I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was below expectations.
The room itself was not clean — there were noticeable issues that made it uncomfortable to stay in. Basic things like proper housekeeping and maintenance were clearly lacking.
Overall, the hotel did not provide the level of comfort or service that I expected for the price I paid.

I would not recommend staying here and will not be returning.

The hotel was right off of the exit, which was quite convenient and next to a gas station. Check-in was fairly easy and the staff was nice. There were a few things that I feel need improvement, all cosmetic: spots on the furniture, the bulky trim that separated the check-in area from the elevator, major tripping hazard, I stumbled on it, the floor of the elevator seems to have been something of like laminate was kind of shifting under your feet. When it comes to the room, we ended up getting switched to a different room. The first suite that we had did not come with the couch in it, just a vacant living room area with a lamp and chai. It’s bathroom needed some work, the tub was rusted and not appealing. They kindly switched us to a different room which was way better and included a couch. I would like to also mention that in both bedrooms, were very clean. I never I got a chance to experience the breakfast so there’s not much I can say on it.

Overall, the experience was good. We had a lovely time. If needed, I would not mind staying there again because it was good for the price.

The staff was very friendly, but the hotel and rooms were in poor condition and dirty. The bath towels were stained and small. I think that for the price of $130 per night, cleanliness should be a priority. I arrived at 2:00 PM, and check-in was at 3:00 PM, and they charged me an extra $20 for checking in at 2:00 PM. I personally do not recommend it. I went with my daughter, and she was on the bed the whole time. She only went down on the floor for two seconds, and I had to bathe her because her clothes and feet were black from the dirt on the floor. As for the breakfast, I have nothing to say because of the lack of hygiene; I didn't dare eat anything there.

We just left the hotel, and I want to leave a review. The check-in process was fine. The receptionist was polite—not overly friendly, but she did her job well. When we got to the first room, we noticed a few issues. The TV remote wasn’t working, and the phone was faulty. We called for help. She responded and was on her way. However, while waiting, there was an issue in the bathroom: the toilet started overflowing. When she arrived, we discovered the toilet overflow was understandable—things happen. But she immediately found us another room, which was appreciated. In the second room, though, it became clear the hotel urgently needs repairs. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, the baseboards were completely detached, held together only by double-sided tape, the bed skirt was ripped, and the bathroom door was broken—like someone had kicked it. Honestly, the room was not in a condition to rent out. It’s crucial that the hotel address these issues before renting these rooms. I’ll be uploading photos. Overall, the reception was fine, but the hotel conditions really need attention. I have pictures

All of the above!! I believe that this property was just recently purchased and they are in the process making things better. They have a LONG way to go. My room was horrible. Bed was uncomfortable. I think they had a total of 3 or 4 guests on the entire property. Me included. Breakfast was AWFUL. Had to go to Bob Evans for breakfast.

The staff is friendly, but the hotel is just disgusting. Thick layers of dust in the room hair around the ground dead worms under the bed. Hard food particles in the bed had to have somebody go in and re-clean our room after we checked in not to mention, they still have signs up from what I assume was Covid stating they are not cleaning the rooms due to the virus, which was five years ago as well as after we booked and paid for our hotel room this hotel was showing up as permanently closed on Google we seen two people the whole entire time we was there. Parking lot was empty.
The bathroom sink was leaking and soaking anything dry in the bathroom the air conditioner/heater had mold inside of it. The filters were absolutely disgusting. My coffee pot had thick layers of dust inside of it. We couldn’t even use it.
Like I said, the staff was friendly and did their best to accommodate us, but this definitely isn’t no vacation stay hotel. It’s definitely a sleep and get out hotel.

No one cleans the room during your stay and you get clean towels from the desk. Renovation is only partly done and the rest of the hotel and rooms are awful. To check in early you pay $20 CASH, which went in the pocket of the desk clerk. Dog poop was on the stairwell landing to the 3rd floor for at least 2 days. The TV in the room, would only change channels going up. The room key took up to 20 swipes to open the room door. The free breakfast was fair.
Positives, the 3 staff members are friendly, sheets were soft and there was 1 washer and dryer to use.
Wait till renovations are done to book here.

The front desk person wasn't overly friendly but seemed nice enough, and the sheets were clean but thats about where the compliments end. The condition of the hotel is pretty bad. Our room had water damage on the wall from a fire sprinkler, the tub spout was coming away from the wall and water trickled all night. The tub looked kinda gross as a result, and possibly uncleanable. The whole thing felt like the previous owner (Choice Hotels) gave up on the property and new owners reopened without addressing any issues. It's the kind of hotel I would expect to pay $60 for, not $160.

The staff was fine but everything else was a terrible experience. We had to change rooms three times. The first room wasn’t cleaned. The second room, the A/C went out, half the electrical outlets didn’t work and the third room was subpar. The beds were uncomfortable. The hallways smelled like mildew, maybe due to the opening in the ceiling tile with a bucket to catch the water dripping from the ceiling. The “continental” breakfast consisted of cold eggs and sausage, cereal with questionable smelling milk, and toast. Our room keys were replaced too many times to count because they stopped working. Will not stay here again.

The check-in experience was my first impression and it was a great one! Sai D. Was very personable and professional. He made me feel at home. Unfortunately, there were some negatives that made me give a low rate. I will talk about the pros and cons.
Pros:
Check-in service was fantastic. The room was clean and smelled good. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The water pressure and new multi-jetstream shower head were fantastic.
Cons:
The phone was disconnected. Perhaps because it was missing half the keys on the device, so it would be pointless to connect it. The faux leather on the chair where one sits to use the desk had about an 8-inch wide peeled off section across the top, from side to side. The rate included breakfast and all there was in the buffet was a bottle of cold milk, cereal, literally 6 slices of bread so one can toast (peanut butter and jelly, but no butter), pastries in their wrapers, the waffle iron was off, and 3 sandwich-sized mini egg omelets with 4 links (in a chafing dish that was not turned on, so they were cold). Breakfast is supposed to start at 6:30am and I assumed someone was late and tgtavthey were still setting up. When I returned an hour late, it was all exactly the same.

Upon booking for the reservation, we asked for early check-in. We arrive no cars in the parking lot. Try to check in. They said none of the rooms are available as they were all rented out the night before and the cleaning lady showed up late and we were told that it would be 30 minute wait and she wanted to try to charge us $20 check-in fee we wait the 30 minutes come back and get access to the room and we check the cleanliness of the room and it was filthy so we requested cleaning supplies and towels, so we could clean our own room. There is no microwave in the room to heat up our food later that evening we noticed someone bathing in the pool on the property totally unacceptable. Back to the check-in. I asked if they had a different room available so we didn’t have to wait being that we requested an early check-in. She said all the rooms were booked because of the concert that evening, which was a total lie there was three cars in the parking lot and no additional cars after the concert nor the next morning it was like a ghost town not sure that I’d recommend this place as it needs a lot of help.

First the air in the room only blew cold air regardless of what you did with the thermostat. The carpets were filthy and trash was on the floors up and down the entire hallway. The room had carpet edging in the closet hanging loose off the wall. There were repairs done to the wall in the bathroom that was not completed. Drywall not painted. They charged 100 deposit for incidentals. I was moved to another room. The closet door was splintered into pieces and again the infamous unfinished dry wall repair on the wall. There was a nice space in the room where the desk was. Problem was there was no chairs, sofa or anywhere to sit. I heard loud voices outside my room. I opened the door and found half naked people pushing each other up and down the hallway on the luggage dolly. There was exposed wiring in the room to one of the outlets. No cover over the outlet which in the state of Florida is a code violation with the Fire Marshall. I first stayed at this hotel. In 2011 and it was an excellent hotel. I stayed there many times through the years. It was bought out by someone and is now a trash heap. It is right across the street from a major truck stop and the people hanging around were not people I would want to socialize with. I canceled my reservation and moved to another hotel. This hotel was charging 200.00 per night and should not have been charging 25.00.

The bed was old and sagging towards the middle. Bedding was substandard.

I usually don’t want to say much but it was disappointing because I could consistently smell marijuana in the hallways, that was the worse. A bit on dirty side and front desk was sub par. No hair dryer available for the one time we needed it and the workers at front desk were nice but it seemed subpar. Only enough towels for one person and for the price I could’ve stayed somewhere much nicer. I hope corporate can make some changes. They had non- customers hanging out in front near gazebo and then coming in for free coffee

Condition of property was very poor. Old should not necessarily mean dirty.
Observed an employee sweeping floor in dining area with broom, then take same broom and sweep crumbs off a table top to floor with the broom. I remained in the dining room for about another 30 min and that table was never washed after dirty broom was used on table.
This was just disgusting!! Should demanded my money back.

I have stayed at this property several times in the past and really like the location. It has always been fine and often very good. This time, while the check-in was very smooth and friendly, I did not have a good experience. The trucks at the truck stop next door were so noisy at all but a few hours, I did not sleep very much and finally gave up at 5:30 am. The room and bathroom were clean enough but needed to be repaired - water damage and rundown fixtures.

Clean quiet and drama free

I stayed here a little over a year ago so when I booked this trip I automatically booked here and didn't look around. I really enjoyed how clean it was and how quiet. I went out several times to smoke a little and every time I was outside at the pool I had it all to myself.

I come to Tampa every now and then to spend time with my family and this hotel will always be my go-to.
