We were a little unsure upon our arrival - the ‘E’ was missing from the sign outside and the reception area feels a little dated and not in keeping with the rooms.
HOWEVER, the main building and rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were beautifully designed and the the lovely Aqua di Palma toiletries are a very nice touch. The breakfasts, served in the garden, are simple and delicious as was lunch. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. It is a short, but steep, walk into the town, where there is a good choice of restaurants. We loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The rooms were charming and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed looking out over the pool from our balcony with a cup of coffee after breakfast, which was absolutely delicious! The pool area was also well appointed with sun loungers and umbrellas, perfect for relaxing during the heat of the day.
It is a short, easy walk from the hotel to Saint Paul de Vence, a stunning fortress, now teeming with gourmet restaurants, shops and art galleries. We loved walking along the former rampart walls and getting lost amongst the cobblestone alleyways that you can practically touch both sides of with your shoulders! Sunsets were stunning from the lookouts, and we highly recommend splitting a croque monsieur while watching or after playing a game of “boules” in the beautiful square outside the fortress walls.
The hotel is also about a ten minute drive from a bustling shopping centre that offers many delightful French boutiques and department stores, the typical high street shops, a bakery and grocery store. It was the perfect place to stock up on wine for our hotel room and grab a few necessities after our luggage was delayed.
We would absolutely stay here next time we visited South of France! It is a beautiful, quintessential French hotel tucked into the picturesque hillside. It is peaceful and quiet, and so close to many attractions and amenities.

A hidden paradise! Our stay was wonderful from start to finish - staff super friendly, always accommodating and the hotel was beautiful.

Breakfast was 5* and the lovely staff were happy to bring drinks to us by the pool each day. The hotel is easily and safely walkable to St Paul de Vence for dining options and to walk around the stunning hilltop village.

Would struggle to find improvements so the following are relatively minor: an in-room fridge would be good as well as a mirror in the bedroom. Pool patio could do with some weeding and tidying. Sound does travel between the rooms but to be expected with the characteristic nature of the lovely accommodation building. Non-smokers would benefit from a designated smoking / non-smoking area by the pool but appreciate this may not be the norm in France.

Wonderful stay overall and absolutely hope to be back soon! Thank you to Shelley and the team for their hospitality and amazing stay!

This hotel is so chic and cute! A lot of the hotels I looked at in this price range didn’t feel luxurious and this felt luxe with a beautiful pool, balconies and decor! If you want to make the actual hotel part of your stay and relax by a pool, highly recommend!

Nice small villa in the beautiful St Paul de Vence town. Sherry, the property manager, gave us a room upgrade with a nice balcony where we can see the beautiful landscape of the town. The medieval village is about 10 minutes from the hotel. There is a path that you can walk to the village. The morning breakfast is very nice and elegant.

We had two suites reserved and they were the biggest rooms we had stayed in during our travels to the French Riviera so it was a treat to have some spreading out room. We had been staying in a private residence where there was no air conditioning so finally having AC in our suites was a dream with the extremely hot temperatures outside. We opted to have the morning breakfast and it was filling and delicious. Shelly from the front desk checked on us during breakfast and was absolutely wonderful. She spoke English and gave us so many tips about our next destination.
The only issues we had:
There were a lot of steps to get to your room from the parking lot with large heavy bags.
The king bed was extremely firm and felt like you were sleeping on the hardwood floor.
The bathroom area of one of our suites smelled of old cigarette smoke, especially after a hot shower.
All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel property.

Loved everything about this clean, friendly, quiet and beautiful hotel, close to Saint Paul de Vence, the pool was great, highly recommended. Room with balcony overlooking view and swimming pool. Easy access to pool from room. Cleaned daily - fresh towels and toiletries. Flexible magnifying make up mirror in bathroom - brilliant!. Meals not provided but Shelley was always happy to provide coffee/ drinks and help with directions for sightseeing and to make restaurant bookings. We had a relaxing, enjoyable stay and would be happy to stay there again.

If planning a base in Saint Paul de Vence, then this hotel is great. However, it's about a 15 minute walk to the entrance of the walled village, so if you're not into walking then it might not work for you. We love to walk, so was perfect.

Had a great stay for a week here. The hotel is very quiet and relaxed, the pool area is lovely, rooms were very light and clean. It's a 12-15 min walk into the centre of beautiful St Paul de Vence, however this wasn't too much of an issue. The staff and owner were happy to help with everything and extremely friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was a short distance from Saint-Paul with decent parking. The room was very small but very clean. The breakfast was nice and the area was very quiet. The staff was very helpful. They also have a nice pool but we did not use it.

The hotel is clean and well kept. Nice room with a balcony and a view over the hotel pool. Comfortable bed, nice linen, quiet and dark room, parking, great breakfast. Wifi very sketchy.
We were very happy that no one used the pool as it is very close to all the rooms and you would hear every sound.

We thought the location excellent as we regularly visit St Paul de Vence. The hotel had the potential for a most enjoyable visit, its location, bedroom and pool were most presentable and comfortable. Its proximity to the old town, Nice and Cannes, and walks in the near countryside were most attractive to us. Perhaps a drinks service at the pool, and a more personal approach would add to this fundamentally attractive hotel.

Les Vergers de Saint Paul

The hotel is well located if you have a car, although you need to get out early to find parking in the town. The hotel itself is charming with lovely staff who looked after our needs promptly and with enthusiasm. There is a lovely swimming pool and lounge area for sunbathing which is very relaxing. Only problem is that in the bathroom there is no shower - so we had to have a bath each morning which we are not used to. Still if that was the worst thing it was not so bad.

A real little gem of a hotel, really clean, super staff, amazing area, lovely rooms, nice pool, would recommend highly to everyone & would definately return. We went with our 4 year old daughter and felt very comfortable. You could do the walk (would need to be fit & have sensible walking shoes) into the town but with small child at night it was far better to get a taxi because of distance, dark & lack of footpath in part. Really beautiful place to visit in France.

Les Vergers de Saint Paul - chic haven

This is a very chic, well maintained hotel with impeccable housekeeping. The lovely pool is a delight after a hot day sight seeing. Our room was small but beautifully formed! Super bathroom in black and white marble/tiles. Breakfast was good but expensive at 14Euros each. It is a good 20 minute walk from the lovely hill top town of St Paul de Vence. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

En líneas generales bien, pero necesito urgentemente un decorador y una inversión para actualizar un Hotel que se ha quedado simplemente viejo.
El jardín, donde dan de desayunar es un secarral en cuesta realmente incómodo y feo. El desayuno no merece la pena hacerlo en el Hotel, es mejor ir al pueblo.

Beautiful and calm hotel with nice staff and a lovely breakfast. They could have improved the outside area where they serve breakfast and there is only one pizza restaurant close to the hotel. For more restaurants you have to walk 15-20 min to the village. Other than that this hotel is an absolute gem!

Rommet hadde nydelig altan og utsikt til svømmebassenget, men rommet var veldig lite. Med to store kofferter måtte vi sjonglere litt for å få nok gulvplass. Service veldig bra, gode solsenger, fint basseng og en herlig landsby 15 minutters gange fra hotellet.

A little hidden gem close to Nice

I stayed at this hotel for two nights with my partner and I absolutely loved it. It’s the perfect little hidden gem close to St. Paul de Vence and Nice. The location is ideal, offering easy access to both beautiful towns while still providing a peaceful retreat.

The hotel itself is charming and well-maintained. The highlight for me was the stunning pool area, which provided a perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. The service was fantastic as well; the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and comfortable.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay. I will definitely be coming back again
