Much better than staying in nearby Vinhomes units where our relatives rented. Our family had a great stay overall. The hotel is clean, room has both washer and dryer, the cover pool is well designed, and the staff were generally excellent and welcoming.

The reason for 4 stars: the first night room service (pizza and fries) was very plain and tasteless. The next day, we ordered a Saigon coco drink that tasted bad — so much so we couldn’t drink it. When we brought it back to the restaurant, it was taken away and that’s it, which was disappointing.

Still a very good hotel in a good neighborhood.

The best part was in the afternoon of our last day we were able to store our luggage after check out, and use the shower facilities on level 1 for no extra charge before our train journey in the evening. That kind of sevice makes all the difference for a family of four and we would highly recommend.

Room was clean, staff super respectful and friendly. Two issues that I would like to provide feedback on. The front lobby and elevators have a strong smell that is overpowering and causes irritation. Consider not over spraying the perfume. Many of the members in our group commented on it.

The water heater was tricky to use. Maybe provide better instructions at check in so that it does not frustrate the guests.

The staff at Sherwood suites were absolutely spectacular, the breakfast had many options that all appeared to be fresh versus going to some hotels where it looks like the food‘s been sitting there for three days prior. Paragraph the room was exactly as shown in the pictures and what a plus to have a large washer and dryer inside of the hotel room.

Absolutely intend on coming back to this location for an extended stay and Sherwood suites helped us to make Vietnam a destination that we will definitely be returning to.

The staff are the warmest and friendliest people here! They were kind enough to upgrade our studio booking and we were so grateful as it gave our toddler so much more room to burn some energy. The apartment itself was clean and spacious (the bathroom in particular was massive) and the amenities like the kids room and indoor pool were bonuses. We would definitely recommend and return.

The staff is fantastic. Super helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff was quick and thorough (two folks at a time, shoes off). The room was spacious and provided privacy, a living area, and a dining area. The bathroom was clean and enormous. I loved the ability to use the pool and hot tub. They also offer a steam room and sauna room, plus a gym. Helped bring up deliveries. The kitchen was stocked with housewares and cooking implements. I appreciate that the in unit laundry was separated washer/dryer. Would definitely stay here next time I’m in HCMC!

Spacious, clean room, kudos to the housekeeping team. Breakfast and dinner also excellent with good variety with lovely, helpful staff. Location is great and you can pretty much walk to main attractions.

However, requested breakfast upon check-in and thought they'd charged us then and there so we could get the 10% discount but turned out they didn’t and ran after us, banging and shouting at the car, which made us feel very uncomfortable as felt like we were treated like criminals when they were the one who forgot to charge us in the first place and inconvenienced the driver. This is also after they asked us to wait at reception for 5 minutes while checking the room to make sure we weren't lying when we said we hadn't had anything off the minibar, definitely not standard practice since we didn’t have that in the other hotel in Vietnam. Resulting in horrendous check out experience that tainted an otherwise great stay. Hence, deducting 2 stars due to the front office staff.

Well maintained hotel that is clean, smells good from lobby to walkway to room. Room is fully equipped, functional and clean. Lots of lighting controls that is easy to access. Kitchen is functional that you can cook with pots, cutlery and knife, scissors, plates, bowls, drinking glasses provided. Dishwashing with liquid and sponge provided. Living room is connected to the king size bed spaciously. Toilet is huge with separate showers and bathtub and WC. There are 2 wash basins, huge mirror with attached magnifying mirror. Full height day and night block out curtains.

My kids loved the pool and swam everyday. We all enjoyed the game and kids room. As well as our room of course!

Our last stay here in 2023 was perfect, this time was even better.
I noticed a few minor changes from two years ago which are very good and would like to commend you on this.

Some of the staff who are still employed there remembered us which made us feel appreciated.

The housekeeping was always on point. My daughter helped them on the last day and attempted to make the bed for them to save them time.

Staff is very kind, helpful and quick to assist with your needs.

Each morning and night walking through the lobby you are always acknowledged. Close to local restaurants nearby and within walking distance. Grab and taxi were quick to arrive.

There is no regrets and our family will be back in 2 years again. We hope we see all the staff again

The hotes is definitely 5 star. The studio was big, quiet, had excellent appointments, laundry facilities, super clean, comfortable bed and was well maintained. The staff were exceptional as they went above board to assist me in recovering my briefcase that i left in a taxi and in arranging side excursions. The breafasts included were very good and food choice was good. We ate in the restaurant for other meals and the \"shaking beef\" was as good as the Slanted Door in San Francisco. I will stay hete again if traveling to Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you!

A wonderful and comfortable stay in a studio suite here: spacious, clean, and with a washer/dryer. There's not much to the immediate area, but plenty of eating locations and within walking distance of some of the major sites (Cathedral, Post Office, Ben Thanh Market) or you can take a complementary hourly shuttle from its next door sister hotel. Lovely staff (shout out to Quynh at the delicious and filling breakfast buffet ). An overall wonderful stay here.

I stayed here for 10 nights with my family, we were visiting from the United States, but we are Vietnamese. We loved our stay, it was a great home base, we spent time in District 1 and 3 and they provided a daily shuttle during the day to get to Ben thanh market and other popular destinations to save us from walking in the heat. Although the walk was only 10-20 minutes with lots of shops and cafes along the way. I stayed in a 2 bedroom, we were thankful for the air conditioning, laundry and full-sized refrigerator, gym and the cleaning staff. We did watch a lot of animal planet too when waiting for the weather to cool down. The staff speak English which was useful, they checked in on us often. They also have a restaurant in the hotel that's pretty good too if you don't want to go out in the heat.

We had a lovely stay at Sherwood Suites and would definitely recommend it. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed, including in-room dining, which we used one evening. Both the food and drinks were great.

The facilities were excellent. We used the gym, steam room, and pool, all of which were clean and well maintained. I especially liked the canopy over the pool, which provided welcome shade from the sun.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great with plenty of buffet options as well as a menu you could order from, which was a nice touch.

If I return to Ho Chi Minh City, I would happily stay here again as it is a reliable choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Excellent stay. Staff helpful and professional. Let me checked in three hours earlier at no extra charge. Not much difference in price between the rooms so may book in a bigger room, if I stay longer than one night.

I had a very good night sleep and peacefully quiet room, despite being in one of the noisiest places on earth.

I stayed to catch an early flight in the morning. I am converted. You get your money worth. If you want to feel home from home and cook it is a perfect place. I did not have to use kitchen but it looked well equipped with everything ones need in a kitchen.

There was a smell in the room. Rather than acknowledging and providing another room, they tried to use air freshener to mask the smell. After complaining again they finally offered to change the room but we were already on day 2 of our 4 day trip and it was very inconvenient. They offered a free taxi to the airport on check out. We are a family of four, they booked a 3 seater car and could not understand the issue when we asked them to change the vehicle for a 4 seater. They didn't change the car.
Our experience with the hotel was on contrast to last year where the stay was 10/10. This year I am afraid I would give the place 5/10. We paid 40% more for the room this year. Booking last minute seems to get you a much better rate. There is a lot of competition for good hotels in HCMC so even though sometimes the rate looks good you can get better hotels at the same rate

This is a very high quality hotel. They're attentive to every detail to make your experience great. Our family suite was amazing. We couldn't have asked for anything more. It's a huge suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, dining area, and laundry.

My only complaint as a tourist is that the prices at their cafe are closer to U.S. prices than Vietnamese prices. For example, a coffee might cost $6 when you can go next door and pay $1. It appears to me that their prices are set up for business travelers who aren't price sensitive since their company is paying for it. But that's not a problem if you dine outside the hotel.

What a fantastic place to stay, our apartment was very large, bright and extremely clean and very quiet. It’s in district 3 and walkable to many places they also supply a shuttle to the main attractions. The unit had an office, laundry room in your unit, with two bathrooms for each bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking if you choose. It is well appointed! There is a swimming pool, pool table and foosball table area and a really good gym. The staff were very helpful, special thanks to Tan Nguyen for sending mail for us on our last day. Definitely recommend staying here it’s like being in your own private apartment.
