Basic room, good for a nights kip. Smells good, clean carpet and comfortable bed. Bathroom could do with a makeover and some scuffs on the walls but for the price its very good. Parking easy and secure. Food was brilliant and nice pint. Staff friendly.

However, Boston West does not offer breakfast even though advertised online.

We stopped here for one night as a stop off before travelling again the next day. Room was clean and tidy. We ate at the restaurant and the food was spot on. I should have done my research before going as if I knew there was crazy golf there aswell I would have checked in before I did so we could have a game of crazy golf. We would defo stop again.

The room was a little spartan but it was very clean and had every thing one needs, ie iron, kettle, tv etc and everything worked. Best of all the bed sheets were crisp and the bed was super comfortable. The bar was nice. The food was typical pub food, nothing to exsiting but ok. The location is nice. Super value.

The room was a luxe double room. looked very neglected,cold only 1 chair at the desk the bed was very uncomfortable and hard I kept feeling the buttons on the mattress. The bathroom needed a deep clean as did the room. I tried to complain but the reception was closed, there was an out of hours but I didn't have a pen to take the number down. I had the impression it'll for 1night they won't be here again. Wrong I will be coming to Boston every weeks for the next 12 to 18 months
I decided after reading the reviews they obviously didn't stay in room .I will be coming to Boston every 2 weeks for the next 12 to 18 months but not there.😒

Mattresses gone. Terrible night sleep. I decided to book so to avoid a very early morning drive and ended up getting less sleep than had we stayed at home. Both mattresses knackered, dipping in the centre when clearly supposed to be firmer, one you could feel the springs through. Every side of my body I tried to sleep on ended up arching into the dip. Stayed here many times before.. had booked a premium room which ours wasn’t, at least as the last time. Since last time the mattresses have obviously had their day. Will not be staying again.

Arrived at hotel and check in was fine. Got into my room (3) discovered the bed had marks on the sheet. Went to speak to reception about moving rooms, I was told there was no spare rooms. Asked them to change the bed and was told I would need to change the bed and that some fresh bedding would be left in the room.
Full place was a disgrace, front of house at reception didn’t seem to care.
Checked out and no one asked how the stay was etc

The room I was given was a disabled one and I’m not … the beds was 2 singles pushed together and was so uncomfortable that I slept maybe 1 hour !! People slamming doors until 2am .. and I couldn’t go to reception and complain because it’s not on site .. the reception is maybe 300 meters away .. I would like my money back but I’ve had such difficulty in the past trying to change a date on a booking with hotels.com that I know I would have no chance ..

The shower curtain in the bathroom was black and dirty, needs a good clean, and there was marks on the bed lining, and also no pillow protects and pillows was stained.
But the pillows, quilt and cover was nice, and the bed was very comfortable had a good sleep..Adam the receptionists was really nice and very helpful 👌 had a nice meal and drinks, it was bingo night which i love, just had to walk back in the dark to our hotel.. we had the ground floor which was good, but next time i will ask for second floor because its got a balcony, this place is massive because its a caravan park, with massive golf course.
I will definitely be staying there again.

Room was spacious but could do with a make over. Looked tired and dated with marks and scrapes on the wall. Bathroom had what looked like previous water leak in the ceiling and beginning to peel. Noisy extractor fan that randomly comes on during the night
2 beds put next to each other with king size mattress over the top but beds not locked together so began to separate. Firm mattress but base was noisy every time you turned over. Funky smell in the corridor as we walked in.
Could definitely do with an upgrade. Sadly won’t be staying again

Nice super king size bed, good and comfortable. I found the pillows a bit hard, maybe one hard and one soft might be the answer!
Lovely room but as my husband needs to plug in his breathing machine, we have to take extension leads for him to connect to, as there’s no plug by the side of the bed and the only one is by the kettle!
Apart from that we enjoyed ourselves😊

Would definitely recommend.

I was a little worried having read some of the reviews after I had booked a room. However I found checking in straight forward, hotel room clean and tidy, and balcony a bonus. Some minor issues with peeling paint above bath/shower possibly due to the extractor fan not working but nothing that spoilt the nights stay. Staff polite and friendly, food nice and good selection of drinks. And a golf course if you are interested. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

The Business \" model\" felt a bit like cutting corners ,little things eg from a customer point of view . Toilet seat ! So cheap uncomfortable even for slim me, very limited Menu at really unralistic prices ,where you ran out of sausages mid week , in Boston of all places! No worries relating to cleanly run etc but compared to your local competitors
At Burton inn and others i would prefer them in future . Kind regards

We have stayed here in the past but this time we were not given the room type we had booked, the invoice was incorrect (gave the impression a further payment was due when that wasn't the case), and despite leaving the 'Please make up the room sign', the room was not made up or cleaned. Quite surprising and disappointing.

Nice superking bed. Small balcony with two chairs and a table looking onto a golf course. You do need your own transport. There is a railway station a few hundred yards walk away but the trains only stop there twice a day. Really nice helpful staff.

Such a shame, 3rd time definitely wasn’t a charm

This is our 3rd stay and by far the worst. Previously I couldn’t fault the rooms but this time wasn’t great. First of there was black mould around the bath sealant and in the grout which I am aware is a nightmare to get rid of but growing on the tiles is cleanable. The cold tap was completely broken and I was told by a room cleaner that they had been aware of this for 3 days and were waiting for a new tap, he was shocked I wasn’t told about this when checking in. Everything else was fine in the room and the bed was super comfy. Then we get to breakfast! NEVER AGAIN! I ordered eggs Benedict and what I received looked like a plate of slop. I complained which I never usually do but it was awful, I showed them a picture of what eggs Benedict should look like and they replaced it. The second plate was much better. I will stay again but I’ll avoid the restaurant.

Our stay here was just perfect situated just 2 mins from the wedding venue we were guests at for a family wedding, very clean fresh And smart rooms well worth the money-staff were very polite and accommodating the restaurant is only a few seconds walk across the car park and caters for all types of needs, highly recommended don’t deny yourself this cheap luxury especially if you love golf as it has its own course and range, Enjoy.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations due to a number of serious issues.

Firstly, the general condition of the hotel requires attention. The public corridors had visible damage to the walls, and housekeeping trolleys filled with dirty bed linen were left in these areas for extended periods, creating an unclean and unpleasant environment. In the room itself, the bathroom bin was rusty and the foot pedal to open it was broken. Additionally, there were only two power sockets available in the entire room — an inconvenience when trying to use essentials such as the fan and kettle while also needing to charge devices, especially when the sockets were located far from the bed.

However, the most concerning issue was a serious animal welfare matter. One evening, a cat was reported to hotel security after being seen shut inside a van in the car park. The registration number was provided. Shockingly, the next morning the cat was still inside the same van, with no ventilation, windows, or visible air flow — despite outside temperatures reaching 18°C. This situation is potentially life-threatening for an animal in an enclosed vehicle.

When I raised this with the duty manager, she was unaware of the report from the previous night. I was assured that staff would door-knock all rooms, which they did, but I was then confronted by a rude and dismissive member of staff who claimed, “it’s a camper van, the cat is fine.”

No downside really, couple of improvements:
Large TV on wall not working so they had put another on desk. Bit odd..couldn't original one just be fixed/replaced?
Desk a bit small to do work on.
Fan in bathroom has same noise rating as a RR Trent aircraft engine. Surely a more modern quiter one could be fitted for not much outlay? It's quite annoying when you are in there.
Metal fixing on wall in shower, where shower gel bottle once was, is in perfect place to scuff your arm/ body when going in to rinse body.

We were checked in by a friendly person who made us feel welcome. We had booked a room with a balcony. Bliss. Its great being able to open the door for fresh air. I love seeing people playing off the tee outside. The lady servicing the room was helpful and friendly. We re-used our towels and had our milk replenished. Our 3rd stay and we hope to stay again in the future.

TV didn't work, adjoining room was noisy

Firstly the receptionist was really sympathetic & helpful & I have give the hotel 3 separate opportunities to reply with no response.

On arrival the TV didnt work, there was an indoor aerial nestled on top of promotional display, I didnt touch this however the tv had no reception, I phoned reception & was told if it was a room with a separate aerial to move it around until I got a signal, a brief picture flickered on but there was no proper signal, obviously this is a regular issue.
No spare rooms and nobody capable of fixing the tv meant 7 hours with no tv after a hard day on the road, made worse by the fact the adjoining door to the room next door did not filter any sound and I had the pleasure of the football commentary blaring through the wall. Not a good experience,

The room was not private as the is no blind or net on the window, so if you have the curtains opened everone will see in the room as it is on the ground floor when people driver into the car park and park there car they will se you also there is no plug sockets near the bed to change you phone .you can here the room upstairs toilet flush fill up as the inlet valve is old and needs changing as it is making a load noise as it filling up the toilet. Fire alarm went of at 8am some 1 smoking in the room .tv aerial is not good as the channels was breaking up

The bed was very comfortable, and we had a good nights sleep. Food in the Restaurant were big portions. The hotel was a 2 minute walk to collect Keys for the rooms that we stayed in.
