But...
Pool has no towels. Zero
Towels in the room not enough for two people.
Towels are so old the have actual holes in it.
No pressure in the shower- either cold water or a few drops of warm.
And AC!!! First morning( Saturday) I really thought it was a construction is going on at 7am !!! But then I realized it's AC!!! I had no choice but turned it off!!! AC off in Florida in July it's unacceptable!!!
And for God's sake fix the lock in the women bathroom at the pool

Everything was fine. Low water pressure in the bathroom though. Toilet took a couple flushes to get everything down and the shower head pressure was low, we had to take a longer shower. Other than that it was good.

Our room included a comfortable bed, blackout shades, and plenty of room. It appeared that the room and bathroom had been renovated in recent years. The staff was nice. We had Wi-Fi the first night, but did not have it the next day. I called and asked about it twice. The Keurig coffee in the room was great. They also had coffee in the lobby available 24/7.

This stay was just ok, the photos on the website are a bit misleading as it does not show you where the standard rooms actually are. Many of the photos are from the views you get when staying in the suites which are only a few rooms. The pool area was nice however the pool itself was very small and during a day that felt like 109⁰ in June, the pool felt like a hot tub. There was no way to cool off. The \"beach area\", again was very small, really it was just a way to paddle in and out with the complimentary paddle boards. Which is great if you do end up using them. We did not. The room itself again was ok, we were given a wheelchair accessible room (we did not have a wheel chair) so the bathroom was huge however water spilled everywhere on the floor, it was hot and muggy in there and the shower only had one setting, boiling hot. The AC in the room was 100% great, we did not feel warm in the room at all. There was a mini fridge and a microwave. We only used the mini fridge which worked fine kept our bottles of water cold. The sunset view at night was 10/10, that was definitely worth it.

Bayside Inn Key Largo was one of the highlights of our Florida Keys vacation. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect welcome to the Keys.

The property sits right on the bay and offers so many relaxing amenities packed into a small, easy to navigate resort. There is a small beach area, paddle boards, hammocks, picnic tables, lounge chairs, and even a dock overlooking the water that is perfect for watching the sunset or simply relaxing in the sun.

One of my favorite memories was waking up each morning to the sound of roosters, grabbing a coffee from the fantastic self serve coffee station in the lobby, and walking down to the dock to watch the sunrise over the water.

The location couldn’t be better. Snook’s Restaurant is literally next door, making it easy to walk over for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, or sunset views. You can spend the day paddle boarding, swimming, sightseeing, or simply relaxing by the water without ever needing to get back in your car.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a comfy bed, a nice bathroom, and beautiful views of the bay. The front desk hostess was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

What I loved most was that Bayside Inn doesn’t try to be a giant luxury resort. It’s small, relaxed, and unpretentious while still offering wonderful amenities and an authentic Keys atmosphere. If you’re looking for a peaceful waterfront getaway in Key Largo, this is it.

They just have to be a little more demanding with admission because people outside use the pool, a security service would be excellent.

We got a last minute room reservation for the night here. The staff was so kind, very busy and over worked but maintained a very professional helpful attitude. The room was ok, nothing fancy. Bathroom lay out was weird and the a/c leaked water all over the floor. The pool was very dirty so we opted for the ocean for our morning swim. Beautiful waterfront dock area. Free coffee in the lobby. Fine for a one night stay, what made it better was a hard working staff of 2 or 3 women I saw.

We stayed one night on our way to Key West. We loved everything about our stay and we were really sad to leave.

The staff was amazing (Tamika) was so pleasant and helpful on a couple of occasions. The sunset was amazing, the atmosphere of the Inn was so very peaceful. The view from our room was great.

My gdaughter (8) was able to experience paddle boarding for the first time in the gorgeous waters of the bay.

Everything about our one night stay was perfect. We hope we can return to the inn someday!!

Well we had a great stay but there was some issues. We could not get pool towels due to they were not ready. Our toilet was clogged and my husband had to go to the office and they sent someone so he could do it his self. When I booked the room it said island side view and it was garden or tree view and we did not have but 1 towel in our room and the shower pressure was horrible. My husband tried to call the front desk and the cord fell out of the phone numerous times and so therefore he had to walk to the office to get help

From the outside the hotel looked old But the rooms have been updated and were very comfortable. They have bicycles and paddle boards for customer use. It also is right next door to Snoocks restaurant and you get a 10% discount at the restaurant if you are a customer of the Bayside in. There's a Dive Center on site which was very convenient for us. The staff are nice and very helpful

Very clean, but there was a mildew smell in our room we couldn’t identify where it was coming from. Staff was friendly. Air very cold in the Florida heat. The walkways outside the room are VERY slick when wet so be careful. Loved the amenities and views - waking up or seeing sunset at their beach/pool was definitely a highlight. I’d stay here again!

The view of the bay was spectacular & paddle boards were fun.
Things that weren’t great: The pool was very cloudy & not clean. Our shower barely had any pressure, the safe didn’t work and we didn’t have a luggage stand to place our luggage on.
We really enjoyed our stay, but the little inconveniences just added up. The staff there is very nice.

The staff were friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The room was a little dirty to my standard but not horrible. There was hair in the shower on the walls and sink didn't seem to be clean either therefore that is what i mean by dirty. The bed could be a little more comfortable but for one night it was manageable. The outdoor amenities were wonderful and access to the bikes was nice.

Very misleading pictures and descriptions of amenities. My “premium island view” was of a propane tank. It represents itself as a resort, but with motel style outside doors, it is more closely related to a cheap roadside motel.

Mini fridge was broke, no hair dryer in the room.

If you know what to expect, it’s not bad for what it is. But the misrepresentation is not fair to travelers using these pictures and descriptions to make their decisions.

This place was a perfect location with wonderful staff that bent over backwards to help with anything. The problem I would never recommend this place to anyone is because there are rooster roaming the property that started roosting they loud cries that started at 5am until 7am and thus we lost three hours of sleep. I am a huge animal lover but this was insane. Everyone is the facility had to have heard this roosting ordeal.

We selected this location to have our wedding at and then have our dinner next door at Snooks. This is NOT a resort at all. The pool is actually small. I don’t even know when it gets cleaned but the water has a cloudy appearance. We had a total of four rooms and our best man and his girl had a room at the same place, five rooms total that were NOT clean. Our rooms had bugs in them. Crawling all over the counter which had prints all over it. Bugs at the sink. Bugs in the shower. After a shower I moved my hand towel and a roach was waiting for me. When I went to the desk to tell them about the roach, the gal ask me what kind it was!!! The floors were not clean. If you spilled something and wiped it up, the towel was black. Housekeeping uses a broom that you can see all the hairs on it and the broom is knotted up at the bottom. They use some sort of a dust mop as well. I didn’t see anything that actually cleaned the floors in the rooms. The microwave in our room was dirty. There was a half open corona left in my son’s room. There was a bandaid left in our best man’s room. When we got clean towels, I was careful to check for a roach which there ended up being one on the shower floor when I got out of the shower. My husband thinks there must be roaches everywhere in the laundry room. When you talk to the other guests on the property, everyone has a room story.
There isn’t enough room for me to finish this review. Please pull up the google reviews!!

Upon getting to the room after checking-in at a separate building, we found no coffee-maker in the room, the refrigerator was unplugged with water in the freezer, the safe was locked, the beach towels were missing, the phone unit didn’t work…dialing the front desk from the cell phone took us to the voice mail. Had to walk to the front desk several times for resolution. The staff member at the front desk during the check-in was nice and friendly though.
To check-out early in the morning the next day, nobody was at the front desk without notices left on the counter; although, we were told about its 24-h operation. Only when getting out of the door, already wasted time trying to figure out what to do, I saw a piece of paper on the glass door with hand-written message, which is easily lost and not noticeable with being dark outside. Why not to leave that notice on the counter?! Or type it in bigger thicker letters, use brighter colors if putting something on the glass door.
It was the most stressful check-out, especially when not being experienced with the rental car return center at MIA and ETA at that area.
Hope the listed concerns can be addressed in a timely manner for the next customers have time to relax & enjoy their stay. Thank you.

Easy check in. Hotel was very short staffed so it was hard to get clean towels. The check in lady was running around all day/ night working to help clean rooms and refresh towels. She was a very hard worker, hope the owners appreciate her. Pool was nice and warm. Plenty of chairs and lounges to view the water and sunsets. Restaurants all in walking distance. Probley won’t stay again. It wasn’t terrible. It just didn’t suit me. I can say it is family friendly and the kids seemed to be having lots of fun. Rooms clean, air conditioning worked great. I think I froze my husband out lol.

This little gem was paradise. It might not be the biggest resort around but it had everything you needed. The waterfront area had ample lounges and adirondack deck chairs to allow you to take in the beauty of Buttonwood sound. The rooms are equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, and Keurig machines.. The office has a wonderful coffee maker that grinds and brews your coffee. I have the best cappuccinos every morning. We took advantage of the complementary bicycles and paddle boards. It was our first time in Key largo but the next time, we need a place to relax, this is definitely the place.

Absolutely loved it!! The beach / lounge area had a ton of space to spread out, snorkeling was amazing (watch out for anemones, and be careful snorkeling more than 10 or so meters off the dock as boats come by). The beds were so cozy and the staff was very nice.

The hotel is next to or to Snooks, which has amazing food and drinks. Grab a cocktail in a plastic cup to have by the beach or pool! There is also a CVS/walgreens walking distance away. The hotel felt like an oasis away from everything though - you couldn't hear cars on the road and it truly felt like you were in a private little island.

They seemed a bit under staffed. Our room didn't get cleaned, and they didn't have enough room keys for us to have more than one. This didn't bother us, and I am sure if we asked about a cleaning they would have done it, but we did notice this. We also had trouble finding pool towels, and brought our own from home.

We truly didn't want to leave and would come back in a heartbeat!!

The rooms were not very clean and the furniture had water damage/woodpeeling. Also the bed was horrible. I will not be staying again. Totally over priced for what it was . The sheets on the bed had holes in them. There was no water pressure at all. Took forever to was my hair. I had to use a bucket fill it with water to rinse my hair out. Worst time there. And don’t even try to get ahold of the front desk. They are never there

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Bayside with one exception. We purchase snacks from reception (crisps and a peanut bar) having eaten them I was fiddling with the wrappers and noted they were both over their sell buy dates. One by 2 months and the other by 6 months! We drew this to the attention of the staff who were very apologetic. Once checked out I noticed that we were still being charged for the items! I emailed the hotel to point out the situation and got nil response! Payment has since been taken. VERY disappointing customer service!

This property is extremely worn. All the chrome fixtures are completely rusted. The air conditioning unit while working fine was rusted and moldy. The bed was extremely hard and the linens were cheap and thin. The location is good but that would be the only positive about this property.

The experience was very disappointing. The sink was clogged, and the room was not properly cleaned, there was visible dust in multiple areas. There was also no shampoo provided upon arrival, and it was only brought after calling, which shouldn’t be necessary at this level. This is definitely not what you expect from a $300-per-night hotel. We only stayed 2 nights..I thought it was way overpriced for the room. The shower was terrible. We paid a resort fee not sure what it was for since we couldn't use the kayaks because of the windy weather and our room was not made up or fresh towels given.
Overall staff was very friendly and the restaurant next door was excellent. The location was convenient great place to watch the sunset !
