A nice stay. Loved the smart tv, easy to stream movies and view free movies (includes some of the newest movies). Beware the adult content is easily viewable so if you have kids… It also had a helpful Home Screen detailing; cleaning days, things around the area and navigating the previously mentioned streaming options. Like other reviews, it is in a quieter tucked away area. About a 5-15 minute walk to nearby train stations and convenience stores. But next to the river which is a lovely walk in the afternoon.

Something we didn’t really check but the space was on the smaller end. You will struggle for leg room if you have more then 2 people (there might be other room options). You can fit suitcases under the bed but outside of that you just have a direct path between the door and the bed.

Only other problem was the bedding. It wasn’t amazing, pillows weren’t the best and the mattress was on the thinner side.

Overall for what we paid we are satisfied and enjoyed our stay!

Short 10 minutes away from the main TCAT station in Nihombashi. Plenty of train stations around to take you directly to main cities such as Shibuya, Akihabara, Shinjuko. Only slight I can say is that the nearest convenient store is a Family Mart that is about a 5 minute walk. Great place to stay.

Small things if I’m nitpicking, the restaurant didn’t have many options although when I did eat there it was very nice.

Not very sustainable in terms of a massive amount of amenities provided every day, although this is presumably an APA thing in general and not just the hotel.

Again, I had a great stay. I was there for almost 3 weeks and was very comfortable and had no issues getting around Tokyo easily.

We had the most traumatic and horrific experience with this hotel from the moment we checked in. We checked in at 3:00pm on the 27th July of which we entered our rooms. Upon entering our rooms, we were faced with an extremely strong and overwhelmingly unpleasant odour. We decided to leave the room windows open to air out, and left the hotel for a few hours.

Sadly, upon our return back to our rooms at approximately 9:30pm, it was extremely evident that the foul smell in both rooms had not gone. From our concern, we checked both rooms and to our disturbing discovery, we found mold in both rooms, the aircon vents and throughout the corridor of level 3. Please see the photos attached to this email for reference. We were extremely appalled that for a hotel that is branded as “simplified luxury” and “high quality” would leave their hotel in such a disgusting state, and have no consideration for their guests in this matter.

Unfortunately, the night of horror didn’t end there. We went to reception and asked to be moved

MOULD INFESTED. We had 2 rooms at this hotel and both rooms had an incredibly strong musky smell of mould. We found mould in both rooms and throughout the corridors. We took photos and showed the staff but they had no care of the matter. We left straight away. Do not stay!!

Good/bad location.

Pretty good location overlooking the Sumida River. (And only about 100 feet from a fun dog park.) Unfortunately, it also overlooks a busy expressway. Solved that problem by wearing earplugs and moving my head away from the window when I slept. Some decent dining options, but that part of Nihonbashi goes relatively dead at night. Toei Metro station nearby.

I liked that they inquired as to when I was coming in, since I was still in Kyoto at the time. After having came from Kyoto and grabbing a cab from the Shinkasen station, it was just a matter of checking in for the room.

Being on the fifth floor, the room was spacious enough for me (165cm) and it was nice to have a shower/toilet in the same room for a change. And a fridge which is the best part! And a TV, with limited channels. The Internet was okay but pretty slow.

Staying for six days, they *DO* a room cleaning every third night, even if you don't want a room servicing (hygeine). Considering that the bins might fill up with bottles and takeaway containers, that is understandable.

They do give you a robe, fresh towels and small amenity cup which I think I didn't use for the most part. :o Think they do that every couple of days?

I didn't originally planned for staying here (hostel/capsule budget!) but my travel plans changed and thus decided to go for it. If the other APA hotels are like this, I will look into using them as well. As a solo traveler, and being flexible enough to sort their budget and age consideration, I would say it's well worth a look into staying just for the comfort alone

The area was a nice, quiet, residential area, which was close to train stations. Not as many dining options, but provided a nice ambience on the way back to the hotel after a long day. The hotel was easy to find and it was walkable to the stations, the staff were lovely and helped me when needed.

This was my only option with short time. That being said closest metro is relatevly far, about 15 min walk, so consider this if you are walking with big suitcases. The staff was avarage, I was able to charge the room bill in two credit cards in all the hotels I’ve stayed in Japan except here, I think the front desk we just Lazy. The hotel is in good shape and bathrooms were the smallest I’ve seen in Japan. It’s not really a place for turist, more business Japanese people. It’s located far from any turístic places and the surrounding is residencial/business.

The staff are very friendly and will work through the language barrier if you do not speak Japanese. The location is very quite and is situated right next to the riverfront. The riverfront has walkways all along the water if you want to go for a nice run or walk. There are multiple train stations just a short walk away and a bus stop maybe 2 minutes from the hotel. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. A lot of them sound like a failure to plan or use common sense. I will definitely be returning here.

This APA hotel is a bit secluded from the other APA's but its a great neighborhood away from the busyness of the other locations. Unless that is what you want but coming to your room with a nice, quiet walk to wind down after being in Shinjuku, Shibuya or other crowded areas.

It was my first day in Japan. There were two staff members who had assisted to check me in at around 8pm. Before I left to my room I had asked a question on whether I was able to use my Passmo card at the local 7-eleven. The staff member said I could while the trainee staff member called me a bad word under his breath. The place was clean but not too clean. There is also only one washer and dryer so better hope someone else isn’t already using them. I just wish they were more friendly to me is all. The staff member was a trainee and worked the desk at 8pm on February 11th. Hope he can apologize. 😔

The place is cheap, but there is practically not space in the room. The bed took up the entire room. I could hardly pull out the chair from the desk. The room is very dry and woke up feeling exhausted. The station is also far. The area around is very nice though.

The staff were super friendly and English speaking so no confusion on things we asked for. The room itself was a bit small but can’t complain for the price we paid for 5 nights. The nearest train station to get you anywhere in Tokyo is maybe 10 minutes away, if that. The cleanliness was pretty good as well, nothing to complain about there. Overall happy with our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend you stay here. If room size is a big deal then probably not but we were out doing so much the room size didn’t really matter to us.

Staff and property are wonderful! Rooms are small, which is to expect when travalling to Asia I believe, but beds are confortable, bathrooms are great, the only drawback that might affect some is the near, the hotel is right beside an highway. Staff is just to helpful! Note that only speak basic English though, so keep it simple and learn basic Japanese or use Google Translate (makura arimaska). I recommend!

The room was very newly decorated and was spotlessly clean. It's about 7-10 minutes walk from several metro stations. My room was next to a busy road which I didn't hear at all so the window sound-proofing is very good. The mattress was pretty thin and the pillows were thinner still! he room was small but comparable with others I've stayed in in Toyko for a similar price.

In general this is a nice place right on the Sumida river. It is a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle, so you may not feel like you are in the heart of the city, and will need transportation to get to the busy tourist spots (not too far away). My room in particular was a little noisy when the window was open due to the highway bridge outside.

The location is a little bit far from the metro station (Hamacho) in contrary to the name (Hamachoeki). It is not very bad though. Also there are not so many places to eat or drink right near the hotel and you need to walk for around 10 min to get restaurant and bars. Other than that, the hotel is good. Service is good and room is clean. Also you get a pack of replacement towel and amenities when you put \"do not disturb\" card on the room door and not to have room cleaned.

O book this hotel because Hotel.con advertised it with shutter from the airport and breakfast included and for my surprise they had NONE, a complete nightmare from the airport to the hotel by train, NO OBE SPOKE ENGLISH it till me almost 4 hours to get to the hotel and btw to the wrong location hotel, but they manage to transfer my reservation to the one I arrived. This hotel was far from both airports and difficult and expensive to travel around. As I said breakfast wasn’t included so for me was an extra expensed tV was awful no American channels at all only CNN

The room size was reasonable and we were able to keep 2 medium size luggages open during our stay with walking room as well. Very nice hotel and bed. Comfortable room temperature that could be adjusted. The location is okay and did take about 10-14 min walk to the closest subway stations. It was very close (~10min walk) to the Tokyo City Air Terminal for the airport limousine. This was very convenient for when we left for Narita Airport and did not have to haul our heavy luggage very far.

Clean hotel and easy to find. Very helpful staff. I accidentally booked the smoking room and they let us stay in a non smoking room the first night and said we have to switch to a smoking room the next morning which was fine because it was my error. But when i woke up they slipped a note under my door saying there was a cancellation so we can stay in the same non smoking room for another night. Cons were not many food options nearby and 10-15 walk to subway stations.

Our stay at this hotel was average, we had been touring Japan and this was our last stop before heading home. The air conditioning in our room was extremely poor and the receptionists English was very limited, this made trying to get this point across difficult. The hotel was lovely and clean. The rooms are small but i think that is just something that is custom to the Japanese culture. The wifi was very hit and miss with connection within the room. It was also in an ideal location for us to hop on and off the JR with our locations normally only being one or two stops away.

Nice Hotel if you dont mind a little walk

Wifi download speed was really bad when I was there. It is a little far from the stations by walking, but if you want convenience for getting to and fro the airports, this is pretty good via BUS or Train.

Otherwise, APA is fairly consistent.
