lovely stay always... the area is not very touristy but has amazing restaurants (including fine Chinese next door and amazing tacos about a block away), museums (the Iglesia del Carmen has an amazing baroque art), monuments, and shops. the only thing that isn't true about the listing is that the property has a pool... not so.

The property is well located and safe. The are a lot of walkable options. The room upgrade was the same room, but it allowed us to be on 14th floor which was nice because the advertising as soundproof rooms is incorrect. You can hear everything from traffic to people slamming their doors in the hall to voices in the next room. The kitchenette was a nice feature and why we chose this hotel, aside from the soundproof rooms advertisement, but they do not supply dish soap, sponge, and kitchen towel. They give you 2 complimentary pods for coffee, but then you have to buy more. Because you can't wash your own dishes, you are limited to actually using the kitchen. There is only one frying pan as well.
The in room service was expensive - we arrived late and thought we could take advantage of the VIP 20% discount. They didn't include the discount. We had ordered two plates of churros that tasted like chicken wings. They said they would credit us, but instead of giving us a full credit for a breakfast we ordered, they only discounted us 35%. I had asked the front desk about it and the 20% discount before ordering breakfast otherwise they would not refund the money. It was credit only. It was pretty disappointing and poor business practice.
The staff is really nice and professional overall. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you want to stay here, just know that it's pretty loud and don't order room service. We won't be staying here again after this experience, to be honest.

Having encountered issues at the property during our last stay, we were contacted by the Service Manager and were told to let her know the dates of our next visit so she could ensure a pleasant visit. Well, when we arrived, our room was at 33o C or 91o F, the room was missing the refrigerator and the TV wasn’t working.
It didn’t seem like anyone had checked the room.
We called the front desk and inquire about the refrigerator, Ms. Paulina said that the refrigerator was taken out to receive maintenance but someone would bring a replacement right away. Waited for 45 minutes and the fridge never arrived. Went down and requested to speak with the Manager, but were told he wasn’t here during the weekend;
The following day we were switched to another room. The day after that, when we returned, found maintenance personnel working on the A/C of the new room - despite our DO NOT DISTURB sign hanging on the door. The Service Manager

WATER TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATION
The room was great, I always stay here when I travel to Mexico City. Convenient location. I'd like it even more if the shower water preasure was a little more even and the cold and hot fluctuation was not so bad.

First, just because you purchase this suite doesn't mean that the staff at the hotel knows that it is the top floor. I had to call to confirm before the trip and once arrived at the hotel, had to confirm it again since they were going to give me the 2nd floor suite because that was the only one available at the time, hence waited about an hour for the top floor to be available (I was not rude but said okay will wait for top floor with a smile and it was fine.)
The top floor is the 12th floor but there is one more floor above you which is the Penthouse. There is a big Financial building on the side within the view but they really can't see in until night time due to the reflecting windows of the hotel, and at night, people in the financial building are gone home so no issue. Even though we got free breakfast, I only went one morning because it was pretty awful.
I thought lot of things were 3-4 stars but overall I gave it 5 stars due to the great room with a view and the fact that sound proofing in the room along with being on the 12th floor with windows facing away from the main street gave me really good nights of sleep for me to do my day adventures. The noise is something you can't escape in CDMX and ability to get a good night of sleep with a relaxing view was totally worth the extra uber rides needed from here.

I thought lot of things were 3-4 stars but overall I gave it 5 stars due to the great room with a view and the fact that sound proofing in the room along with being on the 12th floor with windows facing away from the main street gave me really good nights of sleep for me to do my day adventures. The noise is something you can't escape in CDMX and ability to get a good night of sleep with a relaxing view was totally worth the extra uber rides needed from here.

This is a great location for us when we stay in Mexico City. On a main street. Small mall next door. Can buy tamals and fruit from vendors two blocks away. Great beds. Staff are very nice. The people who take care of the rooms do a great job. The only issue we had in our 8 night stay was the air conditioning acted up the last two nights/days. But that was the only issue. We had a great suite with a couple of small sofas so when the family came into the room there was plenty of space. This is the only place we stay at anymore in Mexico City.
