Room was clean and cosy. Kitchen was sufficiently equipped for food prep and cooking. Heaters in kitchen and living room broke down on the last night of our stay but good that hotel provided a portable heater. Would be good if hotel could provide larger waste bin in the kitchen.

Would also be good if reception was open for longer on weekends or at least have a contact number to call when it was closed.

Breakfast was yummy with a good spread. Loved the waffle-maker.

The views from our room rorbuer suite 216 were awesome - it was right next to the water, with views of Svinoya Rorbuer located on the opposite island.

Best part was that we could see the auroras from the comfort of our room - on all the nights of our stay and took wonderful pics and videos of the auroras!

Next time we come, we will definitely stay longer! ;)

The space was larger than expected with everything we needed for a cosy, warm and comfortable stay

Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of hot and cold and healthy options

Location was close to the centre of town but also very close to some incredible hiking trails

The staff were probably the kindest and most helpful that we encountered on our 6 week travels. Going above and beyond with genuine care and enthusiasm to ensure that we as guests and tourists had all our needs met

Wonderful hotel to stay at

We had a lovely stay in our junior suite, room 212, the view was fantastic watching the Hurtigruten coming and going and the whole of the harbour.
The staff were absolutely amazing especially when our taxi didn’t turn up to take us to the airport for our return flight. The hotel reception allowed one of their staff to drive us to the airport thus reducing the stress we were experiencing

We had a wonderful stay! Starting our trip in an authentic rurbruer was great for our family. Our room was cozy and plenty of space for everyone. My only complaints are there are no blackout curtains (we were there during the midnight sun so sleep masks are necessary), and there wasn’t a lot of hot water for showers. Our family of 5 could not all shower fast enough to get warm showers. Everything else was great.

Good location for a short stay in Svolvaer

I stayed for 1 night and found the accommodation satisfactory for that time, I am not sure I'd want to stay longer. I thought the cabin was a little tired looking and could do with some updates. I stayed in much nicer places elsewhere in Lofoten. Breakfast was OK although the coffee machine was broken. The location was good though.

We like the fact that it was a self-contained cabin -it was very comfortable, homely and above all quiet with a spectacular views all around it. Property overbooked the night of our stay. We booked a two story suite with three beds on the water but we were given keys to a small one story apt with one bed overlooking the parking lot. Not even remotely close to what we paid for. The room was also located very close to the bar which was open till 2 AM and had karaoke (extremely loud).

We questioned the room and they acknowledged we were in the wrong room but couldn't be moved. They offered a bottle of wine to make up for it which we declined. Asked for a partial refund instead and they said we would have to request it from Expedia.

The hotel ignored Expedias calls until after we checked out. Then after we were gone they finally answered and told Expedia they would not approve the partial refund. Horrible experience. We are now going through our credit cards dispute process.

Convenient and with loads of local character

Anker Brygge is perfectly situated in the middle of town, with lots of outdoor tables for enjoying the harbor views. The cabins have been tastefully preserved with antique fixtures while also having all the modern amenities. I was particularly thankful for the reception staff who helped us quickly secure transport to the airport when other options were not available. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious!

There is easy, free on-site parking. It is located at the heart of Svolvaer. We booked the Rorbu Suite, the entire suite is spacious. The windows of the bedroom had black-out curtains. Staff have been accomodating.

However, we are sorry to say that we did not enjoy much of our stay here. The suite we booked was located on the top floor above the pub with no lift, and we each had a 20 kg luggage. The shower has been nice, but the boiler required some time to re-heat and we would not recommend the second person who would like to shower to do it immediately after the first. The suite itself was tidy but not very clean; I could see visible yellowish stains on the mattress of the bunk beds.

The most troubling issue of all was the odour; the whole suite somehow carried a very strong smell, much alike the smell you would find on an old ship. I am not sure if it was from the direct sunlight exposure to the roof from the previous sunny day, or from the actual ship decor inside, but the smell was there and it was overpowering. We tried opening all the balcony doors to ventilate and it helped little. We tried switching to another room on the same floor and the smell was the same, only lessened to a slight degree; the smell did affect my sleep.

Our stay at the Anker Brygge was wonderful, it was our favorite place while we were in Norway. The view from our rooms were all fantastic, the picnic table outside a wonderful place to enjoy a warm evening. The breakfast in the morning was great too.
The only thing that could be better is the support from the staff. I needed some help due to an emergency but the lady at the front desk didn’t seem very happy that she had to help me wiith a simple phone call. In the middle of the night, the fire alarms started blaring in all the buildings. Everyone came outside but there was no staff to tell us what was going on. After 10 minutes or so, the alarm stopped and we all went back to sleep hoping it was just a false alarm. It would have been nice to be reassured all is okay.

Charming and cozy room 211 above pub & restaurant. Soundproof, clean with every necessities in kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Pleasant enough hotel in a prime location

the units are well equipped and set in an excellent location close to all amenities in Svolvær. Overall we enjoyed our stay but our customer experience was diminished a little by a sub par breakfast. Buffet dishes were not routinely replenished and staff seemed to be focussed only on getting the job done rather than on enhancing the customer experience. We felt that, for a hotel that seems to believe it is high end, this was not entirely satisfactory. Also a “how did you enjoy your stay” type of comment should be the least a 3 night guest should expect on checkout but once again there seemed to be a lack of training (or was it a lack of motivation) in this area.

Thoroughly enjoyable short break.

Very relaxing stay (4 nights). Excellent breakfasts. Pleasantly situated and nicely furnished rorbu (chalet), near main building and overlooking Svolvaer harbour. Useful kitchenette meant we did not have to eat out all the time. Hotel staff were very helpful in booking a hire car and giving us a breakfast platter on the last evening when we had to leave at 0600 the next morning to catch the early ferry (there were fresh eggs and enough bread, meat, fruit and cheese to do for lunch as well!)

厨房过于小了，所有的锅都没有盖，一共就2个锅，所以我们放弃了烹饪。有微波炉和小冰箱。我们是住楼上2个卧室，楼下一个卧室，有2个浴室，这点很好。暖气房间里很足。客厅里的，貌似都不制暖。早饭不错，选择很多。

Stod i annonsen da vi bestilte at det var to soverom, med da vi kom dit fikk vi beskjed om at vi kun fikk bruke ett.
Det var folk som gikk forbi stuevinduet vårt både sent og tidlig - til tider hvalfarting av folk. Meget plagsomt - lite privatliv. Tok det opp med resepsjonen to ganger uten at noe skjedde.

Unità abitativa molto bella e spaziosa su due piani con vista mare. Arredata con gusto, ben riscaldata. La sala colazione gradevole e invitante. Buffet fantastico.
Unico aspetto debole era la Sig.ra alla reception monosillabe. Sulla domanda circa il posteggio ci consigliava di istallare l'app dei posteggi pubblici a pagamento. Solo dopo un po di insistenza ha ammessa l'esistenza di qualche posteggio a disposizione degli ospiti.
