I booked for one night stay and from unforeseen events had to stay a second night. Upon entering the building there was a strong perfumey odor, pleasant, but a little strong which I questioned to my self, what are they hiding. I was pleased to find nothing but good. Second night was pretty much the same but the room was on second floor and hinted of stale smoke. Not strong but to some it could be. I would stay again !

Room was clean. Sheets don’t fit the mattress great but they were clean. Check in was easy and they were friendly. There was a puddle in the hallway with no bucket to collect the dripping from the ceiling nor was there a “caution wet floor sign”. Body wash bottle was hanging off the shower wall. It needs fixed before water gets in the wall and causes water damage and mold. Heat took a while to warm up the room, but it worked. Air filters were clean. Breakfast was skimpy. I got the last of the waffle batter and had to tilt the canister to get enough out to make 3/4 of a waffle. There was no butter. There were two types of cereal and milk, juice, coffee, and 3 granola bars. But that’s it. No fruit. No muffins. No bread to toast. Someone spilled syrup all over the floor. The lady who spilled it tried to clean it up, barely. A staff member should have been monitoring the breakfast area and was not!

This was a typical stay with the family. Untill the following morning before check-out. I was exiting the shower and the bathroom to finish get ready to check out. Once I entered the room I turned on the lamp on the desk and noticed on the lamp shade there was a small clear bag with the top and side cuts dangling the shade. Manager was notified and laughed in my face. Then I said I would like to make a police report. He laughed and called the cops the officer arrived and had clarified that the bag was used for drugs but was empty. This was a best of a terrible situation. I have a seven year old if that bag was full and she got ahold of it she could of died or had to be hospitalized. This just proves the house keeping did not clean very well or even pay attention to detail. Very unhappy with the experience that morning. I asked for a refund for the night stay and the manager laughed again and said why. So we left the hotel.

Eh, passable for a roof over your head. Mattresses were ok, pillows sucked, sheets had stains. Blanket was pretty thin, and upon request for an additional blanket was denied- told none are available. Same with towels- told none are available. Room was never made up or anything; only 3 towels replaced per day. Paint was bubbling off walls and stained (looked like water leaks). Coat hook and soap dispenser were pulling out of the wall hanging halfway. Gross swamp thing sized hair monster visible in the shower drain. Didn’t spend any time there besides sleeping- selected solely because of price and location. Will probably spend a few extra bucks next time in Cranberry to stay somewhere cleaner to keep family happier.

This hotel is appropriately priced. I wasn't looking for the highest end spot - I got 2 nights for $160 out the door, it's dirt cheap. Certainly not the spotless high-end hotel in town, but if your focus is value overall, it's kinda hard to beat.

Checked in late, gentleman at front desk was friendly. Went to my room and I was surprised to see the bed was like 80% made and the skirt was on the chair in the corner. I had to look around to make sure it wasn't someone else's room... No problem, things happen. Notified front desk and was immediately assigned another room. Had a good nights sleep and a nice shower.

When I was getting ready to leave, the elevator was broken or in an error state, not a huge issue but i was on the third floor and it could be for some. Tried to grab some breakfast and OJ was empty, coffee machine was broken. Basically fruit loops, a self cook waffle, and basic fruit were all the options.

Overall, place smelled \"different\", strange vibe, but pretty cheap and it worked.

I don’t expect luxurious accommodations at a budget hotel, but I do expect the room to be clean and quiet. Unfortunately, this hotel smelled like stale smoke and the carpet was very worn and dirty. During my stay, there was an incredibly loud party with music and constant yelling until almost 3AM. At one point, someone was pounding on doors and even tried to open my door. It did not feel safe and it certainly was not restful.

Staffing was extremely disrespectful, had an awful smell and just seemed extremely scratchy the whole time. I ended up leaving and getting a refund within my first 10 minutes of being there.. after being checked in, requested another $40 from me. Making me $62 stay $102. Ended up going across the street to Clarion Inn, great prices, get staff and amazing breakfast. I will NEVER stay at this Super 8 ever again.

You get what you pay for

Horrible breakfast options and coffee machine broken-had to wait half hour for staff to bring in a box of coffee from off site. Fruit Loops and Frosted Flakes the only cereals offered. A low sugar option like cheerios would be smart. No pastries, no bread. All that was offered was waffles and granola bars, apples and bananas. Up hallway had bad smell as did room. AC/heat unit not functioning well. This place has gone downhill since we first started staying here 20+ years ago. Not sure if we will risk staying again even if it was just for one night. The only plus is there is a good restaurant within walking distance.

Was rejected when a reservation was made and money was pulled. Staff was rude and not accommodating. They do not care for their guests. It is who will pay the most money and bid against each other for the cheapest rooms. They've done nothing to help with the smells outside nor inside of their hotel. The linens on previous stay were stained and covered in what can only be suspected as urine stains and staff clearly does not care about the guests because if staff did this would not have occurred. If you want a better hotel go to the Clarion Inn or the Comfort Inn.

It was horrible. There was 5-6 people outside main entrance smoking that I had to walk through to get to front desk. Only reason smoking is an issue is my asthma. I asked for a non smoking room. I got a room that totally smelled like some smoked in there a lot. I didn't even stay. I went to another hotel so I had to pay again at another place. I know I will never be back there again.

The place was very well maintained. I liked that the room was clean and quiet. I loved that my dog could be with me in this ground level room. Parking was great as we were pulling a trailer. There was a great Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

I did not like the frayed carpet in room 124. I did not like that the rules limit dog size. Well behaved dogs of any size should be allowed.

No refrigerator in room. I asked andcwas told the hotel was full. But parking was less than 25% capacity, & there were no other rooms with fridge available. Odors through out entire public areas. Cigarette smoking at entrance was abundant. Marijuana strong odor by picnic table. Slamming of doors so bad my wall shook woken up repeatedly by this. Preventing a nughts sleep. Property was in bad shape exterior. Room was extremely small. No place to store clothes. No dresser/drawers. Only 2 hooks to hang clothing. No hangers or close space at all. No rack or shelves. Had to put suitcase on floor. & clothes in front of tv. Had to ask fir toilet paper as only 1 used roll in room with no facial tissues. I trash can , 1 gallon size. No place to dispose of used feminine products Breakfast was terrible. Milk for cereal was warm. Only fake processed creamer for coffee. No tea. No pastries. Juice machine was empty.No cups in room. Had to use my habdcto rinse my mouth gen brushing my teeth. No soap dish fir bar soap. Not enough body wash /shampoo for 2 people. No hooks or rods to hang hand towel at sink. Place was for druggies. NOT for families. If I hadnt driven over 600 miles I would have left & stayed at another facility. Especially after not having a fridge in room & no place to put my clothing. Hallways, entrance way, exterior were unkept , rundown & dirty. Discription of property is not accurate at all. Prooerty is not walkable. No sidewalks at all.

HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY! Elevator was broken so we had to take the stairs to the top door. Our first room smelled like bleach & had an “odor blocker” machine in it. This is the worst super8 property, I ever stayed at. I was asked if I would mind a room without a tv, microwave, and a refrigerator. Then a room that the door was easy to close from the inside but, hard from the outside the room. I wouldn't recommend this hotel,for even for a dog hotel. For around $100 a night, its a rip off.

My recent stay at this property was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was given a room where the door wouldn’t lock at all with the key card. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, I was moved to another room but even then, I wasn’t given a functioning key card. Every time I needed to enter my room, I had to ask the staff to open it for me, which was incredibly inconvenient and unacceptable.

The condition of the room was far below expectations. There was no refrigerator or microwave, despite these being listed on the website. When I asked about it, I was told the hotel is under new management, but that doesn’t excuse not informing guests ahead of time or updating the advertised amenities.

To make matters worse, the smell of smoke was present throughout the property, including the hallways, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. I also noticed visible mold on the windows, which is a serious health and cleanliness concern.

Overall, the experience did not align with what was promised, and I would not recommend staying here.

It was an easy check in, and the lady was nice. When we got into our room, it had a musty smell to it. There were spots of mold on the walls above the shower, and the fan in the bathroom was sooooo loud! The beds were very comfortable, so I was very thankful for that! My friend was going to go outside to smoke, and our room door wouldn’t lock behind him. It would only lock if I locked it from inside. I went to the desk to report it. She came to the door and hooked a machine to it, and of course it didn’t do anything. She asked if it locks from inside. I said yes. She’s like ok you’re fine then. I replied no we aren’t because we are leaving our room for a few hours, and there is no way to lock it while we are gone. She apologizes and tells me they are fully booked and can’t change us rooms, but said they have cameras. So we had to leave our room unlocked while we left for a few hours. Thankfully nothing was stolen while we were out.

Stay here only if there is a deep price discount..

If you are travelling to visit Pittsburgh, PA you are better off staying somewhere else close to the city.

Pro:
1) Hotel was clean.
2) Right next to good shopping and food (McD, Arbys, Walmart, Costco, Gas Station etc.) all within a short distance.

Cons:
1) Breakfast was cold or On-the-GO type. Items were terrible with absolutely no good options to choose from.
2) Service was the worst - No one at the reception desk at anytime, staffs not knowledgeable about the local area regarding places of interest or tourism. Some of them were not even able to talk in English.
3) TV - not enough channels to choose from.

It was definitely not worth the money. Just for another few more dollars you could find better options with good hot food.

Issue which could of lead to a serious issue…

We were assigned to a room which was already occupied (room 221) so when we went to the room for the first time there was another traveler already in the room. Have informed the personnel at the front desk and they’ve given us an excuse that they thought they’ve assigned the room next door so they kept on telling us that “it’s a connecting room”… (room 219 but the holder with the key was written with room 221)
Doesn’t change the fact that they’ve assigned a room which was already assigned.
The person who was assigned to the room before us had the clothing on but if could have been a serious issue if they weren’t.

I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me. This place is absolutely disgusting. The front door was missing, the lobby felt unsafe, and some random guy just sat there staring at me the whole time. That should have been my first clue to run.

Then I got to my room… and wow. Dirty. Dingy. Filthy. I made the mistake of looking behind the hairdryer, and I regret it. I don’t even know what was back there, but I wish I could erase it from my memory.

The walls are paper-thin, so be prepared to hear everything—sneezing, talking, walking, and yes, even people using the bathroom. It felt like I had a bunch of unwanted roommates.

Their so-called “continental breakfast” is a joke. It’s nothing but a sad grab-and-go snack, but they advertise it like it’s an actual meal. Total scam.

I tried to cancel and get a refund, but of course, they refused. I still left because no amount of money saved is worth staying in this dump. I found a much better hotel and never looked back.

I know they have their family writing fake positive reviews, but I’ll be posting the truth. This place is disgusting and should be shut down. Stay far, far away!

Breakfast was only fruit loops, Frosted Flakes, Granola bars and apple juice. The tub looked like there was sauce spilled in the tub but not cleaned very well. Only gave us one key. Room was so small.

The room was filthy. Was supposed to be a non-smoking room but had an overwhelming smell of smoke. They promoted as having breakfast but all it was was cereal, cheap granola bars, and a bowl of old apples. Will never stay at this hotel again.
