Great hotel in historic Goslar

We got upgraded to a fantastic large room (almost apartment) with a large balcony. This did ofcourse improve our over all impression of the hotel but service in the bar and breakfast restaurant was excellent and so was the breakfast. Perhaps not the cheapest in town but good choice when you want to explore Goslar and rest of The Harz area.

Really nice hotel with a good location, a very comfortable room. If we shall point at two things it would be, the breakfast is not for a four star hotel, but more like a three star, and then are the shower towels to small and thin, but beside that it was a very pleasant stay

Alt spiller sammen, service og fantastisk morgen menu, dog kunne der være en vejledning på hvordan man får sin mobils indhold op på TV skærmen på værelset.
Det lykkedes os, men kun ved at vi havde kendskab til sådanne funktioner.

Lækker morgenmad. Dejligt sted med god og central beliggenhed. Det eneste vi savnede var kaffe og te på værelset. Der var mulighed for opladning af elbil. Desværre koster det 20 £ pr. døgn, så det er ubrugeligt, når man har en plugin hybrid bil med begrænset plads på batteriet. Det må kunne gøres bedre.

Great hotel - ready to go back.

Lovely hotel. Nice and modern. The room was spacius and clean. The bed very comfortable. The only thing missing is a small refrigerator in the room to keep a few refreshments in.
The hotel is only a 10 min. walk from the city center.
All staff were kind and helpful.

Loved every aspect of our stay. Location at edge of town (quiet) but close enough to walk everywhere. Rooms modern and nice, breakfast the best and most varied I have ever had. The service was particularly helpful, even trying to get us walking sticks!

Fantastisk hotel i Goslars gamle bydel, kun 5 min gågang ind til gågade og centrum. Imødekommende og venligt personale, gode til at oplyse om alle forhold på hotellet, og intro til byen. Hotellet har egen og aflukket p-plads, man kan købe sig til. Vores opgraderede værekse var i too, stort, tummeligt, lyst, og med et nyere og meget pænt badeværelse, med automatisk ovenvindue og musik. Fantastisk morgenmad med noget for alle, og en bar, hvor der hver dag er en ny \"dagens drink\". Kan varmt anbefale dette hotel, hvis man ønsker at være tæt på byen og på på et nyere hotel. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen!

Sehr gutes Frühstück, was keine Wünsche übrig lässt.
Alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.
Zwei verschiedenen Parkgebühren (überdacht, bzw. nicht überdacht), fanden wir merkwürdig. Dann lieber ein Preis der in der Mitte liegt für alle gleich.

Es passte alles. Und man kann ein EV laden. Die Plätze sind auch überdacht. Vom Hotel aus ist man zu Fuß relativ rasch bei den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wobei man sagen muß das fast alle Gebäude sehenswert sind.

Jeg syntes at det er uhensigtsmæssigt, at man i app’en ikke kan se om der er betalt for morgenmad. Dette kan give nogle ubehagelige misforståelser. Vi sagde til receptionen aftenen før afrejse, at vi gerne ville betale alt. Det gjorde vi. Men da vi om morgenen tjekkede ud, blev vi præsenteret for morgenmadsregning.

Hotellet ligger godt, tæt på centrum, der er stille på hotellet ingen bil larm. Virkelig nydelige og meget rene værelser. Her kan en allergiker godt opholde sig trods gulvtæpper.

Godt men……

Fint og godt hotel, som lige mangler det sidste for st være helt i top. Eksempel er der ikke mulighed for st lave sig en kop kaffe på værelset, det ville være rart når man har bestilt værelse med terrasse. Minibar er også er most i den prisklasse, samt et strygejern på værelset. Super sæde personaler, og lækker morgenbuffet.

Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende im Hotel Villa Saxer! Das Gourmet-Frühstück ist wirklich ein absolutes Gourmet-Frühstück und hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen! Der Check-In war super freundlich und wir haben sogar ein Upgrade ohne Aufpreis bekommen. Das Zimmer war ein Traum! Zudem liegt das Hotel super zentral und nur wenige Gehminuten von der Fußgängerzone entfernt. Jederzeit gerne wieder!!!

Wir hatten vier wunderschöne Tage in Goslar und im Harz, und dies lag nicht nur an dem tollen Wetter Ende September, sondern begann schon beim Check-in im Hotel. Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches aber nicht aufdringliches Personal am Empfang. Wir hatten ein Komfort-Doppelzimmer mit Balkon gebucht. Das Zimmer hatte eine gute Größe und vom kleinen Balkon aus schaut man direkt auf die Altstadt. Das Badezimmer war auch relativ groß und hatte eine große Walk-In-Dusche. Das Hotel macht vom Ambiente und Still her einen sehr modernen, aber nicht kühlen, Eindruck. Ich vermute vom Stil her, das entweder das Hotel erst vor maximal 10 Jahren renoviert oder umgebaut wurde. Betten waren sehr bequem. Klimaanlage und Smart -TV sowie ein Safe sind vorhanden. Eine Minibar bzw. einen Kühlschrank gab es leider nicht. Das Hotel verfügt über gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze (viele mit Ladesäule)direkt am bzw. unterm Haus von denen man alle Bereiche des Gebäudes Barrierefrei erreichen kann. Man kann und sollte für die Dauer des Aufenthalts einen Parkplatz reservieren, da sich das Hotel nur 3 Minuten von der Fußgängerzone befindet und man hat die ganze Zeit den selben Stellplatz.
Das Hotel ist ein reines Garni-Hotel was aber auch aufgrund der großen Auswahl an Restaurants in der Nähe (gegenüber z.B ein sehr guter Italiener)absolut verständlich ist. Dafür bekommt man morgens im Hotel ein liebevoll angerichtetes Frühstücksbuffet mit einer guten Auswahl an hochwertigen, teils regionalen Produkten. Top!

Super dejligt ophold! Hotellet ligger 4 min gang fra gågaden. Alle ansatte smilende og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden er fantastisk! Alt friskt og smagfuldt. Stor balkon med udsigt til bjergene og kirken. Chefen for hotellet hjalp os endda med at få sat nr. pladen på, da den var faldet af 👍. Kan helt klart anbefales.
