Food was good but the air conditioner did not work at all and it was so stuffy that we were unable to sleep , we did close the patio door and had it turned to cold but only warm stuffy air came out the entire night , we booked this place for the fact that they have air conditioning , if you like warm sauna like temp you’ll love it for sleeping

Lovely hotel and Area

Lovely hotel and area. Stayed as a family of 4, the employees throughout the hotel were lovely. The food at the buffet was good quality. Kids loved both the main and splash pool.
They had an awesome Halloween display throughout the foyer, restaurant and one down the corridor which was lovely.

Just returned from a 5 night stay.Had a sea view room which was great - worth the extra money. Excellent location and so close to beach and amenities. Food was generally good but would have liked more variety each evening. Friendly and welcoming reception staff and hotel kept spotlessly clean. Would return and definitely recommend.

Beware of the buffet

Beautiful pool area, sea view amazing. Room quite small, bed comfy. Just one dressing table chair so no where to sit in room. Got food poisoning 2 days in and spent rest of the holiday in the room. Evening meal buffet unrelaxed, very busy, hot food not kept at correct temperature. We had decided not to eat there again unfortunately we got severe bout of food poisoning that night.

Poor hotel stay - not a 4 Star in our view

During our 5 days, the towels were changed once [after asking], the toiletries were changed once [after asking multiple times] and the front desk really unhelpful. The pool and bar staff were great. The spa [6€ extra] was cold, no steam in the steam room, no heat in the sauna and the jacuzzis were chilly. The food ranged from awful to ok and generally had no taste at all - this takes quite some skill! There are no circumstances under which I would return to this hotel.

Poor value hotel. Food is average at best and served in a very busy and poorly organised dining room. Akin to a verybpoor all inclusive. No effort to make the dining room any different for dinner service.
Gym equipment in poor state of repair and mostly unusable.

We booked a sea view room with two double beds. We were allocated a side sea view room with one king bed and after making a fuss a foldable single bed was added to the room. This was most unsatisfactory and not what we had booked, we sayer in the room as we were to tired to repackage our bags and move. We are two widowed ladies and were not pleased .

We booked this hotel after reading some great reviews, but on arrival we were allocated our so called superior recently refurbished room which had two small shelves and a narrow wardrobe with 8 coat hangers. I spoke with reception and they informed me that we could have an older non superior room, which was due for refurbishment, on the other side of the building. This was not a practical option so we put up with living out of two large suitcases for four days. The food is of a good standard but the entertainment was geared mainly towards young children and at times we thought we were at Butlins. The staff are friendly and helpful and if we were younger with small children we would probably have enjoyed it more.

Everything was fine, but there were too many people in the swimming pool that was unpleasant to take a bath. It was not relaxing.
For the size of the hotel and the number of guests there are at the same time, the pool is small. Let's see, the pool itself is not small, what makes it small is the number of clients using it at the same time.

Amazing hotel, even better staff

The Best Sabinal was absolutely brilliant. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially chefs Raul and Daniel who went well above and beyond their duty to cater for our son who has allergies. The meal times always had a big selection of delicious food. The chefs are obviously very talented to serve such huge quantities without sacrificing the quality.
The room was huge, very clean and stocked with everything that would be expected.
We went all inclusive and the range of food and drinks included was great. The bar staff were very helpful in dealing with our sons allergies when it came to getting food outside of normal meal times.
The entertainment program was fun for both kids and adults. Roberto was the heart of the fun and always provided an abundance of laughs as well as having an exceptional demeanour with the children, who loved him.
The pools were great. Our kids who love the sea wanted to spend more time in the pools than the sea, which is a big compliment. The outside facilities have been well planned so that children are safe and easy to keep an eye on from the comfort of the sun beds. The entire complex is gated at the back with tasteful glass barriers to prevent the children leaving the hotel grounds, but with access to the beach via a gate that is unlocked with your room key card. It is a great system.
I couldn’t have been happier with the hotel. The only thing that needed improvement was my Spanish!

Overall was a very nice experience, the hotel is immaculate, the room was a little small but the pool area is absolutely lovely!!..... Breakfast was an extremely noisy experience and not at all relaxing, tables would benefit from having table cloths.... Was all very much like a school canteen!!.... Was glad not to be booked in for dinner!
However excellent value for money!!.... Also a beautiful open air chapel a few minutes walk away!

Lovely clean hotel and rooms. All staff friendly from checking in to the restaurant. Vast choice of food available. Lovely pool area although lots of sun beds which may be rather busy in the summer. October was fine. Still some towels put out reserving sunbeds so this should be discouraged. Stayed several times at this hotel and will go back.

Brilliant Hotel

I am a Best Loyality member having been to hotels in costa del sol, Tenerife and I have been holidaying in Roquestas for the last 12 years, watched this hotel develop and when Best group invested in it last year decided to stayover for 1 night this year whilst we were in the resort again.

We had room 657 overlooking the Playa Serena beach area fantastic view and suntrap on the roof of the hotel, the room was large and no complaints but was looking forward to a refurbished room maybe next time.

Tastefully furnished bars, lounges, reception area, pool area is huge with large main pool which was packed out 10am lots of loungers, kids pool with slides and parasols as the sun is really hot down here.

Great indoor pool and spa area, kids club.

The food in theses hotels is always fabulous lots of choice but restaurant seemed smaller in comparison to the rooms.

Large outdoor space for seating and bars.

Huge entertainment programme to keep everybody entertained who wants it.

The staff are all hard working and really friendly.

Good vibes right on the beach, living our best life. Lots of lovely bars down the road and easily accessible.

I can only describe the hotel as a resort
VERY loud resort not what we expected from Expedia when we booked .

The hotel is definitely not ideal for couples who want to relax. Music in one bar competing with the other area so loudly. Families shouting at each other to communicate above the sound. When walking on the promenade it was fine until we reached the embarrassing hotel we were staying in. Embarrassingly loud. Other couples around us got up and said they had had enough and retreated to their rooms as did we. Not a relaxing three days and very very disappointed in this hotel. It should carry a warning for couples or those seeking a relaxing break.

Lovely but busy hotel

We stayed in Best Sabinal for a week in June. The hotel is lovely, modern and right on the beach with great facilities. It really caters for all inclusive customers (which we were not) which is great if you don't want to move from the hotel for your entire stay but it means that the surrounding area consists of empty restaurants, bars and streets which we found very strange. Our room was clean and modern but we were at the back of the hotel on the 1st floor. The downside of this is that we could not sit on our balcony because of the noise of the vents coming from the restaurant below and the noise of the restaurant at breakfast time was so loud from 7am. You can also hear everything through the walls so quite unlucky when you have noisy kids on either side! Apart from those issues we had a lovely stay, the pool is great and easy enough to get a lounger, quick and easy check in, luggage storage and friendly staff. However, if you are looking for a town with a bit of atmosphere Roquetas de Mar is not the place!

The food at the hotel is terribly poor quality and the dining area is chaotic. You have to fight through the hoards of very rude Spanish people to get any food. Stay room only and eat out! They have the heating on for all the old people, as the staff told us despite it being 24 degrees outside and no air conditioning 👎

Great location and good value for money

It was chaos when we arrived at 10 am, The reception area was crammed with queues of people waiting to check in. We had to wait until 1 pm to get our keys but were able to make the most of the all inclusive facilities and refreshments from 11. When we went to our room we were really impressed with the style and cleanliness. We booked a superior sea view room, which was definitely worth the extra cost.

Most of the staff were really helpful, except for one bar man who was really miserable and tried to make life difficult whenever he could, having said that it didn't spoil our experience. It gets really crowded around the pool so we went to the beach, which was peaceful and still close enough to use the hotels facilities. .

Great food but no indoor pool for kids

The rooms have obviously just been renovated so the rooms were pleasant but relatively basic. A desk chair would have been nice, for example, and there was very little storage space for clothes, especially for a family staying in one room. We had a little table in the corner but no chairs there either (although, giving the hotel the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were waiting for these to be delivered given that the renovation was so recent. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent, especially for the price for half board - so much choice and always meat and fish option freshly prepared at the cooking station while you wait as well as freshly cooked stir-fried vegetables. On the downside, we were extremely disappointed by the fact that Hotels.com says that there is an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym, etc. but children under 12 are not allowed in at all. This was really annoying as we had specifically chosen this hotel as it had an indoor pool and we were not expecting the weather to be brilliant. Add to that the fact that, if we had gone into the indoor leisure facilities, we would have had to pay an extra EUR 4.50 per person per session or EUR 6.50 per person per day and suddenly it becomes an expensive game. We were not aware of these extra charges either. This put something of a damper on our enjoyment of the holiday as it was far too cold to swim in the outdoor pool and we specifically wanted the kids to be able to practise their swimming.

Taxi from the airport is approx 50 euros ..........Tip ...Colisimo bar opposite the hotel front entrance is very popular .

I would say at these prices the hotel should provide free parking. They charge 4.50 euro for indoor pool usage.
What is tis? ! The made did not change the bed, did not leave soap, did not leave towels ! Again at these prices
I would except these to be done. In the shower the shower holder were broken, so only way to shower is to hold
the shower head in your hand.

We had a very pleasant stay, being early in the season lots of older people mostly Spanish very friendly and good fun. Food was ok but got cold quickly. Fortunately we discovered a microwave which improved things! Hotel looking a little \"tired\" and could use an update especially in the bathroom areas, but it was clean and sheets and towels changed everyday.

Nice hotel with the beach at your finger tips!! Staff knows English and are friendly. The buffet has delicious authentic food. There is a bar, pool, and bus stop out front. Lots of restaurants and souvenir shops around hotel. It is about 30 to 40 mins to the city. Overall me and my husband had a lovely experience at the hotel and city.

We checked in to the hotel and were given an upgrade to a very nice room; quite modern and clean with a balcony overlooking the garden. Parking was free in the car park which had one space left, which was a bonus.
Unfortunately the rest of the hotel wasn't our kind of thing. The swimming pool is far to small for the sheer amount of people in it. It was always very packed. The noise from the pool area, whether the sheer hum of rowdy people (Brits and Spanish mainly) or the booming music, could be heard from a long way outside the complex.
Wi-fi is occassionally available downstairs, right by reception, sometimes in the bar but sometimes not. No wi-fi in the rooms.
Breakfast is OK, there's quite a lot of choice, but once again there are so many people bumping into eachother.
I asked reception where I could find a nice restaurant - he answered \"fish and chips?\" which sums the place up really.
We stayed on the beach which was much nicer, though right in front of the hotel you could still hear the noise from within.
There's not loads nearby, but the walk along the beach path to the right of the hotel is quite pleasant.

Nice hotel- no air conditioning.

The hotel is well situated and well kept. However, the air conditioning was on only 1 of 7 days. The room temperature got to 85-90 F in the AM. There was an early heat wave in the area. To get the upgraded room we had paid for, we had to pay extra. The food was decent steam table fare with a wide selection. The location is very good, beachfront and near shops and restaurants.

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel war sauber, das Personal freundlich. Beim Abendessen konnten wir alle etwas Leckeres finden und wurden satt. Frühstück eher kontinental gehalten. Zimmer eher klein, dafür aber 2 große Betten, was wir sehr schön fanden.

El hotel estupendo, pero Expedia una verdadera estafa. Pagué pensión completa y los datos que pasaron al hotel eran de solo alojamiento. No he podido hacer nada. Me han estafado 116€. Menos mal que solo fueron 2 noches. A la próxima los va a utilizar su padre. Porque a mí no me vuelven a pillar.

La tranquilidad de la habitación, la piscina, lo que menos me gusto fue que era difícil encontrar sombrilla, teóricamente esta prohibido reservar hamacas pero cuando bajabas estaba todo cogido

Me encantó el trato de restaurante tanto mariano como Juan Luis y pepi,atentos simpáticos te hacen la estancia encantadora, es la 2a vez que repetimos. Creo que volveremos.
Por ponerle un pero en 2017 la variedad de comida era enorme, este año supongo que por el tema covid19 todo ha decaído un poco, esperemos que vuelvan como antes. El mejor hotel que he pisado nunca. GRACIAS.

Unieke ligging
Mooi, groot hotel met ruime, verzorgde buffetten.
Het was wel lawaaierig in het restaurant omdat het zo vol zat; maar daar kan het personeel niets aan doen; personeel was trouwens heel behulpzaam! Lekkere coctails 's avonds en je krijgt waar voor je geld als je All in neemt. Aanrader!

De ligging is perfect,het is wel zeer druk,de eetzaal is overbezet en vreselijk lawaaierig ,dan word het ongezellig tafelen natuurlijk!De kamers zijn wel erg gehorig,vooral tijdens het slapen gaan van de Spaanse families met kinderen.Doch blijft dit voor mij het beste prijs kwaliteit hotel van roquetas de mar.
