The property was in a good location, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the bed was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard it hurt. That was the only down side to stay, everything else was excellent.

We enjoyed staying in the suite which had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/dining/living area and a big balcony with a fantastic view of the ocean along lungomare. The hotel has a modern Zen design. The cleaning staff were amazing. The breakfast selection of fruits, cereals, eggs, cheeses, charcuteries, pastries were delicious and nutritious, and they also provided lactose free milk and soy beverages, also yummy cappuccinos.
The only complaint we have is the uncomfortable beds as the mattress was too firm and hard, it felt like I was sleeping on a board which made my body ache so I did not sleep well. The hotel needs to provide better and comfortable beds for their guests.

The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean and right by the beach but also has a pool. The breakfast was good with continental and American style food. We had an apartment-style room which was perfect for us. I think it is the nicest hotel in San Benedetto.

The Smeraldo hotel is absolutely top-notch in every way, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely return the next time we visit San Benedetto del Tronto. Our room was super clean, spacious, and well-appointed and had a large balcony with a fantastic view of the Adriatic.

The hotel is beautiful and appears to be pretty new. Our friends who live here say it is one if only two five star hotels in the area. It has a very new design and almost everything is white. It must be a nightmare to keep clean and that is one criticism my wife and her cousin had. They said there was a persistent smell of Clorox (bleach) or chlorine that was too strong and unpleasant. We had a suit with a view over the beach and also ti the side of the pool with two bedrooms and two baths which could actually sleep 5 and two terraces. There was a full and well equipped kitchen. In short it was an elegant holiday rental.

This is a beautiful property across the street from the beach. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. There is limited parking in an underground garage, but you have to ask about it. Unfortunately, the weather has been cold and rainy and not conducive to outdoor activity, so no comments on the nice pool.
One note -- if you are here on a Sunday night, most restaurants are closed (including the one in the hotel), so you will need to cruise the area and just grab one that appears open.

This is a lovely property probably one of the best in San Benedetto del Tronto. However, our check-in did not go well as our arrival was delayed by Trenitalia problems and they gave us a very dingy room in the back.

Absolutely amazing! Great location, great amenities, outstanding staff, and within walking distance for whatever you would need. We received a discount on cabanas when we went to the beach. The free breakfast had an adequate selection of pastries, meat, cheeses, and beverages. The hotel was spotless, housekeeping was fantastic, and was there if you ever needed anything extra. We have stayed in other hotels in San Benedetto, but not anymore, Smeraldo Suites & Spa will be our permanent accommodation going forward! We had the Deluxe Suite that slept 5, and 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a stocked kitchen with pots, pans, silverware, refrigerator, and microwave. A sleeper sofa in the living area with a balcony overlooking the Adriatic with seating for 4.

Stayed here one night on an Italian road trip..great location on the beachfront..hotel has its own underground car park. Decent size pool that was well used. Within walking distance of great bars and restaurants/cafes. If you are an LGBT traveller a bar on the beach front offers a friendly welcoming atmosphere with cheap drinks and snacks. Pity we didn’t stay here longer...

Very mixed feelings.
The hotel itself is newly renovated and is well appointed. Staff was very pleasant. Our room had a balcony that had a partial view of the sea, but it was also overlooking the ugly flood channel. Ask for a pool side room. Room was large, clean, and modern with a good sized fridge/freezer (important when road tripping). Shower was tiny and not well designed. Bed was hard and there was no real blanket. A thin spread that did not keep us warm. Breakfast was better than expected with a super automatic cappuccino machine, fresh fruit, pastries, and an egg dish. Biggest issue was the town itself. It is incredibly crowded and devoid of anything special. It could have been a beach town in half a dozen countries we have visited.

The room was nice and clean and was very close to the beach. Umbrellas and chairs on the beach were affordably priced. There was a language barrier though trying to schedule any spa services so never were able to schedule anything which was disappointing. It's in a great location for beach and food. We were disappointed with our \"sea view\" balcony, though the balcony itself is a great size. The view was mostly of the drainage canal instead of the sea, but if you tried really hard you could see a little tiny bit of the sea way off to the side.

Building is grand,modern and clean but in the suits which had a Kitchenette there was no kettle or even a single fork and knife,in contrary there was blender in cupboard !Breakfast was very basic and limited and the cups of teas needed to be washed to be topped up !Staff were very polite and receiving guests with smiley face .The hotel management need to realise that a building only doesn't make a hotel 5 *,in fact the service and the facilities in rooms contribute greatly to this .This hotel facilities is less than a bed and breakfast.

Excellent hotel in most respects. Very clean hotel and rooms, very helpful staff. Level of English speaking was very good. Good breakfast. Location is great if you are looking for a quiet place on the beach. Too long to walk to downtown, but the goal is to stay on the beach....so downtown is just a few minutes drive. Bed could be more comfortable. Well equipped suite with fridge dishes, and dishwasher (including cleaning soap!) but did not have any cutlery. Pool was excellent. Secure free parking was a nice touch.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen fully equipped with all the appliances including a blender (!!!). Not that we even planned to use it in the beginning, but after our son refused to eat restaurant food, this turned out to be very useful! The hotel looked very new, everything was white and super clean, it almost felt as if no one stayed in our room ever before. We had a suit with a bedroom and a living room/kitchen, it was spacious and as I mentioned well equipped. The hotel has a nice spa area downstairs - again very clean and pleasant. There was also a playground and bike rental right on the premises. Underground parking was also very convenient.

De arquitetura estranha, de gosto muito duvidoso - estilo Cidade do Leste, no Paraguai ou destas cidades perdidas na Ásia, este hotel tem sido uma “muito grata sua presa”! Os funcionários são super atenciosos, tem uma vista linda da praia em frente - que também não é as nossas praias, mas tem um azul lindo, é tranquilo, bem iluminado, tem garagem, excelente custo-benefício, um spa relativamente grande ( de mesmo estilo arquitetônico! ); mas super limpo, silencioso, com saunas e piscinas sempre disponíveis, e muitas massagens… Estou gostando tanto da calma, do lugar tranquilo, que até estendi minha estadia…

Purtroppo non sono stati minimamente in grado di gestire il problema che si è verificato con l'aria condizionata che non funzionava nella stanza e nonostante abbia richiesto più volte che trovassero una soluzione... non sono stati in grado di offrire nulla di meglio di un cambio stanza a poche ore dalla partenza (8) e dopo che avevo riportato il problema più volte nel corso dei 3 giorni precedenti... con 36 gradi all'esterno e 27 in camera... direi che l'esperiena non è da 4 stelle. Mi sarei atteso una maggiore attenzione e meno menefreghismo rispetto al problema segnalato...

Per una mancata informativa da parte della reception ci è stata rimossa l' autovettura per un evento del comune, dopo che all' arrivo avevamo chiesto informazioni riguardo il parcheggio e ci era stato assicurato di poter parcheggiare davanti l' hotel questo è successo a noi ed ad altri clienti.
Immagino che il comune abbia avvertito gli hotel in largo anticipo. Molto probabilmente alla reception qualcuno si è dimenticato di avvertire i clienti.
Probabilmente non è una recensione sui generis ma penso che un hotel posizionato su territorio debba informare i clienti su tutti gli eventi del comune che possono creare danni alla propria clientela. Ci saremmo aspettati di esserne informati fase di check-in magari forzandoci a utilizzare il parcheggio a pagamento.

Personale eccezionale: molto gentile, accogliente e disponibile. Colazione molto varia e molto buona sopratutto da notare la signora che prepara personalmente i dolci della colazione complimenti. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati molto bene insieme alla mia compagna sotto tutti gli aspetti compreso il servizio spa. Ci complimenti amo sopratutto della gentilezza e della voglia di aiutare in tutto e per tutto i propri clienti.
