All was great, clean and staff were very nice! Different kinds of Coffee at the breakfast bar , all you need to start you. The price is excellent compared to other places in town. Just newly renovated…king bed, walk-in shower, lots of towels💜when you visit in warmer weather ,a walkout to a picnic table💜

Room was clean and definitely had plenty of power outlets. Best thing was that they had Samsung tvs!
Down side was that it is more of a motel style setup, work the front office actually tucked away at the back. The other inconvien ence was that the front office had limited hours. But the rates were good, which is why i booked. Was there for one night for work.
One other thing was that i was charged an additional charge a \"Municipal Tax\" which they didn't tell me about until i see the charge on my credit card.
One think that i have noticed, and it's an expedia thing is that some hotels don't want to give you a reciept when you book through expedia.

The room was clean, and beautifully renovated. Staff was friendly and courteous. My only issue was that a breakfast buffet was advertised in the pics and the buffet was none existent. Instead they had a cold bag breakfast which contained an apple, granola bar, yogurt, water, and juice box.

When we checked in, there was a funky smell coming from the washroom and after inspection, we noticed there were stains in the bottom of the toilet. We notified reception and they came over to check. She apologized and moved us to another room right away. The quick service was greatly appreciated. The new room was clean, washroom was a bit old and small cracks on the floor, the top lock for the door was broken. The TV only had a few channels but we only needed the place to sleep since we would be out all day so it served it's purpose. Rooms were spacious. Mini fridge was helpful in keeping our drinks cold, microwave we did not use nor the coffee machine. The location was perfect in Bracebridge. We would stay here again.

Friendly, helpful staff. Newly refurbished room. No handrails for seniors in the shower. The advertised breakfast was a bare minimum effort, but adequate. All in all it was good value for the money.

I only stayed here bc most other places were booked (last minute trip) and the other options were very expensive. I honestly think even this was way overpriced. The room smelled moldy/old smoke (likely from years ago), had carpet (very unhygienic), the shower curtain was moldy and smelled, and the bedding was also stained with no real comforter (a sheet, sone sort of thin maybe flanked “blanket” and a thin maybe Duvet cover).

The staff are lovely and helpful! However, we were in the wing that has yet to be renovated and it was very outdated - so wasn’t worth the value. The breakfast was only a small bag of snacks, as they're in the midst of renovations. Understandable, but we wish we were told ahead of it. On the plus side, the room was clean, good water pressure and the fridge was cold.

We got a peek at the newly updated wing, and it looks great! We look forward to staying in the updated rooms.

Property has false advertising. Breakfast in a bag consisting of water , yogurt and granola bar. Room was covered in dog hair upon arrival and had to wait for it to be re cleaned. Air conditioning did not work and it was very hot. Had to request a fan. Beds very soft and uncomfortable. Construction taking place around the property. Travelled with 3 young children. I do not recommend this property. There are others available in the area for around the same price which unfortunately did not have availability. Note this property does not have a pool as advertised on some of their websites and road signs. Also was charged more on my credit card than the quoted price. Beware!

Great time had staff great huge room with one queen one double beds. Room clean smell and very clean. Only complaint small bathroom lots of hot water and great water pressure also note a second sink outside the bathroom. We had an outdoor deck with wooded area very nice touch felt very safe.
See lots of work being done to update the rooms and No Hilton has not bought out this Travelodge when trying to book another stay this is what it says.
Special mention to Angel very hospitable and kind.

The Muskokas are a lovely part of Ontario.
Sadly this hotel is older and needs upkeep in the rooms.
Like peeling paint and dark spots on the corners of walls which could be from water damage or mold.
The breakfast provided is very basic no eggs or meat, just a yogurt, 1 fruit - A small apple, a juice box and an energy bar. You must go to reception to get it and that requires a walk outside.

The registration staff was friendly and helpful. What we found lacking was a plan to deal with the severe snowfall.

On the morning we were checking out, we had to trudge through four feet of snow to get to the office and then borrow a shovel to clear a path to our car. No one from the office was proactive in dealing with the severe weather conditions, e.g., checking on guests overnight when the power kept going off, tracking road closures, helping with luggage transport to our car since we couldn't get it near the room without blocking the narrow passage created by other cars, etc.

Property near a construction site, so be ready to wake up at 0600 AM everyday and handle the noise and dust till 0400 PM. We spent a whole day without access to hot water due to maintenance issues, which is acceptable, but there was no communication from the front desk to let us know in advance.

The TV and remote did not work together, you had to turn the TV on and off with the buttons on the side of the the TV as well as raising or lowering the volume.

The beds with uncomfortable and lumpy. There was a big roll in the middle of the bed and if you did not stay in the middle you could roll right off the bed.

The bathroom as very dirty. If it had not been prepaid and could not get our money back we would not have stayed.

We weren’t aware that it would be under construction & therefore lacking ammenities. It certainly didn’t look as the picture advertised!! It felt sketchy.
The room was in the desperate need of upgrading! It looked beat up! The A/C wasn’t working well at all. We had to do old fashion way to turn on/off tv, as remote wouldn’t do it.
The advertised “sun deck” was in need of paint & no lawn/muskoka chairs to even sit on to enjoy that space.
The advertised “breakfast” was a bag with warm bottle of water, warm juice box, an apple & yogurt. The reception area in OBVIOUS Renos, with boxes everywhere. They should have started with the actual rooms we stay in for Reno’s!!
In the reception area, where we could get our morning coffee and breakfast, clean folded laundry was on the same counter. Public Health would have loved seeing that!
At this point, we wouldn’t recommend it. But maybe when construction is finished, it hopefully would be a lot better.

So we had to pay 20.00 tax to get in earlier. You would think they would have accommodated us because of the construction. Won't stay here again. 200.00 for a sm motel under construction grrrr.

Unfortunately very disappointing

The first room we stayed in, room 7, was awful. It was not clean, there was nasty marks smeared on the back of the toilet door, it didn’t smell nice, the decor was extremely tired, the bed sheets were not clean, the patio doors looked over a bunch of containers used for the on site building site - even the entrance door looked awful. For the first time ever, I refused to stay in the room. They offered a ‘free upgrade’ - this room was marginally better although still not great. It had two beds instead of the one, hence the ‘upgrade’. We did stop in the room at night only as luckily we were out all day. The TV didn’t work either and this room was also extremely tired and not cleaned properly. The toilet, under the rim, had about 3 inches of black mould, and around the shower lever used to turn on the water was also covered in mould, Black out curtains had holes and let in light. Also woken at 7am by the builders machinery (reversing beeps)
The owner, however, is a very nice man as is his wife/staff. He is currently building another hotel and all his building workers are using these travelodge rooms.
He has advised that these travelodge rooms will still be in use for a couple of years but my advise to all reading - book into the brand new hotel when it opens and stay far away from this travelodge.

The room was clean but very much in need of extensive deferred maintenence and updating. The comforter was stained, but the bed was comfortable enough.
The property is under construction so it's nothing but dirt and sand everywhere which is almost impossible not to track into your room.
