Room was covered in bleach when we arrive and the floor were sticky and popping up. The smell of mildew and mold were so potent we ended up getting sick after two nights and had to leave before our check out date due to our symptoms. Told the girl at the front desk and she said a manger would call, never got a call yet.

Terrible maid service. Never made beds. No towels brought to room. Elevator broke for 4 days. To top it off after 1st night they brought towels and took our dirty laundry and thru it away. They said they would reimburse us 2 night resort fee. They should have reimbursed all 8 nights of resort fees. Would not recommend because of lack of employees. I don’t know if ICE had scared help away but that is my guess

The room was clean, but we had a problem with the hot water at the sink... no pressure. They had a plumber come to repair the plumbing. We're surprised it hadn't been reported by a previous guest. Even though outside temps were cool, the room was often damp and stuffy. We had to run the A/C or fan constantly. Unfortunately, it was too cold for the pool. The highlight here is the office staff and their coffee machine. Location is convenient. The elevator was broken at one point, which was inconvenient for those with mobility issues. Snooks is next door, which is convenient for grabbing a bite to eat or take out.

The room was good. Staff friendly and helpful. The pool was nice when there weren’t too many people (little kids) in it at the same time. The elevator was out most of the time we were there. The staff was affected by this since we were on the third floor. We got fresh towels once then had to ask for some more after the weekend. Outdoor spaces were ok but some people used the beach at bayside for a toilet so on a couple of days it smelled like sewer. We would return to this place but would ask for a lower floor.

We paid for a large suite overlooking the beach and pool area. The spaciousness and full kitchen were great, although the kitchen could be better stocked. The view and grounds were gorgeous, and when we weren't sitting on the balcony we enjoyed the giant TV. Also loved the convenience of the restaurant, Snooks, next door. Unfortunately the furnishings were very uncomfortable... the sofa(bed) had a back that leaned forward instead of back so we couldn't sit on it. The king bed was extremely firm and hurt our bodies, and had lots of small queen size pillows of varying firmness so sleep was not restful. The bedding and towels were scratchy. If they had better furnishings this would be a five star and I would not hesitate to return.

Our room was very clean and appeared to have been updated within the past few years. We did have a minor issue getting the room cleaned daily, but that was on us since we happened to be in the room when housekeeping stopped by. They were able to get it cleaned on our fourth day, which we really appreciated.

T.J. at the front desk was fantastic—always smiling, friendly, and willing to help with anything we needed. Thank you, TJ, for the great service! Much appreciated!

We will definitely be coming back.

The room was basic, nothing fancy. There was mold on the ceiling that needs cleaned and the bathroom fan cover was missing. We found it on the floor beside the shower. Additionally there wasn’t a Smart TV capability to stream Netflix or Amazon for our phone. Lastly the ice bucket and lid were filthy, with mold and dirt all around the lid. On a positive note, the staff was responsive and informed us of the Sharkeys happy hour and 10% discount if we showed our hotel card. The view was great, the pool was warm and the beach chairs were nice. Wouldn’t choose this hotel again as cleanliness needs attention, especially if you’re going to charge a resort fee.

We were woked up at 6:30 am because a tree trimming service was trimming the palm trees, our room was never cleaned, the shower had very little water pressure. The bed was too harm to sleep on, tge pillows were too flat and tge elevator was broken. The elder lady at the front desk was always not attending to our needs. The hotel doesn't even offer breakfast

She tried to cover her incompetence with friendly banter which was annoying. Had to come back to office because key did not work. Slick walking surfaces in the rain. Room 101 was effectively unavailable from 10am to 4pm, on 1/20 due to landscaping operations. Wood chipper was running 6 ft from room deck, palm frond and tree debris fell on deck while tree trimming. Extremely loud and somewhat unsafe. But safer than tree trimming next morning, when trees were being trimmed on path to pool/beach with uncontrolled access.

No manager around on 4 attempts to contact TJ, left info at front desk for manager to call me, no response. No excuse for hotel manager not to be supervising work at heights on the property. No excuse for room with a deck that we paid premium for to have deck being unusable when we wanted it. And no excuse for manager not contacting me upon request. Also amenities are generally low quality for an oceanfront resort.

The hotel is in a great location and was very functional. The room was dated, and the cleaning service was inconsistent and not great.
The winning part of the Bayside Inn is its position on the bay and that made it worth the stay.
We think we would go there again because how much time do you spend in your room? If it had been raining it would be a different story.

We wanted to love this place but it was a bit hard to. It’s a tiny upgrade from a motel 6. This place could easily be a Key Largo special secret with just a bit of improvement.

Room was beat up, holes, bad patch work, shower had some mold

Customer service could use an upgrade class on friendliness, eye contact and professionalism. A bit of kindness and friendliness goes a long way.
Upgrade your shampoo! It totally stripped my hair dye color! The last 3 days of our vacation and my hair color was bleached out and i have dark brown hair!

Room could be cleaner, newer items, I didn’t see even one staff member other than at the front desk and cleaning crew. Cold pool. Kayaks not available because we were told they were broken and being fixed. On the positive side: great location, close to restaurants and Walgreens. Restaurant and bar next door steps from the beach access. Clean outdoors. The most important part is that it’s pet friendly and lots of dogs around. It does have paddle boards and my son really enjoyed that.

The beach was perfect! The room was okay, very clean, and we loved that there was a fridge and microwave! However, the bed was VERY uncomfortable, hard as a table! Also, there was no closet in our room, and while they did provide a ton of drawer space, we couldn't hang anything up. There was also no vanity in the bathroom and no space on the sink, and nowhere else to be able to put out your makeup and stuff to get ready. ALso, there were no shelves or hooks in the shower to put your own razor or stuff, and they did supply us with shampoo and conditioner that was affixed to the wall in the shower, the bottles were dirty and the holder was also very dirty and broken. Additionally, no matter what we did, when we showered, the water went all over the bathroom floor. We tried to call to the front desk to get more towels, but it was 8pm, and noone answered. Generally, we would probably not stay there again--which is unfortunate because the fabulous resturaunt, beach, and dog friendliness was amazeballs!
