Breakfast was plentiful and room was great in every way except for the automatic lights in the bathroom. They went on every time I moved and I had to turn them off probably ten times. I like a dark bathroom when I get up during the night and that was impossible. Otherwise great hotel

Just spent one night to attend a family party, hotel has been recently renovated. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and the room is nice and comfortable. The breakfast room was nice and the quality of food was good. Would recommend.

A pleasant stay in Savonlinna
Room was clean and comfortable. Airconditioning in one room was a bit noisy. We booked 3 rooms, the other two didn’t have this issue. The Muikkuterassi on top of the building is a great place to enjoy the view and their excellent vendaces. A speciality of the region. Better stay on weekends as from Monday till Thursday the town is pretty quiet and places are either close or close early.

The hotel was very expensive when i travelled to area on business. The rooms are dated but have great tv. Breakfast is in resturant next door in morning which you have to go outside to get too which is abit awkward.

Night club under the hotel. No sleep possible. Room so small you can't open your luggage. Night tables ripped from the bedwall and not replaced or covered up. You can place your belonging on the floor. Hurray!

This hotel is located right on the lake and our room had a magnificent view as did the sauna. The bed was a little hard and there were no face washers while the room was quite small, but the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent.

The location of this hotel is excellent with a view over the market place and the lake. Friendly and helpful service in the reception - I was also informed about the renovations that were being done in the hotel as well as possible issues with noise from the nightclub in my room as it was located above to the entrance to the club. I didn't notice anything during my stay though.
The standard room that I got was clean but small and outdated so the renovations are welcome. The air conditioning unit in the room was noisy but luckily the weather was not too hot and I could set the ac off. The WiFi was fast and easy to get access to, my stay was overall satisfying.

Clean, overpriced but comfortable
Clean rooms and a lovely view. The cost is fairly high even for Finland considering that the room is relatively basic and the breakfast is average. It was also a little disappointing that the hotel restaurant was out of action because there isn't much available after 9pm in Savonlinna (quite a small town). However, the staff were very friendly and the hotel is very centrally located. Good wifi.

Hotelli sijaitsee keskellä kaupuinkia joten kaikkialle on lyhyt kävelymetka. Huone oli siisti ja tilva ja ikkunassta oli hieno näköala torille ja järvelle. Parasta oli heltreisenä påivänä ilmastointi, jolla huoneen sai viileäksi. Kylpyhuone oli siisti ja tilava. Aamiainen oli aivän super. Jos menen ensi kesänä oopperajuhlille niin majoitun tähän hotelliin.

We had some issues with the booking. Personnel was at first a bit confused but then they got it solved. Young personnel didn’t now much about facilities. E.g. they didn’t know about EV charging. Extra bed mattress was installed upside down.

Kauhea humina huoneessa. Ilmastointi oli pois päältä mutta kauhea humina. Itselläni korvatulpat jotka pitävät erityisen hyvin äänet poissa mutta nekään eivät estäneet tätä humina-pörinää. En mene toiste jos aion nukkuakin. Hyvitykseksi tarjottiin aamulla kahvikuponkeja. En huolinut vaan äänestän jaloilla ensi kerralla. Aamupala cappuccino koneen maitoa ei tullut. Ehdotus oli ottaa mustaa kahvia tai lisätä kylmää maitoa. No saatiin kone toimimaan. Aamupala melko hyvä ässän aamupalaksi. Aulassa ystävällinen palvelu. Mutta ei siis oikein nukkumapaikka 13h työpäivän jälkeen. Parempaakin löytyy.

Huone 329 oli ihanan tilava ja maisemat ikkunoista oli kivat. Muikkuterassi katolla oli myös todella kiva paikka käydä syömässä ja juomassa. Huoneessa oli yöllä hieman turhan lämmin eikä ilmastointia saanut säädettyä. Aamupala oli myös aika kehno mutta muuten yleisesti viihdyimme hyvin hotellissa. Sijainti oli myös todella hyvä ja hotellin sähöpyörillä pyöräily oli älyttömän mukavaa.

Tarjolla oli yksi muki kahvia/ teetä, vaalea metvurstilla täytetty kuivahko sämpylä, jogurtti, marjoja puoli dl, pullan pala, energiapatukka, keitetty kananmuna ja appelsiinituoremehu. Normaaliolosuhteissa en olisi syönyt mitään näistä, mutta kun ei edes tarjottu vaihtoehtoja saatika kysytty allergioita. Hotellissa on normaalisti aivan ihana aamupala, mutta nyt jouduin pettymään.
