The hotel is a classy well-run facility with great staff and services. The hotel was conveniently located and was easy to get to from the airport. The rooftop pool in particular was a highlight whilst all the restaurants were fantastic.

Breakfast was great with varieties of dishes , especially La Vela is excellent when they offer early- checking -out customers five different menus for taking our breakfast, while some other hotels- specifically Lotte Saigon- did not have this, even when customer requested. Touristy but comfortable, great breakfast buffet with amazing city views. I had some small issues with the ac in my room but Sam at the concierge desk was extremely helpful in resolving my issues. And in general all of the staff at La Vela Saigon were incredibly welcoming, courteous and hard working.
The only real issue I’d point to at this hotel is that it is located at a major traffic intersection — it didn’t affect noise in the hotel but limits walkability in the neighborhood.

This was a beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and accomodating. The food was excellent. The roof top pool and bar was outstanding. We loved it so much we extended our stay another 4 days just for this. Everyone says that District 1 is the only place to stay. The La Vela is in District 3 and it’s worth making the change to District 3 just for this stay as you can always get a cheap taxi to District 1 if you want.

The staff is wonderful and the room and property itself is clean. We got the Luxury Deluxe Corner room with was very spacious and had two balconies. Only downside to this property is the walls a thin and you could hear lobby noise, the room next to us and even being in the 22nd floor you could hear the street noise and the music from the bar across the street at night.
