Nice enough room but full of mosquitoes and we were woken every night multiple times by machinery ( fogging, high pressure cleaning , repair work etc) yelling , stomping on top floor, tapping on wall.

Pool staff and visitors had a too cool for school attitude. Basically it’s great for young infleuncers who want to take pics of themself by the pool and nobody else.

Cafe was really nice for breakfast and staff there were lovely.

Charged us the equivalent of 35$ AUD for a supposedly dirty sheet and face towel that had a bit of makeup on it….

So yeah, 3 stars is probably generous and was a bad choice of accomodation on my parts

stayed here solo for 2 weeks, stay were SO SO lovely, the area is incredibly clean and beautiful. Bed was too firm for my liking but i got used to it fast. Loved the food, they are great at organising different things amongst travellers so you can get to know other people there. such a great trip!!

Amazing little place! We absolutely loved it, you get free breakfast and free massages included with the price of a private room. The restaurant is one of the best around too! Staff so accommodating and friendly, a hidden gem right in the heart of Canggu. We actually tried to stay a second time and were gutted it was fully booked so definitely book in advance!

Canggu village has a very relaxed atmosphere and daily events such as movie nights, meet and greets etc. Staff very friendly and the breakfast in the morning delicious!

As a solo traveller Canggu Village was perfect.
Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was always open and inviting.
Being connected to Kos One hostel meant there was a social component you don’t get at a standard hotel.
Great location in the middle of Canggu, surrounded by the best cafes and restaurants.

I liked that property looked just as it was online. The amenities were just as I expected. The service was adequate, nothing exceptional though. Definitely for a younger crowd. They had movie night by the pool & played good music.

I checked in on a Saturday afternoon and got a little scared at the loud music & party vibe around the pool but it stopped by 7pm and there was no party at the hotel at night. Staff and guests were friendly and it was a great experience. Good breaky options. Great location

Well…this is a tricky one
The bad bits;
We thought we were going to be in a property surrounded by rice fields as per their website.
There is none of that at all.
When we arrived we were taken to the far eastern facing room, very small, facing a construction full on site and the back, a muddy empty land block.
When we opened the bathroom we were shocked to realise that the bathroom floor was fake grass…is this possible?
My Wife was horrified and was not even willing to walk on it. We expressed our disappointment and demanded a change of the room which was only possible two days later, we still had to spend two days in this terrible room with a construction site going until very late in the day.
We we’re no happy!
Two days later we were moved to a better room facing the pool area.
The good bits.
Lovely Staff, cheap and good drinks, nice breakfast and great pool area…which is named Alternative Beach.
This is definitely a property targeting the 20-30 year olds.
We are definitely no longer in this age group but still.
We still had fun and enjoyed our time in Canggu.
Strongly recommend the Management to replace that horrible bathroom fake grass and please be honest about the true surroundings of your property.

Beautiful rooms at a lovely property. Perfect area for exploring Canguu. Very accommodating staff and the free breakfast is SO YUMMY! Appreciate the late check out offered by this property. The pool area is a very cool hang out space, we loved it! The only let down was that the pool became quite unclean after a few days - I think they had an issue from the filter which is fair enough. Hopefully all sorted and was just a one off.

Hip and fun; best place to stay in Canggu

Exceptional value for money and one of the most hip modern clean properties I have stayed in. Amazing breakfast.. Incredible staff..great pool vibe. Superb outdoor showers. What a great place to meet beautiful people from all over the world. Fabulous location. Recommend the private double room by the pool if you can afford to pay a bit more.

Amazing! Location is great - Tucked away from the noise but still walking distance to everything! Super friendly staff. Cute rooms and amazing sunny pool with swim up bar and plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Breakfast is especially good (recommend the vegan pancakes and I’m not even vegan). Plus they include Free morning yoga classes. Expect to hear house music by the pool and people partying, so If you’re looking for pure zen and quiet then this might not be for you.

I Highly recommend and will stay here again next time I’m in canggu!

Great venue, the Saturday pool party was great, however not ideal if you want to get any sleep at night.
People were still in the pool being loud at 4am
There is a backpackers at same place so mix of guests.

Love the stay at Canggu village! Awesome breakfast with a wide selection and served with free coffee/ tea and juice.

Just 2 things that can be further improve. On the stay on Tuesday morning, there was some mosquito spraying ongoing at 6am in the morning which is rather frustrating and noisy since it’s very early. And thereafter the whole room reeks of the mosquito spray smell.
And lastly, WiFi in the room can be improved! Connection keep getting lost in the toilet and bedroom but the connection is strong outdoor by the pool and at the restaurant. Overall very pleased with the stay, love the whole vibe and environment. Will come back to stay!

Second time

It was my second time to be stayed at canggu village. This time I selected upstairs with 7 nights. I had sleep well only 2 nights, other nights I couldn’t sleep well is some people swim in the pool during 1-4am and could hear next room what they were talking and their snore or even intimacy .... I will select ground floor room if I come back ..... breakfast had been good and fresh!

Pool area, swim up bar, restaurant, breakfast all very good. Room was ok, very basic for the price you are paying, similar rooms in area are much cheaper. Dirty, towels and sheets not white, hair in bathroom and on floor in room when checked in. But amazing pool and location.

Property is nice , new and fresh !
Thought it was trying to be Too-many things hostel , hotel and beach club .
They seemed to be Looking for high end crowed .
Food was nice but very limiting everything we asked for was at extra charge ie cream cheese in the cream cheese bagel was extra if you wanted more than a fine smear on it and extra for water at breakfast :(

Disappointed by the small size of room.
If you are in the party mood, this could be a good place. And you will be able to feel and hear the beats in your room all day long, unfortunately you will also hear your neighbour talking next door, staff sweeping floor, and dogs barking in distance at midnight and in the early morning.

Location is great.
Breakfast is a big plus.
Overall is a cute place with a poorly designed room.

Constant photo shoots at property was really disturbing, not fair on guests having to have 3 or photo photo shoots being conducted in and around the pool every day. Unable to relax with all that going on around you. one morning 14 out of the 19 sunloungers has reserved signs on them. This hotel is trying to do too many things - open to public, hire for photo shoots, backpackers and hotel.

Canggu Village ist ein sehr interessanter Ort. Einerseits gibt es die Hotelzimmer (in denen wir waren) andererseits gibt es auch Mehrbett Hostel Zimmer. Die Anlage teilt man als sogenannter Alternative Beach.
Tolles Ambiente, wer allerdings Ruhe sucht ist dort fehl am Platz, da häufig ein DJ im Alternative Beach auflegt und es bis ins Zimmer sehr laut hörbar ist. Dadurch dass es eigentlich ein Hostel ist gibt es viele Aktivitäten über die man über eine Whatsapp Gruppe informiert wird. Das inbegriffene Frühstück war echt super!
Zusammengefasst: Hostel, Hotel und öffentlicher Beachclub in einem.
Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen, da auch die Lage fantastisch war.
Das Bett war leider sehr unbequem, aber das Hotelzimmer sehr schön. Ach ja: wir hatten dort unsere Bali Balley. Wir vermuten das Leitungswasser dort, da es schon verdächtig gerochen hat.
