Great view, easy walk to the ocean. The cabin is very old and needs work. The shower was very warn, toilet was loose, the main window didn’t lock. Tv didn’t work, minimal kitchen items, very old microwave and hot plate. The cabin was extremely small snd bathroom was smaller yet. The host communication was extremely lacking. We wont return. It was VERY OVER PRICED!!!

Really unique vibe! The bungalow sits directly aback from the main Oceanside General Parking lot. Some confusion getting checked in. The town of Oceanside has no cell signal, and upon arriving I needed to call to get the room info, but no cell signal. Or pay phones etc. I dug through my emails and discovers I was supposed to go back into town to this other hotel. Drove there and got the info to unlock the lock box. Room itself was cozy and had everything but was definitely older and had that musty smell. Also the room has no AC so I was burning up. Normally it’s cooler outside but I was there and it was 90 degrees. The beachfront fire was amazing! Literally open your door and watch the ocean. Extremely convenient. Parking lot was a bit noisy with motorcycles and tourists. However after 10pm things really started settling down and it was amazing to jeer the ocean waves all night. Overall a solid experience

Rustic Cabins are great location to beach access. Small Cafe on corner had good salads and fish options. Make sure you get all grocery stuff before you arrive as town is small with limited options. Kitchen had cooking pans and dishes. Special parking for guests-cons no big trucks or large SUV will fit in hotel special lot. Cons-locks on door very hard to lock door not aligned well.
Would stay there again.

The pictures are a bit misleading as all of the cabins are connected and share walls with others rather than standing alone. The only way to access them is through one long, straight path that runs in front of all the cabins, so you’ll have people walking right in front of your door/porch. The parking lot is very small and at a bit of an angle which can be a challenge, and it doesn’t seem big enough to accommodate a car for every cabin. Once we got into the cabin, we immediately chose to leave. There were numerous stains and hairs all over all of the linens, spots and chips in the paint on the walls, and a very tight bathroom space. The property manager was a bit difficult to get ahold of initially because there is no service at the cabins, but once the call went through, he was extremely kind and accommodating and allowed us to move to his other property down the road in Netarts. The location of these cabins is great although the beach across the street is very busy and the cabins themselves could use some serious renovation and a deep clean. If you don’t mind cramped, crowded, and slightly dirty spaces, this would be a fine place to stay.

You cannot beat the location, that is an undeniable fact. I never personally interacted with any of the staff, but communication via phone and text was seamless and super responsive.
Pros: The view, obviously. The sound of the ocean. Very cute town. Comfortable bed. Very nice having a little kitchenette. Felt like a unique experience. Free parking for guests in an area that doesn't seem to have a ton of that. The beach is literallyrightthere.
Cons: The cabins are very tiny. I knew this, but kinda underestimated how tight it would be. We moved the bed over to the wall a bit for more room walking around it but it was tight. Bathroom was extra small. I feel like a little loveseat in the front room would be a huge improvement over the single chairs. TV is in the kitchen and it would have been nice to snuggle on a couch for a little Netflix before bed. Lastly, bring a sleep mask if you have a hard time sleeping with light. The morning gets bright and the curtains are not blackout.
Overall, definitely recommend this place, but there were a couple of things that I wish I'd known.
Oh, and dinner at The Schooner in Netarts was excellent!

The location is fantastic. I have stayed at these cabins a couple of times, and the value for the money is becoming less and less. It's a little disappointing to see the lack of maintenance in the units, to see piles of broken doors and building debris around the cabins, and wear and tear accumulating. This time the deck was so rotten, someone heavier is going to fall through it. Let's not wait until they become a health, life, safety concern. Please maintain these better. This is such a cute property.

You're paying for the view from the road not the view from the cabin itself. The management wasn't very helpful when communicating and seemed like we were putting them out to message them at all. The bed was HORRIBLE and felt like carboard. There is no service in the area, at least for Verizon and whoever we were communicating with seemed annoyed we had any problems. Parking was HORRIBLE unless everyone parked properly which it seemed like no one knew how to do. The room we got had a hill up to it, no stairs, no way of easily getting to the cabin to bring up our bags. It just wasn't a nice relaxing stay, we ended up leaving early. Don't stay here unless you want a low effort "camping" type experience close to tunnel beach.

🛑 So here's the thing, idk if it's this way year around but there was no signal. I couldn't get text or calls, I had to go into a restaurant "Roseanna's" to get the call the guy for our door code and key. (Plz be careful) 🛑
⛱️ Beautiful place. The room we stayed in was cozy and cute. Plus we went to Roseanna's everyday after that. Delicious!!! ☕

Our experience in Cabin 17 was not good. It was cold, there was no apparent heat source. The extra blankets reeked of mildew and were unusable. The tv did not work. We got no sleep. There was no regular coffee- just decaf. We had to leave in the early morning just to get in the car to get warm. I can’t get the sleep back but want my money back!

A no frills stay just a very short walk to the beach. This location was idea for low tide tidal pool exploring! We ventured through the secret tunnel to the beach.
The beds are comfortable and the rental was clean with two separate bedrooms, a living room, full kitchen and bathroom.
The location was easy to get to and you just can’t beat the views!!!!

The check in process was fine. Got the key from the main office and drove to the cabins. Once we got in though we discovered the toilet didn’t flush and was unusable. I called back to the office and was told they’d send someone out. While waiting for that we went out to dinner and coming back a few hours later nobody had come and we had to spend the night with no toilet. Luckily there was a park bathroom nearby.

The next day I called all the phone numbers I could find for the property multiple times with no answer. Eventually the person that checked us in answered and apologized. He sent someone out to look at the toilet but they weren’t able to fix it. For our second night we were moved to a sister property which was a decent place to stay and were told our whole stay would be refunded. That customer service really turned our stay around and we were happy. Unfortunately the refund hasn’t come even after asking about it twice.

Stayed in studio #16. Cute older/modernized place and lovely little porch. Windows face the ocean too, so if it is too chilly, one can go inside and sit at the table and look outside. Check in process was just fine-the itinerary leaves a number to call NOTE: there was a sound/pause after ringing (like an answering machine)—call is being transferred to another hotel who manages the cabins. Super friendly and helpful host—sent a text with instructions on how to access property. Parking was a bit tight. Wish there was a warmer comforter available instead of just the heater. Would stay here again 👍

Parking was very frustrating due to lay out of parking lot on hill. Very small parking spaces and poor lay out of parking spots. If anyone is driving a regular pick up they will have a difficult time parking their vehicle. Parking lot only works for small cars.

The smell of bleach was sooo bad. We opened every door and windows in order to breathe. Sadly it tore me up so bad that for the next 3 days of my vacation I felt stopped up and could taste bleach in my throat. Not sure what they were trying to cover up with the bleach but it made the rest of my vacation miserable.
There is no signal once you get about a mile from the cabin so make sure you know how to check in. We went to a Cafe to use their landline to call and find out how to check in. The place is little and old but cute and clean. Like straight bleach clean. The shower is very small and the light in the bathroom was flickering. Not sure why that was.
It said there was wifi there in the cabin. We called twice and spoke with someone about why we couldn't get no channels on the TV and after doing what they told us still no signal. After the 2nd time of answering when I called they just stopped answering the phone so they didn't have to deal with us about the TV...the 2 chairs in the cabin were also very small and very uncomfortable. I really think they could do better to make this place a nice clean place without bleach place to stay...

The beach view was great, the front porch was nice for sitting on and enjoying. The cabin was quite rustic, room 18 the bathroom is a tight fit for those with a little weight.
The stove did not work well even a whole burner was gone. The linens were not clean and the table was covered with dust.
Overall the stay was good having access to the beach and restaurants but probably will try something similar the next time.

Super cute place, if you don’t get cabin 23, especially if you have any difficulty with balance or walking. The other cabins have a porch with steps and railing, as well as two chairs out front. Ours had no deck, or porch and one ratty chair. It was a lil difficult to get in and out. But the host was so sweet and helpful, and again location is good and cabins are tiny but so cute!

The cabin pictured in the website and listing did not accurately depict the cabin we were assigned to. The room is much smaller. The cabin was very poorly maintained, including the shower which was filthy. We had booked the cabin for two nights but decided to leave the next morning after the first night. As we prepared to go to bed, we found bugs in the bed and drove home immediately. We have not been able to contact the managers for this property. The telephone number given for this rental was “not valid” and no one ever answers the number listed on the webpage.

Nice location as we wanted to see Tunnel Beach, no check in instructions until the 3rd call (first 2 calls left messages that were never returned). There was no internet for the first several hours, as well as no lights or heat until we found the router plug had to be reset...go figure. Bed was hard, pillows were super flat, but we brought our own...it was really all about the location. It was where we wanted to be.

This cabin is all about LOCATION. The view was incredible, but the beds and cabin, not so much. The beds were old and uncomfortable. The refrigerator was rusting. The bathroom didn't have a working vent fan. There were only 3 towels for 4 guests.
But the location was wonderful. Looking over the beach, which was just out the door and across the parking lot. We only stayed for one night, but it was worth every penny.

This place was rustic. Older cute cabin. It was clean and functional and just a few minutes walk to tunnel beach. Very nice and quiet and the little restaurant next door is amazing. Pretty much no cell service if you are on Tmobile but the wifi was excellent and water pressure was amazing in the shower. It's not fancy or a 5*, it's a little run down but for the price and location it is amazing. We will rent here again just for the ability to get away and relax. Absolutely loved it.

When brought to management attention, cold answer given to either leave for refund or stay for 20% off. Left the property and notified them, still no refund as of today. Gravely dissappointed.

The cabin has a convenient location to the main beach and allowed pets. The cabin is pretty dated and could use a deep cleaning. Staff wasn't rude but I don't feel they went out of their way to provide exceptional customer service or very friendly. Overall, it didn't meet my expectations for the price compared to other properties in the area.

Had Cabin 16. Great little place [turn the lights off and it looks like the fanciest motel ever! :) ]. It was 30-33* outside; inside we had a little 8" tall portable heater that eventually got the inside bearable temperature-wise; I'm sure it would be nicer when the outside temp was warmer. It did look like whoever washed the bed sheets had a cat with dark hair, as there were plenty of soft little black hairs in the bed; we wore our p.j.s, so survived; and not fleas, as the Oregon coast has plenty of them. Check-in / Check-out were flawless. Cabin is a very short walk from the beach; could hear the comforting waves all night.

The heater in the room was not effective. The bedrooms would get very cold. There was a small extra heater in one of the bedroom but it would get too hot and dry if you keep it on at night and the other room would freeze anyway. The beds are small for queen size bed and make lot of noise. The kitchen can have ceramic bowls and plates in place of plastic ones.

Location is amazing and very convenient. View from room is awesome.

Our stay at a cabin was great. Location is steps away from beach access and cafes. Deck view of the ocean. Though the cabins are a bit dated, they offered quiet privacy and were clean. Kitchen suitable for simple meals and preparing cocktails and hors-d'oeuvres for sunset viewing from the deck or beach. Cleaning staff was around mid-day and checked to see if we had any needs. If the tired mattress in our room were replaced, it would upgrade the stay to 5 stars.

Beautiful location. Easy access to a dog friendly gorgeous beach right across the street. Cute cabin that was larger than I expected. It is an older property, but that doesn’t bother me. The cleaning was an issue. Sheets didn’t appear to be clean even after I asked for them to be changed. If not for that this place would be my definite go to for an affordable beach getaway.

We loved the access to the ocean and waking up to the sounds of the waves crashing. Our room had adequate amenities, but the only downside was that it smelled so strongly of bleach when we got there that we had headaches all evening. We felt that the room could’ve been a little cleaner and not such a strong use/smell of bleach, but otherwise enjoyed our stay and will be back.

They didn't change the sheets, there was hair in them. The coffe pot had coffee in it. The heater wasn't working and they offer a free night because of the inconvenient, but I never received a refund. The cabins need an update, in one of the cabins that I rented the light in the bathroom wasn't working and I had to use a lamp to be able to take a shower. Overall not a good place to stay.

Well, I liked the convenience of remote check-in, and it was certainly private, but there was no smiling howdy, so very little to opine on. I am six foot one, and the ceiling over the sink is 5'11" so the mirror is just a tad low. Now, in my opinion, the fire extinguisher is placed stupidly, so if there is a fire, the extinguisher will be in it. Whereas were it low on the wall, next to the doorknob, one would be at the exit....a good place to fight the fire from. A more effective entry mat, during winter.

First of all, this property is NOT ocean FRONT. There is a small, and then big parking lot in between the cabins and the beach. It is a beautiful area, but our cabin could use some updating. The breaker blew twice with the heater on. The cabin was super musty and the drains wouldn’t drain. Not worth the $ we paid.

The location is amazing! The cabin itself was not great. Aside from being very "cozy", the floors are sloped, the bed was really springy, the shower is made for people no taller than 5'10" and drains unbelievably slowly if you run the shower continuously and the toilet isnt fully attached to the floor. We figured it all out with no major issues, and we have some funny stories and memories, for sure.

Check in was an absolute nightmare, I don't even have the time here to explain, just know it took 2 hours to get checked in with multiple trips back and forth and so much waiting and wrong keys and no one knows where the key is. It's important to know before you book that there is no one on sight if you have problems. Oh and no cell service, and to cap it off the Internet didn't work either, which all sounds fine until you literally can't get into your cabin and there's no one there. The property is dated and small. I don't need modern amenities, but at least update the bedding from the 30 year old polyester quilt. I'm a tall human and it felt cramped. Parking is cramped. Location is about the only thing going here.

This is a dog rental. Even if I had dogs, I wouldn't stay here with them. Fumigation odors were overwhelming for humans, let alone animals. Walking around the bed to get to a bathroom with no door is not rustic, it is run down. Hard to keep a counter clean when the Formica is wearing off.

We loves staying at this little rustic cabin. My favorite part was the location. Just steps from the beach and had big windows that you could open and hear the waves.

Front window didn’t lock. Shower was inoperable. Parking was not guaranteed, ULTRA MINUTE and overrun by beachgoers. I hope your REALLY good at backing out of super tight spots. It would have been nice to take a shower. We messaged the property about the shower and they never said anything.

Pros outweigh the few drawbacks.

Great, great location 30 seconds to the beach and well cleaned and stocked rooms are pros. Also at a reasonable price. Downside is the beds comfort was only so-so and some of the interior could use a bit of care or updating. Small shower with weak water pressure for instance. On the whole if you want a place close to a beautiful beach without spending a fortune its a good option

Loved the views! Room was cozy, lazyboy was very nice. Power was out in part of the living room, vanity and bathroom. Lights did not work, some receptacles also not working.

Quiet & Clean

This quaint little cabin was very clean and well maintained. You can sit and listen to the ocean waves on the front porch as a few of our neighbors did or sit in the comfy recliner and turn on the Tv to enjoy some TV at night's end. With nice cafe options a short 1-3 minute walk from the cabin I would recommend.

I reserved a studio cabin "with kitchenette." Assuming they knew the definition of a kitchenette, I was expecting a small stove, small oven, and small sink. Nope. Just your standard microwave, tiny frig, and coffeepot. They're website refers to it as a "two-bedroom studio," so they are clearly unaware that words have actual meanings.

Getting to and from the cabin was treacherous. Photos online show a small deck with safe steps. Now it's just steep, narrow, bare concrete steps with no landing at the door and no handrails. It's a miracle I didn't fall. When we spoke to the manager(?) she said they were aware of the danger and were "working on it."
