two days in a row, the first day they eventually let me in then said oh forgot to tell you we’re not serving food now and made jokes saying “you can go to ali baba kebab” and the second day I was refused to go in because the app wasn’t working and they made me sit outside for 10 mins then said the apps not accepting it and said I cannot go in, i showed them all the details of the vaccine's but they didn’t let me and laughed meanwhile they were letting all the Finnish people in with no checks. It was pure racism! They expected me to stay at the hotel and have no access to food! I had to go out and eat at some rubbish shop the first day and the second day I went to a another restaurant and their app worked so clearly MY PASS WAS VALID.

I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS RACIST PLACE AGAIN.

Huone oli tosi hieno ja siisti, plussaa vessan valoista jotka toimivat yöllä liikkeen perusteella. Iso ja mukava sänky, upea kylppäri, suihku eritoten oli mukava eikä kastellut koko lattiaa. Aamupala monipuolinen ja erittäin runsas, likaiset astiat hävisi kuin itsestään pöydiltä. Ainoa pieni miinus tuli maisemasta, joka oli työmaarappuset naapuritaloon (onneksi ne oli tunnelmavalaistu, siitä pointsit) 😉
Remontti siis kaikinpuolin onnistunut. Henkilökunta avuliasta ja hymyilevää sorttia.
