A bit worse for wear

The hotel rooms are in major need of modernisation, extremely dated by modern standards. I think it is the only hotel where there as been a corby trouser press in the room. The room itself was very hot and there was no fan in the room. The pillows were just awful, they just disappeared into nothing when you put your head on them.

An ok hotel

The room was small the pillows were not comfortable but the room was clean

You need to reserve in the hotle restaurant for lunch or dinner or they will not serve you and that is strange since the local area doesn't have manny restaurant and the business center was 1 computer with 1 printer and i couldn't acess the internet to manage my booking due to network issue

I was there for 2 day business trip and the hotle served it purpose

The staff were friendly and helpful

Pity first impression was very good.

Whilst reception staff were friendly and informative. I found the bar staff to be very unfriendly. As the room had no coffee or tea making facilities i went to the bar there i saw a coffee machine i went to look what was on offer, immediately this woman started shouting at me in a very aggressive manner to say i was shocked would be an understatement. Seems i was not allowed.near the machine and only she was to operate it. I got a coffee in the end. I would have appreciated if she tried to ask or tell me also in English as my German skills are limited. I then made the decision to use other facilities in the town. I related the experience to my colleagues and was informed other visiting colleagues have at times had a similar type of experience and use other hotels in the near instead.

A quiet place to relax.

Convenient to many interesting historic places

Have stayed in hotel before. In 2001 spent 4 months here. In 2006 again.
Hotel condition and layout still very well maintained.
Found staff (mostly trainees) under pressure and not very customer friendly. Assume it has to do with management style.

Modern hotel in heart of historic district.

Lovely, contemporary hotel with a very good restaurant and little outdoor cafe that even had a jazz trio on some mid week evenings. Located right across the street from the castle (Schloss) gardens and a very short walk from the historic church (Dom). Excellent breakfast buffet and the hotel has parking available. As with most hotels in north central Europe, there is no air conditioning, but thanks to the excellent window design, it was comfortable in spite of a hot spell with the high temperature near 93 / 34. Good value. Highly recommended.

Friendly and inviting hotel

Lovely hotel, set in a peaceful and relaxing environment, we sat out in the front garden sipping our drinks for hours on one of the evenings.The staff were efficient and very friendly.
We dined in one night and had a fabulous meal.
On the down side, the town centre was unimpressive except for the old section.The breakfast was expensive: 17 euro per person.
Overall I would recommend this hotel for a quiet and relaxing stay.

We were attending an event at the castle, which is around 200 m from the hotel, and could not be more convenient. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is built in the style of the surrounding buildings and blends in very nicely. The restaurant food was gorgeous, so we had meals in the hotel every night.
Straight across from the hotel, there's a lovely well kept park. It is pretty extensive and the flowers were lovely.
Merseburg is a small town with friendly people and the hotel is five minutes walk from the centre. If I was returning for another visit, I would not hesitate to book the radisson blu there once again. I really enjoyed my stay there

Radisson Blu in Halle-Merseberg

Nice hotel in beautiful, stately surroundings. Walking distance from the small downtown, restaurants, etc. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Never got to try the dinner as they had a seniors bus tour in that filled the entire restaurant to the exclusion of other guests.

Quiet location, rooms comfortable. Only issue for us was pillows (about two inches thick only) - we found this in every German Hotel we stayed in.

Superb Hotel

I used this hotel as a stayover on my way into Poland. To be honest, I'd wished I'd have booked a few extra nights. The hotel was quite simply superb. The room was well equipped, the beds comfy, I had my best nights sleep in a long time, the rooms were huge, and the bathroom was bigger than most bedrooms at budget hotels. I have been lucky enough to have stayed in what are classed as some of the best hotels in the world, but this one surely ranks amongst them. The staff, well, they couldn't do enough for me, even if my German was limited. There was two coach parties that had arrived and they pretty much filled the restaraunt, but they found room for me, made a table appear from no-where and the food was honestly 1st class. (A good tip was left) To cap it all, I got all of this for an unbelievable rate !!!! If anyone was ever looking for a quiet weekend getaway, this is the place I would recommend to anyone

Missmanaged!

This time I stayed in this hotel for 16 days. It’s a pity that such a beautiful hotel in a perfect location is so badly managed. I start with the cleaning of the room, it’s ready in less than 1 minute! I’m not kidding, it’s the truth, they never clean or disinfect the toilet sit, or the bathroom sink, they never collect empty bottles of water that you may have left behind, and they never change the bed sheets! They just put your towels in place and make the bed, that’s all. On Friday’s everyone of the hotel personnel leaves their work early, so don’t plan having a drink in the beautiful hotel front, nobody is working that day. Do you need to order some laundry? Forget about it between Friday and Monday! The are no people willing to earn some money on those days. So the service is closed… the personnel is mostly relaxing in the basement on a quiet spot they have there..and so on, it seems like the hotel manager doesn’t care about the guests at all. I am really disappointed about this hotel. It could be just a wonderful place to stay.

Hotel in toller Lage direkt am Schlosspark in Merseburg. Freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück. Unser Zimmer war leider im alten Nebenhaus. Auf Grund der hohen Außentemparaturen und fehlender Klimatisierung war kein entspannter Schlaf möglich. Das Zimmer wirkte etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Macken in der Badewanne und Löcher in den Gardinen könnten jedoch bemerkt und reapriert werden.

Hotel befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude, von daher fehlen einige Annehmlichkeiten (z.B. Klimaanlage), die man sonst von einem Hotel diese Kategorie erwarten würde. Wird aber aufgewogen durch tolle Lage und Aussicht.

The hotel is a little old. The cleaning was very good, but there were cobwebs outside as if the windows had not been opened for a long time. The pillows are so soft that you can only sleep with two of them.

Total veraltet und abgenutzt

Für den Preis leider überhaupt nicht schön. Über Einrichtung lässt sich ja streiten, aktuell ist es in jedem Fall nicht. Wenn es wenigstens noch schön wäre, dann hätte ich auch nichts dagegen aber es ist wirklich abgeranzt mittlerweile. Schade.

Sehr schöne Lage am Schlosspark. Zimmer angenehm eingerichtet und ausreichend groß. Tiefgarage gegen Aufpreis von 12€ fand ich etwas teuer. Alternativen lassen sich in der Umgebung finden. Habe mich wohlgefühlt. Für eine Nacht völlig zufriedenstellend. Zum Frühstück und zum Wellnessbereich kann ich nichts sagen.

Wir waren zufrieden!

Die 4 bzw 4.5 Sterne kann das Haus aus unserer Sicht zwar nicht ganz erreichen, aber dennoch waren wir summa summarum mit dem Radisson Blu gut zufrieden. Die Ausstattung schien nicht auf dem aktuellsten Stand (so vermissten wir z.B. eine Klimatisierung auf unseren Zimmern), mit geöffnetem Fenster konnten wir die Zimmertemperatur jedoch auf ein erträgliches Maß senken. Da es mit reservierten Zustellbett wohl Probleme gab, hat uns das Hotel bei der Ankunft ein initiativ ein zusätzliches Einzelzimmer zum Preis eines Extra-Betts angeboten - fanden wir gut! Parkplatz ist verhältnismäßig teuer, da wir nur eine Nacht geblieben sind, parkten wir auf der Straße vor dem Hotel - Parkscheibe 2h von 9-17h. Das Frühstück (Buffet) hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, alles essentielle war vorhanden, 17EUR pP erschien uns im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Hotels schon happig. Der Gesamtpreis Ü+F im Anbetracht der zentralen Lage ist allerdings akzeptabel.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht. Dennoch hat man zweimal versucht uns separat 34,00 Euro für das überschaubare Frühstück zu berechnen. Bei der Abreise sogar nachdrücklich. Ich musst erst alle Unterlagen herauskramen und mich beweisen. Zum Dank blieb der Blick der Dame an der Rezeption weiterhin versteinert, Lächeln kostet sicher auch extra. Auf die Äusserung einer Entschuldigung wurde auch verzichtet.
Eigentlich sollen man der der Rezeption besonders fröhlich sein. Ist es doch einer der wenigen klimatisierten Räume bei 35 Grad Aussentemperatur im ganzen Hotel.
Vezicht übt das Hotel auch in Sachen Hygienartikel. Außer Duschgel ist das Bad leer. Ebenso leer die Minibar. Wasser aus der Leitung ist zum Glück nicht limitiert und Gläser stehen in der Vitrine.
Einzig wegen der Lage am Schlosspark mit Fluss in der Nähe macht einen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel mit der Charm der 90iger noch Sinn.

Frühstück war unter Corona Bedingungen gut gelöst und umfangreich. Der Service ist stets nett gewesen. Die Suite im Altbau war geräumig und schön bis auf kleine Schönheitsmängel. Die Lage der Suite zum Park ist sehr schön, leider zum Abend nach 22:00 Uhr noch laut durch Parkbesucher.

Laut Hotel-Angaben ist die warme Küche bis 22Uhr geöffnet. Als wir dort waren, war die Küche nur bis 21:30Uhr geöffnet. OIbwohl ich mitgeteilt habe, dass ein Kollege nach 5 Stunden Anfahrt kurz vor 21:30Uhr anreisen wird und etwas essen möchte, wurde pünktlich um 21:30Uhr alles weggeräumt (Büffet). Der Speisesaal war noch ziemlich voll. Sowas geht gar nicht. Wir werden hier nicht mehr übernachten.

Verwechslung, Verwechslung, Verwechslung!

Verwechslung der Zimmer. Das Zimmer war nicht für zwei Personen, die kein Paar sind, vorgesehen (gemeinsames Bett). Die Handtücher trotz des Aufrufes BLUE PLANET wurden jeden Tag unnötig gewechselt, obwohl sie nicht auf dem Boden sondern auf den dafür vorgesehenen Einrichtungen aufgehängt waren.

Der Frühstücksraum und vor allem die Bar sind sehr ungünstig in den Lobbybereich \"integriert\".
Dafür ein Minus.

Auf den ersten Blick war das Hotel ganz okay. Also das Zimmer betraten kam dann jedoch das Erwachen. Obwohl es 4 Sterne hat, wirkt das Hotel sehr sehr alt und runtergekommen Punkt das Modelljahr sowie die gesamte Einrichtung wirkt er wie vor 30 Jahren. Sauberkeit war okay, hätte jedoch besser sein können. Zurückgrüßen stand eine angefangene Flasche Wasser da und schmutzige Gläser.
Wer hier in schönes Vier-Sterne-Hotel erwartet, sollte sich eher mit drei Sternen zufriedengeben

Sehr netter Empfang und sehr nette Menschen die dort arbeiten.
Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer war soweit in Ordnung nur das Bad geht so gar nicht. Erstens schlecht geputzt ( vor allem das WC) keine vernünftige Heizung (ein Elektro Schnellheizer der auch schon bessere Tage gesehen hat ) und ein Marmorboden der völlig fleckig ist . Nicht schön.
Die Lage ist toll.

Alt var fint - MEN aircondition manglede

På et hotel med 4.5 stjerner er det forventeligt at værelset er med aircondition. Det var det ikke og det var meget varmt- 38 gr. Ellérs var alt andet meget fint, god service og god restaurant

Sehr schönes Hotel in reizvoller Umgebung

Wir haben in zwei Appartment zwei Nächte gebucht. Die Zimmer waren sehr warm. Nachdem wir gelüftet hatte war es angenehm. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Kleines Minus. Wir mussten für unseren Sohn , der allergiker ist, extra Milch und Brötchen und Müsli besorgen, da im Hause leider kein dementsprechendes Essen vorhanden war.

Wir haben dieses Hotel gebucht, weil es sehr gut bewertet war und im Raum Leipzig nicht mehr viel frei war. Das Hotel hat den Beschreibungen nicht entsprochen. Es ist sehr altbacken und ungemütlich.

Fantastic room in a fantastic hotel !

This hotel is AMAZING ! My room was spotlessly clean - with LOTS of space and facilities - actually beeing way better than many five-star hotels I have stayed in (no names mentioned). The staff was really friendly and service-minded and the breakfast was excellent. And parking was real easy in a cellar with direct lift-access to the reception and the rooms. What more can You ask for ?

Zentral gelegenes Hotel für Ausflüge geeignet

Die Lage bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Leider mussten wir einen Punkt bemängeln. Die Heizung im Bad besteht aus einer Heizlampe in der Decke, die mit ihrer Kapazität nicht einmal den Kopf erreicht. Es war dementsprechend kalt.
