Got items stolen by other guests and the receptionist said what do you want me to do???? I found where it was and located the thieves and they still didn’t do anything but tell me they didn’t want the police called. I don’t expect a lot of hotels but this shook me. On nye I’m out here doing Sherlock Holmes to find my item guests stole????? I had to confront them with my friend and they hid it in a panel on their floor behind pipes because I left a message on it saying I’d call the police shortly. Besides the receptionist who went to every floor with me, everyone else lied, when I asked to speak with the manager. His name was printed on the welcome card in the room so I knew they were just sending whoever. There are cameras everywhere and yet you can’t look up who stole by the pool? Let them stay and no repercussion whatsoever . It soured my experience and I couldn’t wait to leave. I’d never say at any of their hotels and stick to a chain you are comfortable with from wherever you are from. Smokers on the floor and going through the vents I was literally choking in my room. Why would guests be allowed to smoke indoors for any reason??? It was such an annoying experience and I’ll NEVER go here.

Good place to stay for a short trip if you’re going to the industrial park located near. This hotel is really near to the companies installed in the Tactica Industrial complex.
The only cons that I have is for the restaurant service that is not available on weekends for lunchs or diners on sundays, so, based on my own experience if you arrive on sunday afternoon to the hotel because you have meetings or visits to any place on monday, be prepared because there is not restaurant service at night in the hotel. Also, I have a recommendation for hotel administration “bring restaurant service for lunch and dinner on weekends” because the guests can stay and relax at the hotel on saturdays and/or sundays with the complement of the swimming pool.

A lovely hotel with good facilities and a very varied and tasty breakfast. Only downfall is really you heed a car. Construction work is taking place near the hotel making a walk that should be easy not so, from Santa Rita station itll take about 15 mins to walk if you weave your way over the busy roundabout and over a fence! Otherwise its about 30 mins walk from the nearest station. Buses drop you quite nearby but still not very well connected in that respect. Brilliant hotel just its location, while i accept in the outskirts of the city, does let it down.

In general my experience is good , bed is double , food is high quality , unique no is going good to me , It is the heating of the bathroom, there was a special light to heat it and it does not work, I asked at reception and they told me to use the air conditioning, but it did not work in the bathroom either

My son and I came to stay for a couple of days of rest and relaxation. We found the hotel to be very tastefully decorated with a very calm and quiet atmosphere.
The restaurant served delicious food and the staff were so lovely and accommodating with our embarrassing lack of basic Spanish skills.
Although situated on the outskirts, there’s a decent shopping centre about 15 minutes walk where you can buy anything you need. We caught a taxi to the beach for around €15 which rounded our trip off very nicely.
We would definitely recommend a visit.

This was a single night stay, with early flight next morning, from Valencia airport. My check in was swift if even I was early. At lunchtime, food options, quite limited from cafe type bar only. Luckily I knew what to expect from Spanish hotels, so brought water and fruit and snacks. Really missed my cup of tea first thing next morning. Why do Spanish hotels rarely have tea/coffee making facilities in their rooms!!

The outer look is ok. But by no means this should be 4 star. Room service does not start till 8.30pm. Rooms are very hot, had to sleep with window open. Shower has lots of grime on walls. Toilets also need major refurbishments. For a 4 start category, there is no tea / coffee facilities in room.

The hardest beds and pillows we have ever experienced, only a sheet for a blanket. There was a comforter in the closet but it had no cover so we did not want to use it. Also, no toiletries not even a bar of soap. The onsite parking was actually street parking and we had to park 1/2 km away - not fun when you have lots of luggage to take with you.
When we checked out, the front desk attendant didn't even ask us if we enjoyed our stay. I guess they don't care.

The room was nice but I booked it for its location to the airport Andrew the fact it had a shuttle. The shuttle operates business hours not Airport hours, so I had to take a taxi at my expense. It's also not located by any restaurants and there isn't any food available until 7 AM.

after visit from Ibist compariably no doubt about the 4 star, room was better organized, clean and great amenities.

Did not expect hotel to be convenient to Valencia city ,it's good for airport access . Only problem is flies, either find the cause or if it is \" the time of year\" then get fly spraying. A better location map would help as Hotel.com site is not clear especially as road net work is busy and Spanish driving is a special experience. Overall little to fault for what we paid.THANKS

not good for one night.not close to anything. They advertise pool and sauna and dont have one. they offer the pool next door which is not theirs and when you go its not available because the owners run a swimming lessons. not airport shuttle service. They require a 24 hrs. in advance for any of the services . So if you stay one night there you dont have a shuttle bus service. taxi very expensive from the hotel to the airport.room service poor.

The optics of this hotel are great, location is alright but the downside for us was after a long day of Sight seeing we were awakened at 24:00 by the screeching sound of tables being removed for a banquet the following day. We phoned to ask that the table be lifted so that it was not so noisy but it carried on for an additional 45 minutes.

OK - I'll be honest, this was not a care free and happy stay in Tactica, in fact, considering this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel it was awful.

We had asked for a non-smoking rooms. Got a smoking room with cigarette burns in some of the furniture, it also stank on cigarettes. As it was quite late, we couldn't really be bothered to ask to move.
In the evening we went to have a shower, hairdryer was broke. Got ridiculously hot and started to glow in your hand, very dangerous! Went to reception to ask for a new hairdryer, was told I'd have to wait till 7am!?
7am arrives. Call reception, ask for hairdryer. No idea what I am talking about. Explain that it's broken, they say they'll send someone up. 20 mins later, nobody here yet... Call again, get told, not possible yet, maybe later. I politely explain that I am not willing to wait and that I have already been waiting since yesterday.. Someone arrives.... A chamber maid, surpsingly enough the chamber maid couldn't fix it, not that she's an electrician. She disappears. Clock still ticking, waiting to get showered and go to the F1.
I call down again, I say that perhaps a sensible solution is that they give us access to another room. He agrees and asks me to pick up the key from reception, I ask that they bring it up, he huffs and comes up.
New room, hairdryer works. Kind of. Bit like an asthmatic blowing on you.

The Tactica Hotel in Paterna - Good business hotel
I stayed in Hotel Tactica for 2 nights while on a business trip to Valencia. It is a newly built hotel, well maintained, close to the airport. The rates are economical. It is in an industrial area so don't expect any market / sightseeing places nearby. At times the hotel could be difficult to locate as there are not many signboards. Overall a recommended hotel for people on short business trip to Valencia

I wanted a hotel that had parking and was easy to find. With myu GPS this hotel was very easy to find. Its about 20 minutes to downtown and with a GPS I was able to navigate my way to parking lot downtown, have dinner and back to the hotel again. Free wifi and breakfast. If you do not want to struggle finding a hotel in down town Valencia, want parking and American like ammenities. This is a good htoel. Cannot say much about the local area because I did not spend any time there.

A spacious modern hotel, but not at all impersonal as the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. From the moment we stepped in they could not have done more for us. All had a little english but I wanted to practise my spanish. The rooms are a good size and comfortable with lots of little goodies for the ladies. My husband was delighted with the free wi fi and free parking for the car.Breakfast was plentyfull, not just continental but hot food too.The cafe bar food was simple but well cooked and all prices where very reasonable, even drinks!
We used the metro to get into the centre of Valencia, it is 3 kilometres from the hotel but plenty of car parking around. It was so easy to get around on the metro and cheap too.
