The location is great, you are directly across from the beach. The bed linens are of a high count with excellent stitching. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional. We had an amazing stay at Panoramic Hotel. The concierge is wonderful- we were able to communicate with them via WhatsApp to schedule a ride from the hotel to a vineyard and to and from the airport.
The room was lovely and clean, with a balcony overlooking Isola Bella. Our room was a nice size and with a large shower. The hotel provides flip flops and a bag that can be used as a beach bag. They also provide two large beach towels to use during your stay.
The hotel is located in a great location. Take the steps up to Taormina city or ride the cable car (Funivia di Taormina), which is a 3minute walk from the hotel. It is located next to some great restaurants, which overlook the water and some shops where you can purchase necessities like water, snacks, sunscreen, beach toys, etc.
We enjoyed breakfast on the 4th floor- a buffet with a wide variety of options and fresh made coffee to order. Tables overlook the water.
The pool is beautiful and perfect for a day of relaxing. There is a pool bar and bathroom facilities.
We had to leave the hotel at 6:30am for a flight. The concierge had a to go breakfast waiting for us upon checkout. Such a wonderful surprise on our way out.

Having breakfast (buffet style) on the roof top terrace overlooking the bay was truly fantastic.
The hotel us very clean we found to be in a great location with the beach is 5 mins walk away. It's stony, but the water is amazingly clear and warm.
The main Taormina centre is up the (very steep) hill and is accessible via some steps, if you're fairly fit, but there's an cable car, which is also 5mins walk away (€10 return.)

Our front desk host, Sandro, took care of us in so many ways. Easy walk to tramway that takes you to Taormina. Superb breakfast ( one day croissants a little incinerated, but it is Sicily) Lovely rooftop pool, nice landscaping and plants everywhere.plenty of places to eat , drink and buy sundries. Might be considered a little dangerous to walk near hotel...not a lot of designated sidewalks

Loved it. Loved the hotel, loved the location. Very close to the steps to Isola Bella and the beach there. Super close to the funivia up to Taormina. The hotel has a great pool, fantastic breakfast, great common areas, super comfortable room with a lovely balcony and amazing view. (We got used to the orange room color accents adjacent to the hilariously purple and magenta bathroom.). Parking at the hotel which is nice because it didn't look like there were many other options. I wish we could have stayed longer.

What a lovely surprise Panoramic Hotel was, from the friendly welcome, to the in room chocolates, to the flip flops for the pool. The room was lovely with a nice balcony and a spectacular view of Islabella. The breakfast was fantastic. Fluffy pancakes, fresh honeycomb, sweet pastries and so much more served in the terrace with views of the bay. We had lunch there one day as well and the food was fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. The pool also had beautiful views. If you’re adventurous the steps to the top to the main town centre and ancient Theater are a challenge, or take the cable car instead. We highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel, staff and service. Could not fault this hotel. The cleanliness was exceptional, the pool area beautiful and so well kept. Reception were amazingly helpful and the range of food at breakfast was phenomenal. Would highly recommend. Just be cautious of the local restaurants attention to food safety. We got food poisoning twice in the space of one week, once from the seafood at Bella Assia and then from the seafood at Osteria da Rita in the main town. Nothing to do with the hotel though and housekeeping were so kind about not disturbing us when we were ill and made sure we had everything we needed. You will also experience exceptional service at the pool. This hotel was more than anyone could need and ticked all the boxes.

One would be hard pressed to find a view better than this hotel offers. Superb dining options are across the street. The funicular to town is a very short walk away. The hotel is aptly titled, the panaromic view is the stuff of Greek mythology, with Isola Bella sitting center stage on the view to the sea.

Staff was gracious and accommodating from the second we arrived until the day we left...assisting us with parking, luggage, dinner reservations and booking a wine/Mount Etna tour. Our room had a spacious sea view balcony and there is also a nice breakfast terrace and a beautiful top floor pool and bar. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at Panoramic Hotel. It really was better than expected as it was our first time in Taormina. We were a family of 4. My 13 year old daughter and her cousin, 20. They enjoyed the pool after a beach day as it was very refreshing. It was very convenient as we could walk to cable car (5 min walk) to Taormina center which was amazing! Also the beach was about a 3 minute walk from Hotel. The views were also spectacular from our balcony.

This is the perfect property for a beautiful view, comfort and great parking. Smaller hotel with all the amenities of a big hotel. They are extremely hospitable, gave great recommendations for shopping and getting around the town. There breakfast buffet is like no other, amazing!! All the staff were exceptional with everything. Cafe Isol Bella next door had the best rice balls and canolis. Great sunrises from our personal balcony. Can't say enough great things about this place.

The hotel is in a nice location just in front of Isola Bella beach and is walking distance from cable cars that take you into Taormina town centre. We had a beach view from our room which was really pretty and you can sit out on the terrace with a cup of tea or coffee and just watch the sea. The room was clean, there were cleaners pretty much every day and they topped up on tea coffee. My only critique of the room is that there was no iron, that would have been quite handy.
We tried the breakfast which was ok, but also not the best and definitely not worth the price. There are better breakfast restaurants in town.

The property was located in a great location which was close to the chairlift. It also was a few steps to go to the beach and see the island. The hotel had limited parking but you can reserve ahead to make sure you have a spot. They get your car ready once you need to leave. The entrance is right next to the entrance door to go to the hotel. The staff was really friendly and always available. There are many great restaurants at the top of town if you take the €6 chairlift (round trip) per person. They also have a weekly pass for €50 for unlimited uses for the chairlift. The view was amazing as we stayed in a Superior Sea View room and the room size was large and had a safe and storage for the luggage. The cleaning lady cleans very well but does move your stuff in draws as she makes sure to clean all surfaces. The view and location are just perfect so if you stay here it’s worth the extra money to make sure you have a sea view and superior room.

The Panoramic Hotel is a bare bones hotel. It's rated a 4 star hotel and I would personally not give it this rating. It borders between 2.5 and 3 stars. It's in a nice location across from Isola Bella, but hotel pictures depicted on the website are not necessarily the room you will get at check in. We had the only room on the 5th floor and I would say the view wasn't that great. Yes, we could see the Isola Bella across the street, but we had to look over the roof of the 4th floor restaurant below us. The view was not like the pictures on the website. In fact, there was another window in the bedroom that looked right into a cement wall of a building. If you like to stay at hotels just to sleep this place is fine. If you are looking to be pampered and stay in a very nice hotel room, look elsewhere.
