Great relaxing getaway
We stayed in May and all really enjoyed our time at the A-Rosa. The hotel is beautiful, the pools are magnificent, the breakfast buffet is amazing, and the staff are professional and friendly. That being said, we had the feeling that we were the youngest people there by about 30 years (or at least the only 30 somethings there without kids). I guess you just need to be aware of what you are booking; A relaxing, non-adventurous hotel, in a relaxing, non-adventurous town.

I loved the hotel! Rooms very spacious, Spa is excellent! Food mouthwatering! As well as a beautiful beach and stores and places to walk or ride a bike and take in the sights! Definitely worthwhile, a plus for me was the mutilingual staff! My German is not that good. :-). The only issue I had was something I had no control over, the weather. It rained and was cool, but the spa will keep you occupied.

Mit 3. besøg på A-Rosa i Travemunde skulle vise sig, at blive en skrækoplevelse. Larmende, skrigende og støjende børn for rundt som vilde dyr overalt på hotellet også i spa området. Vi så på intet tidspunk, at personalet bad dem om at dæmpe sig. Restauranten var overbooket de 2 dage vi overnattede og vi måtte nøjes med snackmad fra baren. Her ventede vi så, i over 20 minutter for vores drikke vare, som de havde glemt og ventede så, igen 20 minutter. Kaos og lange køer til morgenmadsbuffeten. Samtlige gode borde til morgenmaden var booket til børnefamilierne. Vi vender aldrig tilbage efter at stedet er lavet om til en familiepark, vi var maks. skuffede. Normalt stiller vi ikke høje krav og vi rejser en del, men dette ophold var bestemt ikke en fornøjelse. I øvrigt var det kun en af os som kunne nyde spabehandling, da der ikke var ledige tider!

Wir kennen das A-ROSA Travemünde seit vielen Jahren. Der Service und Standart des Hotels hat stark abgenommen, Renovierungsarbeiten sind zwingend notwendig in den Zimmern, Wellness erreich. Geräte waren defekt im Fitnessbereich, Dampfbad defekt und geschlossen. Viele angeschlagene Ecken und Kanten, Die heiße Sauna bedarf dringend einer Sanierung, Fliesen weisen überall Kalk auf. Seit sicherlich 10 Jahren wurde hier auch nicht wirklich mehr etwas getan. Leider auch im Buffett Restaurant eine Verschlechterung der Auswahl der Speisen und Flexibilität, Tische alle reserviert, dass man in den Oberflow Bereich musste, welcher nicht wirklich schön ist.
Insgesamt ein wirklich enttäuschender Aufenthalt, nachdem wir viele Jahre gerne ins Arosa gekommen sind.

Das einzige was zu bemängeln ist: der Parkplatz schien umsonst zu sein, beim auschecken kam dann die Rechnung von 15€ pro Tag. Das hätte man auch vorher sagen können…

Det er et super hotel. Maden er over gennemsnittet både morgenmad og aftenbuffet. Værelset vi havde var Superior med havudsigt, alt var pænt og rent, manglede blot en el-kedel men det er småting. Poolen var lækker både ude og indendørs (slout oktober). Til danske gæster bemærk sauna og dampbad, området er her som resten af Tyskland, uden badetøj og helt afslappet. For børne familier er der en sauna ved poolen hvor det tilladt med badetøj.

Letztlich waren wir wieder einmal von dem Benehmen und dem egoistischem Verhalten unserer Mitmenschen schockiert und genervt!
Grundsätzlich wären für ein absolutes Handy-Verbot in den Speisesälen und im Saunabereich. Vielleicht würden die Menschen dann wieder einmal etwas rücksichtsvoller und achtsamer miteinander umgehen und Vorgaben und Verhaltensregeln wieder mehr Bedeutung zukommen lassen.
Grundsätzlich wären für ein absolutes Handy-Verbot in den Speisesälen und im Saunabereich. Vielleicht würden die Menschen dann wieder einmal etwas rücksichtsvoller und achtsamer miteinander umgehen und Vorgaben und Verhaltensregeln wieder mehr Bedeutung zukommen lassen.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Blick in Richtung Trave/Ostsee mit Balkon gebucht. Grundsätzlich kann man gegen das neu renovierte Zimmer nichts sagen, wobei das Badezimmer hätte auch eine Auffrischung verdient nach den Jahren.
Leider wurde unser Zimmer nach der ersten Nacht nicht gereinigt, Handtücher nachgelegt oder die im Preis enthaltene Minibar nachgefüllt. Danach erlebten wir eine Odyssee mit der Rezeption und dem Service.
Hier liegt ein grundsätzlich unterschiedliches Verständnis von einem Kunden vor, der ein 5 - Sterne Haus wählt. Auch helfen Angebote nicht einer Late-Check-outs mit Spa-Nutzung, wenn bereits 10 Uhr morgens ist und vor der Tür des Zimmers schon das Räumkommando steht, da man den Raum jetzt mal reinigen will.
Dieses Angebot ist für mich gefühlt so, wie wenn ich am Morgen auf dem Nordpool jemanden zum Mittagessen auf den Südpool einlade.
Leider wurde unser Zimmer nach der ersten Nacht nicht gereinigt, Handtücher nachgelegt oder die im Preis enthaltene Minibar nachgefüllt. Danach erlebten wir eine Odyssee mit der Rezeption und dem Service.
Hier liegt ein grundsätzlich unterschiedliches Verständnis von einem Kunden vor, der ein 5 - Sterne Haus wählt. Auch helfen Angebote nicht einer Late-Check-outs mit Spa-Nutzung, wenn bereits 10 Uhr morgens ist und vor der Tür des Zimmers schon das Räumkommando steht, da man den Raum jetzt mal reinigen will.

Objektiv betrachtet war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Da wir aber schon einige Male im Arosa Kitzbühel waren, vergleicht man. Und da scheidet der Service einfach nicht so gut ab. Der Wohlfühlfaktor (für uns) war diesmal leider nicht wie gewohnt.

Man booker et supervisor værelse men sengen er 2 delt så man skal ligge i revnen. Der ikke en gang el-kedel så man kan lave the/kaffe på værelset. Minibar består blot af 2 flasker vand og 3 flasker saft.
Vi har været på billigere hoteller hvor dette var noget bedre udbud.

Opholdet var godt og på en skala fra 1-10 ligger vi på 8,5 Hvi jeg skal nævne noget negativt var der at de fra receptionen var meget længe om at ombytte min udleveret badekåbe til en passende størrelse. Det lykkes først efter 3 henvendelser. Hvilket var irriterende da badekåbe er en del af SPA opholdet og skal iføres inden besøg i afdelingen. Kort før hjemrejse går min hustru til værelset (et af de bedre deluxe) hvor der ud af det blå befinder sig en mandsperson som sidder og ryger? Hun bliver chokeret over at han befinder sig der samt at han tillader sig at ryge, Han siger intet og det viser sig at det er hotellets ekstern vinduespudser. Men det giver ham ikke ret til at være i værelset og slet ikke at ryge(ikke ryger værelse) Vi forklaret situationen til i receptionen. De kunne godt have tilbudt en form for kompensation for den meget dårlige oplevelse

Jeg har tidligere for en del år siden besøgt Arosa, og husker mine tidligere ophold som bedre end nu:) Det er et smukt sted. Travemünde er en charmerende lille by. Men Arosa virkede lidt "træt" Værelset pænt og rent men lidt brugt. Morgenmad fantastisk, aftensmad lidt trist!

Dejligt familie ophold på dette skønne hotel. Fin buffe, dejlig område med wellness og udendørs svømmepool. Da vi var en større gruppe fik vi et separat spisesal, hvilket gav os en mere privat ferie.

Der Aufenthalt ist wunderschön gewesen, kleine Abzüge in der B-Note: bei Ankunft hatten wir abends keine Möglichkeit einen kleinen Snack nach 6 Stunden Anreise zu erhalten, es gab nichts ausser Nüsse, die wir auf Grund von Allergie nicht essen konnten. Die E-Parkplätze sind nur mit Schlüssel zugänglich, was das ganze auch nicht einfacher macht. Das Frühstück ist das beste Frühstücksbuffet, daß wir jemals gesehen haben. Honig von der Wabe bis hin zu selbst kreiirten Smoothies oder Lactose Drinks war alles nicht durch da, sondern auch noch in vielfältigen Varianten verfügbar. Für uns eine absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Das Arosa ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen. Abgeschrammt und mit dem Charme eines Sanatoriums. Geschmacklose Einrichtung, keine Steckdosen (ausser für den Staubsauger) in den Zimmern, keine Haustelefone, kein Zimmer-Service, kein Kaffee am Platz, dass Frühstücks-Buffet atmosphärisch wie Kantine.

Der Service am Abend war aufmerksam und nett. Morgens hingegen wurden wir nicht einmal nach unseren Getränkewünschen gefragt.
Für mich als begeisterte Schwimmerin war es aber besonders ärgerlich, dass der Poolbereich neuerdings erst um 8.00 Uhr geöffnet wird. Die ortsansässigen Senioren vertreiben sich die Zeit bis zur Wassergymnastik um 8.30 Uhr ebenfalls im Pool. Nur leider nicht mit schwimmen. Beim Geplansche wird der neuste Tagestratsch ausgetauscht und das auf allen Bahnen im Außenbecken. Nicht nur mir ging das extrem auf den Geist!

Zudem war es zur Parkseite ausgerichtet und furchtbar laut aufgrund der dort lebenden Vögel, dafür kann das Hotel nichts direkt, aber bei den Preisen ist das einfach nicht der Hit. Parken kostet extra, der Hund kostet extra (35€ pro Tag)!!! Ich stand an der Rezeption, ein Gast meinte das seine Frau noch spontan nachkommen würde und sie gerne für eine Nacht hinzubuchen würde. Die Rezeption meinte daraufhin zu ihm, dass das 60€ inklusive spa Nutzung und Frühstück kosten würde!!!! Unser Hund nutzt weder den Spa, noch das Frühstück (an beide Orte dürfen Hunde nicht). Das ist alles in allem eine enttäuschende Erfahrung gewesen.

Für den Preis nicht angemessen.
Ich hatte extra vorher telefonisch nach den Corona Bedingingen gefragt, aber offensichtlich eine falsche Aussage bekommen. Es war Maskenpflicht und eine Aerztliche Befreiung wurde dann noch nicht einmal akzeptiert. Um 09. 00h wurde ich immer geweckt durch die Poolanlage, das Sprudel therapiebecken ist toll, nur sehr laut auf meinem Zimmer. Teppich und Bett waren fleckig. Schrank mit Tesakrep gekleppt. Wlan zu langsam zum arbeiten. Der Schreibtischstuhl aus den 70gern, durchgesaessener geht es nicht.

Det var fint mht. Spa faciliteterne. Morgenmaden var rigtig fin. Aftensmad ville jeg heller have muligheden for at vælge mellem forskellige menuer i stedet for buffet. Men det viste man jo på forhånd så hvis man ikke er til buffet så lad være at bestille incl. der er masser af rigtig fine restauranter i gå afstand. Priserne var der ikke noget at sige til.

Lækkert sted og meget venlige mennesker der arbejder på stedet. Maden og morgenmanden var virkeligt lækkert. Eneste minus synes vi er spa-området var lidt kedeligt og alt for lidt liggestole.

Det hele startede med 4 timers forsinkelse pga. rod fra hotellets side - som aldrig blev undskyldt.

Es hat uns gut gefallen, aber nicht so gut wie vor 4 Jahren. Uns drängt sich ein wenig der Eindruck auf, dass das Arosa langsam in die Jahre kommt und für die 5 Sterne Kategorie noch eine kleine Schippe drauflegen sollte/könnte/müsste.

Schon öfters in diesem Hotel gewesen-das spricht für sich! Es gibt einige absolute Pluspunkte, z.B.die angebotenen Yogastunden und ich bekam ein richtig fein ruhiges Zimmer. Das Frühstück lässt auch für Vegetarier und Müslifreunde keinen Wunsch offen. Wunderbare Spaziergänge runden einen erholsamen Aufenthalt ab. Ein Wermutstropfen war heuer die reglementierte Fr0hstückszeit. Es ist nicht angenehm, wenn man weiss "von 9 bis 10h" ...ist für mich die Frühstückszeit! Das stresst einfach schon am Abend davor. Und dann waren leider zweimal noch die Yogastunden mittendrin eingeplant!! Schade, denn knapp nach dem Essen/Frühstück sollte man wirklich kein Yoga betreiben. Besser am späteren Nachmitag anbieten?! Das war aber erst heuer so, wegen der Pandemie eben, um das Frühstücksaufkommen zu entflechten! Sonst war alles bestens!

Das Personal war in Ordnung, bei Hilfestellung Restaurant ect sehr unflexibel. Hatte für 60 Geburtstag einiges Vorab Gebucht, leider vergessen einen Tisch für Abends zu reservieren fragte nach dies so kurzfristig nicht möglich, sollten in der Nähe zum Italienischen Restaurant gehen war ein Schnell Imbiss. 5 Sterne Haus Kinder mit Lauf-Fahrrad im Restaurant. Zu Corona Zeiten jeder Bediente sich selbst am Büfett Kinder in jedem Alter!! Und die Senioren waren damit beim Frühstück beschäftigt wie viele geschmierte Brötchen man in der Handtasche nach draußen bringen kann. Wellness Bereich sehr schön, Sauna keine Handtücher vor Ort, Becher für Wasserspender musste man am Eingangsbereich extra holen und Handtücher ebenfalls. Bar wurde von den Kindern als Spielplatz genutzt auch dort keine Ruhe. Erholung in diesem Hause schwierig, leider. Mein Mann hat eine Krebserkrankung und Chemotherapie und wir sind Opfer der Flut in Bad Neuenahr und hätten gerne etwas mehr Ruhr und Einfühlungsvermögen uns gewünscht.

Man hätte z.B. den Leseraum schon etwas früher gefunden . Da half auch keine App.
