Stayed for 4 nights, ate in the restaurant every night which is al la carte 4 course, seemed initially a little expensive but following our first night is worth every penny. Lay out of hotel makes for some quiet areas in which you can relax . Wellness area clean and great area to relax. Had superior room , lots of space beds very comfortable felt very safe with our motorbike parked outside. Area lots to do , great bakery in the village, but village itself shops were limited, we walked every day , went into Goslar on the bus, very easy to do and buses run regularly. We bought a combi ticket for the ski lift ,toboggan run and chair lift at 9 euros great deal and a short distance from hotel . Some great roads around and we had a great time , hotel was easy to find , would not hesitate to return

Stayed 4 nights with family at this hotel. The rooms are very clean and in good shape, and pretty ideal for a quiet get-away in nice surroundings. The hotel could improve a lot on the service. Staff was clearly unexperienced and to make it worse, management seem not to care about training. The tone between management and staff was bad. Breakfast was nice with good selection, while dinner was dis-appointing. We had dinner at the hotel on Saturday night, with a 4-course set-menu as the only choice.

Excellent Hotel Njord
Overlooking a lake in the western part of the gorgeous Harz mountains, the hotel has a brilliant setting. The hotel only has 15 rooms which makes for a family feel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Food both evening meal and breakfast were the best of any Hotel we've stayed in Germany.

Beautiful, comfy, scenic, stress-free getaway
It was easy-going yet classy. A nice blend of sophistocation without stuffiness. The cuisine was exquisite, creative and organic. I am still talking about the food. The breakfast was always fresh and plentiful. Very friendly and efficient staff (all of them). Even though the hotel is on the small side, you felt like you had your privacy. You were made to feel at home while having every need or want attended to without question. The staff seemed genuinely glad that you were there. The wellness spa was superb.

Excellent Family Hotel in Harz Mountains
I would strongly recommend this hotel for families traveling with children. Our party was two adults and two children (6 & 9). The hotel provided an extra single bed for one child and the room had a couch that converted to a bed for another. It was wonderful to be able to all stay in the same room from a cost & family togetherness perspective. The breakfast was excellent and the children had fun playing games in the game room when we were back at the hotel. Bravo Hotel Njord.

What a lovely hotel. This hotel was situated out of Goslar but within an easy 10 minute drive through the woods, no hardship. Lovely views over the lake. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The room was fresh and contemporary and extremely clean, wth a lovely balcony overlooking the lake, very serene. Shower was amazing.
We ate in the restaurant; the food was delicious, all fresh produce and beautifully presented. Afterwards we sat in the cosy lounge/bar area and enjoyed a whiskey and a liquer from their fine selection.
Breakfast was similarly good in the bright light restaurant. Couldn't fault it. Excellent for travellers wishing for a quiet night in comfortable, contemporary surroundings.

Bei Ankunft wurden wir nett empfangen, jedoch haben wir im eher sparsamen Zimmer so einige dreckige Stellen sowie Haare gefunden. Dies hatten wir sofort gemeldet. Leider war selbst am nächsten Tag nach der Reinigung diese Beanstandung immer noch nicht behoben bzw. gereinigt.
Das Frühstück war soweit ok, Zuviel erwarten darf man aber nicht.
Das WLAN funktionierte zwar aber brach alle Sekunden ab, sodass es für uns nicht nutzbar war.
Rundum waren wir also nicht so zufrieden.

Meget hyggeligt og roligt hotel med super sød betjening. Fantastisk lækker restaurant - husk at bestille bord! Det kan anbefales at nyde aftenen i pejsestuen med lækre drinks.
Elsker ideen med at hænge en lille pose på døren, hvis rengøringen kan springes over - så belønnes man med en lille overraskelse.

Indtjekning var hjælpsom, men der manglede vigtig information, blandt andet om Spa og dets åbne og lukke tider, morgenmaden var ok, men ikke pragende, denne kunne godt være langt bedre til de penge man betaler for opholdet. Aftensmaden på hotellet var fantastisk. Savnede at det var muligt at se andet end tysk TV, igen ud fra, hvad man betaler for en overnatning.

Rigtig fint hotel med god beliggenhed i byen. Værelserne var fine med egen lille terrasse/altan. Eneste minus ved værelserne var, at der var meget lydt både fra reception/køkken og øvrige værelser.

Wir waren als kleine Familie da, sprich meine Frau, ich und unser 14 Monate alter Sohn. Das personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvirkommend. Die Lage ist super und das Frühstück ausgiebig. Das essen was man Abends im Hotel eigenen Restaurant Speisen kann schmeckt ebenso super. Unser kleiner hatte im Zimmer genügend Platz zum toben. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Seeblick und Balkon. Sehr zu empfehlen. Das Badezimmer hatte sogar eine Bidenheizung was sehr angenehm war. Einzige was man vllt beachten sollte wenn man einen Kinderwagen oder einen Rollstuhl hat das es überTreppen ins Hotel geht. Alles in allem sind wir sehr zufrieden gewesen. Danke nochmals.

Es hat ums alles sehr gut gefallen. Das gesamte Personal war sehr, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das einzige , was uns leider Rückenschmerzen bereitet hat, waren die viel zu weichen Matratzentopper. Auch ist das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Jedoch war der komplette Aufenthalt erholsam und angenehm. LeckeresFrühstücksbuffet wurde auch angeboten und Wünsche wurden auch erfüllt.

Fantastisk hotel, alt var i skønneste orden. Personale meget venlige, hjælpsomme og imødekommende. Havde et dejlig værelse med balkon. Morgenmads buffet var super go. Wellness området var super og havde masser af muligheder. Brugte hotellet som overnatning på gennemrejse, og det var det hele værd at køre op i højderne hvor byen Hahnenklee ligger. Dejlig rolig by. Das Personal war sehr nett und die Sauna war in Ordnung. Wir erhielten ein sehr kleines Zimmer im UG, die Bewegungsfreiheit war nicht gegeben. Im Zimmer gab es aus Platzgründen weder einen Sessel noch einen Stuhl. Die Terrasse war schön. Das Frühstück entsprach unseren Vorstellungen, der Frühstücksraum war jedoch auch eng. Das Hotel hat einen Mittelklassestandard mit drei Sternen. Die Umgebung, die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Goslar sind sehr schön.

Für einen Wochenende zu zweit sehr zu empfehlen. Man kann die Ruhe genießen, die Seele baumeln lassen und sich ein paar Tage entspannen. Für einen Spaziergang oder eine kurze Wanderung ist der nahegelegene Weg wunderbar. Nach Goslar sind es nur 20 min, um sich ebenfalls eine schöne Altstadt anzuschauen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ich kam zum Entspannen hierher. Mein Superior Zimmer empfand ich als relativ klein, es war aber modern und komfortabel eingerichtet.
