Great area to stay with all the great dining options right behind the property. Walkable to Vatcan, patheon and Trevi fountain. Easy access to busses that take you to Tremini terminal right outside on the main road. Walkable toTrastevere to get a really good meal. I would stay again as the rooms were all we needed for our trip. Good place and good people

Omg I loved my stay! It was so much nicer than I thought it would be. The location, the size of the room, the friendliness and overall it was vvvvv good. Not sure why it’s just 2 star it definitely is 3 stars and above. The room has all amenities, such a great location. I saved in a one person room by myself but it could totally accommodate two people with two suitcases. Highly recommend! Daniel is the best and sooo helpful

This hotel is a beautifully safe hotel in the best location in Rome. The very helpful and friendly staff are so extremely charming. I would go back to this amazing hotel as soon as I am able to. There are dozens of fantastic restaurants near the hotel. If you fancy good looking cloths, there are plenty of first class places to visit, it is really easy to find the best churches to visit and worship. Hotel Primavera is the best home away from home!

Wall is very thin, you'll hear everything and you can hear people talk in their rooms while walking down the hallway. Staff is very nice and friendly. Breakfast option is good, very few choices but good quality. Old style hotel, uses keys to open doors, there are 3 doors that they give you so every time you enter hotel you have to take out your keys and open those doors manually....hotel is not near any main transportation so beware

I stayed in Rome by myself for a few days in between other trips. The hotel building is quite old but in good condition and the bathroom looked recently renovated. The location is perfect for walking around the Centro Storico and other sites are not a far walk away or accessible by bus. Staff were very friendly and helpful at check-in. The breakfast is basic continental but good.

Hotel Primavera is in a prime location for exploring Rome. It's super close to Campo De Fiori, Piazza Navona, bus stops, and amazing food spots. You can easily walk to the Pantheon or head to the Vatican, Foro Romano, or Trastevere in just a few minutes. The hotel is really comfortable, with a lift (and no steps) to get to the rooms, and the staff are really friendly.

Our first trip to Rome started off as a disaster, the advantages of booking this hotel is that it is close to all the popular sites and restaurants, the neighborhoods are wonderful, however I would not recommend this hotel if you are planning on visiting during the summer, we are from Florida so we are use to the hot weather but when we visited it was uncomfortable for us, with not propper or working A/C. I read the reviews after booking this hotel and I know it's 2 start hotel, but your guest should be comfortable when they come in to rest, and that for me is lower than 2 stars. We lost our luggage at the airport and I must commend Daniel for being kind and generous for offering to call the airport for us! And also lending us a US adapter. Thank you so much!

I begin mention Alexa , the young lady who checked us inn. She listened to our needs and deliver a basket for breakfast before we begin our tour 3 times , thanks Alexa . The hotel is near all the attractions and sightseeing we went , collesseum , Trevi fountain , forum… also there was a taxis right at hotel . The hotel also arrange a taxis to pick us up at the airport.

honestly I hesitated before booking this hotel because of some negative reviews.. but it was a very positive experience.
1.I believe the hotel is an apartment building with a couple of floors converted to a hotel. the building is old from the 1800s..rooms are fair size..
2. hotel is very clean
3.Staff is super friendly and helpful

4.There's a taxi stand and bus stop just outside the hotel
5. breakfast is basic but sufficient.. 2 types cold cuts.. cheese.. pastries.. yogurt.. freshly made hot drinks (cappuccino etc..).. fresh fruits..

The only downside is that there is live music on the street pretty much every night until 11 pm. It can be a bit loud, if you plan to go to sleep earlier than 11. An interior room facing the courtyard would be quieter.

One really never knows what a place will be like but….We absolutely loved it at Hotel Primavera. The staff was very personable and informative. The breakfast was perfect for us. The room was quite adequate and very clean and comfortable for sleeping. Some may not like street/music sounds but it didn’t bother us. We enjoy the sounds of life and joy. It was in a great location for walking to many historical and top rated sites to see in Rome. There were 2 piazzas nearby and many restaurants to choose from. Loved the elevator too.

Very nice and friendly hotel very close to Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori. My room was decent size with TV and mini fridge. The bathroom was also a decent size with a shower. The room was comfortable. My room was on the inner courtyard and was pretty quiet. The breakfast consisted of rolls, pastry, sliced ham, sausage and cheese, yogurt, cereal, coffee. it was sufficient and there are many restaurants nearby. I would stay again.

The service we received from this place was impeccable! We were a group of three couples. Everyday was a busy day of sightseeing for us and we’ve have to leave the hotel early on some days. On those days they would send us a nice breakfast basket the night before so we could have breakfast before we leave or take it on the road. The staff would even contact us to ask if we would need breakfast baskets the next morning. Just hands down the best staff and hotel we’ve ever stayed in! The hotel may not be new, but it was super clean, smelled so good and have such a nice character. The rooms were nice and spacious as well. Best part was also that it was right on the spot as far as dinning,(literally around the corner and across!) tons of choices! Also shopping, etc. Super close to everything. Next door to Museo de Roma, 5mins walk to Navona square, 15 mins walk to Trevi Fountain and lots more! We literally walked to everywhere! We’ve had such a great experience in the beautiful city of Rome, top it off with the best place to stay! Thank you to such amazing staff of Hotel Primavera!

When we arrived we found the main door locked. We pressed the intercom and had no response. After trying this for 10 min we called the hotel number and had no response. Lucky for us another hotel guest arrived and let us in the main door, showed us where the elevator was and took us to the second floor, through another locked door to the locked reception door. We waited several min at the reception door and then called the hotel number to reach the receptionist. He answered and we were checked in. The property needs to provide better clarification for guests to check in.
We found the 2nd floor room to be clean but very noisy during the day and at night. The bed was not very comfortable. Good thing we only had one night before we were traveling again.

Hotel is located in the hear of Rome just steps from Piazza Navonna and Campo dei Fiori. The best eats around and lots of stores for anything you might need. Great public transportation to anywhere in Rome.
The host was very nice and walked us to the room and gave us great advice on the city. Room was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Very clean and well stocked. Great views from Rome from the buiding. Breakfast was good, specially the croisants that were delicios. Definitely recommend and will go back without hesitation. Thank you!

Located in a perfect area, right by Piazza Novana and within walking distance of all the major sights - I didn't have to walk more than 20 minutes to get to almost every sight I wanted to. There are a few bus routes that stop right there if needed, and the piazza it's located in is also a taxi stop. It's a bit difficult to find at first, you'll have to ring a doorbell and go through a set of large wooden doors. The breakfast was continental but quite good, the rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. When we got there the person who greeted us told us how to get to all the nearest sights and was available for any questions. It felt safe and welcoming. The rooms were a little bit small but not in a bothersome way. We had a private bathroom but we looked at the shared bathroom too and it actually looked quite good. Also had an in-room safe which was a welcome surprise. I would stay here again.

Don't accidentally book a shared bathroom

I wrote an honest negative review and for some reason hotels.com rejected it. That could explain why the reviews of this hotel look so glowing here and how I made the mistake of booking it. It's old and dirty, and too hidden and easy to accidentally book a nonrefundable 'shared bathroom' room - which we accidentally booked and is even worse than it sounds. The location is good but I would never stay here again. Please look elsewhere, I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Basic but the best location

Basic but clean b&b in a fantastic location just moments from Piazza Navona. Buses to collosuem and Vatican right outside and a cab rank in front of hotel. Breakfast limited (a roll and a croissant each plus various types of jam, cornflakes, one type of mystery pink fruit juice and coffee but it is what you would expect in an Italian b&b. I'ts nothing fancy but i would stay here again because the location is brilliant.

The location of this hotel was wonderful. It is right by Piazza Novano, so lots of food and shopping options nearby. The staff was incredibly friendly. We had a quad room, which was fine. No extra frills, but very suitable for sleeping in. One of the beds was not quite as comfortable as the others, but still fine. The bathroom was tiny, as we are used to American bathrooms. It worked, but two people can not get ready at one time. The breakfast was great. The room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel to friends and would stay here again.

The location is AMAZING!! u can walk almost everywhere within Rome. But There is a taxi station right outside of hotel if u choose. Hotel is on second floor of residential bldg and has a definite old world charm. Most staff was eager to help and spoke English. Breakfast was very good and enough to start ur day BUT it doesn't start until 8 and we had several morning tours booked-no accommodations could be made to give us roll/coffee early. Our toilet broke one night (water spraying everywhere) so we had to use hall toilet for approx 12 hrs until day staff returned-not a prob since hall toilet was close to our room. ( I never have high expectations for Rome plumbing so I wasn't shocked or upset). Overall a gem hidden in an ideal place!!

Wonderful stay with Mr. Daniel and his great staff. Very kind and helpful. Accommodations were perfect, quite clean and air conditioner worked flawlessly. Breakfast more than adequate including espresso drinks made by his staff for guests. Also, the location is in the heart of Centro Storico di Roma - just about every major site is less than 15 minutes walk from the Hotel Primavera.

Positive Points - Secure and Centrally located.
Negative Points - A/C is either on or off and you can not control the temp it is at a fixed temp. Towels/Linens get changed every 3 days as the are a 2 Star hotel in Rome. Elevator broke for 2 days while there. We were on 5th floor. Management said the elevator is not their problem as the bldg is used for offices, private homes, etc... They kept reminding me they were a 2 star hotel. Blowdryer and TV didn't work. Breakfast is from 8am-10am. Wifi not great. Remember it is a 2 star hotel they will remind you if anything goes wrong so you definately get what you pay for.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was great. Had a little glitch with the a/c at the beginning, but the staff figured it out and all was good. The room we were in accommodated is and our two grown kids. Nice breakfast options. The location was great for us. We used Uber mainly to get around and it was about a 10–15 minute drive in each direction to the Borghese, Vatican and Colosseum. Very close to Piazza Navona which has great food options and pop-up entertainment in the evenings. There were a lot of places to eat within a couple blocks of the hotel. We walk a fair amount and the location was easily walkable to places like the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain.

Fantastic, perfect location! So many sites were in easy walking distance. Piazza Navona is right behind the hotel. It was a wonderful area for food and entertainment. The Pantheon was only an 8 minute walk and the Trevi Fountain just a few more minutes. The area is called The Heart of Rome and I agree. The hotel rooms were extremely clean and the staff were wonderful. Free breakfast was included. This was our first time in Rome so feeling comfortable was important. It was also reasonably priced which was a plus. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, friendly staff, no air condition

Location is fantastic, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. It has everything we needed except that it is a noisy at night so we had trouble sleeping. And we couldn't close the windows because we were told air conditioning would not be turned on until June. This is in spite of the fact as listing the property as with air conditioning. Be aware when booking if you need air conditioning.

Charming hotel in a great location.

Hotel was charming, affordable and in a great neighborhood. Room was definitely small, and the hotel itself (being on the second floor) is hard to find/get into. But still would highly recommend. Wifi worked fine.
Breakfast was more formal than we needed, but that was okay since it was complimentary.

Friendly staff and very good location

Hotel is pretty basic and old but has its charms. They have a very friendly staff. Danielle made sure that we had a comfortable stay. Issa was there every morning to prepare our breakfast. Breakfast was simple (croissant, ham, cheese and salami and different types of drinks) but gave us a good start in the morning. Location was great! All walking distance to Piazza Navona, Vatican City, Spanish steps, Trevi Fontain, etc. Longer but manageable walk to Colloseo. I couldn't give it a higher rating because the bathroom sink clogged all the time, had to press the flush many times before it worked and there was an unpleasant odor.

Location!

The hotel is located on fourth floor of mixed use large building and convenient to all attractions of Rome. The guy at the reception was friendly. The room was basic and breakfast was good.
イタリアの他の都市(特にフィレンツェ)と比べるとお得感がありませんが、多分ローマはこんな感じなのでしょうか。ローマ観光には絶好のロケーションですが、お部屋は至ってベーシック、朝食もそこそこです。入り口はエレベーターで上がった四階です。

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

Location is important in Rome and Hotel Primavera is in the middle of everything, with the Piazza Navona next door, the Pantheon & Trevi Fountain within 5 minutes, and the Colosseum & Vatican both 15 minutes away. surrounded by really good restaurants. We were a bit disappointed with our first impression of the room, but it was clean, quiet, had a good shower and we slept well. Breakfast was a very good continental.

Walking distance to historic central Rome's sites

The room was nice, although I wasn't aware when I booked it on Expedia that we would be using a bathroom down the hall. I liked the ancient nature of the building, and it is almost adjacent to Piazza Navona, a favorite site in Rome. The breakfast was tasty as well.

I booked this hotel based on availability, location and price. I knew it was a 2 stars hotel, but the pictures provided in Orbitz website were clearly taken many many years ago because this place need so paint, new bed linens, curtains, etc.
