There were bed bugs and smelled of smoke. We had to leave. The front desk person was nice. But that doesn’t help the terrible conditions. No screen on the window, mold under sink and poop on the bathroom wall and the furniture was falling apart. The bed bugs did it we had to get out of there and fast!

Stayed for 3 nights. The pros: the room was clean and location is good. That’s it.

Cons: The bed was absolutely horrible. Only slept a few hrs each night, half the time no one at front desk, breakfast is prepackaged cereal bars and muffins, place is super dated and beat up which reminded me of a truck stop motel, the room smelled like must and cigarettes, you will hear every step above you when someone walks so noisy.

I did enjoy staying here although i think they need to do a little updating on the rooms. The room we were in had a kitchen which the we did not use but we checked it out and one of the drawers were messed up and the refrigerator door was messed up as well and the tub from the foset was leaking. But other than that it wasnt a bad stay over all.

I arrived at the hotel to discover it had been condemned because a previous guest had shot out the water pipes. No one let me know ahead of time that the hotel was unusable. Clearly the circumstance was unusual, but someone should have notified the guests who were coming so we could make other arrangements.

Needs an ice maker on property. during stays for Anthrocon we need to be able to have ice on site already made so we can have cold drinks as we need them instead of waiting hours for ice to be made in the freezers in the room. other than that just small things that were a bit out of place but nothing too terrible for our stay at this hotel.

Some staff members were very rude to us when asking for small requests, the hotel did not have extra towels and blankets and it was not made clear to us where to bring used towels and sheets. Dispite being a hotel with several rooms with kitchens, they were only able to provide us with a single pot and pan and a spatula. So unless you bring or buy your own supplies it will be hard to really use the kitchen. However the price per night is reasonable for the accommodations

It was advertised that they would have items for the kitchen such as plates utensils and cook wear and when we got there there was a sign that you had to go to the desk. we went to the desk and they said they do not give it out due to theft, which is why they keep credit cards on file for incidentals. The whole reason we booked the room we did is so we can cook and not eat out every night. After that we asked for sheets blankets and pillows for the couch bed and we were not given any pillows. we had to spend $60 between pillows and kitchen supplies we expected to be provided. The room was dirty the dishwasher was so dirty it couldn't be used. I would not reccomend anyone to stay here.

This property was clean and well kept on the inside. Staff were extremely pleasant! There was a snowstorm during my stay and the property did not plow the snow until the next midday. Kids were running up and down the hallways all hours of the day. Worst of it all, adults were arguing and fighting in the lobby and the police were called twice during my stay. This alone made me feel very unsafe, therefore I will never stay here again!

This was my first stay at an Extended Stay. I had no idea how bad the quality of the property would be. Holes in the wall and ceiling. I had to take the lid off the toilet tank and fix the toilet 3 times in a 1 night stay. Very loud. People and children running through the halls all night. Breakfast was a joke.

Refrigerator was dirty cooktop was dirty there was more food on the cooktop and in the oven then in the dumpster people were rude maintenance guy had an attitude and tried to slam the door on my dogs face and then slam the door on my husband. Dirty used pads in the parking lot dirty used tampons in the parking lot trash all over the Halls trash all over the parking lots. Door was broken key card wouldn't open it we were told to put a rock in the door when we were taking the dogs out to get back in elevator was broken microwave was a counter microwave that they screwed or bolted to the cabinet. Should have only been charged 40 or $50 a night for the type of hotel that was in the condition that it was in surprise it's still operating

The front desk employees were helpful and friendly. However, the property itself is run-down, in need of updates, and dirty. Our kitchen was missing a cabinet or dishwasher, and the space where it was was unfinished and dusty. Some of the electrical outlets were covered in a thick layer of dust. The bedside table's drawers had stains inside which kind of looked like blood. The hallways had were smelly and loud. The free breakfast was plain instant oatmeal and packaged muffins together with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The price was good, but I wouldn't stay here again

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We cannot believe it’s open and functioning in an area that is nice. The residents aren’t here because they’re on vacation. They’re here because they call this place home. There’s pot smoking and loitering. Hallway vacuumed at 9:30pm. Everything is wrong at this place.

finding a hotel for a weekend where the steelers are home was difficult, this worked as an affordable option as a 2 star hotel. the floor in the room was a little dirty and the bathroom sink did not drain, but we were rarely in the room throughout the weekend so I wouldn’t say it was any glaring red flags, it did the job.

Location and propety were good.
But staff was terrible.
There was no chairs at all. Dining cahir, desk chair.
We asked to bring chairs to our room at the front desk 3 times but they just said 'OK. I will boring them soon.' 'OK. we will bring them later' But it never come until we checked out.
I don't know when is their soon and later.
So, we've spent 6 days without chairs.
My back hurts because I ate by sitting on the bed.
We will never stay this hotel again.

The room with a queen bed and pull out bed. My son a I were the only two guests. The metal brackets on the sofa bed were completely broken off. There was no padding or sheets available for the bed as well. Unfortunately the hotel was full. The front desk said it could be fixed the next day. Seeing we were there only one night, that would not work. We canceled our reservation and left.

The room seemed clean and comfortable enough, but there was a door leading to the outside of the building that was broken, so people were propping it open with a rock. If the door wasn't propped open, you would have to go the whole way around to the front to get in since the keycard scanner on the door didn't work.

Very poor maintenance of the hotel rooms and environment. We stayed in Room#115. AC was leaking water overnight and given its plywood floor, it felt wet all over the room due to the moisture. Sheets looked extremely used and worn out. Bathroom door wouldn't close as it was broken. Shower drain was very stained and looked worn out. It wouldn't give courage to get into the shower. In the hotel corridor, carpet is extremely dusty and full of spots. Ceilings looks spotted as if there was water leaks all over.

I stayed overnight for one night to catch an early flight - the air conditioner did not work. They checked and said she had to put in service for it but no offer wa made for any change of room or anything. I couldn’t sleep most of the night because I was hot.

We stayed here because it is pet friendly and very inexpensive. Staff is marvelous and responded to all our requests. Check in had a problem with the room keya which was resolved immediately. This is a bargain rate hotel so expect that. Bring your own shampoo and even hand soap. Maybe even your own pillows. Good kitchen setup though dated, if you want to cook your own food.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. Noone is ever at the desk, the doorknob was broken from the day we got there. We complained every day, but it was never fixed. The bed was very lumpy, the pullout couch may as well not have had a mattress, and there was nothing in the room, we had to go to the desk and ask for everything. They had no extra pillows, and the blanket was hard like cardboard.

It's a 2 star hotel trying its best. Sure, there are outdated cabinets, but it was clean. The halls and rooms smell musty, but they tried their best to mask it. My door latch was missing from my door, and we didn't have any bedding for our pull out bed, but it was fine. The "free breakfast" was an off brand muffin, which was a little disappointing. It was an affordable option for my family, and it met out expectations.

The room was more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Very spacious, and a full kitchen was an awesome touch. And several members of the staff went out of their way to help me one way or another. It was very appreciated. I stay at a lot of hotels, and that Extended Stay is my favorite in the area.

Lesson learned: Get what you pay for

The suite had a kitchen that was useless….no cookware, drink ware, flatware or silverware. No coffee maker.
This establishment should not be allowed to advertise ‘free breakfast’. No fruit, no juice, no bagels…just individually wrapped granola bars and muffins that must have been bought in bulk several years ago as they were stale.

The place is very dated and needs an update.
Could be cleaned better. My room was clean and good but the hallways were dingy and had a funny smell going on.
However it is a good location if you want to be near the airport! The morning staff was super friendly! They even let us check in very early when got off our plane. They said if your room isn’t available yet they will let people drop off luggage. Overall a decent budget hotel. Nothing fancy. No pool. No breakfast.

I spend half a month in a hotel for business. I've been to so many hotels in cities, but there's no hotel as overpriced as Pittsburgh. It's more expensive than a big city. The staff was so kind when I checked in first. But all illusions are broken when entering the room. I visited my daughter's school with my wife, so I chose a room with two queen beds. However, as soon as I came in after dinner and lay down on the bed, my wife said she couldn't sleep because of the smell of urine, so when I opened the sheet, it was clear that someone had peed. It seemed to have been wiped off with chemicals to erase it, but the smell remained the same. It was so late that we only used one bed and our daughter slept on the sofa. When I woke up in the morning, my daughter said her back was itchy, and there was a trace of water from a bug. The hotel smelled of all kinds of food. I've never seen such a terrible hotel in my life.

Arrived at 4:55pm, had to wait 10 minutes for front desk receptionist. At check in our room not ready (check in listed for 3pm). Room ready at 5:25. Room was not what we booked. To be fair we received a decent discount which was kind. however the wait for the wrong room that SHOULD have been ready was very infuriating. As was the massive amount of weed smell upon entering the lobby. Just a bad experience and left bad taste in my mouth. They hurried to clean and get a room ready. Just wasn’t good, especially as room was booked weeks ago. Wont ever stay there again.

Front desk hardly ever had anyone there. Had to wait over 30 minutes to check in. (Understable at first because a child was lost and she was only one working.) Room was beyond dirty. Beer bottle caps in the pull-out bed. Mattress was stained so bad you could see it through the sheets. Walls covered in dirt and sticky stuff. Floors had not been cleaned properly. Huge mess on floor by pullout bed that was sticky and dark in color. Shower didnt work properly. It was overall a waste of money and needs an inspection from the health department. Poorly managed. Will never stay again.

Used this hotel for an easy stay after a concert so we did not spend much time in the hotel and I am thankful for that. The smell of smoke in the hotel hallways and the smell of urine in the bathroom was horrible. Beds were clean and soft. Didn’t try the grab and go breakfast.. I was not impressed with the state of everything. The staff were nice and accommodating. Would not stay again.

The General Propery Manager was helpful. The lack of staff was very surprising. Cleanliness must be improved and a proper cleaning team/service should be on site at all times.

I feel bad for the general manager. He was cleaning rooms, checking in customers, doing the laundry etc... Not acceptable. This establishment cannot continue like this.

I think Corporate needs to really asess this property and its overall management. Unfortunately, i will NEVER EVER stay at this brand of hotel again. I was extremely disappointed.

Absolutely disgusting!!! I want my money back NOW!! I’m so angry. We arrived in around midnight after a long flight to find people waiting in the Lobby for close to an hour. The Lobby was disgusting. When we got to the room and opened up the sofa bed there were cigarette burns, stains all over, no extra pillows or sheets for sofa bed. We went back down to ask receptionist she was no where to be found. The elevator was disgusting. The hallways were gross. I want my money back NOW!

This hotel was filthy. Our room was visibly and disgustingly dirty and smelled bad, which we believe was due to the piles of trash that had not been taken out in the nearby stairwell. When we told the front desk, we were only offered Fabreze. We did not feel comfortable staying there and drove 4 1/2 hours home in the middle of the night after the Taylor Swift concert rather than sleep in that filthy room. Now we are trying to get a refund.

I was very pleased with my experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were great. You will have a small kitchen in your room which I find convenient if you stay long. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, Walmart included.
Breakfast is basically just coffee and a muffin, so don't put much hopes on that, but coffee was OK.

The worst, this hotel should be shut down honestly. I wouldn’t stay there and didn’t stay with how nasty it was. The hall way smelled like cat urine so strong it almost made my 4 year old puke. The hallway on our floor was so dark and musty looking. Our walls in our room were filthy. I wouldn’t stay if it was given to me for free. If you have any self respect for yourself do not stay here I regret booking this hotel. It needs to be shut down

I would NOT recommend booking this. This was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. The floor had not been cleaned, our socks and feet were black from walking on it. The kitchen area had food on the walls, grease all over the stove and microwave. The bathroom was old but also looked dirty.

The shower had almost no water pressure. The beds were extremely hard.

The service was terrible. There was never anyone at the front desk, day or night. We had to call from a lobby phone and wait for them to come out. Our toilet stopped flushing so we asked someone to take a look and no one did. Fortunately one person in our group was able to fix it because no one ever followed up with us.

We also asked for more towels in our room and were told they would drop some off for us while we were out. They didn’t, so we asked about it and we’re told we were given incorrect info and we had to bring them down ourselves. Which is fine if that is the rule, but they should have told us when we asked.

The front door was wide open at all hours. There was a key scanner at the door that could be used to get into the building when there was no one at the front desk or at night, but the door was propped open the entire time we were there, even at 2am and 4am. With no one at the desk anyone could walk in.

The stairwells were full of garbage. It looked like people would take the garbage out of their rooms and pile it up in the stairwell and it was rarely cleaned up. It smelled terrible an

Great place to stay

Great staff and comfortable suite. I was forced to stay in Pittsburgh due to medical issues with my husband. After four different hotels this was the last one I stayed in. It is now the only one I will stay in. We recently had to travel back and I booked here once again. The staff remembered me and my situation also. Friendly and close to everything. On site laundry was a great saving grace for me also. I recommended a friend to this hotel due to an extended stay she needed as well. She booked and was just as happy with her stay as well. Highly recommend for the price, it is comparable if not cheaper than a regular room but much more comfortable to stay in as it has all the amenities needed. Thank you !

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They were the best part of my stay. Especially Tericka! She was so funny and warm. I will Definitely recommend Extednded Stay America Pittsburgh Airport location to my friends and family.
