Reminded me of Mom & Pop motel ☺️ all rooms opened to the parking lot and provided an actual key to our room. Staff very pleasant, room nice, fairly small but very fine. Frig, MW, ice at office, launfry available. Only needed room one night there in Brunswick. Plenty of free parking. Easy to find.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Shower had great pressure. What more can you ask for? Staff were very nice. Breakfast was probably the low point. Coffee was ok but the food options not so great. No big deal. Room was not expensive so going out for breakfast was no big deal. Various good options in the area. We stayed for a week and would definitely stay here again if we return.

The room was spacious, but the bedding was older and there was a huge stain on the carpet by the door as well as other stains on the floor. Walls are thin and we were awakened at 5:30 by our upstairs neighbors walking around and speaking loudly.

WiFi barely worked. Breakfast was mostly packaged things and cereal.
But the room was very clean, fridge was actually big enough for sodas with a working tiny freezer section, and having windows that can be opened is wonderful to have when the weather is nice.

Many great things on/in this property including the man checking me in and the huge parking lot with everything pretty quiet. Also saw 1 room for laundry although it only had 2 washers and 2 dryers - coin operated. 1-2 vending machines outside. Everything appeared to be very clean and everything worked well except the Wifi. Here are the few cons: Wifi in the room barely crosses 3 on the download and barely crosses 2 on the upload so streaming is out unless you go sit in your car near the office. Internet worked fine in the room but at times, buffered. Another con is the bathtub, dresser, bedspread etc are very old. All in all, a good place for the price! Could use updating and a MUCH better wifi booster. Amato's down the street may be a 6-7 on a Maine Italian scale but growing up near New Haven, they, like every other pizza joint in Maine is horrible for pizza but adequate for everything else. There is also a Subway and McDonalds and I think I saw a sports bar tucked away in the back somewhere. Anyway, Relax Inn is a solid 4 Stars.

I have only one complaint: a terribly loud fan in the bathroom, and no way to turn it off without leaving the bathroom in darkness. Separate switches would be nice, but failing that, get a new, quiet fan. Otherwise, everything was perfectly adequate, well, except a rather strained breakfast. At least it was early.

We have stayed at the relax inn many times. The thing I notice and because it is a pet peeve of mine. Is all of the stairs, rails and landings need to be pressure washed to remove the weathering that happens in a damp climate.

This is my go to hotel any time I'm up in the Brunswick area -- the rooms, while a basic room, are clean, the bed is comfortable, the staff is always very friendly. They have a little refrigerator and microwave in each room as well as a continental breakfast.
For the price, it is one of the best deals I've found!

We chose this motel because the price was reasonable for a college family weekend. Other motels were overpriced. It was adequate for a two-night stay—bed comfortable enough and older bathroom clean. I wish the breakfast had included something with protein, as all offerings were high-carb and/or sweet. One criticism is that all fixtures were very high—for very tall people.

It was way too much money for the cheap motel that it was. Ive paid less for top tier downtown Chicago skyline on Wolf Point. This is beds from 1985 and a crappy \"something went through the ceiling at one point and someone who has no idea what they are doing tried to remodel it\" vibe. There was no temperature control and the room was about 78 degrees. There were no bugs. I'll give credit where credit is due. And they wore gloves when they restocked the continental breakfast. Which honestly was welcomed. My issue was the price. It should have been $89 not $180. Also- the prices advertised on Hotels.com are not the prices you end up paying. It's gotten as bad as Air Bnb with their \"taxes and fees\" which in the end are almost as much as the room itself. I'm not impressed with this roadside motel pretending to be the Holiday Inn or with Hotels.com

Not a bad place to stay for the night. Not really meant for an extended stay. Pros and cons in my opinion...
Pros: The room was clean and came with a refrigerator,
microwave and coffee maker. The staff was
friendly and handled all my requests promptly,
breakfast was ok, the bed was
comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Good
location from downtown Brunswick and LL Beans
Cons: Towels very thin, pillows are worn out, the room,
even though it was clean, smelled old and musty.
The window in my room had to be secured using a
broom handle as the lock was broken. The AC
unit is LOUD.

It's an older no-frills hotel. Good place to stop for the night. The price is reasonable, and the staff are friendly. I would stay there again for a night, but not for a week before.

The office was locked at 4 p.m. with no one around. I had to phone them (10 rings to pick up). The person on the other end was relatively uninterested and it took about 5 minutes waiting while she screamed at someone to go open up. One outlet (the one with the coffee maker and lamp with USB chargers). Phone did not work.
All in all, it was the cheapest motel room and livable. If you want the least expensive while being relatively safe, this is fine.

Sketchy and unwelcoming.

Showed up early after a long drive to check the place out before my stay. A employee literally ran up to me all sketchy asking why I was there what I was doing. Kept staying they open at 3. I had to use the restroom after a long drive and wanted to unwind a bit and this person made me feel so nervous and unwelcome for a simple check in. I ended up not staying and going somewhere else. Trying to get my money back from insurance.

Also, getting out of the parking lot is very difficult. The traffic is terrible and it takes forever to get out of the parking lot if you turn left. It is an old motel on a busy road, but the housecleaning was immaculate. Basic breakfast (juice, coffee, yogurt, cereal, bagels & muffins) were a nice touch to get travelers off to a good start in their journey. It is a good choice for those looking for a good budget accommodation.

Check-in and out was quick and easy, friendly staff.
Free continental breakfast, nothing fancy but had cereal, bread, english muffins coffee and orange juice.
free Wi-FI - okay for web searching and emails however I had trouble streaming as it would stop occassionally and I had to restart the video.
Plenty of free parking and many restaurants nearby.
