I had a fantastic stay. The room was spacious and super clean, I didn't hear a single thing from the people next door, and the blackout curtain/great bed/pillow combo had me sleeping like a baby. It's in the perfect spot for walking around and is a block away from the train. I’ll definitely be hitting this place up again next time I'm in town!

I flew in with a bike and a bike box and the staff was excellent and helping me dispose of it

From the time we were greeted at the door upon arrival to checkout the staff was amazing! All staff always went out of their way to make you feel at home! The hotel has an amazing location with so many amenities nearby, but the staff truely makes this hotel a stand out in Vancouver city centre!

The staff was very friendly. The Suite, 1 Bedroom, Corner (One Queen Bed with Sofa Bed) was fine but the view was terrible. Got the room because the pictures online made the giant corner windows and view look amazing. That was not remotely the case. Also the air conditioner unit (pretty sure that’s what it was) in the ceiling of the room was very loud. Had to close the bedroom door to try to dull the noise.

5/5 - A Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Vancouver
Le Soleil exceeded expectations from the moment I arrived. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I consistently woke up feeling well-rested. A small but meaningful perk: parking was included with the stay, which is a real bonus in downtown Vancouver.
The location is hard to beat. Situated right in central downtown, I barely needed my car the entire trip. Restaurants, shops, and attractions were all within easy reach on foot.
What really stood out was the staff. Attentive, warm, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. It’s the kind of service that turns a good trip into a great one.
Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver.

We had the best time on this hotel. First of all, it is nestled in the middle of downtown, and very close toto everything. Literally everything. My bf even said; you planned it so well the Chanel store is right in front of it.
We check for an early check in, and Maureen helped us a lot. She even gave us an upgrade to the Top suite. The room and the entire place is luxurious and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again, for sure, for sure.

We spent 5 nights at the Executive Hotel Le Soleil and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Vancouver. The hotel is well situated, very friendly staff, lovely clean room with a very comfy bed! The real highlight for us was the restaurant which serves a fantastic breakfast. We also enjoyed a couple of very lovely evening dinners at the restaurant, which offers a top quality menu.
Overall a really lovely hotel and one well worth staying at.

Very nice little boutique hotel in downtown Vancouver
The rooms were very clean and well-appointed. We didn't try the Alouette bistro for food, but had a couple of nice cocktails, which were great. Staff were friendly and the parking arrangement was very convenient and quick. Expect to pay $48 Canadian per night.
The only downside was the gym/pool at the Y next door. We were there for the weekend only to learn that the Y was closed from 5PM on Saturday until Monday morning. The small cardio room on the second floor (can't call it a gym) was useful for a quick workout.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Definitely coming back.

We stayed at this hotel as a family—two adults and our 12-year-old daughter—and it was a great fit for us. The room was thoughtfully divided into two areas: a bedroom and a living space, which made it easy to relax and spend time together comfortably.

The hotel has a historic yet classic vibe that you don’t often find elsewhere. We really enjoyed the atmosphere—where old and new seem to meet—very much like Vancouver itself. The location was also very convenient, and we were able to walk to many places nearby.

The room was a bit dark with the dim lighting, but it felt intentional and matched the hotel’s quiet, classic, and tranquil mood.

I also loved having a proper desk and a strong Wi‑Fi connection, which made it easy for me to get some work done in the morning.

There was a movie being filmed during my entire stay. I wasn't informed about this prior and it blocked the front entrance so when I arrived with all my luggage the movie staff rudely told my Uber driver he had to drop me off at the end of the block. This was like this everytime I got dropped off or picked up by an Uber. After my stay, the staff asked about my experience and I told them this, they were pretty dismissive. The drawers in the room were dirty as well which I didn't expect. Nice hotel otherwise.

This is an outstanding hotel for a Vancouver stay. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are very quiet. We were close to the elevator but due to the room layout we were not disturbed. The shower was good and featured luxury soaps and lotions. Room was spacious with a separate seating area. In room coffee, tea and small fridge. It was everything we needed . Great location . Excellent value! We will definitely return

The only reason I am not giving it an excellent rating is because there was a movie being filmed at the hotel and the staff didn’t really communicate to us what was going on or where we couldn’t be. Hotel was very nice. We stayed for one night. Good value for a great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit confusing/frustrating if parking before checking in. Especially since hotel entrance is on busy one way street. We parked first without a code available and no way to reach front desk without calling on phone. And front desk didn’t know what to do. Perhaps a code can be given in an email before arrival so parking is easier. We had a car behind us honking for us to move but to where? We were trapped.

All staff we encountered were very friendly, from the maintenance fellows in the basement to the front end, to housekeeping. The restaurant next door was perfect for breakfast, really convenient and tasty. Great location, walkable to the waterfront station, the west end, Roedde House museum, art gallery, Stanley Park (~45 min.). Would definitely stay there again!

I think it didn’t quite meet expectations for price.
Rooms are stylish but are small and is a little dated compared to pictures. The staff are friendly but not so service oriented.

They have a new locker system to store bags yourself which is quite inconvenient, there is no service staff ie porter to help you.
