Hotel is very close to restaurants and shopping, the main train station is 20min walk but on the way u do get to c a lot of history. If u don't want a walk the 8 and 9 tram stops outside hotel and goes to train station. I would definitely use this hotel again its clean, staff were great, a bar. Gym,

Property needs the rooms refurbising to being it up to date in 2024. It's fine for a short stay, it's weird the toilet is in a different section to the shower. The mattress I had to get replaced as I could feel the springs. Highlight was the staff, really helpful and polite and that makes a big difference.

The hotel is in a good location, the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly.
My only complaint was the key to my room was given to a male and he came into the room as i was getting out of the shower. Not a mistake that should have happened.

Excellent place to stay in while visiting Gdańsk. Great location and very close to restaurants and main attractions. Staff was very helpful and courteous when asked for transportation ideas for Hel. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Only suggestion would be to have more parking for guests but we did manage to find a spot. I would definitely stay there again!

It was a good experience, because of the good condition of the hotel, great variety of food for breakfast, relatively quiet location of the hotel in town and closeness to public transport as well as to the old town. However, the bed was too soft and the bedsheet didn't properly fit the bed, so every morning it was off the bed. I turn around in the bed a few times every night.

Really enjoyed staying here. Great to have tabke tennis and table football downstairs. We made good use of that. Hotel really walkable to town centre and close to a tram stop for further trips. Would thoroughly recommend to families.

This hotel is in a handy location a short walk from the main part of the old town and Dulgi targ. The breakfast had a good selection and the facilities were great for the kids, a playground, small indoor play area suitable for young kids and also a ping-pong table, füssball table and a games console for guests to use in the lobby/ bar area. Rooms were clean and tidy and had what you need for a short break.

Very enjoyable stay

Location of the hotel is very central and just a few minutes from the old town across the bridge. It in a quiet part of town.

We arrived a bit earlier than the official check in time but our room was ready so we were allowed to check in. The reception staff were speedy, friendly and very efficient.

The reception area is bright and modern. Quiet a few guests have mentioned the table tennis and the fusball table which we didn’t use but the kids in the hotel seemed to enjoy it.

Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was soft when we sat on it but it was a memory foam mattress so no problem when lying down. Good selection of pillows.

The air con worked well and very quiet on the lowest setting which is a real plus as some air con units can be very noisy.

Good selection of toiletries (Rituals brand which is very popular in the UK).

Enough TV channels in most of the European languages to watch a bit of TV whilst getting ready.

The only slight negative was the sofa (sofa bed) which could do with a clean but other than that the room was great.

The breakfast was superb with a good selection of hot and cold food and plenty of coffee choices at the machine and we didn’t have to spend time queuing for our coffee. Good selection for children including pancakes and the obligatory chocolate Nutella.

The water fountains with cold water on each floor were a nice addition.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be on our list for next time.

No air conditioning,no sockets,the sofa bed has terrible springs and you can hurt your back,pillows are to big,the housekeepers never hoover the room or clean the dust.We stay there for 5 days.The 5⭐️⭐️ I will give for breakfast.Good selection,fresh and tasty.
The hotel is in center of Gdansk so is close to everywhere.

The hotel is located in very close proximity to the Gdansk Old Town. Easy to find. Great starting point to explore Gdansk.
Friendly staff, clean, air-conditioned rooms. Little fridge in the room very helpful with the tropical weather we experienced.
Pet friendly ☺️. Very happy with the whole experience. Will probably come back in the future.

Easy, smooth check in despite arriving few hours prior to the check-in time (we booked 2 rooms). Family oriented lobby with lots of games/entertainment available to the guests. Outstanding choices for breakfast, great food service staff; depleted items were refilled momentarily and dirty dishes left by hotel guests were picked up in a timely manner. Very clean and pleasant rooms with great views. One of the rooms to my supprise had an oriental theme. A big thank you to the hotel staff as I left my passport and cash in safe and notice the lack of after few hours after checking out. I was contacted in a timely manner and all the left belongings were waiting for me at the reception. In future, when staying in Gdansk I will stay at this hotel only.

Great location for old town but VERY NOISY!!!

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the start of the old town street, which is great. Unfortunately our room overlooked a nightclub that kept us awake with booming music until 4am for the 2 nights we stayed. We didn’t sleep all night and came back one afternoon to have a nap because we were so tired. We paid to Extend our stay so we could sleep in the afternoon before our flight home so sadly missed out on that afternoon sightseeing. It was very clean and good location but I’d not stay again because of the night club noise.

Good hotel, great location and price

Nice weekend stay. The location is really good, it's only a short 5 minute walk into the old town. The hotel is easy to get from the airport, and is about £7 each way for an Uber. Ubers are allowed to the hotel, but they aren't available in the old town itself.
Lots of nice bars and restaurants around old town, and all easily accessible from the Novotel.
It's not the nicest location, as there some building work going on, but that didn't cause us any problems and there was no noticeable noise

So this hotel is weird. Location is very good - 5min walk from old town, so great (usually staying in old town in Poland is a mistake as there’s a lot of partying and loud noises into the night). But it’s close enough to be very convenient.

I contacted hotel 3 times by Expedia email to ask them to book me a taxi: no answer. So I contacted through Facebook message, and then they replied (and got me the taxi for free). They also let me stay until 3:30 (check out at noon) without charge. But equally the guy at reception was a bit of a jerk regarding my taxi booked on return.

So overall staff experience not consistently fab.

The room itself was quite comfortable, although the price I paid on Expedia seems half of what’s advertised on reception area (usually it’s cheaper to book directly?) There were containers of complimentary peanuts, m&m and jelly beans, water and a coffee machine (no kettle as such). Good shower, bathroom and toiletries. Bed comfy and lots and lots of pillows.

I hope they sort out staff soon as otherwise it would have been perfect.

- disappointed to get a room key where another guest was already booked, imagine the plight and shock of that guest when I opened the door. I had to go to the reception again and then get a new room (not acceptable in my opinion)
- bath accessories (soap, shampoo,...) not replenished, must have been an oversight by the cleaning staff
- poor bar staff, took 10 mins to even notice me and take my order as she was busy in a conversation with other local customers.
- reception area poorly lit, bar appearance very sleepy.

Hotel had a modern feel, is clean and the staff are helpful and friendly.
Room was spacious, clean, and the beds were comfy.
Only reason the hotel didn’t get a rating of 5 was the expensive restaurant compared to other places only a few yards away, and the amount of building work going on around, which wasn’t noisy, but spoilt the surroundings.
Hotel is ideally placed to get to all attractions in Gdansk, perfect location.

Location excellent. Staff extremely friendly, helped to park on a secure car park. Our car was 4x4 with roof box- their car park is not underground so No problem at all! Breakfast with lots of choices and the wafers which you can make yourself are a great attraction! Rooms are clean and tidy. Fairly good standard. Perfect choice for short city breaks.

The stay was good, staff was helpful and spoke English ( we struggled outside the hotel)
The hotel is not easily accessible by public transport- taxi or walking is the only means!

Great place and location

The hotel is right in the middle of the action. 5 mins walk and you are right in the tourist are of Gdansk.
There dies seem to be a lot of building works nearby and you hop the hotel doesn't get lost within the future hotels or offices. Although they look like really nice waterfront apartments. The hotel was was to find and even though I taxidermy from the airport there is plenty of car parking. It's also close to the trains to travel to Soppet or Gydinia.
Rooms are lovely and the views not bad.
Clean and livable.
I would stay again especially if I had my 4 yr old with me as there is plenty for children to do. There's a plays tat ion and computer games other toys books etc. All in good condition.

The bedroom was very basic and bland and poorly laid out with a light covering half the television but the bathroom was good.
The breakfast was very good with a large variety of well presented food.

First class hotel with excellent location

On arrival at this fine hotel we were warmly received by Artur at reception. This man is an outstanding advert for the Novotel Gdansk Centrum with his friendly and professional attitude to guests.He really went the extra mile to make sure we had an enjoyable stay in Gdansk which Artur is rightly proud of with good reason.We were allocated a great room with every possible comfort including a fridge, safe, wide screen TV,free wifi and tea/coffee making facilities. The standard of housekeeping was wonderful with our room kept in immaculate condition by the hardworking room maids.The hotel itself is in a terrific location with the historic old town of Gdansk just a short walk away along with most of the visitor attractions. Gdansk is a beautiful city, clean and very safe.We even found it very good value for money notwithstanding the recent fall of the pound sterling against the Polish Zloty. We would definitely recommend the Novotel Gdansk Centrum to friends and other visitors as our experience of staying there was so positive.
