Check-in was excellent; rooms were quirky but clean; continental breakfast was just fine; and the attached dining room was great for our party of 12, with a private room for us. There was also a busy outdoor patio with a lovely view. Parking was easy. Note that there are no elevators, so some might find the stairs difficult. However, the staff quickly volunteered to take our bags up, so we had no issues. Highly recommended if you are in the area and looking for something more interesting than the usual roadside motels.

The room did not appear as on its website. It was musty & everything looked old. The microwave was small & moved all over when you used it. The bed only had sheets, no comforter, so we grabbed a rolled up blanket in the cupboard. There were not proper pillows; almost like cushions or towels in a cover. The balcony looks like it was going to collapse. The breakfast had only cold food & the croissants were stale. We definitely not return there again. Very disappointed in this hotel.

Great property and very nice staff. Great location as well, right next to the Bracebridge downtown. However, property is old and you can see signs of wear and tear. For example, room 115 large cracks are visible on the ceiling. As long as it doesn’t bother you or your experience, you should be fine but otherwise, it can be a bothersome. Breakfast is minimal continental stuff, nothing fancy and definitely nothing exciting. The Italian restaurant “Basilico” is nice but the food is just okay, nothing extraordinary. The Muskoka draught beer was fresh. The outdoors are nice and well maintained. Rooms, bathrooms, upholstery and bedding were clean. Overall, a very nice place and stay.

We had an AMAZING time at The Inn At The Falls! We absolutely loved our room with an incredible view of the falls and picturesque landscape surrounding it here in Bracebridge. We couldn’t believe how big our balcony was at “The Mews” section of the property. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. There’s a nice electric fireplace… a rather large ‘mini’ fridge, microwave, Keurig type coffee maker, a huge desk, and sitting area. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a considerable variety of items to choose from for a 'continental' breakfast which was complimentary. The staff is VERY accommodating and friendly. They made us feel welcome and at home. We will definitely come back here to experience this wonderful inn in the summer!

this is an old property so facilities are not perfect but that does not detract from the stay. I would recommend fixing the door to the room we stayed in so it does not require such force to close it and to have it block out the light from the hall better.

It’s a 150 year old house with a lot of character. We stayed in The Mews which is a 2 story motel like building next to the main house. It’s showing its age but it’s currently under renovation so they are working on upgrades. It’s was very clean and the view was amazing. The staff were really friendly. We’d definitely go back.

The Inn's main building is a lovely Victorian-style home. We stayed in an adjacent building complex called The Mews. Our room was on the corner with a balcony on both sides. After supper at the on-site restaurant, we went back to our room for a drink on the balcony. We had just sat down to enjoy our drinks, overlooking the river and the patio where live music was being played, when our neighbour, who was smoking on his balcony, drove us inside. We were very disappointed because we had chosen this room so we could sit out and enjoy the view and the sound of the falls.
There is no smoking in the rooms or anywhere else on the property, but we think this needs to be extended to the balconies as well, as cigarette smoke is so offensive.

Our room in the Mews had a security light from the main building blinding us when we were on the balcony and light streamed into our room because the curtains were not black out and didn’t close fully. The room was shabbier than we expected and the bathroom had a layer of dust as well as a nasty tub and sink. It did not feel or smell clean. The breakfast was uninspired. It was too costly to be such a dump. The one staff member we met was kind and pleasant though. I would never recommend this hotel.

Property has lots of potential. Nicer seating areas outside to eat take out food would be nice because we brought our dog. Our kids liked the games on the deck but they need to be rejuvenated or replaced because of wear and tear. A few more other games like shuffle board or a bean bag game would be a nice addition. We understand the property is under construction and are glad to see money is being put back into making it nicer inn. We would stay there again as a home base for the area.
