It was clean enough to stay but it was lacking allot. The dishes were dirty as well as the coffee maker . There was a Note saying I would be charged for dirty dishes or towels but no soap or sponge to clean them. The office was closed so I bought my own from the corner market so we could eat dinner off clean dishes after reheating it in the oven because there was no microwave on a baking sheet that was to big to fit in the oven. The next morning I was trying to make coffee and the fuse kept flipped at least 5 times. There was half a roll of toilet paper and a little more than half a roll of paper towels
It was a very cute place and could have been a nice stay but it didn't seem that anyone who worked there cared that we were there .

Not a great experience overall. The view was nice. The bed was not. The WIFI was down the entire time we were there and there is little to no cell service in the area. The room is ok if you're desperate to put your head down for the night as a last resort. Not worth the money at all....not even a little bit.

WiFi was out the whole stay. Shower didn't drain properly. Room had incredibly strong pina colada air freshener that gave us a headache. The facilities were quite shabby, but everything was clean and the staff was very kind.

We had a bay view room on the ground level. The view was great and there was a fairly easy path down to a nice beach. They also had tables, chairs, and a firepit in front of the motel looking over the bay. The room had been recently painted and everything was clean. The mattress was older, but we slept ok. The window blind would open, but not raise and the chairs needed to be replaced. It looked like some much needed repairs were taking place in other units while we were there.

For the price, this place is a gem. Great path down to the beach and beautiful view from our deck. Comfortable beds. A bit run down but clean inside. The walls are very thin. We could hear every word our neighbors said so it was great they went to bed early. Again, for this price point it was well worth it.

The view from this hotel is spectacular and the beach access is amazing 😊 unfortunately, without the views and access, the hotel needs help! We arrived a little after check in time, the office door was open but no one was around. There were no notes or bells or guidance. Another guest was also there just waiting for someone to come help. I noticed someone wheeling around a towel cart so I approached them for assistance. They indicated there’s a number on the door and to call it. After calling the number someone was in the office within a few minutes. It would have been nice to have those instructions somewhere instead of having to search for assistance. The room was very old and needs updating. The bathroom was horrible and the lights didn’t even have a cover over them. The staff were friendly.

Clean and maintained only thing is under the beds could have been cleaned better…two dirty socks under one bed that had been there a while however will not let that deter us from staying again! Great beach access and great view. It sounds like they are in the process of renovating and our room just hasn't made the list yet. Coffee maker had old coffee in it and towel hooks had been pulled from the walls. The bathroom door was splintered. I'm sure all will be repaired in time. For now it is bare minimum but as we were there to visit family, hike, and beach walk it was great. Nice outdoor sitting/eating spot and a good grocery next door with great breakfast burritos :)

Enjoyed our stay. Great location, short walk behind the property to the beach. Very peaceful neighborhood.
Wished there were some throw blankets in the suite.
Also what I reserved through Expedia was not what the inn had. Reserved the cabin, but in their end it was the loft.,although I showed the reservation confirming as cabin, the staff said unfortunately Expedia reservations have been having similar issues and would not check us into then cabin. But overall the loft was pretty nice with great view (but it does have narrow Stephanie the loft where the bed is.

We had room 17-with Balcony and the view was wonderful and a real pleasure to wake up to in the morning - the sound of the serf and all the bird activity. The property overall could use a bit more cleaning. Just a bit of a power spray to remove Bird poop back from the door to enter the room would be great. Had a good nights sleep and we liked the mattress. Beach was gorgeous.

Room was very dirty. Found trash under bed and dirt food crumbs all over the floors in multiple places. The microwave wouldnt work without the breaking going out. Had to reset breaker multiple times. Room smelt bad and bed was on moving feet kept moving around. One of the outlets had broken plastic pieces. Bedding had literal old blood stains on it. Will be requesting refund cause it literally ruined experience.

Let’s start with the positives, the location, view and surrounding area are amazing.
As for the rest, we were informed that we had to check in by 7 as the office was closed after that.
We arrived at 6pm, told the key was in a lock box with the code and we went to the room. It’s was clean but looking a little rough around the edges. Then we logged into the WiFi but the password didn’t work, which was concerning as we had no cell reception so I went straight back to the office. It had a closed sign and stated was only open 10-5, it had only been 5 minutes but it was deserted. There was a number to call, but I had no cell reception
I tried the WiFi again but the information we were given was incorrect, inciuding the name of the WiFi so we were stuck with no cell reception and no WiFi. In 2026 this is not acceptable.
We had a long drive home still, so had to go the bed early and we left early to try and get back to civilization ASAP.

I hate to say it, but this was not a great stay. The location is fantastic, check-in was easy, and there was an entire fridge in the room. Unfortunately, it's old and badly in need of major renovations. Very uncomfortable, squeaky bed. Stained bedding. Interior is falling apart. And I could hear every footstep and word being spoken by neighbors. I guess there's a reason it's cheaper than everywhere else in the area. But not worth it, in my opinion.

There was no facial tissue (just an empty box) and no floor bath towel. The shower should be washed regularly as it has a very overwhelming dog smell. The second bed frame is not anchored to the headboard or wall so it keeps sliding on the floor with a bit of pressure against the sides, which is a safety issue even though guests are aware of it. Handrails to the beach trail needs to be repaired and replaced; some are missing completely.

The we have no complaints with our room it was very clean. We had a balcony with views of the ocean right in front. We were able to sit and watch the sunset while we ate our dinner. Beautiful!!

Renters beware! This place was a tired, old, gross room to stay in! It is in need of serious repair and cleanliness. The room we had looked nothing like you see on the website! The bathroom was gross...duck tape on bottom of door, we were left with an extra small roll of toilet paper, bottom sheet had a stain on it (think blood), and outlet by my side of bed had no cover. Plus furniture was outdated and it was just disgusting! Amount paid was decent, if hotel would have been decent but it was 100% not! Will never return and totally do not recommend!

My 2 kids and I had a wonderful stay at the Terimore Inn. We had a room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the bay and sunset. I like how the rooms were all offset, so no room was directly on top of another. It made staying on the top floor with young kids much more relaxing. The front office staff were all very kind and went out of their way to help us with anything we asked for. They have their own beach access stairs that were a little rickety but seemed that they were being worked on (there was some caution tape put on the sketchiest part of the stairs so was easy to tell where you needed to be most careful) so beach access was quick. All in all we would stay again in a heartbeat!

I was hopeful for this property. After reading some of the reviews and thought it’s one night we can give it a shot.
Nope, we made it one hour. The property has a great view and easy access down some stairs to the beach. They have a nice outside sitting area that over looks the bay/ocean with some tables and gas fire pit.
As far as the room/cabin itself, it looked like it had been updated but the cigarette smell was so bad and so strong it made us sick. My husband use to be a smoker and he couldn’t even handle it. It’s not just the smell when you’re standing next to one smoking, it was the stale smell that has been there 20 years. The counter top, the table and couch were very sticky. The bathroom floor was soft and squishy. I’m sure
The floor was rotting underneath. We left after an hour and we spent most of that down at the beach. The manager was very nice and friendly and told us he understands. He would have offered a different room but they were full. He gave us a full refund and apologized. Then we drove just drove home. Needless to say we won’t ever go back.

Drove 2 hours from cannon beach so we could see the Tillamook factory the next day only to find a room that had been smoked in heavily and dirty. Walls, floors, furniture, everything in there felt dirty. $140 is a waste for this place. The floor by the toilet was caving in. We had to drive in the dark another hour tired to find somewhere else to stay.
The nicest thing I can say is the hotel had someone texting which we let know. They were responsive and refunded us.

I stayed in Room 24 with a bay view. Only a drive aisle separate the rooms in the 20's from the slope that led down to the bay shoreline. Plusses were easy combination lockbox self check-in, the view of the bay, mouth of the bay, and ocean, and a large fridge, slightly smaller than a standard fridge, but much larger than a dorm fridge.
A minus was the very bouncy mattress and squeaky bed frame. If any one of a couple moves, the other feels an earthquake. My fiancé suffered back pain from sleeping on the mattress. Another was that the bathroom had no vent or vent fan, meaning that showering would fog the window, not any bathroom window (there's none) but the one window by the front door. Another was that though like most motels, there's no assigned parking stall, available parking is only available away from bay-facing rooms as a combination of on-street parking and parking in the center of the complex amid several buildings. With parking area pole signage having slightly different variations of the motel name, it was hard to tell what areas were motel parking and which were of other adjacent, private properties.

There were several things that were not as expected.
1. I thought I booked a room with a view of the ocean and balcony.
2. The entire property seemed under construction and run down.
3. The space heater in the living/kitchen did not work.
4. The kitchen supplies were pretty poor.
5. Some of the dishes that I pulled out to use were dirty.
6. The peninsula in the kitchen was sticky.
7. The bathroom did not seem clean.

The good things:
1. The price during off season was great
2. We were able to check in early. This worked well, because I had to pee and there was no other restroom available according to the staff.
3. The bed was comfortable and the heater worked in the bedroom.
4. Easy beach access.

Room seemed to have a long term guest previously, the room was far from clean. The pictures of rooms do not match actual rooms, for sure the price of the rooms are 2 times the amount they should be. There was pubic hair on the floor of the restroom. I wish I could upload pictures to show the bait and switch. Not only when we arrived at 6:18, we had no clue how to gain entry to the room as the office was closed. The staff said they sent us to he message but we only received after we had got there. We think it was because we reached out a few hours before to see if we could just move our stay to the next weekend. Rather then respond they immediately charged our card on file, no response no even a I am sorry we cannot. We still went because my wife was feeling pretty good after her surgery she had the day before. It was extremely disappointing to have a room look like cozy cabin still rooms and turn out to be a motel with long term residents living there. If you want to see pictures, I will be leaving a review in Yelp and anywhere else I can. Not only did we receive a text message at 7:00am reminding us of a 11am check out, a staff member was knocking on our door at 10:58am and not just 1 knock. They kept knocking until we opened the door, we were literally in the middle of getting our bags. Don’t let the view get you, go further up to Oceanside or somewhere else in the area. The manager then texted me 2 long paragraphs justifying their actions after I complained to hotels.com

Immediately upon entering the room, it smelled like animal urine. Even though it was cold outside, i had to open every window just to air out the smell.

The shower's water pressure was so light.I could not wash the shampoo out of my hair.

The headboard of the bed was clunky, and every time I rolled over it slammed against the wall.

And lastly, while running the microwave and no other appliances, a breaker trips, which left me in the dark. I texted the office or whoever it was that told me if I needed anything to let them know, and I got no response. Since I couldn't see, I used my cellphone to pack up my stuff and leave before the sun came up...

The balcony had a nice view of the bay, the balcony railing needs some updating, there were cigarette butts all over the driveway right in front of the balcony, cigarette ash on the walk way. Room 26 smelt like stale cigarette smoke. There were multiple stains on the shower curtain one looked to be blood which I didn't notice until I went to shower in the morning. A years worth of dust has collected behind the nightstand. Walls are thin and you can every noise from the room next door. Overall the room is not worth the money to stay here and I would look somewhere else if you're planning on staying in Netarts
