The staff were very nice especially the young girl behind the bar, we felt very welcome. We were disappointed with the room there was marks all over the walls, wall paper coming off, in the corner behind a chair was a chunk of plaster missing. Both lamps didn’t work either unfortunately, there is a lot of positives but it was just a shame the actual room let it down. Breakfast was great, parking wasn’t ideal very limited but luckily a staff member moved their car so we could park which we were very grateful for especially since we have a young child.

I stayed here on a work trip. The rooms were really comfortable and spotless ;loved the design; great breakfast and the staff are great so happy to help and very friendly . I did stay in one of the suites one night ; beautifully done but as they are in the old part of the hotel and some at the front there is a road noise but not all through the night

Location of the hotel was perfect for what we needed. Well kept, clean and nicely decorated rooms. Bed was very comfortable, however didn’t sleep as good as we’d hoped due to quite a few noises in the night! Think the walls were a bit thin. Just a note too that on booking it said we’d get bathrobes in the room, we didn’t. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Unfortunately as this was a special event it left a challenge and having to rebook an event as simply it wasn’t appropriate to do it with what we were given. Lovely hotel and really nice staff. Restaurant was excellent. Room lovely but a little too cold. I get it, electricity is very expensive to heat hotel rooms, but I don’t think there was any heating on whole time we were there and the thermostat on the wall was disconnected. But there was a lovely hot shower, comfortable bed, and great breakfast. Would come back again maybe in summer when don’t need the heating on. Or stay on higher floors maybe, won’t be as cold. Other than that, the stay was perfect!

Lighting was rather subdued. Good selection for breakfast. Very similar to our last stat a year ago apart from steep price increase.

My stay at The White Hart Hotel was fantastic overall. The staff were great—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The food was excellent, with a lovely evening meal that felt homemade and a satisfying breakfast to start the day. Our rooms were warm and welcoming, creating a cozy atmosphere. We also appreciated the nice guide literature for local points of interest, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. To top it off, there was a good range of beers available at the bar. Highly recommend!

The room had dust in areas and it was very cold. I was unable to turn the aircon from cold to hot. I called the front desk and he said he would sort it but it was still blowing cold. I just wrapped up in bed and fell asleep in the end. I will say the bed was nice and comfy.
There was lots of refreshments in the fridge, a coffee machine and shortbreads. The shower was clean with decent pressure and hot water.
I woke up late for breakfast which I was looking forward to. I was unable to stay as needed to leave to catch a flight. I asked to take away a pastry when asking for a napkin the lady huffed and puffed which I thought was rude.

Only had a few small observations really, none of which I mentioned, but probably should have (terribly British!).
The plug in the basin didn't work, the plug in the shower was blocked with hair and slow to drain (I cleaned it as it was overflowing) and the extractor fan needs a good clean as covered in dust...small details and none that would stop me recommending this as a place to stay.
But the staff - incredible. Caring, polite, friendly and cheerful whatever the time of day. A real credit to the business.

Really lovely. The room was great and we appreciated the little touches like real coffee and the shower having two options rather than just the usual waterfall thing where it's hard to avoid getting your hair wet! We only had breakfast rather than staying for dinner but the food we did have was great. Bonus points for windows that actually open for real fresh air.

Great little hotel
Really nice place to stay. Room was fine for 1 night- a bit small for a deluxe family room. Breakfast included was a great bonus and I really liked that we had a breakfast menu plus pastries, cereals and cheese board. We used as a base to travel to Chessington and had a nice walk along the thames as well as dinner in Kingston and some shopping. Staff were all really nice, friendly and efficient.

We loved the hotel, very comfortable and a great location. The staff at check-in and at dinner were excellent and the vegan food was absolutely superb. We only marked them down as the main light in the room wasn't working and the lamp by the mirror had no bulb in it so it was a bit dark for trying to see in the mirror to get ready, and the receptionist in the morning was quite dismissive when we mentioned the lack of light and just kept repeating that they already knew about it. Well if they knew about it, why on earth hadn't they replaced the missing bulb in the lamp at least?!?!

Wonderful birthday stay
We made a great choice coming here. Hotel staff, cleanliness, facilities and breakfast was great. Also free secure parking. Regular buses to and from Hampton Court Palace meant the Palace was only 11 minutes away. Even closer to the Thames bridge in Kingston and the town centre. Lovely walk along the river and boating activities all available.

Gem of a hotel in a prime location
The location is superb for trips into Hampton Court, the Queens Promenade or just crossing the bridge to explore Kingston. While the parking is on a First Come First Served basis, it was surprisingly spacious and secure. Staff were friendly and quick to assist the whole time we visited.
