The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, something for every taste. The swimming pool was sparkling and heated, although we didn't swim. The restaurant on premises was delightful and had a good choice of meals. I would stay there again.

An absolute gem tucked away from the businesses of Nafplio but close enough to get to all the shopping and restaurants. Only 5 minutes by car. A car is recommended! All the staff was so very pleasant and was on hand in a moments notice! Will definitely be back.

Things to know before booking

The room doesn’t look like the photo on the website. We had a double room and the room was very small, the worst is the washroom, super tiny and water splash everywhere. It’s impossible to shower without water running out of the shower. No black out curtain in the bedroom! However, the lady at Check in was nice.

Lovely apartments, lovely people and great stay

Really lovely place, very good condition, all the staff are lovely and really helpful, especially Thalia who gave us a lovely welcome and was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Our room was really nice with a nice bathroom and a really nice big balcony. Bed very comfortable and a fridge which was handy aswell.
Lovely pool and poolside area. We had lunch a few times and the food was really nice.
About a 15-20 minute walk in to town or a 5 minute taxi which cost 5 euros. Town is beautiful, lovely port area, lovely restaurants and bars and lots of history with the forts which I would recommend visiting. All the people we came across were friendly, helpful and happy.
Would definitely recommend the hotel/apartments and would have no hesitation in coming back, didn't want to go home.

One of my favorite stays in Greece by far! The staff, Dimitris, Alexandra, Veleni, were incredibly kind caring and enthusiastic people. We felt so cared for and welcomed. The dinner on site was some of the best food I’ve had in all of Greece. I can’t say enough how wonderful our experience was. Thank you soo much. Truly.

Located off the main road that goes to the castle. The road is a narrow turn off and goes down to the hotel. First I thought the GPS sent me down a goat path, but I saw signs for the hotel. Clean, modern,huge rooms.Multi level. No elevator. Pool. Parking. EV charger. Breakfast available for fee. Laundry service available. Friendly staff. Great view. Quiet night. Close to town. Need car.

Was not able to visit the property as my ID got stolen during my trip.

What I'm not happy about is that I contacted the property just few hours after the cancellation deadline (it's 7 days before the first day of the stay) and they decided that they will forfeit the money spent on the entire booking (not just the days that falls within the 7-day cancellation window) with absolutely no intention for negotiation.

I feel this is unfair and I won't recommend the place given the business practice.

It was a unique villa just on the edge of town but in the middle of a beautiful olive grove setting. The unit itself was clean, modern and well appointed. Unfortunately we were there in off season so couldn't take advantage of the pool but the entire party agreed that we would return in a heartbeat. Easy check in. The staff was very helpful throughout. Highly recommended

Beautiful hotel, small property a bit \"tucked-in\"

Boutique property, rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Day staff very polite, night staff nice but a bit \"tired\". Great choice if you need to decompress, but far from port and restaurants, and not much on-site. You will need a vehicle. Parking was shaded (which is important during the day to avoid the heat) but it was very \"tight\". It's pricey comparatively to other hotels.

The rooms were comfortable, large, and had great amenities. The location is close to the city, yet quiet. And the staff did a great job of giving recommendations about things to see and do throughout the Peloponnese - I had read up on restaurants beforehand, but the staff’s recommendations were much better than what I had found online! I’d love to stay here again the next time I core to Nafplio.

A new boutique hotel a short walk above the town. Rooms very conformably appointed. Plenty of power points which is important these days with phones ipads cameras etc. A large private terrace so could enjoy being outside even in the rain. Service was excellent helpful and friendly without being over familiar. We dinned both nights next to the pool. Food was good and inventive and a pleasant change from usual taverna menus or over priced over cooked fish restaurants. Only comment is please setve main courses on pre-heated plates.
Definitely would stay here again...

Great hotel about 10 min from the center of Napflios. It is on the hill, but has a lovely pool and restaurant area with amazing food. The staff is super friendly and the wifi works well everywhere. The rooms are lean and modern and have a balcony with a table and chairs to sit outside on. It was the perfect spot to stay after touring Mycenae and Mystras. The pool was wonderful.

Our 2 nights stay was just perfect. The rooms are very clean and we had a huge balcony as well. The staff was extremely friendly. Due to the low number of rooms we were recognized all the time and never had to mention our room number/name. The pool area is very nice and always spotless clean. But the very best was the food - just amazing!!! With the start of the breakfast - through the all-day snacks but finally with the dinner. Every dish was created with so much love and was just amazing. Actually we wanted to stay a night longer but they were fully booked at that day unfortunately.

A beautiful, property, huge rooms with kitchenette & balcony. New & very well built & stunningly decorated. Nice pool. Fantastic breakfast, but make sure you have dinner as the chef (owner's son) produces spectacular cuisine. Unfortunately he may be leaving to a high end greek restaurant in London. Thank you Sofia for a lovely stay and your hospitality!

Beautiful hotel located about 5 minute drive from the town or a 10 minute drive to the beach. Clean, quiet, family friendly. This is a family owned property and their pride in hospitality shows. In addition to the included breakfast, you can also get lunch and dinner from the hotel kitchen. Honestly, our meals here were some of our favorites while in Nafplio. We stayed in the family quad suite which was perfect for our family of four. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The pool area was serene and beautiful. My daughter spent each afternoon playing in the pool

We had the most fantastic stay at the Anthemion! On our first night we arrived at 10.30pm after a long day travelling and we were greeted with amazing hospitality and the offer of a delicious restaurant meal. The food was excellent - definitely choose to add the breakfast to your reservation and make sure you enjoy some cocktails by the pool during your stay too! The walk into the old town down the hill takes around 20 mins and a taxi home costs 5 euros. All staff were kind and wonderful and we will definitely return at some time in the future for another blissful stay! Many thanks, gem and oli. X

Beautiful accommodations and surroundings...

Very warm welcome and gorgeous surroundings...just as it was advertised with the photos. Parking is easy; the walk into town to the port area is 25-30 minutes, but an easy walk down - we took a taxi home after a long and late dinner. The rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated; our balcony was large and also well-furnished - the perfect place to have a drink at the end of the day and relax with friends or family. We would definitely stay in future.

Lovely house with canopy bed and a loft. Loft is great for kids but a bit of a discomfort for my teenagers. Very new and clean and great breakfast. A bit of a climb up from the main town, narrow road. But overall still a totally excellent stay in Napflio.

Perfect Little Gem

A small hotel nestled among orange trees but just minutes from town center and the sparkling sea. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found this lovely hotel. Our two-bedroom suite comes with two full bathrooms, an open kitchen with full amenities, comfortable lounging space, a big outdoor terrace with hot tub and table for six. Because we were there during the low season, our breakfast was a surprise and a delight, personal, abundant and delicious, everything freshly made. On top of the usuals, there were daily treats, a variety of cut fruits, pies, traditional Greek cakes, X'mas cookies too. We call it a breakfast feast with something new everyday.

The location is convenient for restaurants and exploring Nafplio old town, the stunning Palamidi Fortress and the seaside walks. It's good place to stay because a short drive away are Mycenae, Epidaurus, Corinth with their treasure trove of antiquities, not to mention beautiful beaches and museums.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. It is close to town center, but offers peaceful surroundings. There is a lovely terrace and pool area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was tastefully decorated and immaculate. Would return in a heartbeat. A great place to stay while visiting beautiful Nafplio.

Best hotel on the Peloponesian peninsula

If you decide to stay in another hotel in or near Nafplio, and there are several hotels that are at least very, very nice, I think you will miss the opportunity for a truly outstanding holiday which Anthemion Guest House can give you. All its aspects — staff, rooms, food, ambience, and location — are superb.

We highly recommend this beautiful place for a stay in Nafplio. Every room is special and from the upper ones you have a great view of the area around. Great pool with extremely comfortable sunbeds. Comfy bed, which is quite important from my point of view (not that hard as in other hotels). All the stuff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious, every day they offered other home made things, cut into small pieces, so that you can try everything.
An in-house restaurant is available, in walking distance you can find also some really good local restaurants. Furthermore it is possible to walk to the old town (about 30 minutes).
We were so sad to leave this place, but definitely want to come back

Nos visitó en la habitación un huésped muy cariñoso, un gatito gris que rondaba por el hotel. La única pega, es finales de marzo, tomamos algo en la zona del bar y una cantidad exagerada de mosquitos!!
