Nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, 2. 5km from Borca di Cadore and 16km from Cortina D'Ampezzo, the 3-star Corte Residence offers tranquility at the foot of Mount Antelao.

This complex comprises 45 one and two-room apartments immersed in nature. One-room apartments (2-3 guests) feature a kitchenette, lounge with a double bed, and the option of an extra bed.

Two-room apartments (2-5 guests) include a kitchenette, lounge with two single beds, and a double bedroom. All apartments have a telephone, TV, private bathroom, hairdryer, microwave, and kitchenware.

Some apartments with balconies are available upon request. Guests enjoy special rates at the Corte Spa, just 200 meters away, featuring wellness and fitness facilities.


With a stay at Residence Corte Grimani, you'll be centrally located in Venice, steps from Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo and Negozio Olivetti. This residence is within close proximity of Museo Correr and Chiesa di San Moisè.

Room was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The directions on how to find the hotel were perfect and being able to communicate prior to arriving through whats app was great. Vanessa was so helpful and we appreciated the help with reccomendations for dinner, gelato and help booking a water taxi! The water taxi was a great way to get from the hotel back to the train station.

Great location, very quiet and clean. Apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated and furnished. They provided everything we needed, silverware, coffee, pots and cups. Bathrooms have all the necessary toiletry and the showers have a great flow. Building has elevator and the room has amazing air conditioning. Beautiful view of the canal. Staff are very friendly and helpful, gave us a lot of great tips and advice. We will definitely come back!

Vanessa is the best host we’ve ever had, hands down! The apartment was perfect in every way, we even had a view of the canal and gondolas. Location was perfect; 1 beautiful romantic bridge away from Piazza San Marco. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, book it.

The beds were the most uncomfortable part of our stay, unfortunately. The room itself was spacious and comfortable for 3 people. However the beds affected our stay a lot, along with the noise. We could hear the people above us. I do have to give thanks to the front desk for being patient with my friend who made a mistake while intoxicated.

We could not ask for better location in Venice, and the rooms for our family of 5 were very big. Staff was great. Water taxi will also take you right to the front door from the airport or train station. I would absolutely stay at Corte Grimani again.

Hosts were great pre- arrival and on arrival.
We had an ant infestation to the point where they were even in our beds!! The hosts initially tried to blame us for leaving crumbs and sugar around and also for not having the sheet turned on the first day after we arrived. (even though we didn’t use appartment for eating)

They did quickly come and clean, however there were still ants (not as many) the next couple of days.

Have bites all over my legs and body, as do my kids!

Didn’t even offer any reimbursement considering how much the property costs, wouldn’t expect this at all.

Happy to remove the review if reimbursement is given.

Loved our 2 night stay at this beautiful Residence. Right off the canal and within a 2 minute walk to St. Mark’s Square, this residence offered my family of five a beautiful, clean and air conditioned apartment in a perfect location. We couldn't have asked for a better arrangement. The owner also reached out to us with excellent directions prior to our arrival. My only grievance is that using the laundry machine costs 50 euros. Otherwise, it was perfect. Will recommend to everyone I know heading to Venice.

This property is a true gem. Our apartment looked over a canal with gondolas passing by regularly... gorgeous!!
The location was top notch. Grazie (our host) was super helpful and made our check in and check out very easy. She even recommended a few great restaurants that we tried and loved. The place was air conditioned (a huge bonus in July in Venice). I cannot say enough about this property. You have to stay here if given the opportunity!!

This a great hotel! We felt so well taken care of. We were contacted before we arrived to be sure they knew when we were coming and to ask if they could help with transportation from the airport. Vanessa at the front desk is a treasure! She was SO HELPFUL with giving restaurant advice and helping make our stay as easy as possible. She even tracked down my dad's walking stick when he left it on the water taxi! The location of the hotel is convenient to St Mark's Square and a gondola hub, but was quiet at night and felt very safe. Our room included a separate bedroom and kitchenette. Could not recommend this property more-- a gem!

Excellent location in the middle of Venice - easy access to both St Marks Square and Rialto. Host Vanessa was very helpful, with whatsapp messages before we arrived and a ton of helpful suggestions. One point of clarification: the apartment DOES have room for four (one double bed in the bedroom, a double sofa bed in the main room) and that was perfectly comfortable for the four of us. I'm not quite sure how you'd sleep six but maybe they have extra beds for that. Also an in-room washer/dryer which you have to pay for but we used it to good effect in the middle of a tour that included Croatia, Italy and Greece. Warmly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised that this room was actually a 2 bathroom apartment! Vanessa and the other woman who greeted us (cannot remember her name) were so friendly and helpful. The room and location were fabulous, and it was just a short walk to/from the vaporetto. For an extra fee there was a washer/dryer available in the room which was very handy during our stay. The room was in an excellent location near the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square. We absolutely loved our stay in Venice at the Residence Corte Grimani!

Centrally located hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Vanessa and team were very responsive to our needs even prior to our stay.
One recommendation for the hotel is to change the tub-shower door/barrier as they only have the 1/3 screen barrier. If one isn’t super careful when showering, water ends up all over the floor. I know this is common in Europe but it seems like a lot of hotels are getting away from this type of shower configuration and setting up fully enclosed shower stalls. And for those choosing this hotel because they have a clothes washing machine, be warned there is a 50 euro charge to use it. Luckily we weren’t planning or counting on using it. Otherwise, it’s a great choice if you want to stay close to the big sites in Venice!

FYI, if you need to catch an early flight out of Venice, it’s a 160 euro water taxi ride from hotel to Airport. We had a 3:30am taxi pick up scheduled in order to catch our 6am flight. Something else to consider if you’re looking to stay in this hotel.

What a perfect place to stay and in Venice. Windows look over a small inner canal! So picturesque! The staff were helpful with any directions we needed and everything was so close. Yet it was off the tourist path. The rooms were lovely and all the amenities of home including laundry. It was in fact a huge apartment, even 2 bathrooms. My only complaint was that the bed was a bit hard.

This place is AMAZING! Great location, great rooms, we booked the large room with 1 bed, 1 bath on one side of the room separated by an internal door from the other bedroom, kitchen and bath. Great Stay at Residence Corte Grimani

My daughter and her 3 friends had a great time at the Residence Corte Grimani. It has a great location, right in the centre of things.

A special shout out to Vanessa who is absolutely brilliant. She was super helpful and friendly with great recommendations!

One slight issue (and nothing to do with the Hotel - this is a Hotels.com issue). The booking clearly states that the price paid to Hotels.com included all taxes and fees (excluding €12) but when they got to the Hotel they had to pay €8 each in city tax - so it was €20 more than advertised. Amazing location and amenities

Very convenient location between San Marco and Rialto! The apartments were spacious and quiet, and had a laundry machine and coffee maker. Highly recommend staying here as a first time visitor.

This property was amazing. Location, location, location. 5 minute walk to Rialto Bridge, 5 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. Restaurants and shopping all around you as well as a grocery store. What a charming stay! We had such a wonderful experience at Residence Corte Grimani. Immaculately clean, well-appointed, amazing location. Take the opportunity to go to the market for groceries (3 min away) so you can have breakfast overlooking the busy canal!

Perfect.

Lovely view from the room, huge place, had a kitchen, had a lift, the staff were amazing so friendly spoke English. The location is great about a 2 minute walk to the main square, 5 min from ferry drop off, lots of restaurants… we honestly did not want to leave this place. Could of stayed our whole time in italy here. Highly recommend. Make sure you get a canal view room nothing better than drinking wine watching the boats go by.

Overall pros: the place is very clean and in a great location near the square and most tourist attractions. It is in a password locked building, which is nice. The host will be sure to map out main tourist attractions for you - also very helpful.

Cons: two of the beds are pull-out sofa type beds that are not the most comfortable for your back. The apartment itself is a little bit older. The washing machine door was broken and we had to leave without being able to take our load out. Host offered to mail back to us but charging us for the shipping cost - though again, the washing machine door was broken... overall, you are paying for the location and safety of the building.

It is a great apartment with the view of the canal, just 2 min away from San Marco square and 4 min walking to Rialto bridge. Walkable to many attractions and close to the water bus. There is a supermarket Coop nearby, we used it only to buy drinks, but if you choose to cook you can buy groceries there, the apartment has a kitchen, utensils, pots too. AC works great, beds are very comfortable and it is very quiet during night for sleeping. Wifi works great too. It is very clean, it has a laundry machine with complimentary detergents. Vanessa is very responsive, always answered our texts in timely manner. We had the tour booked for 2.30 pm on the day of checking in and planned to just leave the suitcases but they put us in the apartment earlier than checking time, around 12 noon so we had time to refresh for the tour. Vanessa greeted us with a thorough explanation of the city, map of the city to get around, pointers on what is traditional Venetian food and types of restaurants. There is Nespresso machine and coffee pods. It was a nice touch that they left some cold water in the fridge for our arrival. The building has an elevator so that was a huge plus. Overall it was excellent stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Roomy apartment close to St. Mark's square! We stayed in a larger one with a pullout sofa bed (not amazing comfort but roomy and fine for a few nights) with our kids in separate twin beds in the bedroom. Hard to find properties that will accommodate a family of 4 without booking 2 rooms. This had 2 bathrooms also! Not a fancy, elegant, romantic type place but we'd totally stay there again. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful (and English speaking). Location is key, maybe 5 minute walk from the vaporetto stop at Rialto and 5 to St. Mark's. Very clean. Kitchenette and laundry also! Very homey. We wanted to be away from crowded, American-esque cookie cutter hotels and this was perfect.

An apartment within a 3 minute walk to St Marks! Right on a canal with a stop for a water taxi right outside the door. Easy 6min walk from Rialto or St Marks vaporeto stops. Fully stocked kitchen, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. Elevator building beautifully maintained. Staff is great, very accommodating and helpful… fantastic place to stay in the heart of Venice !

A fantastic location and we loved the suite with a great view of the canals! I hope the recent flooding didn't cause too much damage and I hope they're up and running again!

All the staff at the front desk was very helpful and the hotel is only a short (5min) walk to the grand canal and the water \"bus\" there. I was shocked at how good the water pressure was and you could get the shower nice and hot!

If I am honest, would not have bothered me if that was the expectation Going in, but what Expedia suggested was available at the hotel and what was there where very different, so it caught us by a bit of a surprise. For e.g. there was no air conditioner or self serve laundry etc. It wasn’t bad, but I think the hotel admin and Expedia should sync and correct the info. We would have changed plans / packed differently if we were aware.

Fabulous apartment in amazing location

Wow what a great apartment in a fabulous location. We stayed in the top floor superior apartment which was huge with a sofa bed in the living room and a king bed in the bedroom. There were two bathrooms and we overlooked the adjacent canal. 2 mins walk to St Mark's Square and 5 mins to the Rialto Bridge. Note 50 euros extra cleaning fee if you want to use the stove. Daily service and 24 hour reception.
