We asked to move from our first room bc it hadn't been cleaned. Hallways and entry smelled like weed. Rooms were dirty, toilet seats were falling off, bed linens had stains, there was dried snot on the walls, stains on the roof. There was drug addicts walking around asking to bum a smoke off us. Awful experience.

The bathroom ceiling was leaking, it smells like cigarettes. The AC in one room didn’t work. The refrigerator didn’t work. There is no microwaves in the rooms but they have a refrigerator. Will never stay at a Wyndham hotel again. Everyone of them I have stayed at it a bad experience.

This hotel was absolutely gross. Nothing like the photos at all. The entire place smelled of weed and mildew. I had 6 rooms and changed them all about 15 times. The ac wouldn’t work, they all had pubic hairs in the sheets/pillows, there was mold on the sheets and all over the room. The people staying there were extremely sketchy to say the least. I would not have stayed if it was free. I finally got my group to gather their things and we left and found a new hotel. After getting to the new hotel right around the block, I was informed by them that the Baymont had been closed for nearly two years and wasn’t even suppose to be open. If I could give a 0 star I would.

Both sinks clogged, torn sheets. Pee on bathroom floore, broken towel rack, windon on ground floor wouldnt lock, no drink machine working at breakfast, no garbage can either so we had to use the one in the parking lot. And i had to beg the front desk for one water bottle bottleoshare with 4 people

Staff was not friendly, and they did not care about breakfast. Why would a hotel post breakfast included but dont serve any.Well maybe at 6.00 but we got there at 8.00am and there was no juice, out of order. Coffee was done and there was no food left. All they had was cereal and muffins. We ask and they just said they were out. No remorse what so ever. It shows a Gym too and it was a blank space, no machines at all. its like if they were just opening the hotel. But then in our hall there were rooms with leaky faucets. I felt bad for one family who had their door open with Water all over the floor and i mean all over. They called maintenance about an hour before and nothing. That sucks in the morning especially if your trying to get dress. The sites pictures are mislead and should be a violation. The only reason why i booked it was becuase of the pictures and description. This place needs to be updated with Friendly staff and better customer service. I wont recommend this hotel to anyone.

Booked on Expedia. Hotel tried to charge be again and double. Card was locked and couldn’t use my funds while in town. Breakfast was horrible. No drinks , not even water. Only had oranges apples and waffles. In the room, couldn’t turn on celling fan without tripping GFI plugs. Half the outlet’s worked others didn’t. I will never stay here again. Wish I could get half my money back at least.

The room was shabby. No mini fridge, an inoperable ceiling fan, and a ac unit that made a lot of racket when it kicked on. It woke me up several times throughout the night.
Breakfast was waffles or bread and beagles with a toaster. If you are like me and don’t drink coffee, you were SOL as that is all that was available to drink.

No coffee but had a maker that uses the pods. They weren’t out, they just don’t offer as complimentary. Fridge taken out of rooms but not off website description. The biggest atrocity was the blood and pee stains in the sheets. We avoided any “breakfast” due to the condition of the motel.
Plenty of choices in the area. Avoid this one.

Nightmare happened!!!!!!

so I booked our room in May and had got emails confirming our reservations and the day comes for vacation and we pull up to the hotel and there was one car in parking lot and a man inside so the kids and I walk in the door and there place was hollow and I look at the man and say we had rooms booked here he said he was sorry but the building was under construction and here are my children and I stuck 4 1/2 hours away with no place to stay no emails letting us know what was going on or anything!! I hate to put a bad review in but this is truly necessary for people to know!!!!!

Upon arrival we discovered the hotel had been closed by the Fire Marshal. We had to make other reservations on our own. I’m requesting refund from Expedia. I had to pay for the new accommodations.

I cancelled the return flight with Spirit Airlines because they cancelled our original direct flight from DFW to MSY and did not offer another direct flight.

The rental car pickup was at DAL instead of DFW and they did not offer shuttle service.

I’m requesting refund on hotel and return flight via Spirit Airlines.

I had paid the hotel room about a year ago for a concert that was rescheduled for the date of my actual stay. I never received word that the hotel was undergoing renovation. I was given a first floor room that had a dirty floor, the sheets looked clean but smelled weird and had a window leading to the parking lot, that seemed to have been vandalized. By the time we arrived, we had no other option. Front desk did not let us know about the condition of the room. He only said they were undergoing renovation and that we couldn't ask for a refund once we signed in. I thought this comment was a bit strange but thought nothing of it at the moment. When we saw the room, I understood why he said that.

Weekend family trip

Paid about $85 total for a one night stay. Wasn’t rated high, or low so thought it was a fair price. Wasn’t expecting much, but the hotel was in extreme decline. I would say this is a $50 a night hotel. When we arrived, the front desk personal tried telling me they required a cash only deposit of $60. I told him I was blindsided by that as almost all places only take card for accidentals. After a few minutes he went ahead and checked me in without the deposit. They were in the process of renovating sections of the hotel so their “free breakfast” was boiled eggs, muffins, coffee, and juice. Also do to the renovations, there was dust and dirt everywhere. There was a strange smell of what I think was mold and cigarettes throughout the hotel. Our room looked to be “renovated” with new flooring however the cabinets were falling apart, the walls were scratched and damaged all over, the sink was disgusting, the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, the shower was falling apart and stained all over. Definitely nowhere near $85 especially when there are so many other hotel close by. I would recommend staying far away from this establishment.

Terrible Experience at this Hotel

Upon arrival the hotel was under renovation which we were unaware of, but okay with. However, once we got to our room the room was not clean, had yellow skittles on the floor, no ice bucket, no working phone, no working refrigerator, 2 lamps with missing light bulbs and one towel for my husband and I. This was addressed with Peter, Sam and management and I was told it would be taken care of first thing the next morning when house keeping cleaned the room. It wasn’t. The room wasn’t cleaned at all; skittles still on the floor, bed not made, no towels and no workin appliances. Furthermore, this was the weekend of the Dallas Cowboys playoff game so hotel prices were elevated. Upon departure I asked them to at least compensate me for one night. To date nothing has been done to make this right. I will be reporting them to the BBB if not taken care of.

I would NEVER go here again!

The bed was clean and comfortable.
The towels were clean
The room was terrible.
The AC unit was very loud.
The TV was governed to a low volume.
The TV remote did no work.
The blow dryer fell off of the wall.
The shower curtain rail had been put up with metal shims to hold it up
The tub was cracked.
The lamp at the bed did not work.
One of the electrical outlets did not work.
The furniture was worn and chipped.
I would not think of using the microwave or refrigerator!
The hallway carpet was missing in front of 6 rooms.
The hall windows were messy.
The lobby had plastic up that look permanent.
The morning breakfast had run out of coffee. It had waffle or boiled egg.
I would never ever recommend this place.

Too good to be true

Upon entering the hotel that the whole place is under renovation there's loud noise, and to top it off once we get to the register even though it wasn't listed under the listing on the website immediately we were told we couldn't check in unless there was $60 deposit paid in cash before we can check in. The rooms their self were good even though somebody has stolen the microwave they the bathroom was not clean so there is that. After about 30 minutes there as we are getting ready falling asleep taking a nap but the loudest noise in the world starts going off and every alarm in every room starts going off and continue to go off at even after we got hung up on reporting it at the front counter over the phone trying to inform them that the alarm for going off they stayed on for the next 30 minutes giving us such migraine the rest of just stay was unenjoyable. We didn't have clean towels after taking a shower for only about 30 seconds to complete cold water no hot. And to top it off as we were trying to get our very hard-earned $60 deposit back in the morning they made my husband go inside and so his ID like we were some kind of common criminal search the room top to bottom make sure we had this place to towel or anything and had such an attitude that we told them that we were going to talk to the parent company window about this believe me when I say sometimes too good to be true on price really is too good to be true

The outside appearance was below any standard Baymont I have ever been to. The inside is under renovation but the part that is still accessible is not well kept. The wardrobe in my room was old and falling apart, the refrigerator did not get cold and was very noisy the entire time, the shower water did not get warm at all and the hallway did smell a bit off. I paid for 2 guest and the manager was very rude to my husband after I left. When my husband was getting breakfast the manager asked if he was staying there (the manager saw and assisted my husband the night prior). My husband told him yes, our room number and that we would be checking out this day, the manger proceeded to tell him after he finished his breakfast he had to leave (which was WELL before check out time). Ultimately it was an unpleasant experience.

They are under construction and have black plastic hanging up everywhere!! I go to check in and the guy at the counter told me three times that it’s nonsmoking and I told him I don’t smoke! But yet again told me I would be charged if they smelled smoke! I went to my room and I don’t know the tv channels so I asked at the front desk and he told me they don’t have a tv guide or anything! Disguised Motel not a hotel.

If Wyndham is going to claim Baymont associated with them, they need to really look into renovating this location. The wallpaper is peeling off everywhere you look. There are stains on walls of halls and rooms along with ceiling. Got a king room for 2. We had to ask for extra pillows because the ones in the room were flat. They gave us 1 more so sleeping was terrible. The dresser was broken. OH, and it says including breakfast, well that consisted of waffles, coffee, juice, and bagged muffins. No fruit, yogurt, other options other than carbs. Suck for anyone with restrictions. We will not be using them again when we return in a month. This is a Motel on the inside. Was not worth it.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and I'm 67 years old so I've stayed in plenty of dumps. As the elevator doors opened on our floor the first thing I noticed was water damage on the opposite wall. Walking down the hall I saw live wires from the ceiling where a number of ceiling tiles had been removed leaving the wires exposed. The small refrigerator in our room made so much noise that I had to unplug it. The heater was just as bad but it was cold so I left it on. The bathtub needs repair. My daughters room was worse. The bedroom window with the entire steel frame collapsed into their room. Luckily no one was inside the room at the time or someone could have gotten hurt. Fortunately they were moved to another room. A continental breakfast is offered but it consisted of boiled eggs, white bread, and you could make your own waffles. That's it! Nothing else! Unbelievable. No more Baymonts for us.

The sheets were dirty with body hair when I went to get into bed after a long day of travel. Husband went to the front desk to get clean sheets just so we could get some rest but the bed was never remade in the entire three nights we stayed there. There were six of us in a suite and they would only give us four towels so my husband had to go ask for two more towels every night. The TV would not get any service, the World Series was on and NFL football and we could not watch any of it!! Terrible stay!

They had rented my suite out. When I arrived they tried to convince me that I had the incorrect check in date. I showed confirmation and had no reason for suite not being available. I arrived with my family a handicapped person, a senior citizen, and two kids and myself. I have never felt so un safe for our lives. After waiting an hour and a half . I finally gave them an option of they givi g me two rooms which they did not want to provide. He did coment like acroos the street is anothwe hotel. Why would If i had been charged already. The place is run down . They finally accommodate me on the fourth floor. Oh yeah elevators dont work. Do not stay there wish I could of gotten a refund back horrible horrible experience.

Don't expect an updated super fancy hotel /room. The room has the bare necessities and is fairly clean. Breakfast was satisfying . Most importantly I felt safe having my family and car stay there overnight. Plus it's a 15 minute walk from the park and 5 mins from a couple restaurants. Good deal for a great price.

Checked in. Language barrier was terrible wanted a $50 cash deposited which I told him no finally gave us our keys. Got to our room about 11pm. At 130am phone rang 145am knocked on door told us they gave us wrong room 2am wanted us to move rooms. Told them we have kids we will move in the morning. 230am knocked wanted me to check my card to make sure we was charged at check in. Told him that I would be down in the morning to make sure it was all settled and we would move rooms.

7am phone ran and 705 knocked on door needs us out cause they had to clean the room cause the other people were going to be there. Got the kids up and we moved rooms. Hotel is under construction pool was out of order the whole time. breakfast was never up to par had to ask every morning for juices to be replaced and waffle mix to be restocked, Definitely will never be staying here again.

Worst place...Don't stay

At check in the frint desk staff tells me i need a $50 cash deposit. Why? put on the card, no we need the cash...others complain about the hold for 5 to 7 days. So, has notning to do with me. Get to the room, tub has someone else hair and body soil in tub like they used it and didn’t clean it. Elevator was not working and we will was on the 3rd floor. Get to stairs there is roach on wall hanging out. Hallways down stairs smell wet. Room was hot and then cool then hot. Breakfast was terrible. Boiled eggs, bread and waffle maker that burn everytime. Thats it.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The first red flag was when they told us that they didn't have the exact room that was shown online, but they gave us connecting rooms to makeup for it. We walked in both rooms and it was 90 degrees in both rooms, they had turned the air conditioning off, we had older family members that this was too much for them. We went to go use the elevator which we rode up on, and 30 minutes later when we went to get something to eat and give the room time to cool off it was broken. This made it where we could not go get something to eat because we had 5 disabled people with us and they could not climb up or down the stairs without a lot of pain or risk. Well, they didn't have a choice because 10 minutes after that, the fire alarm started going off and they were forced to go down 3 flights of stairs. My husband is a veteran, who served this country and because of that he is disabled, it took great effort to get everybody down the stairs. We had to wait outside in the heat for the fire truck to come clear the building. We could not afford to go to another hotel because we paid for this one, the elevator was broken for the whole entirety of our stay there basically making my family confined to the hotel. We had to pick and choose which family events that we could go to because it was so hard on them to go up and down the stairs. Holes in the walls, terrible smelling, roaches in the bathrooms, it was probably the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel. No refund was offered.

Wasn't informed of a $50 CASH ONLY deposit that was required for the room upon arrival, hotel smelled like smoke, didn't see any other visitors but was put on the 4th floor with a broken elevator, TV didn't work, the shower was full of hair upon arrival

Unbelievable…….moldy smell all in the halls. Elevator not working so we had to take the stairs. Holes in the walls. Metal pieces sticking out of bed frame that my husband cut his leg on. Very unkept.

The room was hot. The elevator got stuck so had to go up and down 4 flights of stairs with bone on bone disks in my back.

The concert got canceled last minute and Expedia would not refund my money

Very disappointed/Not worth the money

I was very disappointed in this hotel. The floor in the room was dirty, we didn’t have washcloths or toilet paper, the toilet seat was barely attached and the lid would not stay raised up. Breakfast was the worst I’ve ever seen out of all the places I’ve stayed. My husband is diabetic and the only thing he could eat was boiled eggs. Waffles, muffins and white bread are not diabetic friendly. Some fruit would have been nice to have especially for what the price of the room cost!

the room my son was in didnt have a working tv the plug ins case was coming out of the wall the phone in the room was not even plugged in. The room had left over hair around the sink.

What an embarrassing hotel for Wyndham. Plastic shower curtain had a giant melted spot (like big enough to put your arm through) drywall spackaling everywhere (white on gray paint), electrical face plates off or broken apart (exposed wiring), towel bar was bent bad (next to the other broken off one). Furniture was bad / distroyed (missing corners & handles). I killed several roaches. Halls smelled like cat urine.

but for $50/night, not so bad. (rm209)

AC units in both rooms weren’t working properly so it made for a hot night. Ended up have to book another hotel for the remainder two nights. So I’m hoping I can at least get a refund for the two nights I didn’t stay at this hotel.

Overall our stay was pleasant. Easy access to Six Flags and interstate. Room was clean and a/c kept the room ice cold. It is an older establishmemt that could definitely used some much needed upgrades. For the amount of time we stayed, it was enjoyable.

Do not stay at this place. The cleaning services do not clean the rooms at all. Our floor was black and dirty, the sheets were stained with ink and what looked like feces. Immediately requested a new room and that claimed the cleaning employees said it was cleaned. Brought down the dirty sheets and demanded cleaning as soon as they arrived the next morning. There was dust all over the ceiling and spider webs in the corner of the room. Our room wasn’t cleaned until 10am the next day. Breakfast was hot boiled eggs and a dirty waffle machine. Pool was closed. The only two good things about this place was the mini fridge and a/c unit worked.

We checked out prior to our check out date. The curtain was closed with a lock that had holes in the curtain. The shower head was hanging off the wall but connected by the plumbing and paint in the restroom was bubbled and peeling off the walls

Staff and services are excellent but the property itself needs a lot of maintenance first room had broken fridge and phone we were moved to the second room AC went out we were moved to the third room where we spent the night worrying about the missing latch on the door

Worst Stay Ever

Worst experience ever. This used to be a good hotel. Save your money spend the extra money go somewhere else. The rooms are dirty the sheets are nasty looks like they just go in from the last guest and make the bed up and not change the sheets. Our first room was nasty dirty toilet didn’t work. We were moved to another room better but no microwave or refrigerator the AC worked but the shower head was falling off. The lobby AC didn’t work they had towels under the AC units in the lobby. Towels under doors
On the first floor. Breakfast was a joke.
The guys working in the reception area were not friendly. We asked them a question all they said was I don’t know I just work here. They were on their phone but wouldn’t answer the phone when we called. Very disappointed
