Very old property. Location not bad. Poor lighting in corridors. You have to handover keys at the reception every time you go out. No effort to maintain at least to a minimum presentable level. Hospital smell as pointed in some comment. Worth not more than 30 euros. Didn’t dare to try the breakfast. I went to mall to buy a new towel as the towels provided were old, white turned grey and didn’t seem clean. Staff were cooperative but they can’t do anything if the owner wants property to be that way. I don’t understand where those people come from who gave positive comments like pleasant surprise etc. But then in FARO better properties are quoted much more expensive. FARO is not worth paying rent more than Lisbon for similar property. Avoid.

A simple hotel in the centre of Faro, close by walk to the old town, bus terminal, sea (ferries). Our room was ok, with a very big terrace. Even a small fridge was there👍
Very helpful man at the reception.

Friendly, inexpensive Hotel in Faro

Our flight home was cancelled due to the power outage and as our original hotel was fully booked, we had to find another hotel with available rooms. The hotel was cheaper than we would normally spend, but we were very pleasantly surprised to find a decent sized bedroom, good sized bathroom and very friendly staff. We arrived to a very stressed reception team working in candlelight, but they were happy to give us some food, water and candles! The location is good for the best restaurants in Faro and the marina. The breakfast was definitely typical for a budget hotel, a basket with pre-wrapped bread roll and pain-au-chocolat and a bowl of fruit. We have no complaints though as we weren't paying for the room! If you are looking for a friendly and not expensive hotel in Faro, I'd recommend Adelaide Hotel.

Central, clean but noisey

Booked through necessity as flight was cancelled near midnight. Wanted to be central and near airport for return (once known). Hotel is situated in one way street near Faro city centre and all the sights. Unfortunately due to the lateness of the hour the night porter dealt with the bookings and this took a v long time, plus we were allocated a room that was street facing and noisey. Perfectly ok room with shower and air conditioning. Clean and suitable for 1-2 nights to explore Faro.

Little to no WIFI and Buzzer Access Only.

The room was comfortable. However, the wifi was horrible and unusable which is not acceptable in today's dogital age and the need to stay connected via all of your devices. I also did not like that everytime you go to the hotel you have to press a buzzer and wait for someone to come to the door to open it to let you in.

The hotel was a stopover and had everything we needed to stay the night. A little dated and the bathrooms are old but clean. Beds are very firm. We didn’t have the breakfast that opens at 8am. We had AC and tv and would stay here again. We were able to get a bolt to the airport right outside.

We were 7 blokes on a cycle tour of the Algarve and chose the Adelaide because it was cheap and central. What we didn't expect was to find every window and door on the ground floor behind locked bars. We called it \"the prison\". The reception spoke limited English and check in wasn't very smooth. Being located centrally meant it was noisy in the street at night. However, it was very clean,, with hot showers and the beds were comfortable.

We originally had somewhere else booked that old us the day before we were flying that they had structural problems so I needed to find somewhere FAST!

This place was around the same price so was able to book with no problems.

A taxi from the airport at around 10.30pm was 11 euros / 15 minutes to the door.

Got checked in ok. Room was small and basic but suitable as we only intended to sleep in there. There's no kettles or coffee making equipment etc but there was a small fridge. There's a snack bar / bar but we never bothered with that either.

You don't need anything else as there are loads of places to eat and drink, the cafe round the corner is a lovely place to end up for a few beers and everywhere - the marina / old town etc are all within about ten minutes walk - Faro itself is REALLY small.

Due to my tight schedule, I did not have much time sitting back and relax. My review may not be complete. The good things about this hotel include air conditioning and efficient hot water system. The downside was language barrier as I could not speak Portuguese with the front reception (based on my experience). By the way, the price includes breakfast too.

Great location, lovely little hotel with some beautiful rooms (though not all were equally beautiful). The rooms were balconies were lovely and bright. Breakfast was generous and a great start to the day. Heating was excellent in all rooms. Beds were comfortable but for me they were a little too hard so i slept on top of blankets too. All the staff were lovely and helpful. Felt like family and homely. Fridges and good showers (no kettle). The terraces/ balconies were a bit dirty with cigarette butts and ash on our return but that was the only let down.Recommend - excellent value

Disgraceful and outdated accommodation.

I did not enjoy my stay at all. The receptionist was friendly but the lady who owns the place scowled at me when I smiled at her. She later spoke to us and said that “due to Covid” we would have to collect our breakfast from reception at 8am. It’s a pity that she didn’t use the pandemic as an opportunity to update her disgusting accommodation.
As soon as we walked into our room, we could smell that the room smelled musty and things got progressively worse. The room was not as clean as it should have been. It was dusty, there were hairs in the bathroom, the tiles and the mirrors were stained, the shower tray was peeling and the soap dispenser had liquid soap that was clearly watered down. The only positives were that at least the bed and toilet were clean.
I work as a cleaner and I would have been ashamed to have left a room in that condition because it was completely unacceptable.
I didn’t feel at all comfortable there and my partner and I ended up checking out after the first day and moving to a better hotel.
I would not recommend this place.

Not what we were expecting - needs updating even f

Our stay was a mixed experience positive things first. The staff were always pleasant. The hotel is in a central location.Breakfast was plentiful (takeaway- think pack up)!Clean towels provided everyday.

Ok now negatives- 1) we were expecting a balcony but there wasn’t one we did ask to be moved to another room but was told the hotel was full, so possibly - this didn’t happen.
2) no coffee or tea facilities in room.
3) toilet was broken and kept repeatedly over flushing. We did report this immediately the receptionists just smiled - nothing was done to fix it.
4) shower felt like the base was going to collapse when you stood on it.
5) the drawers were dirty inside I cleaned them with wet wipes.

Accommodation suited the one night stay before our flight the next day. It was spacious, clean, beds were comfortable, shower was great. Towels provided were super clean. Only one snag was the air con. Whilst it was kind of working the fan did not provide enough cool air which made the room difficult to sleep in.

L’hote était bizarre et très désagréable, il voulait nous faire payer des frais supplémentaires pour avoir demandé une couverture alors qu’il nous en manquait pour notre séjour. En ayant communiqué avec la propriétaire (sa mère et qui était très sympas) dans une matinée pendant notre séjour, elle nous a assuré qu’il n’y aura pas de frais pour une couverture devant l’hote( son fils). Là une fois arrivée de dehors le dernier soir de notre séjour, l’hote avait chargé le réceptionniste de nous obliger à payer des frais quelconque sans justification ce qu’on a refusé car cela ressemblait enormement à une arnaque. J’ai donc demandé à voir la propriétaire ce soir meme là , mais vu qu’il était tard ce n’était pas possible. Nous avons donc quitté le lendemain sans réponse de la part du propriétaire. Je crois que l'hôte a essayé de nous soutirer de l’argent du manière ou d’une autre et je trouve ça dommage d’avoir essayé de profiter de jeunes filles. C’etait un endroit agréable et mignon mais je me doute maintenant que cela soit safe pour des femmes malheureusement à cause de l’hote.

Tout est comme dans l’annonce, excepté « articles de toilettes gratuits » qui sont inexistants. Il y a seulement un savon pour les mains. Donc savon et shampooing sont à prévoir dans vos bagages.

War okay für zwei Nächte. An sich ist die Unterkunft sauber. Allerdings gibt es Schimmel an den Decken. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung und für einen Kurztripp und sich Faro anzuschauen. Sehr gut gelegen.
